Az is the one that will kill Nina, once again | theory

While rambling about how I believed the person in this panel is Az and thought that Nina would be executed, some mutuals pointed out that maybe the death will be metaphorical and fake because Nina’s false identity will eventually become public. But... let’s get to the part I elaborated on:

This panel, the very first page of the manga, tells us what will happen at some point in the future. We just know Nina will be killed. The most likely thought is that the person that will kill her, once again, is Azure, since he “killed” Nina and made her become Princess/Priestess Alisha (thanks for my moots for pointing it out that maybe the death was only metaphorical – which makes more sense). Going for the most unlikely (which I thought, LMAO) is the possibility of the whole thing of star people, destiny, and Nina’s desire to go against what is written in the stars made her go back in time after something bad happened.

But, despite what she is saying, let’s analyze two illustrations: the one presented before and this spread of Azure (that follows the first one):

When Nina thinks “Look at me… just once more” we see someone with their face hidden, but we can notice similarities: hair that seems to be braided, a collar very similar to the one Az has on the chapter cover, a necklace, a piece of cloth falling in his shoulders, and earrings that have the same shape as his (but that looks simplified).

I tried grasping where is Nina being conducted, but it’s very hard (although we can assume it’s Fortna) because Galgada also uses similar triangle patterns:

In conclusion, we all need to see more of the story to be able to elaborate more possible courses that could lead to Nina’s 2nd death, but, as someone who’s rooting for Az, I really hope it’s just a metaphorical death.

C’est via l’ouverture d’un site officiel pour le projet qu’a été confirmée ce jeudi l’adaptation en anime du manga Nina du royaume aux étoiles (Hoshifuru Oukoku no Nina) de Rikachi. Une affiche promotionnelle, une vidéo d’annonce ainsi que les principaux membres de la distribution artistique de la série ont notamment été présentés pour l’occasion. Nina du royaume aux étoiles : mystère, romance et imposture au pays de Fortuna L’anime Nina du royaume aux étoiles présente l’histoire de Nina, une jeune femme de tout juste 15 ans, orpheline depuis que ses parents sont morts suite à une épidémie. Pour survivre au sein d’une cité fortifiée où la maladie et la pauvreté règnent en maître, elle n’a pas d’autre choix que de voler, toujours accompagnée de Saji et Colin, deux autres orphelins dans la même situation qu’elle.Pour ne rien arranger, Nina possède également une spécificité hors du commun : ses yeux sont d’un rare bleu profond, une particularité qui lui donne une grande valeur aux yeux des marchands d’esclaves. Suite à une trahison de son ami Saji, Nina se fait enlever par deux hommes mystérieux et découvre bien vite que ses ravisseurs sont en fait sous les ordres d’Azur Seth Fortuna, le second prince du Royaume !En effet, suite à la disparition de la princesse Alisha, destinée à épouser le prince héritier Sett du royaume de Galgada, Azur recherchait une jeune femme aux yeux similaires à ceux de sa sœur pour la remplacer dans le plus grand des secrets.
