Can you describe more of this mysterious house in HoS? I have a hard time imagining it without any reference.

Also, i'm imagining the house basement is actually a dungeon somewhat similar to Persona, but the layout changes daily, just like some proceduraly generated dungeons in certain type of games. In that case, darling can get her adventure inside with whichever Sephiroth that stayed with her at that time. But upon further thought, not much of a challenge with Sephiroth staying with her. He'll probably annihilate everything before his darling finish blinking.

So... maybe a basement room with puzzles like the game escape room will be more interesting?

I dunno... I'm throwing out random ideas and stretching out my imagination too much, or maybe you had an entirely different vision in mind? XD

(I'm still trying to figure out the details myself, so my explanation won't be complete or fully intelligible)

I gotta pull out my favorite aesthetics to help me describe this:

I'd imagine the house be elevated on a hill or maybe even a mountain, surrounded by various creepy woods. And it has an eerie and ominous atmosphere, with a goth/woodland goth theme that made the darkness seem to linger, even in the daylight.

Overgrown weeds and tall grass had begun to take over parts of the house, a testament of nature taking back its domain. I think the Sephiroths would be unnerved deep inside when it comes to the nature aspects, hehe. The house is most likely more comparable to a mansion due to its huge size, still going to call it "The House" though.

And despite the wide, open hallways of the dark house, the darling will often feel a sense of being closed in, breathing in the stale air. Is it the mad Yanderes making her feel like that or this peculiar house?

These reference pics won't be exactly the same as the others but should get my point across. Some aesthetic daydreaming under the cut.

(I imagine the backyard holds a serene, nature-made pool like the pic. The water's color is eerily reminiscent of mako. This is definitely one of the few places the darling can go to soothe her troubles away.)

If you guys would like share aesthetic pics or suggestions of your own, go right ahead! Especially if you got house exterior, living room or basements pics to share. I couldn't find anything to match the vibe/aesthetic closest.

And yes, that is a lovely idea for the basement and lower levels of the house! Being an absolute mindfuck for the darling AND the Sephiroths. I'd imagine that, in the lower levels of the house, there are some places that are relatively safe, like the cellar where the darling had taken refuge in the staircase during C.C.'s rampage. And Jenova and OG's Sephs bodies are probably just chilling nearby somewhere too... But once you descend beyond the safe zones, then that's when the fun begins.

To make it crazier, why not add a full blown catacomb system underneath it too?
