Would you rather: destroy a 100 monokumas or rescue 50 survivors?
100 Monokumas:
If you destroy 100 Monokumas, then that's 100 less Monokuma's out there attacking people! That'll save people in the long run!
That's a pretty simple thought process, though I don't disagree with it this time. You can save 50 people instantly and call it a day, but take away what's actually doing the killing and who knows how many people you'd save by doing so?
Indeed. It's the same reason countries brought in gun control of knife amnesties. Taking away the weapon will reduce fatalities.
50 People
Can say that all you want, but with how many Monokumas are already out there, you're probably better just saving 50 people. Monokumas aren't hand-held weapons. They operate by themselves. Even if you eliminate 100, another 100 will just take their place.
Got that right. The speed they produce those things is fuckin' nuts. It's better to just save the people and deal with the Monokumas later.
Yeah...even if you eliminate Monokuma's, it doesn't provide survivors with safe havens. I'd rather go with saving people as well.
For some reason 10H gives me flashbacks to the mock accident PSA I did in highschool where I got all fake-bloodied up and afterward had a coupon for an orange smoothie while I was waiting to get picked up so IDK what Kiyo is doing here but thats the vibe
Hi!!! Do you have any trans hcs for the v3 kids :O
I have a few!! More than I thought actually- I was planning on doodling something for this and then I realized there were just too many, so here they are:
Kaede: Transfem • she/her
Rantaro: Transmasc genderqueer • any pronouns
Korekiyo: When asked Korekiyo probably just says he's a guy, but if given the opportunity to elaborate, his gender takes a few minutes to explain properly. • he/they/neopronouns of some variety
Gonta: Genuinely. Probably doesn't care too much outside of the fact that to him, part of being a gentleman is being a man. • he/him mostly but they/them is fine
Miu: Cis+. She's not trans but she uses she/they pronouns
Kokichi: Changes every time you ask him. In reality probably doesn't really care. • He/they/so many neopronouns
Kiibo: Hasn't really thought about it. Now that you've brought it up he will be having a crisis for the next few weeks. • he/they
Tsumugi: Genderfluid • she/her is always fine but additional ones change by the day
Maki: Transfem • she/her
Shuichi: THE transmasc of all time. • he/him
IMPORTANTLY! Kaito is also cis+ and is the most supportive trans ally you'll meet. Cis guy wearing a shirt that says "ask me about my pronouns" and when asked will excitedly tell you they're he/him vibes. He is very special to me
Has anybody ever snuck out of their cabins to go sleep with someone else in another cabin?
Short answer: Yes!
Usually most of them have the decency to not fuck or such while their roommates are in the room, But people do leave their rooms to sleep in the same bed as someone else
Exhibit A:
But there always is the off chance of them actually "sleeping" together
Silly little doodle for @g0nta-g0kuhara based on their hc about Kiyo’s pyjamas! I add onto that that he has a billion pillows and has a space heater right beside the bed. (We love an overheating king /j)
I rlly hope this isn't against your rules but..can i propose to korekiyo with a plastic toy ring?? Aaa i was so scared to click "ask" 😭😭
(≧◡≦) ♡ marry me korekiyo!!
a/n: bestie I got no rules except no nsfw asks, you're good! Also I was promising my event, so sorry this is late!
gn!reader, poc!reader friendly always mwah
_________ ׂׂૢ་༘࿐
He's... amused. So say the least. But, like, why? He'll marry you, sure. In this timeline, he's in the process of healing with your help and the other's, but why propose to him with a plastic ring when he could at least be proposed to with a haribo instead? Jeez, he could eat it after at the very least! All jokes aside, I feel like he'd have a ring of his own that has a story and symbol behind it, so he'll lend it to you so you can re-propose to him properly.
Korekiyo: My love, perhaps you'd like this ring to propose to me with instead.
You take the ring wordlessly and re-propose.
Korekiyo, tearing up: Oh, oh my goodness! Of course I'll marry you, [name]!
I'm sorry for what I'm about to do but I kinda have 3 questions all in one ask? Sorry lol 1. How r both of yall doing? 2. Do either of yall speak a language other than English 3. Korekiyo, what is your opinion on people headcanoning you as autistic? Kk that will be all :)
We’re doing mostly alright and have just been somewhat busy with an online summer class. As for speaking another language, unfortunately we aren’t fluent in anything other than English however we do know a significant amount of Japanese. Sure we aren’t 100% fluent and are much better at understanding and reading Japanese than we are speaking it, but it’s still close enough to somewhat count. And finally I love that headcanon as I am indeed autistic, with cultural anthropology being one of my special interests.
To what would have been class 80, would you have preferred to have been at Hopes Peak when the tragedy came or wherever you were
Angie believes she mentioned it before, but her island has remained untouched by the tragedy thanks to the protection of Kami-sama. Angie would be safer home, but Kami-sama believes Angie has a part to play in saving the rest of the world.
You mean would Gonta prefer it if I was at Hope's Peak when the tragedy began?
...no. After seeing the results of the attack on Hope's Peak...no, Gonta is happy he wasn’t there.
I was travelling around for my performances at the time, so it would have been nice to be somewhere with a proper bed...even if only for a few more weeks.
Even if I saw a lot of...unhappy sights, I got to meet Maki-chan by being out there during the tragedy, so I wouldn’t change it.
I...got to be with my grandparents when they passed. Even if it was painful, I’d feel worse if I couldn’t be with them when it happened.
Thinking logically, I would have liked the opportunity to be at the Future Foundation from the very start of the tragedy rather than worrying about finding charging ports for myself after the power in the lab went out.
Similarly to Kiibo-kun’s answer. I think I could have contributed much more to the effort had I been at the Future Foundation to start with. With that in mind, I would have liked the chance by being in one of the groups that were rescued at Hope’s Peak.
Why would I want that? That was a place that got attacked specifically. The carnage was unlike anything else. It was pretty much the catalyst event for the tragedy to really take shape outside of the riots beforehand. Would you wanna be at the eye of the storm?
Truthfully I always had a problem with the events at Hope’s Peak, and I find it to be a genuine criticism of the Future Foundation. Why was Hope’s Peak the only place in Japan to receive any kind of rescue service? Politicians had their own private shelters though they did not last very long- but Hope’s Peak students were given special assistance, likely because the chairman was an alumni. I don’t think I could graciously accept such help should I have been present.
...There’s no scenario in which He and I could have attended Hope’s Peak together. I’m not actually the Ultimate Child Caregiver after all and only one of us could carry the Ultimate Assassin title. So...I suppose I’m okay with not being there.
You kidden me?! Because I was out there in the wild I got made to do crappy stuff for those asshole despairs! Of course I’d wanna be at Hope’s Peak instead!
I was abroad at the time looking for my sisters somewhere. It’s what I was doing all the way up until Kurosaki-kun contacted me. I plan on doing the same thing once it’s all over. So, no. I wouldn’t have wanted to have been at Hope’s Peak.
Despite what you might think, the prison I was in was alright for a while after the Tragedy began. Only reason I didn’t die when the prison eventually fell was because it wouldn’t be right for someone like me to be killed by even bigger lowlifes than myself.
No...I have no idea if I would’ve survived the attack on Hope’s Peak. But I managed to survive living outside that whole time. There’s no reason to wish for my circumstances to be different, even if they were difficult.
Someone as plain as me definitely would have ended up as a background body during the attack on Hope’s Peak. There’s no way I would’ve have preferred to have been there!
Would you do Korekiyo in f3? Match with Kokichi 👉👈
who wore it better
“So?” Kokichi’s voice slices through the comfortable silence between them.
“So,” Kiyo echoes back, still a bit lost to the standing mirror before them.
“So, what do you think! It’s definitely different for you,” Ouma chirps, pacing from side-to-side with arms outstretched. It both draws attention and keeps his balance; it takes effort to be flippant. “You sure you’re not gonna break out in hives from Olive Green Deficiency? It’s not like we’d really know!”
Kiyo turns to face him, blinking away the thoughts clouding his reflection. Kokichi steps back, smiling as much as ever. “I think it’s. Suitable. The cardigan is nice, it’s.” Soft, in a way that uniform was not. Kind, in a way withheld from you until now.
“Definitely in the ‘maybe’ pile, it is easier than the straightjackets, but DICE has got an aesthetic, you know? I still think you oughtta join once I’m recruiting again,” Kokichi leans on the wall, weight concentrated on his left arm. “, , I can look for a longer skirt, if it’s bothering y–”
“No.”
They are equally surprised by the interjection for vastly different reasons.
“No, I mean. I’d like to wear this one. ‘Try something different’, yes?” Something you wouldn’t have been allowed t–
“'Course! That is why I said it,” Kokichi teases. He doesn’t skip a beat. “Besides, we’re totally twinning! No worries about people staring at you, they’ll be staring at us.”
So, you may or may not have seen, I've been posting Dangaronpa Ghost Photos as a daily october drawing and writing challenge
This is just a collection of asks about them, and I'll be posting a little breakdown of my thought process behind each character tomorrow
But first, the most pressing question:
I'm afraid not, it's just gonna be THH and SDR2
but I do appreciate the enthusiasm👍!
I'll be honest, I kinda ran dry on the ideas front.
It might be different if I'd planned it all out in advance, but since v3 isn't a direct sequel, it doesn't slot in as neatly with the prev 2 games. I'd have had to do a lot more juggling to fit it in and I hate to admit it, but I was already starting to repeat myself a little bit.
There's always next year tho perhaps...
Rest of the asks below!
oho! (referencing Chiaki's photo)
you certainly did see what I did there
It was honestly a toss up between that, and sonic.exe which would have been HILARIOUS.
(also not sure if anyone caught the ref to one of my fave youtubers)
Fair point,
Well we know what happens when you break ALL of them,
But if you break a few all at once I think it'd the first option.
They won't come for you at the exact same time though, the haunts cascade, one after the other depending on when you broke the rule, and how fast the ghost haunts you.
I did try to make most of the rules things that'd probably get you in trouble anyway if you were caught, but there's gonna be that one unlucky fecker who accidentally throws a new pen away and gets their ass ghost stalked by Nagito, no idea of what's going on.
@cat0901h3 Originally I was going to include a bit with Makoto as the headteacher The idea was that Junko lured you into the headteacher's office to kill you THERE, essentially framing Makoto, and starting up her whole campaign of despair again.
I decided to leave it more ambiguous instead like the ending of THH, and have Junko be your unreliable narrator instead
Course this au crumbles a little if you look too hard since the sdr2 lot are actually dead and not in a simulation (and I did not plan this lol) I like to think of it like a Battle Royale situation. Junko set up the killing games but it never got outside Hope's Peak, it was kept under wraps. there wasn't an actual apocalypse.
In this scenario I do see Makoto as the headteacher, he'd probably know about the hauntings, hence why there are school policies in place that match the 'rules', I figure Hiro helps out a fair bunch working out the haunting parameters, they're trying to help their friends rest in peace.
thanks so much! super glad you like! Working fast was what I was most known for in school lol, it helps if I've got a solid visual in mind, otherwise I can meander with the best of them.
AHH?? THANkS SO MUCH! I'm so pleased folk liked them! I've gotta admit when I started I was like 'ha ha this'll be a laugh' and halfway through it was very much 'WRITING IS HARD' Lord, pour one out to the fanfic authors, I cannot do what they do!
Thanks so much! it really makes my day to see folk waiting for the next one :) Hope celeste lived up to your expectations ;)
Sorry for leaving these too late to answer!
I didn't want to stop and answer in between the dangantober posts in case I lost momentum
But I wanted to acknowledge it, I'm pleased I sparked your interest! :)
[EDIT this ask came literally as I pushed post]
@emberz7 AH!! Thanks so so much! I'm blown away to hear that folk were actually spooked! A little creepy vibe was definitely was I was going for
I think I like Chiaki's picture the most, I just really like how it came out with the screenshot vibe.
In terms of story, honestly Sayaka's it was the one that inspired me to start the whole thing, and at the beginning it was the only one I had! I think it's also the most robust in terms of flow, it feels like an actual ghost story someone might tell.
Also, I see you, you absolute GEMS who reblogged each one?? and left tags??? you don't know how much that means to me
not gonna lie that's a big reason why I didn't run out of steam sooner
<3
