This is not exactly the original, as I used fluorescent ink on the og. Which doesn't show up on a scan, at all. So I had to go in and edit in the orange the best I could. Sad it didn't show up, same with the bright pink background, there are more blobby shapes that disappeared :<

More polished than what I usually post but I don't think I'll post it to my Insta so it's going here!

I made a fan character for Ginjaninjaowo's magical girl story, Prism! She's based on a death's-head hawkmoth.

I wanted to make one based on a cecropia moth since at first, but I had more ideas for a death's-head.

Her name is Hizumi Katsutaka!! (Based on this brief Google search)

I'm definitely not 100% satisfied with her design, but I think it's okay. At some point I may redesign her but I'm good with it for now. I've never been super into magical girls, but it's nice to get out of my comfort zone and design a character that I otherwise probably wouldn't have

oh em gee ! a prism oc !

me n my friends were buzzing about GinjaNinjaOwO / ActuallyRea 's prism characters and what they've shared of the story n world and we were talking of ocs/sonas for it and this is the lil guy i made

so person-wise is a variant of me personality/design base, the magical girl is "Ivyleague" or at least that was the temp name the whole thing with them was that they have a really comfortable life from their family being kinda ritzy and most skills coming naturally, leaving them kinda lazy and not pushing outside of their comfort zone. so as a magical girl, despite having two colors, they have a pretty dark color scheme thus average abilities, a case of a lot of untapped potential

their weapon theme i think was sap or ooze? so they have honey suckle gun to straight up shoot gunk to moreso hurt the enemy and can take out the stamen to act as a whip for closer range damage or a bolas to ensnare

- Outfit Theme: Chimera

- Weapon Theme: Beast Tamer

- Weapon: Whip

- The whip has two distinct ends; one side is like a lion’s tail and functions like a normal whip, while the other side is like a snake head and can use its fangs to grip and lock in place. The snake head side can function as a grapple, a piercing weapon, a lasso, whatever the situation calls for.
