I have visited Málaga on two occasions, in August and in January. The first visit was with my family, the second at my friend and roommate’s family home. As you might guess, they were wildly different experiences, but I will summarize the highlights of the city on both occasions here.
With a population of about half a million people, Málaga is the second largest city in Andalusia, the southern…

2021
100% Vijiriega Blanca
Alberto Orte’s label focuses on producing wines from indigenous varieties and exceptional old vine, high elevation sites across a number of regions in Spain.
Atlántida Blanco is one such project, an homage to his homeland of Cádiz, using a grape that had not been seen in Cádiz or Jerez for over a century.
Foot pigeage in stainless steel tanks and fermented in oak barrels of different sizes using its own yeasts. Aged for 12 months also in barrels with lees.
A well rounded, weighty white that speaks of sun and the chalky soils of Southern Spain. Great acidity and stone fruits on the tongue with a savoury finish.
Tasting notes: stone fruit, tangerine, zest, vanilla

Plaza de España and More in Sevilla, Andalusia - Part II
What to see in Seville, Spain!
Our second day in Sevilla was filled with walking (and shade-hopping) in the extreme heat. We visited a number of the most notable sites in Spain that we didn´t get the chance to see our first day, so keep reading if you would like to know my impression and opinions on what is worth your time in the city.

No historical post here as we turn to Barcelona, Spain, to check in on some sweet smokers. And we have another Smoking Lovely to check out. This is the debut of Miriam on SmokingSweeties of Spain. Mature and hot, a dramatic combination of smoking sexiness!
HEAVY SMOKER FROM
SOUTHERN SPAIN PUFFS
AWAY HER ANXIETY!
Miriam started smoking cigarettes at young age within a family of smokers. The steady blossoming of her habit has now reached a two-packs-per-day level. And her drags are hungry and she uses her habit to relieve her anxiety. She's hooked yet embraces all aspects of the habitual routines. Born to smoke cigarettes in a steady course throughout every day. That's how Miriam has programmed herself to succeed, to carry on during the day, each day!
Miriam: "It is just in that first drag . . .
that makes me feel . . . so comfortable!"
Dual-Media Solo-Post, 19-Pack Megapost!
The habit has left its mark on her. We're told, in the post's description, that "her voice reveals her smoking condition. The sound of her smoking is clearly audible throughout the video." Let's do the math . . . If she started at age 15 (might have been younger; might not; don't know) and she is 35 y.o. (could be in her young-30s; might be mid-30s; not sure) and Miriam has averaged two packs per day, she would be at 292,000 cigarettes smoked over 20 years ⏤ 2 packs a day (730 over a year), 730 packs with 20 cigarettes in each (14,600 cigarettes a year) and that total is multiplied by 20 (years) and we get to 292,000 for the grand total. That does not make anyone more healthy! More from the description of the SSW video named Miriam: Smoking Interview:
"During the interview, she is seen smoking five cigarettes, showcasing her particular smoking style with frequent nostril exhales, cheek-hollowing drags, open-mouth inhales, dangling the cigarette from her lips, and notably visible amounts of residual smoke after each of her thick exhales."
Miriam means business when she lights up. Anxiety or calm-headed.
And a review of this video that was released in early-March 2024:
On March 4, 2024 by Ash King
"You’ve done it again. This is some incredible work. Miriam is up there with the best of all smoking women;
"A committed and wonderful smoker. The voice. The expression of delectably hungry smoking. I’m so in love. Spanish smokers rule. A+++"
