Be My Princess 2’s Childrens (PT. 2)

so, i will only translate a little bit of the second CG (image in the right) because if i translated everything, it would be a loooot... and i would stay here for days and days. but there's context, i will also talk about why the nickname, if it's too different from the name! here is part one of the princes.

King Oliver & Prince Arthur (“Watson”).

why the nickname Watson? Prince Arthur said he couldn't tell about the future to Oliver, then got the nickname from Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes.

King Oliver, MC and Prince Arthur went out for a walk on Oliver’s birthday and, in the middle of streets, two chefs were fighting over a pizza, complaining about copying each other. Oliver then proposed they jointly promoted the pizza, so the public can say which pizza taste better. the two chefs liked the idea, Arthur was amazed. after coming home (and Werner yelled at Oliver), Arthur decided it was the best time to give his father the birthday gift, a book he made. Oliver started reading and praising the drawings too, making Arthur embarrassed. MC and Oliver were moved after reading that Arthur wanted to protect the country’s peace just like his dad and they hugged as a family. next few days, taking a break, Oliver said he likes to read Arthur’s book every day, the kid saying he'll make a lot of drawings. Oliver thanked MC for raising such a kind child.

King Max & Prince Anselm (“Muu”).

why the nickname Muu? Prince Anselm was seen with a sheep plushie when he traveled to the past + the last katakana of his name, Muu.

Prince Anselm was anxious for his speech on King Max’s birthday party, so he froze in front of everyone. Max and MC were worried for their kid, she was going to help Muu-chan, but Max stopped MC, saying he believes Muu-chan will do it on his own time. little by little, Muu-chan steps to his dad, giving him a bouquet and an album, full of photos of them. MC is relieved, and then comments the album is incomplete, it's missing the last photo. Max is curious, and Anselm says it's reserved for a photo of the three of them. they ask Butler Gaston to take photo of them together, everyone applauding the family. Muu-chan and Max are relaxed and MC thinks it's a good time to take a picture of them again, asking for Gigi’s camera. later, MC talks about how Gigi is partner in crime of Anselm, taking the photos of them together.

King Lyuo & Prince Theodore (Teddy).

King Lyuo and Prince Theodore got sick after spending some time together, and MC was worried about Teddy not being fully healthy for Lyuo’s birthday party. Prince Aslan appeared, making Teddy happy, he really likes Aslan. MC let them talk and Aslan ask what Theodore is feeling, who admits he feels sad for being sick and not getting a gift for his dad. Aslan then, secretly gives an option to Teddy. after party, MC cooks for Lyuo, who was feeling sick and occupied and ended up not eating much. they celebrate as family. when getting ready for bed, MC notices Lyuo and Teddy sleeping and accidentally wakes them up. she feels happy to see them hugging, they weren't feeling very well before. Teddy admits he is feeling guilty, thinking he was the reason why Lyuo was feeling bad too and tries to make a spell for Lyuo to get better soon. Lyuo feels happy and hugs his kid really hard, feeling very hard to spend time with him again.

BONUS:

Butler Jin & Ren + Prince Shion & Ruito.

because it's the first time there's an event with Shion & Jin with their son, that's the event their son travels back in time.

Ren thinks Jin and MC doesn't get along, because MC always deny Jin’s touches in public. she is just a little shy with it plus thinks it's not an appropriate way to behave in front of their kid.

Ruito is worried that Prince Shion and MC are feeling overwhelmed with work, so he asks Butler Kent to help him make omelette, because he knows eating a delicious meal makes him feel better. MC and Shion are very happy to see their son being so caring, and there's the sense of they did something right in the future. after Shion’s birthday party, Ruito gives him a bouquet he made himself to Shion, congratulating his father for his birthday and Shion is feeling very proud of his son. after hugging Ruito, a light appears and take the kid back to the future. Shion comments Ruito is really MC’s son, for liking flowers and aromas.

a/n: ahaha I'm only six episodes in but damn right I picked the grouchy one and I wanna make my feelings hurt cw: fem!Reader, enforcer!Reader, previously established relationship (Ginoza/Reader), talks of pregnancy termination, failed marriage, forced sterilization, angst, unedited word count: 1.5k ──────────────────

"The Specimen case?"

"Yeah...the one that caused Mr. Kogami's crime coefficient to take a turn."

Detective Akane looked at you with those intrigued brown eyes. Ones that made you feel like a human for a second and not just a latent criminal used for the Public Safety Bureau. If she was here asking you about this cold case in particular. Chances are she ran her luck through with everyone else who knew anything about it.

Taking a deep breath and setting your drink down, you looked past her to the closed steel door that kept you and other enforcers in your designated rooms, "Shinya's hue wasn't the only one who got muddled with that day. The two of us both got demoted that day."

"Wait-" Akane looked at you surprised seeing as none of your information was in the case file Ginoza had sent her with explicit instructions to delete afterwards, "The file Detective Ginoza sent me only said one detective's death and Enforcer Kogami's crime coefficient to reach that of latent criminal status due to the Specimen Case. Nothing about you said-"

"Yeah, I know it's not in there," You said, cold in comparrison to the hot tea you were taking back into your hands as you sat back on your couch, "It was struck from the case files as a deal."

"A deal?"

"A deal. My demotion for the annulment of my marriage to Detective Ginoza."

"Ginoza was married?!" Akane all but had to pick her jaw up off the floor.

You unbothered but it had been a while since a fresh pair of ears had heard the tale of woe. One not so woeful anymore as time had scared over old wounds. They stung and itched like any old scar might. But now as you recounted what happened that day, none of it stung like it use to.

"Had been yes." A sip from your mug before it got cold, "But just like latent criminals, the Sibyl System deemed it incorrect and against protocol the moment my hue changed. No amount of rehabilitation or Bureau insight could fix what had already been done."

Akane's otherwise unreadable face scowled a little in thought, "So you were there with Kogami on that day."

"Indeed I was."

"And he caused your hue to muddle?"

That assumption caused you to shake your head, "Shinya didn't cause anything. I went after him with full knowledge of what might happen."

The recounts from Shion passed vividly in Akane's mind. All those bodies hidden in public places behind holograms to be discovered like rotten easter eggs. All caused by the plastination no one ever could trace back to the maker. Resulting in a cold case and two detective now labeled as latent criminals.

"...I thought I could help. But I didn't." You broke through the new Detective's thoughts, "Ginoza warned me not to. Warned Kogami not to as well."

"But still he persisted." Akane spoke softly.

"He was close to Sasayama. The nasty man." You sneered behind the lip of your glass at the deceased, "But for whatever reason Kogami didn't let it go. And by doing so put the unit at risk. I could have left like we were told but-"

"Leaving a comrade seems wrong." Akane looked down.

You shrugged and set the cup down, "Even know it feels wrong to leave someone behind. No matter what the color of my hue is. Just thought at least one of us would have made it out of their with our minds in tact though. Sadly, life just doesn't work that way."

The loss of Enforcer Kogami's status was one thing. Loosing a partner on the job was the clear cut way that Akane saw Ginoza's stiffness about the code of conduct between enforcers and detectives. But now that you revealed such a thing. Purposely covered up. She began to realize Ginoza's words went further than just loosing a comrade.

"...if I may ask," Akane folded her hands before herself as she called on your attention once more, "How long were you two married?"

"Two years and eight months," The quickness to your answer surprised Akane. Letting up on the stringent answer you smiled with a little bit of a laugh, "But we'd been together since secondary school."

"High school sweethearts." Akane echoed the sweet sentiment behind your words.

"I suppose." It brought a slightly bigger smile to your lips. But as quickly as that came, it also faded. Eyes turned down while you looked at the smooth surface of your tea, "I was mad at Kogami for a little while but...being mad at him doesn't right the wrong I caused by disobeying orders."

"And now you're a latent criminal and an enforcer."

"It was either that or death because none of the treatments worked. Deemed unfit and well...tarnishing the name of a good Detective simply wasn't appropriate by Sibyl's appraisal." You shrugged at it matter of factly.

"But there was no way Detective Ginoza didn't try to argue that? He's by the books but- You two where-"

"We were but-" You shrugged, "Even he couldn't work his way through it. And I didn't want to cause him anymore stress than I already had."

"So you-"

"Yep." You nodded somberly, "Agreed to strike our marriage from public and private records. Annulled it in writing and in every possible facet there is to our digital world. Every memory and picture...wiped from global data bases-" You snapped your fingers, "Just like that."

Heaviness set between the two of you. As she came in here asking about Kogami. Akane hadn't expected there to be so much collateral to the cold case. Not one that hit so close to home as her own current working partner. Ginoza was a pain to work with but no one deserved what you were describing. Not to this extent even if it was due to latent criminal activity.

"...our systems flawed," You spoke up, "But I think you already figured that out haven't you detective?"

She bit her lip. Understanding at times the blood lust in the other enforcer's eyes were anything but sane. But standing in the very real aftermath of what being labeled a criminal meant. She hadn't dreamed of these supposed evil doers of having lives previous to being labeled as dangerous. Not lives that seemed so close to her own.

"I don't know what Ginoza has told you."

Akane looked up at you across the room, "Honestly nothing."

"That doesn't surprise me." You shake your head knowing what was going through his mind at any point of the day it felt, "I didn't tell him everything they did to me as a latent criminal but- I know he's accessed my file from time to time. Especially off the clock."

"Off the clock? Is that allowed?"

"You're detectives, almost everything besides a muddled hue is allowed." You laugh at her naïve ness, "There were things I couldn't tell him that I knew reading it would simply be easier."

"Like what?" Akane's brows furrowed.

"Oh, guess you haven't given too much thought about what happens to us late bloomers do you?"

She shook her head. Already feeling the bile in her stomach at what you might mention.

And as you took the tepid cup of tea back in your hands. Watching it's surface ripple with movement and settle back down before you ran your thumbs over the smooth surface, "I found out I was six weeks pregnant for one thing. But criminals aren't allowed rights like that." You didn't have to look at her to know the color had probably drained from her face, "Ginova had no idea. I had no idea. And when you're labeled as such, you loose the rights of a human. They sterilized me and the only glimpse of a different life I ever had." Where old scars felt numb, even this one was too raw for you to relieve without the aches it caused, "...Ginoza probably found out through my file but by that time, what was done was done."

You look up at the detective who'd asked permission to come into your room to talk. Now looking like she regret the decision but was too kind to say anything about it. It was an ugly side of the Sibyl system. But one you felt her and everyone else in positions of powers should know about.

"The only good side is....I get to work beside him everyday. Not how I intended to but...being put down like a dog would have been the only other humane thing to do to me after they decided I was too dangerous to have a say in my own life." ──────────────────

Meet the Prince! Luke Randolph 🐻

After Jin, here's the next route :

The 8th Prince of Rhodolite Kingdom, yes he's the youngest and just joined the royal family

Arm of Coat : Bear

First impression of him : a lazy one? ... Hmm let's see, can i like him? Thought he's kinda cute (his bear charm i mean lol)

His voice actor is Shion Yoshitaka

He has given you the aura of a lazy man, but his smile is the sweetest smile you can get, together with Leon UwU Even though his the youngest, his body is bigger than the other princes. Really makes him look more like a bear. Even Yves is just like a doll when compared to Luke 😂 But with an appearance like that one might think Luke is one of the court guards lol

Luke had just become a prince, 2 or 3 months before the MC's arrival. Because he lived in the city, Luke became good friends with the MC because only with him, MC could communicate normally. Or Luke considers MC as his younger sister, even though MC is actually older than him.

Actually Luke isn't officially a prince yet, so before the official ceremony he has to learn court etiquette and adapt to his new life, but Luke doesn't want to do it at all. He's just lazing around, escaped from Sariel and then fell asleep in the garden. He also refuses all social activities even though the faction Luke belongs to is the faction that is required to socialize more. Not completely lazy though, sometimes he does what Chevalier ask like buy books in town, it's just as long as you give him honey. Yes, honey is only his motivation. Then when Mc asks "if you don't want to do all this (not interested in the throne), why are you still here?", Luke's expression darkens.

Maybe he looks like he doesn't care about anything, but he's actually a kind and caring person. Especially toward MC. On the other hand, he's quite mysterious. No one knows, Luke holds a huge grudge against the royal family, so big that taking revenge was the only reason Luke survived until now. This reason really just got discovered on his route. Honestly, I already anticipating what drama might happen on his route, but it still surprises me. Bc on the other route, Luke is really acting normal! I get scared thinking about the possibility that the kindness Luke showed in front of the other princes was just an act Ó╭╮Ò

Sooooo the interesting part of this route, as usual, is how MC can change Luke? For some people, forgiving someone you hate because that person has snatched someone you love is not an easy matter. Moreover, you live only for revenge. I really like the drama in Luke's route bc i can understand his feeling, it feels more realistic. At least, his problem is not a light problem. I'd say Luke's story is more darker, but Idk with Clavis, Sariel or Rio later

For reading Luke's route, you should probably read Jin's route first because their stories are very related. I was just thinking, that Jin and Luke, which has a resemblance from childhood and some things, have a big difference in seeing what has happened to them. If Jin can forgive, then Luke can't. Jin focused to the future, but Luke trapped in past, will do anything to get his revenge. But that's makes Jin is the most suitable person to be close with Luke. He can guide and help him in many ways. Btw Luke's story is the first story which gives clues about new characters and more detailed about 'traitor in court' which is often mentioned in previous routes.

Luke is not recommended to anyone who doesn't like lazy guy. Well sometimes i like this type, but I'm thinking twice about Luke. He's nice guy and his laziness has a reason, but his reluctance in carrying out the duties of a prince is quite annoying to me😅. There's a moment that's make me .... Umm like "wwwhhhyyyy?? Don't do that!". But yeah back to the first, i understand that Luke doesn't want to be a prince, i'm just disappointed a little bit ಠ,_｣ಠ

Honey, is something Luke loves more than anything. Where there is honey, there is Luke! Just imagine, you put honey as a trap, then soon a 'bear' named Luke appears 😂 and Jin often uses that to lure his younger bro. Plus he can cook any honey themed food. Honestly, Luke is very talented and smart, proof that he is indeed the son of the king. He just went a little bit wrong using that ability😅

One proof of his ability is the bear charm that he often carries, bc he made it himself!

Can I get one too, sir? (つ✧ω✧)つ

Bonus! In his route we often meet Jin ... And Clavis! Surely, Clavis has been an important character lately lol. With personality like that he really can't be ignored 😂

Bonus! We already know Luke close with Jin. Is there anyone else close to him? Yes, it's Rio. They're partner in crime commoner buddies, thought I see LukexJin more often than LukexRio. They happen to both like sweet food, both are young, come from the city, quite mysterious especially their fighting skills (has 2 sides which may be surprising) and both really pay attention to MC.

The other princes? Well, he get along well with other prince in Leonist faction. In his own faction, they are not close and very rarely gather in office or be at the same event. Just imagining them getting together is already giving you a weird feeling. 2 prince will bullying teasing you, will the youngest trying to protect and the oldest just silence, lucky if the Cheva doesn't speak sharply to you! (Eh but his silence is already intimidating😅). This faction is very ... Unique ... Ah, I'm just remembered! Have you ever wondered why Luke joined this faction and why Chevalier kept this lazy man in the faction?😉

That's quite long! Next, will be the chaos lover-prince, Clavis!

why must Satoko torture Mion, I just want my favorite character to be happy and vibe in peace.

It’s interesting how Mion seemed to be pretty much fine (just more emotional/confident in her crush on Keiichi) despite being injected with H137, up until she saw Keiichi with Shion. I guess Rena was more affected since she was already in a bad mental state and has suffered from Hinamizawa Syndrome in the past. I also like to theorize the Sonozaki family might have some kind of immunity (however small) to the syndrome, and that’s why Mion never got it until now (and the explanation of “she’s just too level-headed to ever get seriously affected” helps her or something).

Kasai continues to have great Dad Energy around Shion. I love their dynamic.

also lol I love how in the loops from Gou and Sotsu Takano isn’t crazy anymore and isn’t the villain, and yet she still does incredibly sus shit like that “craning my head to look over my shoulder as creepily as possible” when she tells Keiichi and Shion they’re partners in crime now haha. Even when she’s reformed, she can’t help but do incredibly sus things for no reason.

I like that whatever mistake Rika made while doing her dance wasn’t shown. I was worried they’d show it and remove the mystery from it (as inconsequential as it is, I think it helps add tension to the Watanagashi arcs - a sort of minor confusion and terror on Keiichi’s part to mirror the confusion caused by Mion and Shion taking each other’s places).

What is up with Ooishi in this show? He was always weird and suspicious in the original show despite being a good guy, but it’s like the people behind Gou/Sotsu are trying to take it even farther by having him constantly smirk and making his voice even more over-the-top. This is probably the question I’m most looking forward to having answered in Tataridamashi-hen’s answer arc (along with “was Keiichi actually attacked by Teppei or was that just a hallucination?”). Especially so since both Tatarigoroshi-hen and Tataridamashi-hen have Irie refer to Ooishi as “Oyashiro-sama’s familiar,” which the former arc never actually addressed (to my knowledge). It makes sense Ooishi would be closely watching Satoko and her uncle since Teppei was already on a police watch (according to Minagoroshi-hen IIRC), but Irie seemed to suggest something deeper than that. Idk maybe I’m just dumb lol

Holy fuck, Mion’s confrontation with Shion was a little hard to watch. Shion’s torture of Mion in Meakashi-hen (and presumably Watanagashi-hen) was awful, but something about how brutal and gory it was kinda dulls the horror for me, especially since it’s less about the sisters’ conflict and more about Shion being batshit insane and grieving for Satoshi. This conflict was focused on the two sisters (and also Keiichi, for Mion at least), and the contrast of Mion’s emotionless questioning with Shion’s terrified pleas was honestly horrifying. It felt more real in how it was more grounded and physical. I feel like there’s more I want to say, but idk how to put it into words. It was just a good scene.

This scene also hammered home to me how much of a villain Satoko is. Like, Takano was a crazy bitch trying to play God, but she at least didn’t know she was putting a little girl through ~100 years of torture (and other people to a lesser extent). Satoko knows full well what she’s doing by not only putting Rika back in the loops, but also forcing their friends to brutally kill each other. Her motivations and emotions are understandable, but a good explanation doesn’t also mean a good reason. This is why I hate the RikaxSatoko ship (aside from seeing the two more as sisters). Ship whatever you want, it’s none of my business, but I find it baffling how people think they would ever make a good couple after all this. I don’t think Satoko is 100% evil and irredeemable, but I fail to see how Rika could ever trust her again after being betrayed this intensely. I really hope Sotsu has a bittersweet ending where they reconcile but end up going their separate ways (especially since “sotsu” Japanese means “graduation”). It would be way more fitting than a cheery “we’re still friends! :D”

19. Favorite Anime Ships

oh god okay here we go. I'll do 5 cause there's no way I can discuss them all. Non-Fate since you already know my opinion on that. (harem au go brrrrrrrrr)

1. C.C. and Lelouch from Code Geass

I'd like to start off my list with my favorite Witch and Warlock. Lelouch's little harem was a pretty cool sideplot to one of the best animes I've ever watched and I've always liked how each of his heroines liked an aspect of him. (Kallen liked Zero, Shirley liked Lamperouge, while C.C. liked the real him without either mask, Lelouch Vi Brittania)

But the connection between him and his green-haired partner in crime was just divine. Their fateful encounter began a powerful alliance that could floor entire nations. She gave him the power he needed in the hour of his greatest need and he found out her true wish. I always like pairings with strong themes and they do that for me. I cant word out everything i feel for these two rn but god, I will never be over them.

2. Gajeel and Levy from Fairy Tail

I don't think there's ever been a shounen manga that had me scouring through pages just to find the tiniest clues about a ship. That's what Gajevy did to me. These two had the best enemies to lovers arc because step-by-step you get to watch Gajeel's redemption and Levy's struggle to be stronger side-by-side. Even if they weren't the main focus of Fairy Tail, just seeing these two slowly go from being awkward, to developing a friendship, to catching feelings, to BEING SEEN IN MANGA PANELS WITH THE TINIEST GLIMPSE OF A BLANKET WITH THE SAME PATTERN, to confessing, to that blushy whisper in the final chapter. Yeah. They're great. Best ship in Fairy Tail.

3. Shion and Yayoi from Psycho-Pass

I really like when relationships are just you know, running in the background like its nobody's business and I have to claw for crumbs and this is that. Like, when the bed scene dropped showing the two hottest women of 2012 with EACH OTHER my jaw dropped along with it. *inhales* *exhales* Psycho-Pass just delivers on bloody every aspect, I swear.

4. Hyuga x Riko x Teppei from Kuroko no Basuke

And again with the ships running in the background like its nobody's business, my GOD I went down a rabbit hole with this one. I was really enjoying Riko's dynamic with Hyuga I thought they were kind of great together parenting the rest of the team and then boom Teppei arrives and she's the only one that calls him by his first name and OHOHHOHOHO what is this that I sense is it HISTORY??? and yes it is, they used to date. So while I was crying relating to the athlete angst (i was a swimmer, not a basketball-er but yknow) going on I was also checking to see glimpses of the interactions of these three, like full on looking in backgrounds and stuff. Off the top of my head S1 EP21 dropped a TON of shipping fuel for me, with the way both Hyuga and Teppei's reactions to her cooking. Look me in the eye and tell me they don't love her. I dare ya. plus Teppei and Hyuga have a healthy relationship with each other too. It's a very subdued love triangle and it lasts the whole time, I love it.

5. Vi and Cait from Arcane

Wanted to add something more recent, so guess what I just watched. HAHAHAHAwheeee. Brainrot. You ever see two characters whose eyes connect ONCE and sparks fly. Yep, that's exactly how I felt when I saw these two. Every second of screentime delivered. Every interaction was with purpose. Arcane didn't have that many episodes, so to showcase a relationship so strongly in essentially the latter half, was great. Watching them was a joy, and for anyone who hasn't checked this out yet, yáll should watch Arcane, even if you don't play League. (I don't, but my friends pushed me to watch and yep. Loved it.)

can i ask what u imagine in a romantic partner for gino? what she's like? how they meet? would they make it Official by getting married? how would that work with gino's crime coefficient- can latent criminals get married?

I have actually answered something similar in part, so I'll copy and paste from that:

"In my mind, she’s someone an air of class, but in a way that a self-made woman would be.

She has an easy confidence in a way that’s humble and is accepting of the world around her and her station (much like Akane in that sense), though her personality is quite different than Akane’s. She sees the value in the man and not the title–and she is adamant about leaving work when she’s not on the clock. She’s someone who isn’t looking for a relationship but knows when she finds one in a friend. She’s not quick to slap a label on it whether it’s platonic, fooling around, or something more serious. It is what it is, and whatever that looks like she’s going to invest in the relationship if it means something to her. Similarly, I think she’s very secure in her sexuality and is someone who’s very in charge of it, though that fact is more subtle than someone like Shion. I hesitate to use the term 'mysterious' because of the cliched image it paints, but it’s more that she’s selective in what she shares and who she shares those aspects of herself with. She won’t be wearing the laced bustiers or the low-cut red suits with platform heels. Her sexuality is something you earn, much like any other more intimate form of trust (as a friend or otherwise). It stays out of her way, that way. Her eyes are warm brown or hazel, and her style isn’t trendy, but timeless–anything beyond that is meant to catch attention, and the more you know her, the more you’ll understand that that was exactly her intent."

I don't know if latent criminals can get married, but my hope is that he wouldn't be a latent criminal anymore and that they'd seal the deal. I wouldn't be worried about his crime coefficient.

As for how they'd meet, I'd like to think it would be in a refreshingly unspectacular way. Maybe he starts frequenting a certain coffee shop she also loves and she eventually says something (yet not in the cliched Coffee Shop AU sense--genuinely just one in which you cross paths with someone regularly on the way to work). Maybe she has a dog too and they cross paths at a park or just because Dime catches her attention. Maybe it's even through work, even if she isn't a part of the Bureau. After all, he does primarily work with people. She could be someone who provides them with information and takes a bit of an interest in him during that conversation.

To be transparent, at one time, I had actually started a fic where this very character was introduced. In that fic, she was an organizational psychologist.

Paraiba Tourmaline Sacrifices (Part 1)

How odd.

Not wanting to waste her time any longer, Shimotsuki Mika calls one of her subordinate. But the person who is now several miles away from her doesn’t pick up the call. It is getting late, and it is out of the schedule plan. It’s sunday, most people probably stay at their house or go out with their family or friends enjoying their day off. But a crime doesn’t care of your beloved day off, it strikes whenever it wants, like it or not. Nearly five hours ago, she rechieved a report to investigate a murder case inside a jewelry shop. She handed it to Division One as it fits with the capability of the aimed division. Their last conversation happened four hours ago, and she hasn’t received further progress from them. According to the report she received, the owner of the jewelry shop is an immigrant from Sri Lanka. She has a hunch that this case will involve The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’s Suppressing Action Departement, or easily known as “S.A.D”. Their involvement is what worries her. She wonders if her subordinates have bumped into them. It’s nothing serious, but she has personal grudge with their assistant officer, who took away her ex-subordinates from her, most of all those who actually capable, and even though she doesn’t want to admit it, her trusted one.

The case is about a murder of an immigrant shop owner, Ranuvitha Semel, who is suspected on having a connection to the black market. The suspect is his own business partner. Ranuvitha used to sells jewelry, as he born from a country which famous of its gemstone. The current missions is to investigate Ranuvitha Semel himself, his business, the person who is suspected as his murderer and lastly, the black market itself. His action on doing such a business without Sibyl noticing is definitely odd. At first, some suspected him as a criminally asyptomatic, before it got debunked as his records shows that he is an ordinary man. The report came after a suspicious actions regarding the business and their sudden increase on purchase numbers.

Several hours later, she finally gets a call. The words on the screen pops up, it’s inspector Kei Mikhail Ignatov.

“How is it?” she asks.

“We are still investigating the matter, inspector Arata just contacted analyst Karanomori to track the suspect after we found out that the now deceased owner of the shop, Ranuvitha Semel, is indeed related with the black market which connected with several countries, including Sri Lanka itself, as his supplier and business partner” the man answers.

“He is a first generation immigrant, all document that isn’t registered and connected with his previous life must still be there—“

“That’s the problem, the suspect took it together with a gemstone, paraiba tourmaline” he adds.

“And how is that possible?”

“We are too late to stop the suspect, I supposed—“

“YOU!” she yells and continues,

“Such a thing like this happened because of your incapability! are you two taking this seriously or not?!”

“We are going to track him down right now, I won’t let such a thing happens again” he says with a sigh.

“AS YOU SHOULD!” she ends the call abruptly, and leans on her chair. She takes a deep breath, and tries to control her anger, which is difficult. While she still controlling her emotions, a video call pops up,

“How is there?” says a woman with honey-blonde hair while smiling teasingly to the screen. The person she wishes to see the least today. Hanashiro Frederica, an Assistant Officer of Suppressing Action Departement.

“What do you want?!”

“How’s your team doing?” Frederica smiles, but Shimotsuki knows so well what’s behind that smile.

“We are still investigating, and if you and your guys interfere our process, I won’t stay still” Shimotsuki says while pointing her finger to the screen.

“Well, too bad because my people already down there. You know that this also be a case for Ministry of Fereign Affairs” Frederica says. Of course Shimotsuki knows that, but she despises every involvement that come from MoFA. Once again, because of her personal grudge and her dislikeness towards Hanashiro Frederica. The woman on the screen continues,

“Now then, let’s share informations don’t we?” her smile fades, and her voice becomes more serious. But Shimotsuki can’t give anything as her team failed to capture the suspect and now playing Tom and Jerry on the road. She doesn’t want to admit that to her, she’s furious with her current situation, but she tries to be professional.

“My team are still investigating the matter, and if you want information, go ask the people from your own department” she cuts the video call, and returns leaning on her chair. It takes several minutes until she comes back focusing with her own tasks.

It’s getting late, and the sky becomes darker. On the street, behind those wall, and under the bridge, something is creeping. In the world under Sibyl System, Japan has turned into something else. It is peace, but it is also hides monstrosity. It says that people who lives in Japan are good people, because every people with bad personality went to jail, or just, ‘gone’. But who says that good people can’t hate? Who thinks that good people can’t kill? Good people can do what bad people do. It’s just that when they do them, they call it justice. At least, that’s come from a book she ever read before.

Shimotsuki plans to go home, but she hasn’t received anything from her subordinates, so she decides to stay longer in the office. But she’s too impatient, so she calls them instead,

“Progr—“ she says but her words get cuts,

“Chief, what a coincidence I just plan to reach you” the man says, he’s Inspector Shindo Arata.

“Continue…”

“We have captured the suspect, he’s unconscious now. We also collected some evidences regarding his business and it’s connection with the black market…” Arata explains.

“And…?”

“Ranuvitha Semel didn’t know that he was doing a business with a black market, that explain why his crime coefficient stays normal. The black market is hiding under a registered company with the name ‘Hidaka Corporation’, which also the main supplier for a big production company” he adds,

“Big company?” she murmur, “—how is the product, anything strange?” she asks.

“Nothing suspicious with the mass products, but for valuable items like jewelry and gemstone we found out that they mixed unlicensed chemical powder with the gemstone, which can dissolve when you mixed with certain degree of hot water, and um…other things that is now being analyzed by Karanomori Shion-san” a drugs. So they sells gemstones as disguise through a jewelry store to their consumers. That answers the question on why the number of purchases increases for something that people don’t often buy.

“Have you investigate the customers?” she asks.

“We got the data already, and I’ll send them to you”

“Alright, now get back to the office and brings the evidence from the black market”

“Well about that, Chief…” Arata says, nervously.

“We are now with the Suppressing Action Departement from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and they asked for the evidence for further investigation purp—“

“HAH?! NO THEY ARE NOT!”

“Stay right there and don’t let them move any inch! I’ll go to your current location!” Shimotsuki takes her bag and runs towards the lift across her office.

Shimotsuki starts her car and sets it to auto-pilot, while she calls towards Frederica Hanashiro.

“I know you will call me” the woman from other side says, she’s still at her office just like when she called her in the evening.

“If you know then stop your people from snatching away of what supposed to be mine!”

“I see, you are on your way to them right? Then I don’t have to bring myself there, one of us is enough” she smiles, and it’s testing Shimotsuki’s patience once again.

“You are not answering me!”

“Ara, in the end the upper will ask us to investigate it after all” Frederica says,

“Then it’s them to decide and not you!”

“We will invite you to our office to discuss this, take this as a request from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs to negotiate with you”

“And if I refuse?”

“We will apply for a request again” Frederica smirks, she knows that she will get that no matter what. Shimotsuki knows damn well that shes’s that kind of person. And she hates it. At the moment like this, she sometimes wondering what will her senior will do. But thinking about Tsunemori Akane only frustrated her. Not that she hates her, she used too, but as time passes by, Akane is the only senior she looks up onto, and one of people she care for. Even now.

Shimotsuki arrives at the location, the whole Division One is there, also three people from Suppressing Action Departement. Including him. Her trusted one.

She gets out from her car, staring at her subordinates and then to S.A.D. Shindo Arata and Kei Mikhail Ignatov comes to her, and giving her a ‘salute’ pose. She responds to them, and stares back to S.A.D. Her ex-subordinates, Sugo Teppei, walks towards her. She knows what he going to say, but still letting him to say it himself.

“Our chief invited you for a meeting with us to discuss this matter” he says calmly, and he adds

“Just you” Shimotsuki sighs.

“What?” says Kei, feeling unacceptable. And before he shouts at Sugo, Shimotsuki stops him,

“I only accept the offer if you let my two inspectors attending the meeting, other than that, I decline” she says, Sugo looks at his team mates, and they nod to each others.

“Very well” he answers.

They hold the meeting in the meeting room inside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs tower. The room is quiet spacious for a room with just one medium-size coffee table, two big and small dark brown couches. The room is sets with warm temperature since it strats snowing outside. There is three huge windows covered the wall and exposing the outside which is now dark and various color of lights from the city starts appearing. Outside, people are selling Christmas ornaments and cookies. She just realizes that it’s Christmas eve tonight. Shimotsuki didn’t celebrate Christmas last year, she off for work. And it’s looks like it will not be any different for this year too. Even though, she doesn’t really mind, but the longing to rest and relax her mind are strong. The S.A.D team enters the room, it looks like they have been discussing something for a while, but letting the guests waiting while you are the one who invited them quite irritates Shimotsuki.

“You sure took a while” Shimotsuki says as they enters the room.

“Paradon us, we are discussing something”

“Do mind it, my side also has something to do too” she says with annoyed tone.

“Well then, let’s get into the business” Frederica says as she glances towards a man with pony-tail, Ginoza Nobuchika. The man nods, and shares a file to all people in the room. They opens it through their device. The screen shows several profiles of immigrants and also Japanese citizens.

“Let me explain what our side purpose and need is. Before this, we are currently investigating some certain immigrants and Japanese citizens who are involved with the black market under the company of Hidaka Corporation and their connection to a big production company. But we found no evidence since they are using normal products to big company. We try to investigate Hidaka Hikoichi, who is currently the CEO of Hidaka Corporation, but found out he knows nothing regarding the black market under his own company, which was proven right. Until we got a report of suspicious action from a jewelry shop that runs by immigrant. We suspected it has something to do with our previous case of black market under Hidaka Corporation. We can’t continue to progress our previous case without evidence, now that this case brings it, we offer you a help and reach for a bigger goal” he explains.

“How is that profitable to our side?” Shimotsuki says, she frowns. He chuckles and continues,

“We believe MWPSB is a non-profit organization, and of course we will also give our collected reports regarding the Japanese citizens who works under Hidaka Corporation and connected with the black market to you” he adds.

“That is not apple to apple. I give you the evidence, you step further from where you are now, you give me the reports it only enrich my my final report to the higher ground” Shimotsuki says as she crosses her arms, staring at him. But the man who sits in front of her doesn’t shudder, instead he smiles at her. She doesn’t know what the meaning of it, but she doesn’t like it. That look he gives to her is somewhat saying that she’s only a kid who is yet to understand this kind of thing.

“Our report also consists regarding what inside the gemstone, since these people we have investigated might involved with the making of the fake gemstone. Each type of gemstone apparently represents different kind of drugs” he says calmly, still with the same smile.

“What do you mean?” Kei asks.

“This is still our assumptions, but if you accept the offer then you might prove our assumptions. For example we suspect they have cocaine for ruby, cannabis for aquamarine, and ecstasy for sapphire” Ginoza answers. This reminds Shimotsuki of what Inspector Kei mentioned before about paraiba tourmaline.

“There are several type of gemstones which Ranuvitha Semel offers, but according to our investigation, three or perhaps more types of them are connected with this case” Ginoza adds, while sending a file to Shimotsuki and her subordinates. Cocaine for ruby, cannabis for aquamarine, ecstasy for sapphire, and what’s for paraiba tourmaline? There is no tourmaline left, even when her team finally caught the suspect, the paraiba tourmaline has already gone.

Even though, she hates to admit it, she feels tempted. It shows all over her face.

“We can use this Chief” says Arata beside her.

“I can agree with that” Kei adds while looking at the report. Shimotsuki glances at Ginoza’s face, to make it more specific, his ‘winning’ face. Besides him, there is Hanashiro Frederica, who also shows the same expressions, while the other two, Shinya Kougami and Sugo Teppei stays with their unreadable faces. She finally comes to conclusion,

“Alright, i take the offer! With this we are now even, internal matters are our turf. Do not ever interfere with our matters again!” she sees Ginoza with a smirk on his face. She reaches her peak of patience.

“Alright, then it settled” Frederica says while getting up and walks leaving the room, follows by Shinya Kougami and Sugo Teppei.

“It’s nice to have a deal with you, kanshikan” Ginoza says, definitely on purpose.

“kanshikan—“ she murmur, then follows with ‘hmph!’ while leaving the room.

Outside the meeting room, Kougami walks towards Ginoza.

“What’s wrong” Ginoza asks, Kougami only gives a smile.

“Nothing, it’s just you seem enjoying yourself” Kougami says.

“What do you mean?”

“You seem enjoy teasing your own junior” he answers.

“She is not my junior, she is my superior”

“was” Kougami corrects him. He chuckles,

“Right, ‘was’”.

The snow is getting a little bit thicker, Shimotsuki is out of Ministry of Foreign Affairs building while watching over her two subordinates, Inspector Kei Mikhail Ignatov and Shindo Arata, leaves the place by car. A white smoke comes out from her mouth, she rubs her palm to warms herself as she walks towards her own car.

“Kanshikan” someone calls over her, and it is no doubt from whom the voice is. Ginoza approaches her while she is about to open the car’s door.

“Saying, kanshikan, are you trying to mock me?” she answers, almost like shouting at him.

“I never intend it like that” he lets out a small laughs.

“Then, what do you want from me now?” she asks, ignoring his laugh.

“Nothing, it’s just are you free tonight?”

“Why are you asking?” she stares at him dumbfoundly, but Ginoza doesn’t answer the question.

“I have to work tomorrow, now that you add more into my work lists” she adds while opens the car’s door but Ginoza suddenly holds the door and closes it back. Shimotsuki stares at him questioningly. He walks closer to her, and whispers to her ear

“Kanshikan, will you accompany me just for tonight?” his breaths feels so hot over her skin, and it gives her shivers.

“Wha-what are you doing?!” she yells while her face is blushing. But Ginoza stay still with his awkward position.

“What happens with you?” she asks once again, but more gentle than before, noticing his weird behavior. Something is wrong, she thinks.

“Alright then, just for tonight right” she says while pushes him from her. He lets out another chuckles, and lands a kiss on the left side of her lips.

“Thank you”

BLOND AMBITION (Just Another Appreciation Post)

SAYAKA SAEKI (Bloom Into You)

Her Deal: Touko Nanami's bestfriend/classmate/rival of some sorts. She's been in love with Touko upon entering Tohmi Higashi High School. With the aftermath of the events of the Student Council Play that showed a drastic change in Touko, Sayaka took the next step, confessing her love during their school field trip (Episode 37 of the manga). And, yes, she's the hottest lesbian in the planet. Fight me.

Regarding Saeki Sayaka: Underneath Sayaka's calm and poised exterior is a young woman struggling with her sexuality and her relationships. It is chronicled in the Bloom Into You spinoff light novels ".... Regarding Saeki Sayaka". Book 1 focused on her chance meeting with a kid in her swimming class and her first relationship with a senpai in middle school. Book 2 centered around Touko (her narrative is almost in conjunction with the events in the manga) and what she actually feels about sometime rival - now friend - Yuu Koito. Will Sayaka ever find her happy ending? Her story will conclude on Book 3, where Haru (mentioned in passing in the final chapter of the manga and also appeared at the tailend of Book 2) will be formally introduced.

TAIGA AISAKA (Toradora!)

Her Deal: The female lead and Ryuuji Takasu's partner-in-crime.

The Palm-Top Tiger: Taiga earned her (in) famous moniker "The Palm-Top Tiger" in Ohashi High School due to her small stature and her fits of temper. But underneath her rough exterior is a kind and supportive friend (evident with her interactions with Ryuuji, Minori, and Yusaku - even Ami) that sets aside her own happiness for others.

TUESDAY SIMMONS (Carole and Tuesday)

Her Deal: Singer-songwriter, one-half of Carole and Tuesday. Plays guitar.

Parent/s Just Don't Understand: Tuesday comes from a rich family in Hershell City, Mars. She wanted to pursue a career in music, but her politician mother opposed to the idea. This lead to Tuesday running away from home, then headed to Alba City where she met her musical partner Carole Stanley. Their mother-daughter conflict is one of the story arcs in the series.

WINRY ROCKBELL (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood)

Her Deal: Childhood friend of the Elric Brothers. Brilliant automail mechanic.

Equivalent Exchange: Winry has a deeper connection with Alphonse and Edward Elric, but as the story progressed, she gradually developed romantic feelings with the latter. In the concluding episode of FMAB, Ed finally proposes to Winry through the whole "Equivalent Exchange" idea, where Winry replied, "... why should I give only half if I could give my whole life to yours?" (or something like that... 😅).

YUUKO YOSHIKAWA (Sound! Euphonium)

Her Deal: Trumpeter in the Kitauji High School Concert Band. Haruka Ogasawara's successor as President of the band.

Dynamite: Yuuko is another one of the interesting characters in the franchise. She can be cheerful and friendly at one point, but have fits of rage when provoked. She's also a Minami Middle School band alumna, alongside Nozomi Kasaki, Mizore Yoroizuka, and Natsuki Nakagawa (though the latter only joined the band when they went to Kitauji). A faithful admirer and supporter to fellow trumpeter and senpai Kaori Nakaseko, and once antagonist to Reina Kousaka during the trumpet solo mess (they eventually made amends in Season 2). But her dynamic with bandmate/frenemy Natsuki has been one of the highlights in her time in the series.

SHION KARANOMORI (Psycho-Pass)

Her Deal: Goddess of Information Analysis. MWPSB Division 1's Eyes and Ears.

Love is Love: Shion is bisexual. She often flirts with Nobuchika Ginoza and Shinya Kogami at times, but Shion is actually in an intimate relationship with enforcer Yayoi Kunizuka.

YUI YAMADA (Kase-san and Morning Glories)

Her Deal: The hardworking member (then later on, president) of their high school's greenery committee. She eventually took up an agriculture course in college.

It's Not Easy Being Green: Her job in the greenery committee include planting, watering, weeding, arranging, etc. Her dedication to her work caught the attention of eventual love interest - now girlfriend - school jock Tomoka Kase.

MARY SAOTOME (Kakegurui)

Her Deal: Skillful gambler in her own right. Had a one hell of a ride in the series from falling to become a house pet then climbing back to prominence once more. Became Yumeko Jabami's ally in the process.

Face-to-face with the Devil: Mary seemed to be brutal, cocky and overconfident when she was first introduced in Kakegurui (because she always wins in her matches - one instance her beating Ryota Suzui in a game hence becoming Mary's house pet). But things went straight to hell when she faced the then newly-transferred Yumeko in a game of rock-paper-scissors. The latter exposed Mary's cheating ways that lead to her eventual downfall.

RIZA HAWKEYE (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood)

Her Deal: Ranked as lieutenant and ace markswoman in the Amestris State Military. Well-acquainted with guns. Significant member of Colonel Roy Mustang's Unit. Just don't mess with her.

The Colonel's "Queen": Lt. Hawkeye is a close confidant to the Flame Alchemist himself, Col. Mustang. Her loyalty and dedication to him is chronicled throughout the manga/anime series to a point that she's willing to die protecting him. On a personal level, there are some subtle hints that the two can be romantically linked (Mustang do care about Riza, too) but military duties just gets in the way, esp. in Riza's part. But I still ship them though!

mika probably felt vindicated when yayoi's crime coefficient dropped - she knew yayoi was different and sibyl saw it too because sibyl is always right! maybe she thought yayoi would "move on" from shion just like she "moved on" from being a latent criminal. because in her mind, being the ideal citizen = being the ideal romantic partner but that's not really the case. again, another big psychological hurdle for mika. and gino, who is sick of her self-pitying little rants and is about to leave for the MFA and no longer has anything to lose by pissing off mika, tells her outright that even if the sibyl was never invented, even in a world without hues or crime coefficients or psycho-passes, she and yayoi would never work because yayoi is kind, even to people without power over her, even to people who she's not romantically interested in, and mika isn't. and hinakawa just stares in stunned silence thinking gino is in for it but mika thinks about that for a while and wonders if gino is right.

Hahaha! I would’ve loveddddd to see Gino telling a few truths to Mika. I’m afraid this one might completely destroy her, lol. But honestly, it’s like, Mika, work on yourself, girl. Maybe if someone told her to her face what she is, she might attempt to change and wouldn’t base her whole personality around what Sibyl deems correct.

Also, Hinakawa’s reaction would be exactly that 😂😂😂

How odd.

Several hours later, she finally gets a call. The words on the screen pops up, it’s inspector Kei Mikhail Ignatov.

“How is it?” she asks.

“He is a first generation immigrant, all document that isn’t registered and connected with his previous life must still be there—“

“That’s the problem, the suspect took it together with a gemstone, paraiba tourmaline” he adds.

“And how is that possible?”

“We are too late to stop the suspect, I supposed—“

“YOU!” she yells and continues,

“Such a thing like this happened because of your incapability! are you two taking this seriously or not?!”

“We are going to track him down right now, I won’t let such a thing happens again” he says with a sigh.

“What do you want?!”

“How’s your team doing?” Frederica smiles, but Shimotsuki knows so well what’s behind that smile.

“We are still investigating, and if you and your guys interfere our process, I won’t stay still” Shimotsuki says while pointing her finger to the screen.

Shimotsuki plans to go home, but she hasn’t received anything from her subordinates, so she decides to stay longer in the office. But she’s too impatient, so she calls them instead,

“Progr—“ she says but her words get cuts,

“Chief, what a coincidence I just plan to reach you” the man says, he’s Inspector Shindo Arata.

“Continue…”

“We have captured the suspect, he’s unconscious now. We also collected some evidences regarding his business and it’s connection with the black market…” Arata explains.

“And…?”

“Big company?” she murmur, “—how is the product, anything strange?” she asks.

“Have you investigate the customers?” she asks.

“We got the data already, and I’ll send them to you”

“Alright, now get back to the office and brings the evidence from the black market”

“Well about that, Chief…” Arata says, nervously.

“We are now with the Suppressing Action Departement from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and they asked for the evidence for further investigation purp—“

“HAH?! NO THEY ARE NOT!”

“Stay right there and don’t let them move any inch! I’ll go to your current location!” Shimotsuki takes her bag and runs towards the lift across her office.

Shimotsuki starts her car and sets it to auto-pilot, while she calls towards Frederica Hanashiro.

“I know you will call me” the woman from other side says, she’s still at her office just like when she called her in the evening.

“If you know then stop your people from snatching away of what supposed to be mine!”

“I see, you are on your way to them right? Then I don’t have to bring myself there, one of us is enough” she smiles, and it’s testing Shimotsuki’s patience once again.

“You are not answering me!”

“Ara, in the end the upper will ask us to investigate it after all” Frederica says,

“Then it’s them to decide and not you!”

“We will invite you to our office to discuss this, take this as a request from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs to negotiate with you”

“And if I refuse?”

Shimotsuki arrives at the location, the whole Division One is there, also three people from Suppressing Action Departement. Including him. Her trusted one.

“Our chief invited you for a meeting with us to discuss this matter” he says calmly, and he adds

“Just you” Shimotsuki sighs.

“What?” says Kei, feeling unacceptable. And before he shouts at Sugo, Shimotsuki stops him,

“I only accept the offer if you let my two inspectors attending the meeting, other than that, I decline” she says, Sugo looks at his team mates, and they nod to each others.

“Very well” he answers.

“You sure took a while” Shimotsuki says as they enters the room.

“Paradon us, we are discussing something”

“Do mind it, my side also has something to do too” she says with annoyed tone.

“How is that profitable to our side?” Shimotsuki says, she frowns. He chuckles and continues,

“What do you mean?” Kei asks.

Even though, she hates to admit it, she feels tempted. It shows all over her face.

“We can use this Chief” says Arata beside her.

“Alright, then it settled” Frederica says while getting up and walks leaving the room, follows by Shinya Kougami and Sugo Teppei.

“It’s nice to have a deal with you, kanshikan” Ginoza says, definitely on purpose.

“kanshikan—“ she murmur, then follows with ‘hmph!’ while leaving the room.

Outside the meeting room, Kougami walks towards Ginoza.

“What’s wrong” Ginoza asks, Kougami only gives a smile.

“Nothing, it’s just you seem enjoying yourself” Kougami says.

“What do you mean?”

“You seem enjoy teasing your own junior” he answers.

“She is not my junior, she is my superior”

“was” Kougami corrects him. He chuckles,

“Right, ‘was’”.

“Kanshikan” someone calls over her, and it is no doubt from whom the voice is. Ginoza approaches her while she is about to open the car’s door.

“Saying, kanshikan, are you trying to mock me?” she answers, almost like shouting at him.

“I never intend it like that” he lets out a small laughs.

“Then, what do you want from me now?” she asks, ignoring his laugh.

“Nothing, it’s just are you free tonight?”

“Why are you asking?” she stares at him dumbfoundly, but Ginoza doesn’t answer the question.

“Kanshikan, will you accompany me just for tonight?” his breaths feels so hot over her skin, and it gives her shivers.

“Wha-what are you doing?!” she yells while her face is blushing. But Ginoza stay still with his awkward position.

“What happens with you?” she asks once again, but more gentle than before, noticing his weird behavior. Something is wrong, she thinks.

“Alright then, just for tonight right” she says while pushes him from her. He lets out another chuckles, and lands a kiss on the left side of her lips.

“Thank you”
