When you FINALLY figure out the path forward for a chapter you’ve been stuck on for months

I’m ngl, I’ve been struggling with wrapping up Paradise. I’ve been afraid to write it a certain way because I don’t want it to feel super predictable or hackneyed, but like… it’s a romance story and being fairly predictable is just a feature of the trope, not a bug. So I’m trying to let that anxiety go and write it the way I want to.

All this to say, final chapter on the way. 💕

Thank you for the interest in my writing!

My oldest writing that still survives on the internet is some fanfiction on AO3, if you want to read completed works from when I was still in the Supernatural and Doctor Who fandoms. There is one more recent work that's been posted there, and I'm working on writing more, but the ratio is still mostly older works for now.

As for original work, I've been working my way back to regular, consistent writing after a 5-ish year long stretch of writing-specific burnout (on top of needing to move my writing from an ad-riddled program to a truly free one) and haven't built up much of a buffer of completed stories I could post anywhere besides Tumblr just yet.

While I'm working on that buffer and trying to decide what non-Tumblr site would be best, I've posted some excerpts from WIPs (both short stories and my various novel projects) and a handful of completed drabbles/short stories on this blog over the last few years. I try to tag my writing posts as diligently as I can with #sonder stories -- I'd recommend using a site or extension like findtags to search through that tag if you want.

As this blog has become less writing-focused, though, I've also created a sideblog called @eicenrellarchives where I'm planning to stick to just writing and writing related posts.

I'm working on getting back to ask games, tag games, short stories, and other post-able projects and I'm making good progress lately. So you'll probably get to read more of my work on both blogs soon.

If you have any suggestions for other sites/places to post writing or make it easier to share, that could help me put more things online to read too. Again, thank you for your interest and this ask!

More detail: to reach my goal’s minimum I still have to make 2 pages, and since I don’t want to risk releasing in February due to regularly having issues during February. It also gives me more time to prepare more pages and/or make some pre-webcomic release content!

“Mirabel! Mirabel, wake up!” Isabela hissed in her ear

Flailing, Mirabel shot up, the page her cheek had been stuck to thankfully not ripping. “I’m awake! I’m awake, what—” She stopped and took off her glasses, regretting all her life decisions for having fallen asleep with them on. Rubbing her eyes, she tried to hang on to the dream she’d been having. 

“I just had the weirdest dream… We were all family? And Bruno was our uncle? OH! And we were the Encantan royal family, and we had just gotten to the Encanto but then…” She started cleaning her glasses with the hem of her shirt. “Bruno died? Or maybe I did? There was some guy made of smoke…”

Mirabel finally looked up to see the others in various stages of wakefulness shaking their heads and nodding or pointing their lips towards Bruno who sat at the head of the long table they had all fallen asleep at. He had the manuscript they’d stolen open in front of him, the amulet hanging from his clasped hands. Bruno’s eyes were hard. He had a thin smile that sent a trickle of fear down Mirabel’s spine.

“And here I thought dreaming of impossible futures was my job…” He leaned forward, the tight smile fading to be replaced by that same unnerving power Isabela had described.. “I’m sure I’ll have more questions about that later, but for now, I need to know how you opened the third floor.”

Man, i am so happy to be making this dark souls comic.

Each animation is small enough to not be overwhelming like some other projects but also big enough to be a challenge.

Im making pannel after pannel.

My idea was to have two or three extra as a buffer between posts, but im already making the 7th one.
