Rogue Speech - the Sky/Skulk Pidgin
One of the most common trade-speaks used before the Great Connection and one of the few tongues that intriguingly remained un-touched by the Connection, Rogue-Speech is the pidgin created between the Sky Kingdoms and the Skulks near them. With the forest clans being even more isolationist in the past (often refusing business with non-cats before the connection) and the tribes living on parts of the mountains that are difficult to reach (and often had isolation tendencies themselves); the Skies were the near sole progenitors of feline-speech within the pidgin.
Being that this variant of trade-speech originated from the Rising Moon and the Old Kingdom of the Shining Sun, much of the canine influence came of the Silverfeathers skulk. The modern version has long since created a minor dialectal difference of Eastern vs. Western where the Western version of the tongue contains more vocabulary and quirks from the Grand Packs while the Eastern holds the Skulks’ influence.
The sounds and the written expressions of them adhere closest to Sivake as it was the skies who reached out first and held onto the information though it was the Skulks who introduced the concept of formal writing to them. Here are the consonants;
Tumblr media
And the standard vowels;
Tumblr media
As is standard for any pidgin, the hardest sound clusters from both languages were dropped. Because I’m still a bit new at this, I’m choosing to make that mean that the sounds that are either forbidden or are very different from the others are barred.
Phonetic Summary
Onset: m n p t k b d g h l ch sh f v s z x y ny
L Clusters: nl pl ml tl sl hl shl
K Clusters: nk mk lk pk sk
R Clusters: dr vr gr nr kr fr shr xr pr br lr
Nucleus: a e i o u
Coda: l n k sh s v g
A Cluster: aa ao
U Cluster: ue ua uo
I Cluster: ia
---
Part 2: Noun Class
---
Being that the pidgin is built from languages that all have noun classes, some are kept in this simplified version of it; the semi-animate is dropped from the skulks’ language, migrating everything important into the main two categories of animate and inanimate.
The markers from Sivake are used to confirm or deny animacy of a noun.
Animate - (i)he(m)
Inanimate - (i)hi(m)
---
Part 3: Grammatical Number
---
The paucal wasn’t necessary for understandings to be made and it was easier to merely convey “one of a thing” vs. “many of a thing” before fluid communication was developed and so; only a singular/plural distinction exists now.
---
Part 4: Tense, Aspect and Mood
---
As talks became more fluid and grammar straightened out, tense and aspect became to be addressed within the pidgin. For once, it is the kingdoms whose system is a tad simpler; having mostly only a past/non-past distinction with one additional tense commonly called the historical added to it. One the skulks’ side of things, not only do they have a recent and distal past tense but they also have one dedicated to the future.
When the tenses were straightened out; the language adopted three tenses - past, present and future with both languages dropping their distal tenses.
As for the aspects, the kingdoms gracefully traded their iterative aspect (which they use more or less to mean “again” or “a lot”) for the skulks’ habitual while also retaining their momentane aspect. On the skulks’ end, they dropped their resumptive aspect.
Tumblr media
It’s not a complex system - which is the goal - but the momentane is important to me. Anyway, let’s borrow sky-word for “to talk.”
Tumblr media
And for my own entertainment, here’s the skulk’s word for “to talk, speak” in the chart.
Tumblr media
Tacking onwards, the imperative mood is kept from Sivake -ro.
---
Part 5: Pronouns
---
This is where the most simplification comes in. The Skies were made to relinquish their grasp on their dependent pronouns; sticking only to the independent forms to smooth out communication. In addition; the divine pronouns never made to this pidgin as there was never any reason to use it in casual conversation and would only serve to make future communication more confusion and difficult if they were forcefully inserted. On top of that; Sivake also gave up their paucal pronouns to match the fact that they dropped it as a grammatical number leaving a rather concise handful of pronouns as a base:
Tumblr media
The only moderately complex thing about this wonderfully concise collection of pronouns is that the skulks’ inclusion of animacy on their own pronouns invaded these. When not speaking in first person, it’s common for the animacy agreement markers to be tagged to the ends of pronouns. While not exactly expected for second person, it’s considered mandatory on third-person pronouns.
Animate Second | Yahe, Hihe
Inanimate Second | Yahi, Hihi
Animate Third | Xihe, Elihe
Inanimate Third | Xihi, Elihi
The Skies weren’t the only ones making sacrifices regarding their referrals to others - the titles of the Skulks were imported but they were drastically condensed with some of their sounds changed to better fit the current sound-bank.
Haltun - leader, king/queen, crest
Fetun - deputy, prince/princess
Kel - hunter
Vera - healer
Tora - fighter, gladiator
Keshuma - matron, patron, nurse
Kiva - kit, youngling
Iten - elder
The speakers of the Skies are known to modify these terms with gender based attachments to add specification.
---
Part 6: Articles and Demonstratives
---
The articles and demonstratives are exempt from noun class agreement. The articles follow the Sky Kingdom’s association with only having a definite articles while leaving any indefinite articles unmarked.
Singular Definite - Ta
Plural Definite - Ba
The demonstratives on the other hand come from Kujhikoslan which has only a near/far distinction.
Near Demonstrative - Yel
Far Demonstrative - Sul
Final Note
Given that a vast majority of the talking was done by the Skies, the majority of the vocabulary for this pidgin turned creole is from Sivake albeit sometimes important words were replaced by the Kujhikoslan words when the Sky translation left them as unimportant. This is mostly apparent in words for birds and things related to them given their spiritual significance in the religion of the marrowed skulks.

DALBELLO KRYPTON $ PRO
Another cool thing about the Krypton is the 3-piece cabrio-style shell which is a bit different from the four-buckle overlap design found in a lot of other boot manufacturers. It's important to find the right balance for you. The narrower and stiffer the boot, the better and more responsive the performance while the wider and softer the boot, the more lag time shows up and performance suffers. As a result, ski boots become a blend of performance and comfort, and it's a sliding scale for sure. It's all about getting that input from your foot to the edges of the ski, and since the boot is the first piece of equipment that your body touches, it's imperative that it fits correctly for your foot. Ski boots are all about the transmission of energy, so the closer your foot ends up to the plastic, the better and more responsive the performance will be. Solid Lug Boot Sole - Provides maximum power transmission from boot to ski.Best suited for advanced and expert skiers with narrower than average feet, the Dalbello Krypton 120 ski boots are an awesome choice. Lower Hinge Point - A natural and smoother forward flex, key for skiers that ski off trail. This increases control and responsiveness. Dynalink Retention Systemĭynalink - A closure system that keeps the skier's foot from sliding around, and keeps the skier's heel locked into the heel pocket. These really help you to dial in your fit. Bucklesģ, F-500 Aluminum Micro-adjustable Buckles - Super durable with micro adjust. This liner is NOT body heat activated and needs to be heat molded on a Dalbello Intuition heater before use. Designed with High Density Ultralon Foam and a closed-toe forefoot design, this liner provides you with the ultimate performance fit.
DALBELLO KRYPTON $ PRO

Dragonspine lore
Just gathering all this in one place, for my reference.
Information about the Frostbearing Tree, from the Frostbearer catalyst:
When the daughter of the priestess of Vindagnyr was born beneath this white tree, the king in the verdant mountain was filled with joy when she received her blessings. Surely, the blessing of Sal Vindagnyr would be everlasting, just as the undying silver-white tree whose roots pierced the earth.
When the nail that froze the world descended suddenly, and that tree, too, would be shattered by it, that girl took the most complete branch, thinking to breathe new life into the tree that once overshadowed a nation.
But in the end, the grafted life could not flourish. The cutting snowstorm eventually covered the moonlight like a curtain of countless blades...
A long, long time later, yet still long ago - when the deathmatch between the dragons of darkness and wind was decided at last, when corrosive blood stained the ashen valley red, the tree, at last, remembered that it had not died with that entombed city,
And it extended its greedy roots towards the warm ichor that irrigated the land. And as a certain someone poured a crimson essence upon it, the tree that should have long died remembered its past, and bore a single fruit from the gathering of all its might...
Here for those who dwelt in my safe shadow, for the priests who eulogized me, for that lovely maiden who oft painted upon my form, for all the happiness they could not possess - I enjoin them all into this crimson, icy fruit.
To the ones who can render recompense upon this poisonous world shall it go, and may they carry my innocent, bitter fruit as they enact justice.
To summarize: Long before Durin, the Dragonspine was called Sal Vindagnyr. It was a prosperous, verdant kingdom that worshipped a Leyline tree. However, one day the Skyfrost Nail fell from the sky, breaking the tree and engulfing the mountain in perpetual ice. The last princess of the kingdom had preserved a single branch from the tree, which lay dormant until the mountain was tainted by Durin's blood. Absorbing the tainted blood, the former silver Leyline branch sprouted into a crimson Frostbearing Tree...
The Ancient Writings on the tablets:
"...far from snow and strife, and came upon this verdant paradise. A monument was laid down in this place, and it was named Sal Vind[agnyr]..."
"...guided to where the pale white tree stood. That month, the underground waterway..."
"...dreamed of the black dragon that blotted down the sun, and knew it to be an omen of doom. That same month, the outlander..."
"...its soul, and Starsilver its bones. But the one who could wield it, the ice-breaking outlander, Imunlau[kr]..."
"...attempted to heal the Leylines, but the tree had already withered. After burying the princess..."
"...without result or reply, Varuch proceeded on to the summit..."
"...snow whipped across the skies. The pillar that fell from the heavens was riven in three..."
"...ended. There is no more need for records. Yet I regret nothing more than having been unable to watch her finish the fresco within that great hall..."
To summarize: The people of Sal Vindagnyr tried to stop the perpetual snowstorm, including the king (named Varuch) heading to the summit himself. However, only an outlander named Imunlaukr was able to wield the Starsilver weapon they forged for this. He was too late, and the princess had already died. Somewhere along the way, the Skyfrost Nail was split into three pieces, which is how we find it.
From Snow-Tombed Starsilver, the claymore in question:
Tainted black blood dripped from the blade of his greatsword, as he trudged through now-foreign snowy paths.
But when he returned to the great hall of that mountain country, naught but ringing deathly echoes welcomed him.
"So even here, there is nothing left for me to protect... You who dwell in the heavens, you must wish for naught but to watch our ashen suffering here below. In that case, then let me help you pass the time with a song of iron and blood."
The outlander left the Starsilver originally meant to shatter snow and wind alike between the frescoes. Then, he descended the mountain to search for a land full of war and strife - a place he might paint red with blood.
Note that the Imunlaukr clan is also mentioned in the Sacrificial Greatsword description. They were a clan that sought battle in the belief that it would amuse the gods and joined the new Mondstadt that Venti created after Andrius melted the ice across the region. Interesting point: This is also the description that says, "On the cliff facing the eastern sea, the ancestors worshiped the masters of Time and Anemo together." It also again brings up "brave warriors stained black with blood."
Purely speculating, Sal Vindagnyr was probably BEFORE the rebellion in Old Mondstadt (they are mentioned fleeing "snow and strife" to settle in Vindagnyr, which sounds like Mondstadt pre-Andrius unfreezing it and the Archon Wars, respectively). So the founding clan perhaps picked up these traditions of "fight for Celestia's amusement" from this specific dude after he left Dragonspine.
There's also this image of the inner chamber and the frescoes that the princess had been painting, which I saved from a tweet that doesn't seem to exist anymore (not mine):
Tumblr media
Completely irrelevant small point: The eight letters outside the great hall which you have to make light up spell "veremini," which wiktionary tells me is second-person plural present active indicative or imperative of "vereor," which means "to revere" or "to dread."
Aside from this, there is a series of Ruin Guard remains which spell out, "For the nation, we can't forgo this skyborne power, but we failed." We know the Ruin Guards were created by Khaenri’ah, so they were probably sent to retrieve the Skyfrost Nail after Sal Vindagnyr had fallen but were unable to make it through the ice and snow.
Most of this isn't particularly relevant to the main storyline, but there are two points that link back to the ongoing themes:
Even though this was before the Cataclysm, Gold, and Durin, Imunlaukr fought something with "tainted black blood," so the whole business with tainting is OLD. Gold wasn't the origin as such, they just used it. Imunlaukr particularly seems to have thought that going the Abyss (assumed) might have some answers re: the Skyfrost Nail.
Both the Frostbearing Tree and Imunlaukr consider what happened to Sal Vindagnyr to be unjust, and Celestia's fault. Now, this might be just their bitterness at what feels like meaningless suffering, but it could also be that the Skyfrost Nail didn't fall on them accidentally. (AKA Khaenri'ah was not the first or only case of human nations getting slapped down by the divine.)

KRS-One - “Ah Yeah!”  Critical Analysis by Hakeem Ture
Tumblr media
“If hip hop has the power to corrupt young minds, it also has the ability to uplift them.” - KRS-One
The musician is a natural master of vibration and emotion. Many musicians have been able to make us dance. Many have been able to draw on relatability because nobody is the only person like them in the world. Perhaps some have even made us cry or provided soundtracks for intimate moments. Only few musicians have taken on the task of socially and historically educating their listeners through their music.
Even fewer have been able to combine the mastery of teaching with mastery of rhythm. Those who do this become legends like; Nate King Cole, B.B. King, Nina Simone, Bob Marley, Chaka Khan and Fela Kuti’ and their influence lives throughout generations. In 1995 Krs-One released a self-titled album that came in the sunset of his reign. His career would mirror the sepia filter of the album cover.
This album had dominant auras of militancy and rebellion that Krs-One fans had not heard since Boogie Down Productions - Criminal Minded. Krs-One was able to both appease his day one fans and gain the younger generation of Hip Hoppers who were listening to artists such as: Nas, Redman,Das Efx, Tupac, and A Tribe Called Quest. The message and timing of this album may have been divine. Let us look at the historical events of the year(s) Krs-One was creating this album in. In 1994, the United States congress had successfully completed the first step of becoming fascist by Voting to Censure Dr. Khalid Muhammad, National Advisor of the Nation of Islam. Bill Clinton and Joe Biden led Democrats to pass the The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act and effectively fueled the prison industrial complex. South Africa held it first election since intergrating with the apartheid government and Invisble Man author Ralph Ellison had passed. Hip Hop was the soul vehicle of expression to protest the genocide that had been going on and KRS One was one of its leaders. The youth looked toward this leader to deliver an album reflective of their mindstate and he delivered.
Imperative of a classic work of musical art, this album is composed of multiple great songs, but in my opinion the cornerstone song of the album is undeniably “Ah Yeah”. In this song he masterfully uses three 16 bar verses to empower and mobilize his listener much in the same way Dr. Khalid Muhammad did. This track starts with the establishment of an a capella warcry. He writes in response to western power’s having done such an incredible job destroying the rebel instinct that Afrikan people possess by publicly shaming our leaders and traditions. These lyrics are him trying to raise the psyche of a fallen warrior class and put revolt back in its holy place as opposed to the negative connotation that has been applied by the white power structure.  He essentially made a chant-like hook with an underlying message of “This is your enemy, This is how to handle him, and THIS is okay”. The aim focuses on  redirecting the accumulated anger of a traduced peoples that is often mistargeted toward self so that we may be collectively progresssive.
He bellows:
“Ah yeah, that's whatcha say when you see a devil down
Ah yeah, that's whatcha say when you take the devil's crown
Ah yeah, stay alive all things will change around
Ah yeah, what? Ah yeah!”
Then comes the establishment of an eerie bass line. This song structure is familiar to fans of his earlier work. It was what they were longing for. For a few albums he took the perspective of being in the classroom or office as opposed to in the battlefield with his men. He had returned to fight with us like Haile Selassie. Immediately he establishes a dual level of respect. One with his men and one with his deterrent.
“So here I go kickin' science in ninety-five
I be illin', parental discretion is advised still
Don't call me nigga, this MC goes for his
Call me God, cause that's what the black man is
Roamin' through the forest as the hardest lyrical artist
Black women you are not a bitch you're a Goddess
Let it be known, you can lean on KRS-One
Like a wall cause I'm hard, I represent God”
In the first 2 bars of the preceding excerption he lets us know he intends to drop some knowledge, but it will not be filtered for political correctness or comfortability. The following 2 bars he establishes both a tone of encounterment and identity. Then he goes on to explain from which direction he came much like Saint Maurice's appearance upon the plagued people of Europe to let them know he has navigated and he is no spook. He goes on to talk to his listener and the most important of them, the women.
In 1994, fresh off a press tour on which she gained popularity from criticizing Bill Clinton, Sister Souljah published her first book that was heralded by black scholars and youth alike entitled No Disrespect. Her Influence was cemented in the minds of black youth and played a huge role in raising generational consciousness by dealing with topics like “how the black woman is viewed by black men” and “the black woman’s role in repairing the black family structure”. She had solely been awarded leadership duties by a disregarded demographic in a scapegoated culture and was handling it with the grace of Misty Copeland.  Her and the women she raised to consciousness needed the camaraderie of Krs One. He goes on to sell to himself:
“Wack MC's have one style: gun buck
But when you say, "Let's buck for revolution"
They shut the fuck up, can't get with it
Down to start a riot in a minute
You'll hear so many Bowe-Bowe-Bowe, you think I'm Riddick
While other MC's are talkin' bout up with hope down with dope
I'll have a devil in my infrared scope,”
In the first five bars he addresses the enemies of the oppressed people within the oppressed people. These “Wack MC’s” are the Uncle Toms’ and Judas of the rebellious, afro-centric movement that is Hip-Hop. He says they lack discipline and do not have the self awareness to rescue themselves. In comparison with himself who uses that energy toward an ultimate goal, Independence through revolution. In the succeeding excerption KRS briefly displays the cognitive processing and coping mechanism of a warrior:
“WOY
That's for calling my father a boy and, klak, klak, klak
That's for putting scars on my mother's back, BO
That's for calling my sister a ho, and for you
Buck, buck, buck  cause I don't give a motherfuck
Remember the whip, remember the chant
Remember the rope and
You black people still thinkin' about voting?
Every President we ever had lied!
You know, I'm kinda glad Nixon died.”
Throughout the preceding excerption KRS skillfully uses onomatopoeias to create a setting for his listener. There is a battle going on. Shells casings are falling to the ground and bullets are flying from high caliber weapons. He is in the thick of it and then an enemy approaches him. He musters the courage to engage with his assailant by remembering the suffrage the morals of his enemies’ elected nation-state has caused his ancestors. Then he rejoices in the death of one of their leaders, Richard Nixon.
In the second verse Krs-One addresses an age-old topic of discussion for spiritual people that was brought forth to the Afrikans of today by Noble Drew Ali, “The Prophetic Soul”. This belief dates back to ancient Buddhism in the caves of Asia taught to us by Dr. Ivan Van Sertima in his book “African Presence in Early Asia”. This belief entails that all the prophets of the world including but not limted to; Adam, Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad, and himself were the same soul being reborn until its mission is completed.” Krs-One puts himself and a couple others in this divine line of being.
“This is not the first time I came to the planet
concern every time I come, only a few could understand it
I came as Isis, my words they tried to ban it
I came as Moses, they couldn't follow my Commandments
I came as Solomon, to a people that was lost
I came as Jesus, but they nailed me to a cross
I came as Harriet Tubman, I put the truth to Sojourner
Other times, I had to come as Nat Turner
They tried to burn me, lynch me and starve me
So I had to come back as Marcus Garvey, Bob Marley
They tried to harm me, I used to be Malcolm X
Now I'm on the planet as the one called KRS
Kickin' the metaphysical, spiritual, tryin' to like
Get with you, showin' you, you are invincible
The Black Panther is the black answer for real
In my spiritual form, I turn into Bobby Seale
On the wheels of steel, my spirit flies away
And enters into Kwame Ture”
In the beginning of the third verse he briefly continues the theme of possessing The Prophetic Soul but now, he does not speak from a perspective of being the people who had the soul. He speaks from the perspective of the soul. This soul is traveling and looking for a host. In the first two bars he speaks of how he was able to travel without detection from the government’s surveillance. Then, he goes on to finally choose a host that is relevant to the demographic of people it intends to reach. This host is stylish and his image is relatable, so the people will be receptive of his message through familiarity.
“In the streets there is no EQ, no di-do-di-do-di-do
So I grab the air and speak through the code
The devil cannot see through as I unload
Into another cerebellum
Then I can tell em, because my vibes go through denim
And leather whatever, however, I'm still rockin”
After the prophetic soul latches on to the host, KRS-One, it manifests purpose with grassroot organization and motivational speaking. Being KRS-One founded the Stop the Violence Movement in 1988 and was solely responsible for mobilizing many of the most influential Hip Hoppers against Gang Violence and Culture he had plenty of knowledge to give on the topic.
“We used to pick cotton, now we pick up cotton when we shoppin'
Have you forgotten why we buildin' in a cypher
Yo hear me kid, government is building in a pyramid
The son of God is brighter than the son of man
The spirit is, check your dollar bill G, here it is
We got no time for fancy mathematics
Your mental frequency frequently pickin' up static
Makin' you a naked body, addict and it's democratic
They press auto, and you kill it with an automatic”
Too often credit for the creation and establishment of a culture or society is given to one person as opposed to being evenly distributed amongst the support structure. How many times have you been taught the legacy of all the men that signed the declaration of independence? It is likely that you’ve only been taught about Thomos Jefferson. Just like there would be no Fidel Castro without the parallel influences of Che Guevara and Camilo Ceinfuegos there would be no Hip-Hop without KRS ONE. Perhaps without his tenacity, passion, and will it would have been infiltrated and exploited before it reached its full maturity. If that would have happened America would not have its current number one export. In his prime most consumers who listened to his message and gazed upon his image said “OH NO!”  from fear of what they could not understand. Today, we look at his legacy of art and effort and cant help ,but smile and yell “AH YEAH!”.
It was what they were longing for. first kr series i watched n i didnt do a good long text post about it!
man shinji is still my favorite protag, he’s such a strong character and such a dumbass at the same time. i LOVE how when yui was threatening to kill herself to stop the fighting and ren was saying that he would use the fighting to force a new life for her, shinji was on her side, saying we should consider her feelings and to what she wants, a true feminist icon. he considers the feelings of others so strongly that when he wanted to close the mirror world, he started to see what the others were fighting for and thought to himself that he didnt have the right to dismiss their reasons to fight (ren wanted to bring his gf back from a coma and kitaoka not wanting to die). he is very empathetic, it shows in his introduction when he is disputing a traffic incident he wasnt even involved in lmaoo and is present throughout the whole show. it’s sadly his “downfall” as he tries to take on all the problems everyone has- he wears himself thin and doubts himself multiple times, but honestly i think that trait of his is very strong.
Tumblr media
him becoming a rider by chance is really on point of him lol i really love that he shaped this into his purpose as a rider “to protect people, including riders.” he truly wanted the fighting to stop and at the end and even finally brought up the resolve to close the mirror world, knowing it will displease others, but.. ya know whats happens at the end... :’)
Tumblr media
ren....number one asshole 2nd rider.. what else can i say.
Tumblr media
he frustrated me, because he was so mean n closed off to shinji for such a long time lol (everything that i love in a character) it’s hard to fault him when he’s as self sacrificing as shinji (to a degree.. lmao). he only fights for eri and tries to overcome the hurdle of killing and he ultimately cant when it comes down to it, it’s great to see the limits of his conviction, of course he doesnt have it in him to kill, he’s one of our heroes after all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
;_;
Tumblr media
he really showed how much he valued shinji’s friendship at the end, to go from not bothering to understand shinji’s moral dilemma, to fully understanding where he is coming from, it’s the resolution of their friendship.  i cannot speak what happened in the last two episodes lol i cry!
uuuuu these two....THEY!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
god did kitaoka grow on me lol, he was such a bastard; made shinji believed he killed someone, thinks he’s hot/smart, and thinks his better than others and above them in terms of class. then once you learn that hes dying and is going to die very soon, it really changes your perspective on him, especially since no one knows it (shinji does, like the day before the huge fight iirc).
Tumblr media
it’s such an easy thing to dismiss him, when he’s actually interesting if you look hard enough. even if he’s been haughty seemingly all his life, goro has really changed his life. when he’s at last days all he talks about is how goro is going to fine without him.. ;_;
Tumblr media
kitaoka isnt a hero, because to him becoming a hero is when you lose; he doesnt go and save goro because of the possibility of dying, he’s too afraid of dying and he’s supposed to be all about himself, so his wish is for immortality (though im assuming that’s a front considering how bad his illness is wrecking his body, he just wants to live). he even says to asakura that he wishes that he could be like him, free to act as he pleases without concern for his actions. i wonder what was his dream in the past that he gave it up a long time ago (prob living forever with goro) and what is his hidden hobby haha also the irony of the sick and dying man having the strongest attack and the biggest weapons *chef’s kiss*
oh, aaannnndddd ive already said this but, favorite suit from ryuki
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i do like the other riders too; gai is the ultimate bastard (a gamer lol), his death was purely to show that we are heading towards the end. tiger hit me hard emotionally (displayed ryuki’s themes), his twisted idea of what is a hero is what we think of in all honestly. we often go “they have suffered so much!! they’re my hero!! ;A;” and tiger twists that into “i have to kill my father-figure and my only friend so i can suffer and become a hero!” it makes his death have so much impact as he acts on an impulse to save a random father and son since they reminded him of the professor.
imperer and raia are great too, raia... he... i love him.. in another lifetime i think he and shinji are happy :’’’) as well as tezuka’s bf. sano............. pain.... ryuki is pain....
yeah... ryuki is fucked up with its message daring to state that a “hero” isnt someone who suffers the most, a hero is someone who believes in themselves and decides what’s right from wrong. <-- a thing i kinda miss in recent riders, but the obvious choice of right and wrong is an easier thing to write.
of course special mention to asakura, too horny to live
Tumblr media Tumblr media
what a change in the mood of the story, riders were now being killed, and the mirror world monsters are now getting stronger. he fights because he loves it, kills because he can, theres nothing to it, it’s just the excitement of the fight and that’s why i love him. a simple character with simple motivations and yet he’s my all time favorite villain lmao
i end my talk about my favorite kamen rider series with the most beautiful shots of the series
Tumblr media Tumblr media
yui deserved better, the fact that the series ends with her accepting her death as a child and choosing to stay in the mirror world for the sake of the other riders and her brother... whoah..
