Dear all,

We thought we could outrun the pandemic, but unfortunately it caught up with us.

The 2021 september and october tourdates w/ Jo Quail will be postponed to april 2022, and your tickets will automatically transfer to the new date (or you can apply for a refund). Unfortunately the situation of our Japanese friends in envy is still unclear, and they will not be able to make it.

We are extremely eager to get back out there again, and have some good news too. It simply has been too long and we want to take the opportunity to still visit all of you in september/october 2021, be it in AMENRA's ACOUSTIC form, following restrictions where necessary. There will be replacement ACOUSTIC shows scheduled for your city/region for sept/oct 2021. Let us come together again. In the flesh.

For all dates tickets will go on sale on Thursday July 15th.

AMENRA SHARE "VOOR IMMER" MUSIC VIDEO

Announce Livestream Event Happening June 27th. // Their new album De Doorn is out June 25th on Relapse Records.

Amenra share the official “Voor Immer” music video from the impending Relapse debut full-length De Doorn (June 25). Watch (+ share) the video on YouTube.

Additionally, Amenra announce a livestream event celebrating the release of De Doorn. The fire ritual will commence on June 27 at 8pm CET. More info and tickets are available here.

Amenra vocalist Colin H. van Eeckhout comments:

“What you lose in the fire, you will find in the ashes”

"Voor Immer” (“For Ever”) was one of the first songs we have written for De Doorn. We played it for the very first time in 2018 on the city square of Dixmude, West Flanders Belgium. Accompanied by the carillon, its bells a typical instrument from Belgium and the low countries, we connected the earth with the sky. It was initially written for a commemoration ceremony of the ending of the first world war.

Images of widows and mothers bereft of their sons. Destroyed cities and whom was left to die. Finding strength and courage to rebuild what once was there, without what was theirs.

The last time we played it live was in Menen, West Flanders Belgium end 2019. That night we gathered and burnt all our unacknowledged loss. Revealing by fire the 20feet high bronze Amenra statue glowing red, a symbol of hope.

This is a song about finding that hope, the strength to carry on. Its content ever present in the world today.

"to fall and to rise

under merciless skies

light and grace

lines marring a mothers face

wounds inflicted by love

scarring our skin

here and above

our home. blemish on the land

cuts fading to the softest trace

outstretched. a beggars hand

one last poem

and letters unread

it ends here. and weighs us

Cette version de la Péché Mortel a été brassée avec de vraies framboises, puis élevée en barrique de bourbon durant plusieurs mois.

- Solstice d'hiver

Cette bière d’hiver de couleur acajou propose des arômes complexes de fruits, d’alcool et de houblons. En bouche, elle est légèrement sucrée et liquoreuse, avec une pointe de caramel brûlé. Très amère, son profil d’arômes rappelle celui des fruits rouges. Le houblon s’exprime abondamment en finale.

Microbrasserie Pit Caribou

- Vin d'orge Américain

Du haut de ses 90 IBU, ce vin d'orge est brassé avec une grande concentration d'orge fumée au bois de cerisier. Vieillie trois mois en fermenteur et houblonnée à froid avec le délicieux Nelson sauvin, cette bière est excellente pour accompagner un steak sur le grill, un saumon fumé ou tout simplement devant un feu de bois avec un bon tabac à pipe.

- Caribou Sure no.6

Ale surie en fermenteur aux fraises d'automne de la ferme bordages en Gaspésie et un soupcon de pommes grenade.
