On 3 October he's back in NYC as he's invited as special guest for the event of TKOQ-us on October 4th. He's spotted doing a photoshoot for Departures. The next day pics appear, disappear and reappear again spotting him at Cafe Select with the editor of Departues, all taken on 3 October.
4 October he's at the Keepers of the Quaich event, many pics and videos are posted afterwards. (see my archive for more posts).
Tumblr media
On 5 October more kilt and press. Followed by a video shoot at Two Doors Down on October 6th. Presumably he went after the weekend on a vacation. (see below, 25 October).
On 18 October he's on Fallon Tonight mixing cocktails, definitely recorded that same day.
On 19 October he's a guest on the Kelly Clarkson Show which airs on Tuesday 24 October. All while his fandom is shocked about a mistake he made.

On 25 October he posts a video showing his comped vacation at Four Seasons Nevis clearly a latergram as he posts the same day a video in his garden which appears to be RT as he flew back the day before.
While Graham posts a pic of signing the books at Waterstones in London on 30 October, Sam posts the next day a video doing so. A combined video shows they're not signing the books together at the same time.

2 November he's at The Rake Anniversary XV party Claridge's Artspace, London

We lose track after the book release, he posts on sm on odd times as of 10th of November indicating a timezone in the eastern part of the world. At some point Nepal is speculated. 2 or 3 days he seems to be completely of the grid, when he comes back he's a lot on sm. In een interview published later on he talks about planning a trip to Everest. After 21 November he seems to be back in UK.
On 23 November a story recorded at Waterstones, Tottenham road London is posted, but it's hard to tell if this was or wasn't a latergram.
On 29 November he posts a story, showing back in the studio and captioned OL S8 Prep
The next day, 30 November he posts a video showing the trailer from LA on a plane apparently to NYC. Which is later on confirmed by another video and story and a post from Alex for St. Andrews Day. He's recording promo and visiting his friends bar.

Exploring the Himalayan Gateway: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi Jeep Journey
The journey from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi is a gateway to the pristine Langtang Valley, nestled in the Himalayas. Opting for a jeep ride for this adventure ensures not only convenience but also a scenic and memorable experience. In this blog, we delve into the factors influencing the cost of a jeep from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi and the enchanting journey that awaits.
Tumblr media
Cost Considerations
The cost of a jeep ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi can vary based on several factors:
1. Type of Jeep:
The type of jeep you choose significantly influences the cost. Standard jeeps, often shared among travelers, are more budget-friendly, while private jeeps offer a more personalized experience at a higher price point.
2. Seasonal Variations:
Prices can fluctuate depending on the season. Peak trekking seasons, typically spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), may see higher demand and, consequently, higher prices.
3. Negotiation:
Negotiation skills play a crucial role. It's advisable to inquire with multiple jeep operators in Kathmandu, compare prices, and negotiate for the best deal. Group travel can sometimes lead to lower individual costs.
On average, the cost for a shared jeep can range from NPR 2,000 to 3,000 (approximately $17 to $25 USD) per person, while a private jeep may cost between NPR 10,000 to 20,000 (approximately $85 to $170 USD) for the entire vehicle.
The Scenic Journey
As the jeep departs from the bustling streets of Kathmandu, the landscape transforms into a mesmerizing tapestry of hills, valleys, and terraced fields. The route passes through Trishuli, Dhunche, and various charming villages, offering glimpses of local life and cultural diversity.
The journey includes navigating winding roads and river crossings, providing a taste of both adventure and the stunning natural beauty that Nepal is renowned for. Snow-capped peaks may greet you in the distance, setting the stage for the trekking experience that awaits.
Practical Tips
Book in Advance: Secure your jeep well in advance, especially during peak trekking seasons.
Comfort and Safety: Prioritize a comfortable and well-maintained jeep, ensuring a safe and enjoyable journey.
Travel Essentials: Pack essentials such as water, snacks, and any personal items you may need during the journey.
Conclusion
Embarking on the Kathmandu to Syabrubesi journey by jeep is not merely a mode of transport; it's the prelude to a Himalayan adventure. The mix of diverse landscapes, cultural encounters, and the thrill of the road creates a narrative that complements the trekking experience in Langtang Valley.
As you navigate the twists and turns of the mountain roads, the anticipation of reaching Syabrubesi grows. The jeep ride becomes more than a means of transportation; it's an integral part of the journey, weaving itself into the fabric of your Himalayan adventure.

A Day in the Life of a College Student
Hello friends, today I am going to be sharing with you everything that normally occurs in my day to today life. This is gonna be a little different from the content you’re familiar with, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless ;).
Like any other college student with morning classes, my day begins bright and early. I lied. My mornings are usually super dark. At 4, I first open my eyes. It takes me another 15 minutes to truly get up. The worst part about morning classes is not the fact that it starts really early, nor is it the fact that it’s really cold. It’s the part where you try to convince yourself that this is worth it, and that at least the day classes have it worse.
I get dressed, breakfast is usually optional, but the days that I get really, really hungry, I scarf down whatever leftovers we have from the day before + some eggs. Then I brush my teeth, which may seem kinda counterintuitive but it helps with keeping me fresh-breathed.
The only reason I dread going anywhere outside my house, lies right outside my house. Imagine. It’s dark. You can barely see what’s in front of you. You forget your glasses. You turn to fetch it back, then you think if vision is really worth travelling ALL that distance AGAIN.
My friends, what I am referring to is the kilometer and a half of just WALKING on a graveled upwards slope in the pitch black of night. The number of times I’ve stubbed my toe on an unusually large rock placed smack dab in the middle of the road is astounding. I thought I was getting smarter by remembering the rock locations so I could avoid them. THE ROCKS CHANGE THEIR LOCATION TOO, as if to mock me for even trying.
After those excruciatingly long 8 minutes, I get to ride the bus. Now, anybody who knows me, knows the fact that Nepal’s public transport system (NPTS) and I get along about as well and mixing oil and water. Out of the 12 times I’ve been late for classes, 10 of those can be attributed to NTPS.
They either forget to hand me back my change, or blatantly overcharge. They wait 15 mins per stop, for 5 stops. At some point, even the driver must be praying to his God, asking to be forgiven for his sins. One time, I caught my Ratnapark bus at 5:50 AM. School starts at 6:30. It’s a 7km drive. There is no way I’m gonna be late today, right? WRONG!
The first move my bus driver pulled was a 15 minute wait two stops after I got on. The bus wasn’t even empty. A short person was jabbing their elbows in my gut. They were blasting their wedding songs for the whole neighborhood to listen. I was directly in front of the speakers. After what seemed like eons, the bus left. I couldn’t check the time because we were so tightly squished, but I was sure today was a late day.
What followed next were simply the bus doing their bus duties, going to stops, waiting for people to come out. For one person to get off, 15 others had to go first. Every time I thought “things couldn’t get any worse”, it did. We hit a bike. The traffic set up a checking stand in Jawalakhel, so we had to reroute. Seemingly, everybody on the bus HAD to get off at some point in the new route. A 10-minute detour took 18.
I am sat there, weighing out the pros and cons of missing classes today. I suffered through all that, just to get scolded for being late. When I make mistakes, it is right I get reprimanded. But when things are out of your hands, very bit of criticism hurts a tad bit more.
I was going to continue but this post has run for too long. Tune in next week for Part 2 of A Day in the Life of a College Student.

Nirjala Tamrakar Wright - aka "Mountain Queen” - The Mountain Biking National Champion of Nepal from 2001 to 2012!
Nirjala, the "Mountain Queen," was born in Kumari Pati in Kathmandu, Nepal. Nirjala is one of two children, with a younger brother who is a keen road biker. Nirjala started out in her late teens as a professional model. For this career, she was required to keep fit, and it was through going to the gym that she got into first bodybuilding and then cycling. In 2001, some friends suggested she try her luck in a mountain bike race, The Himalayan Mountain Bike Race Series, and she won the National Women's Category. This proved to be her inspiration to leave modelling and pursue a professional career as a cyclist for the Nepal National Team. Nirjala's rise to fame and to working as a professional athlete for the Nepal National Team was beset by the difficulty that arose from the patriarchy-based society in which she grew up. Although she competed at a national and international level and at a higher level than the majority of Nepalese male riders, she was marginalized by her own national cycling association, which found sponsors and endorsements for her male counterparts. Despite this, she continued and found her own sponsors (like Qoroz Professional Titanium Bikes). Nirjala's Notable Achievements:
First Nepalese Woman to cycle 22 days from Lhasa (Tibet) to Everest Base Camp (North) to Kathmandu (Nepal)
First female to Win (2 times) the Highest Altitude, Endurance race in the World, "The Yak Attack"
First Nepalese Female to win a cycle race in the UK

First Nepalese Woman to complete a cycle race of the Annapurna Circuit
Recipient of the - "Tamrakar Award Fund" - Ugrachandi Award (Nepal)
Participated in the mountain biking competition at the 16th Asian Games in China in November 2010
She is now a keynote speaker and role model for young women in Nepal and all over the world who have grown up in oppressive societies but dream of being recognized for their sports and achievements. The British writer Jane Nobel Knight wrote a book titled "The Inspiring Journeys of Pilgrim Mothers" and included a chapter on Nirjala's struggle and eventual success in her field. Nirjala is now married to her British husband, Daniel Wright, and has a son, Percy, and a daughter, Aurora. She is also a respected Mandala Artist (3-time Nepal National, Street Mandala Winner) and holds a Masters in Business Studies (MBS). Nirjala recently completed her 10km swim race on 9th July in 5 hours, organized by MediaCity UK Swim Challenge.
