ANIPLEX.EXE and iMel announce visual novel Tanetsumi no Uta for PC
From Gematsu
Publisher ANIPLEX.EXE and developer iMel have announced Tanetsumi no Uta, a new visual novel written by Kazumi of STUDIO HOMMAGE. It will launch for PC in 2024 with English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language support.
Here are the first details, via the official website:
Story
Misuzu lost her mother at a young age. In the summer of 2023, a girl visits Misuzu on her 16th birthday. It was her 16 year-old mother, Yoko.
The “Tanetsumi Ritual” is held in the “Land of the the Eternal,” where the gods reside. Yoko, who was chosen as its priestess, tells Misuzu that she came from 1996 to invite her to be a companion on her journey.
The Tanetsumi Ritual” is a funeral of gods, which is necessary for the immortality of the gods to pass between generations and into a new age. The “Tanetsumi Priestess” goes around the Land of the Eternal with the duty of convincing the leaders of the old gods to accept death before the “True Winter” that defiles the earth arrives.
Invited by Yoko, Misuzu goes to 2050, where Misuzu’s own 16-year-old daughter Tsumugi joins them and they head to the Land of the Eternal.
Together with Hiruko, who appears to be a pilot and introduces himself as Misuzu’s younger brother, the four travel through poetically-inspired lands where True Winter approaches.
What outcome awaits Misuzu and her miraculous gathering of companions at the end of their time travel journey…?

actually the funniest thing about this whole Soma nonsense is that i fully expected there would be boatloads of content. like dont get me wrong theres more of him than there is of like ok*dera and minami and stuff but. idk i thought there would be a dedicated Soma Kazuki fandom churning out art on the regular but instead his tag just has a bunch of my pathetic memes all in a row and then lower down like 2 artists and a lot of xreader stuff. what went wrong he had the potential to be the next tumblr sexyman.
!NEW!
Revue in Kyoto| Go to the Future 2023
This November, OSK Revue will present a new show "Revue in Kyoto" at the Kyoto Minami-za Theater.
The performances are from 11th to 19th November.
@cats-and-hydrangea requested that I update my last top star prediction post (some of which has in fact been rendered a bit funny) which I will do, again, with the caveats that:
we all remember that in Takarazuka the rules are made up and the points don’t matter
no one @’s me about my hunches!!
🌸 No change since my last prediction; Visa girl Towaki Sea will be the next top, and she will be top long enough either for Seino Asuka to succeed her or be swapped in a transfer for someone similarly aged.
🌙 I honestly don't know?? Kazama Yuno will be a top star, and if we believe in the assumption that the World's Fair troupe reps can't be transferred before 2025, she's also not going anywhere. But whether or not Tsukishiro Kanato can make it that long is a different story (I'm guessing no). I think there's a wildcard opportunity to throw someone in between them, and I don't think it'll be Houziki An. If you wanna form a prayer circle for Minami Maito go ahead.
I also think Umino Mitsuki is going to retire on the show thats like DEEP SEA AND THE SEA GODS or whatever it's called (because, you know, Umi), and Reiko will get a second wife. I both hope and think it will be Irodori Michiru.
❄️ Asami Jun -> Kazuki Sora?? I hope?? Wouldn't be surprised if they pulled some shit in Yukigumi but that's my guess assuming they don't. I think whoever's next will inherit Yumeshiro Aya.
⭐ This went from ?????? to super clear. Akatsuki Chisei is next, although I still think Rei Makoto is going to stick around AT LEAST through sports day 2024 to bring that trophy home to her Mama Reon.
🌌 Unchanged; still hoping for AND (fingers crossed) predicting Serika Toa -> Sakuragi Minato. That'll occupy so much time it's not worth trying to predict who's in line thereafter; although it is worth noting that they passed over Takato Chiaki for Kazeiro Hyuuga as the Fair rep so Kotti may be a transfer candidate.
I also really hope Jun Hana stays for Kiki but who knows.
