Ziggy and Dillion have a dynamic that work for each other, their on another level that Flynn, Scott, and Summer lack between the three of them which. They actually seem to care and give a damn about each other and having one another's back.

Dillion is LITERALLY the only on on Ziggy's side, and backs him up 100% and is the only one who seems to believe in him when the others don't (even when Dr K comes around in the end but still...)

Their aesthetic together works really well together~ Every time they are on screen together, your eyes immediately go to them.

If you could rewrite any season of PR or any of their characters which would they be and why?

Ok but the first thing that came to mind was I'd change Dino Super Charge's ending but the literal only difference would be Koda and Ivan stay in the present 😂😂😂😭

After thinking it over... I think the biggest thing I'd change would be making all the Mystic Force rangers related. Every day I'm sad that they arent a family like in Magiranger, and I think it would have helped it all feel less Nick focused if everyone had equal stakes in the narrative. PLUS pr hasnt had a team of all relatives yet and it would be a really fun dynamic to explore (make the music shop a family business. Boom. 10x cuter)

Not one photo of H&M with Ziggy Marley, whose wife (Bob Marley: One Love Executive Producer) Orly Agai Marley happens to be a former WME Vice President.

I don't think there could be a stronger statement that no one in Jamaica cared that Harold and Rachel were even there. Ziggy Marley, Bob's eldest son, stayed away even though he was seen there (far right, from this article). If the presence of the Harkles was supposedly such a big deal, you would think a photo op would be great publicity for the film.

It turns out that Ziggy's wife Orly Marley was a major player at William Morris, working her way up to Director of Talent Sponsorships and Vice President. She left WME in 2006 to manage Ziggy's career.

Orly Marley is the EXECUTIVE PRODUCER of the film, along with Brad Pitt and two other major HW producers. I have zero doubt, based on this article, that she keeps in contact with all her old associates, including those at WME and within the Hollywood gossip machine.

Did someone at WME call in a favor to her? Was their trip to Jamaica a PR move directed by WME (hence Harry's comment that he "had to be there")?

I don't know, but it sure adds to the intrigue, especially if both the Executive Producer of the movie as well as Bob's son Ziggy (also a producer) couldn't be arsed to be seen with them.

I'm certain Rachel would kill for a meeting with Orly, whose accomplishments include:

David Bowie famously retired his stage persona, Ziggy Stardust, because it was messing with his head and emotions and there was a blurring of the man and the art that made him uncomfortable. So Matty vs. Truman Black is not a new thing.

Matty is a white nepo baby fuckboy. He also a sensitive, gifted artist who deals with ADHD and addiction (a demon that doesn't go away when you stop using) on the daily. Sometimes one end of that spectrum presents more loudly than the other, but all of us contain multitudes. He can and should be called out for things that should be called out. But every online conversation about him now involves him being casually called a Nazi, like it's no big deal—and it's OK to call that nonsense out too. Multiple things can be true at once: he's dating/fucking around looking for connection (normal behavior) AND he's exploring stuff for his art. The second one gets him into trouble sometimes, but mostly we're not used to seeing mess. Every other pop star of the last decade has a team of image/PR managers that keep most of their shit behind closed doors, but all of them have struggled with fame and social media and relationships.

I totally understand people seeing Matty as problematic and messy (he is lol) and deciding he's not for them, but I also think some people today think of fandom as an all or nothing thing. It's OK to enjoy someone's music and not feel pressure to defend them from the rest of the world. I used to love talking to people who weren't fans of Taylor about why I thought she was such a good writer and artist. These days, though, watching Swifties swarm anything that is not all out gushing about Taylor like it's a battle they have to fight is exhausting as fuck. I'm not going to be out in the streets apologizing for everything Matty does anymore than I am going to be out explaining to every nonbeliever why Taylor is a genius, but I always think it's worth reminding people to offer people, famous and not, a bit of grace once in a while.

What do you think Nick would do for a job if he didn’t become sheriff and what do you think Ziggy is/ would be?

First off, I‘m sorry it took so long to answer. Crazy RL right now and your question has so many what ifs and variables to it that I had to mull it over to narrow my answer down (in a good way!).😅

So with Nick, I take it that he still has all the Goode money which leaves possibilities wide open.

I think it comes down to if he is still bound to the whole King of Sunnyvale gig and being seen as a pillar of society so to speak.

A) If yes, I think he‘ll probably gets a degree in something that would be highly respected in the Sunnyvale high circles (Law, Business, Finance…) and just become CEO of one of the many Goode Businesses. He might become Mayor himself (or run one of these charities where unbeknownst to the public most of the money ends up in the Goode's pocket rather than the cause) for the good PR.

B) If Nick has the money and the guts to just do what he really wants, I see him lean into is nerdy and/or morbid side and like become an Arachnologists or Pathologist and maybe a second degree in Lit or Film just for the love of it. Since hey, he basically has never ending generational wealth, so why not?

Since we never been told in canon if Ziggy has a job or not, I personally just assume she got a big settlement post Nightwing and she is living off that. With maybe Nick making sure she has enough to live comfortable without her knowing. If she has or had to have a job, I think it would be something that would have as little interaction with other people as possible, so at home work or something like stocking shelves in the wee hours of the morning.

I’m also having some thoughts on Ziggy if she hadn’t gotten traumatized at Nightwing and/or if Cindy had lived. Maybe for another time. Or I never get this posted.😉

Okay so go with me here:

Spicy Six Power Rangers AU

Nancy’s the Red, Jonathan’s Blue, and Steve’s Pink. They’re the original team, gaining their powers after they fight a monster (demogorgon) sent by ancient interdimensional wizard Vecna.

Nancy as Red is just a big duh, she’s the decisive leader of the group.

Jonathan isn’t a standard Blue in the “smart guy”/Billy sense, but he’s def the Lancer to Nancy’s Leader, and supports her all the way.

Steve is clearly Pink because he’s the heart of the group.

They start hunting down the monster after Will disappears mysteriously.

In true Sentai/PR fashion, Vecna was a wizard x-thousand years ago who was sealed away by a child with special powers (Eleven) who then was put into a deep slumber by her people to await Vecna’s return.

El gathers the team and functions as their mentor.

They’re a monster-hunting themed team, and derive their powers from various mythical monsters.

Vecna tried taking Will because he’s like Eleven, and Vecna wants to kill all children with her same potential so he can never be locked away again. When he can’t get Will, Vecna continues sending monsters after other kids with potential and the Rangers respond to those.

Down the line, Robin helps Steve fight off a monster and gains the Power in the process, becoming the Green Ranger.

Robin’s not a Tommy Green, but more in the vein of Bridge or Ziggy: clever weirdo Greens with secret skills that people might overlook.

Even later, Eddie becomes the Black Ranger after seeing a Vecna-monster kill his friend Chrissy, but is brainwashed/convinced by Vecna that it was the Rangers’ fault she died.

Eddie’s as a Black Ranger doesn’t follow as many tropes, but there are less established tropes for Black Rangers. He does, on the other hand, follow a lot of the Evil Sixth Ranger tropes (despite being the fifth).

Eddie fights the other four for a while until finally the spell is broken/truth revealed. Penitent, he joins the team after a talk from Steve about how being brainwashed doesn’t make him evil or a coward, just human.

Definitely shades of Kim/Tommy between Eddie and Steve.

Argyle joins around the same time, a friend of Jonathan’s that gets his powers protecting a bunch of people. He’s the Purple Ranger, or maybe even an Extra Hero with similar but different powers/armor.

Not quite sticking one-for-one to the regular ST plot, or overlaying the Spicy Six on the original MMPR team, but I’m gonna be noodling on this one for a while.

(Like I needed more plot bunnies.)
