They laughed together as they dashed through the halls of the hospital, their love for each other shining brightly in their eyes.Once they reached the privacy of the bathroom, they shared another tender moment before undressing themselves to enter the shower, Joel couldn't help but notice her glow – not just from their lovemaking but also from her newfound happiness. Once they left the shower,they were arranging themselves in the mirror. You know," he said as he buttoned up his shirt, "I've always admired your resilience. You handle everything thrown at you with such grace and strength." He leaned against the sink, meeting her gaze in the mirror."Thank you, Joel" She smiled at him in the mirror. She couldn't help but feel blessed to have him in her life. "I've always admired your dedication to your work, even when it meant sacrificing personal relationships. You're an amazing doctor and person." "Well..this time...I won't sacrifice my personal life. I promise,I'll take care of what we have" He leaned down to kiss her. She stared at him for a moment still couldn't believe what he just said. "Am I so important to you ?" She asked him with tears of emotion in her eyes" Joel hugged her tightly and whispered into her ear " Yes !" They shared another kiss and walked out into the hospital hallways trying to get back to normal and focus on the cases they had.

Since I'm one episode away from finishing Saving Hope, here's some of my thoughts (I will edit this post tomorrow)

! Warning: Long post !

- 1st impressions:

I thought having a storyline of a doctor talking with ghosts was weird at first...

But my curiousity got the best of me and I started liking the show

\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

- The Charapters:

• Charlie Harris (The main charpater): I love him sm, he's definitly one of my favorites, his style reminds me of Conrad Hawkins (The Resident), I loved how he tries to help the ghosts.

• Alex Reid (The 2nd main charpater): I love her sm and I feel so bad for her😭, in just 5 seasons she lost her brother, colley, mother and husband.

She might be a little annoying sometimes, but she's fine overall

• Joel Goran (The fan favorite): For some reason, he reminds me of Douxie Casperan (Tales of Arcadia), but I love him sm too, its sad that he had to die on "All the pretty horses" (Last ep from S3)

• Maggie Lin: LOVE LOVE LOVE HER SO MUCHH💗🫶🏻! I loved her smm on S3 (S3 Maggie on top>>) She might had left on S5, but hey! She's happy with her gf (Sydney)

• Sydney Katz: Sydney ily but how many times you had to left😭, but I love her sm too!

She might had left for the hundred time, but hey! At least this time she's with her gf (Maggie)

Lintz defender since 2023 :3

• Dawn Bell: I feel like this will be contervercial... But... I liked Dawn

I do admit...I didn't rlly loved her on the 1st seasons. But her charapters develoment was amazing! (Dawn pls take a break)

• Zack Miller: Another charpater that deserves better. But he's a decent charapter, I feel bad for him on "All the pretty horses" after witness Joel's death (Him and Joel were friends)

• Shahir Hamza: ONE OF MY FAVORITES!! Has a autistic person, I loved how it was well protacted and respresented during the show!

- Extras charapters:

• Wayne Sharp: He deserved more screentime. But he's a nice charapter

• Jackson: I love his humor, he didn't had alot of screentime, but during it, he was iconic

• Jeremy Bishop: Probably another fan favorite, he didn't had much screentime, but hey, him and Charlie were friends and I loved that

• Dana Kinney: MY GIRLL!! I loved her so much! She deserved so much better, her and Alex are a inseperable bond>>>

• Cassie Williams: Her charapter develoment>>>, in the last seasons she was amazing!! I loved her energy so much!

Sad to see her go, but at least she's working with her idol

• Dev Sekara: Another charpater who had a incredible develoment, him and Cassie were so cute togheter!

• Asha Mirani: She didn't had alot of screentime, but she deserved so much better, I feel so bad to her

I have nothing to say much about hed since she left during S4

• Kristine Fields (Another ghost speaker): At 1st she was fine...But after her incident she started to be a little annoying and even she went to the point to haunt Charlie during her sugery😭

Series Finale / Final thoughts:

Just finished watching "First and Last".

When I said that Jackson deserves more screentime... THATS NOT WHAT I MEANT

You might think its getting worst? It does, when they all waiting for Jackson, a huge acident happend. And just like the description of "Hope Never Dies"... "They can't safe everyone"

I. AM. NOT. READY FOR THE FINALE

Finished "Hope Never Dies". I cried at the end of the episode

Charlie's gone, gone in his own series. The series started with him in a coma, ended with him brain dead.

Alex deserves so much better, I feel bad for her...

The hole episode reminds me from "The Long and Winding Road" - The Resident: S5, ep 3 (Trust me, I'm still in denial with that episode after a year ago), but a little bit more extreme...

Overwall, I loved the show sm!! Its sad it didn't got another season but I enjoyed watching it

I wish you would write a fic with Joel looking after reader who starts feeling shaky and unwell at work 👀

Still trying to decide whether I write reader inserts for widespread viewing anymore or not, so I'm putting this behind a cut.

For those select few of you for whom I've written private comfort ficlets before, the above does not apply. I'm always happy to write those for y'all. ♥♥♥

"Zach tells me you're not looking so good today."

You gasped, dropping the IV set you were fishing out of a supply cart, nearly fumbling the bag of saline in your other hand, too. Glancing over your shoulder you found Joel lounging with his hip propped against a nearby counter, watching you in that scrutinizing way of his that told you he wasn't missing anything.

"Zach needs to keep his opinions to himself," you grumbled as you picked up the IV set again, bumping the drawer closed with your elbow as you turned to leave the supply room, finding your way blocked. Joel surveyed you from the doorway, his expression soft and concerned. If you didn't know better, you'd think he was giving you puppy dog eyes.

"He's right, though; you do look pretty awful."

You rolled your eyes. "Thanks."

Joel pushed off the counter, reaching for your arm, grasping you gently by the elbow and steering you along out of the room. You tried to wriggle out of his grip but found yourself too tired to protest much. Besides, his touch was warm and comforting and, as much as you didn't want to admit it, it probably wasn't a bad idea to have someone take a look at you. You did feel pretty awful.

As you passed by the nursing station, Joel paused and took the IV supplies from your hands, handing them off to Jackson with instructions to finish up with whatever patient you were working on. To his credit, Jackson took it all in stride and before you knew it, Joel was leading you into an empty exam room and closing the door in your wake.

"Up on the table for me, if you please," Joel instructed, his tone leaving no room for argument.

You complied with a sigh, earning yourself a brief but warm smile from Joel as he approached you. You closed your eyes as he reached out and touched the back of his hand to your forehead, frowning as he hummed thoughtfully.

"You're burning up," he commented, his fingers finding your wrist, pressing into the artery there. "And your heart rate's elevated. Lie back for me."

You opened your eyes again, watching him as you shifted around to pull your feet up. You laid back, your head landing on the pillow at the upper end of the table, Joel's grip on your wrist never wavering.

"That's it, sweetheart," he murmured, finally releasing your hand, reaching up to gently feel your lymph nodes instead as he began asking you questions about the history of your illness.

You resigned yourself to his exam, answering obediently as he questioned you. He was confident you were suffering from nothing more than some sort of a viral infection and you raised an eyebrow at him as he reached for his stethoscope, plugging the ends into his ears as he leaned in over you to press the instrument to your chest.

"Deep breaths for me."

You complied once before firing back. "What's an orthopedic surgeon doing with a stethoscope anyway?"

He laughed softly as he moved it to another spot on your chest. "It doesn't come in handy too often, but I'm glad I've got it with me today," he said with a wink. "Seeing as you didn't want to let Zach examine you when you had the chance."

You rolled your eyes, flashing him a genuine smile for the first time since you'd run into him. Closing your eyes, you allowed him to carry on, letting him take expert care of you without taking the bait.

Sure, you had a bit of a crush on him, but he didn't need to know that.

Her voice was shaking with emotion. Joel answered "There's no need to do this, I did it earlier. He's sleeping. Now...tell me the truth !" "Dr. Joel...I can.." He interrupted her and said "You can call me Joel when we are alone and whatever you were about to say,please tell me the truth." "Fine !" She answered while Joel was still holding her by her waist. "I'll tell you just for you to leave me alone,okay ?" "Okay !" He agreed. "Joel...I'm in love with you,I've been in love with you since long time ago" She sighted softly " Oh,really ?! How long have you been in love with me?" He questioned her licking his lower lip."Since you were Dr. Reid's boyfriend for the first time" Her answer was almost a whisper. Joel moved away from her and went to close the door and draw the blinds.
