Even though Ron had to take Polyjuice and break into their flat to do it, Harry and Draco would understand. They’d appreciate it.
And if Ron had done more “investigating” and less “snogging his best friend while Polyjuiced as said best friend’s secret boyfriend”, maybe it would have all been fine.
