What I learned from the Express highly differs in Teyvat in terms of how not only faith, but the whole system comes to operate. Hu Tao in my head is about as close of a Guardian as you can find, outside of those Adepti figures anyways. It has something to do with these Ley Lines.. More or less, the blood vessels of how this world does it's thing.

So ensuring that souls are doing well seems to fall into her handiwork within Liyue. It kind of explains how compared to other nations, there's a whole lot less strife in this matter. Yet! It feels like she seldom wants to make a point of it. I know having a good time is one thing, but there's no harm in wearing the airs of your hard work a bit either.
