Monster Matchup: Jayce (SFW)
Tumblr media
Well! I'm back, and slowly trying to get into the swing of things. I plan on Thursday posts being posted earlier in the day rather than later. Anyways! Here's a monster matchup! If you like my work and want to read more, check out my MASTERLIST! Requests and Matchups are temporarily CLOSED!
The first time you had met him, it was actually online in a chat room that you were using to discuss different digital artist techniques, you had posted one of your most recent drawings and asked them what it was missing. Since you couldn’t quite place your finger on it.
Jayce had been the first one to respond, suggesting adding some shading in different areas while the others had echoed the same thoughts, and after mulling it over for a while, you had taken the suggestions to mind and added shading.
Only then was the piece perfect enough to post to your account, which led to you getting a new follower, the same guy from the chat room you had been in.
You had been the one to start the conversation first, sending out a quick thank you to him to which he had responded back. Though the conversation had only seemed to go from there, it started slowly at first, one message every other day or so.
Then it turned into the two of you messaging each other constantly, whether it was while you were out at a party to tell him how it was or while he was at his job telling you about some annoying thing a coworker had said to him. Eventually he had started to share pictures with you in day to day life, and you found he had a pet cat!
Finally, you had gathered enough courage to ask him where he lived, surprisingly, he didn’t live too far from you.
Wanting to meet the person behind the screen, you had suggested meeting up, which to your surprise he had agreed. You had texted one of your friends to come along with you, and since he worked at a museum, a very public place, you had full confidence going out to meet him.
What you weren’t expecting was a 7 foot tall drider with snow white hair and red eyes to be standing in front of where you were supposed to meet the friend you had made online. You stood there shocked for a moment or two before walking up to him and introducing yourself.
He had smiled at you, and introduced himself as Jayce, or Jay for short, and then he very happily showed you and your friend around the museum, explaining all of the different exhibits and even giving you a bit of a backstage tour since he had clearance.
The stone pathway that led up to the museum was familiar to you now, as was the drider who was just starting an afternoon tour that consisted of fourth graders who really could care less about what he had to say and cared more about getting to the dinosaur exhibit. You leaned against the check in desk, the demon behind the counter had grown familiar with you and would let you come and go as you please since you were mainly here for him anyway.
His gaze had landed on you, and a sweet smile had spread across his features as he had led the kids over to the interactive dinosaur dig site that they had set up recently since there had been an increase in schools wanting to take field trips there. The teacher had looked mildly annoyed that she had to pay attention to the kids now but Jayce strode over to you like he could have cared less.
“I thought you were busy today?” He asked once he had reached you, he leaned down, pulling you into a hug that had made you always feel secure with him. “If I would’ve known you were coming, I would’ve scheduled the field trip for later in the day…” He huffed quietly as he pulled away.
You merely beamed up at him in response. “Well, I thought I’d come and surprise you today, but I see that you’re busy, I could always come…-” You were cut off as Jayce had pulled you closer to him and leaned down to press a brief kiss to your lips.
“Nonsense, in fact, since you’re here, why don’t you help me give the tour?” He suggested as he led you over to where the fourth graders were currently having the time of their lives.
“Sure, and then we can go out for lunch!” You laughed as he rolled his eyes playfully at you. “There’s a new restaurant that opened up that we could try.”

To Love and Be Loved (Aldran: SFW)
Tumblr media
Back with another monster matchup! This one featuring a short Minotaur and his tall girlfriend! All he wants to do is make some breakfast! *Disclaimer: None of the pics are mine, all credit goes to the original artists!
If you like my work and want to read more, check out my MASTERLIST!
-Monster Matchups are CLOSED TEMPORARILY!
-Requests are OPEN!
You couldn’t help but laugh quietly at how your boyfriend was pouting up at you, his tail swishing from side to side as a huff came from him. “What? Can’t reach it?” You teased the smaller minotaur gently, another huff came from him as he shook his head. “Need me to get it for you?” You asked with another giggle as your boyfriend merely grumbled in response to the question.
“Yes please.” He finally sighed after a moment, you reached down and gently ruffled the curly fur on top of his head, he rolled his eyes playfully and shuffled off to the side, waiting for you to grab the pancake mix from the top shelf.
You reached up and grabbed the pancake mix from the shelf, you placed it down on the counter for him and pressed a kiss to the top of his head. “There you go.” You hummed as you stepped back as Aldran took the mix and immediately began to work on making breakfast for the two of you. With a smile, you wrapped your arms around his shoulders and then rested your chin on top of his head.
He chuckled softly as he flipped one of the pancakes over, tilting his head back he pressed a kiss to your cheek. “Thank you…” He cooed softly as he then focused back on making breakfast with a hum.
“You don’t need to thank me for getting stuff off of the shelf for you.” You responded as you gave him a gentle squeeze. He huffed softly in response and then turned to face you after he had plated the pancakes.
“Yes I do, without you I don’t know how I’d make breakfast in the morning since the mix is always up on the top shelf!” He protested, reached up to poke your nose in response, something he always did when he was trying to prove a point. “I need someone tall to stuff down for me, and well, you are tall! Which I love, just like I love you!” He grumbled as he crossed his arms, looking about as menacing as a kitten right now.
You could only shake your head in response as he rattled on about how great you were as he finished making breakfast, and by the end of it, you had sneaked the mix back up on the top shelf. It gave you something to look forward to in the morning, little did you know that Aldran knew exactly what you were doing and he was more than happy to indulge in it every morning.

Parent Teacher Meetings (Quintyn: SFW)
Tumblr media
Another request! This one I struggled with a little bit at first, I loved the idea but had so many different ways I wanted to take it, it was hard to settle on one, I may revisit something like this again in the future! *Disclaimer: None of the pics are mine, all credit goes to original artists!
If you like my writing and want to read more, check out my MASTERLIST!
-Requests and Matchups are temporarily closed!
Quintyn was the librarian though he didn’t look like one, standing at about 6’1, he was intimidating to say the least. His black hair was usually tied back into a ponytail or a bun, which he pulled off effortlessly.
Being an orc, many of the preschoolers had questions for him, what was his life like, did his tusks bother him, and so on. He took the questions and answered them to the best of his abilities with a smile.
You had met him the first day you had started, you were unsure of where to go and he had asked if you needed assistance, to which you had replied yes and were grateful for.
Though it was painfully obvious many of the single moms and dads had developed a crush on the easy-going librarian, and he was oblivious to many of their advances.
It took nearly half a year for you to work up the courage to say yes when he kept asking you to go out on dates, with the encouragement of some of the other teachers at a get-together. They had seen how the two of you interacted and it was obvious that the librarian was into you.
Though it didn’t take you nearly as long to say yes when he proposed to you a year later.
“Quintyn?” You questioned as you made your way towards the library, hearing laughter coming from several of the students as they raced ahead of you. The orc sitting behind his desk as a line was formed to check out several books, you smiled slightly at seeing some of the titles considering they had been your favorite growing up. Though when he heard you calling for him, he looked up and offered a smile, motioning for you to sit beside him at the desk. Not needing to be asked a second time, you made your way over and took the spot beside him, helping him check the books out for the kids.
“You have parent-teacher meetings tonight right?” He asked as he looked over at you, you nodded in response, reaching out he brushed a few strands of your brunette hair away from your features. “I’ll wait for you, that way we can go home together.” He responded softly, the kids giggling quietly at how ‘gross’ the two of you were acting. Which only caused him to laugh, telling the kids that one day they’ll be acting the same way when they find someone to love.
“I don’t know how it’s going to go, Angie’s mom has not been thrilled that she has been flunking most of the assignments even with help. I’ve emailed her, called and even spoken to Angie as well to see what kind of help she needs so we can have her pass. She says that she just doesn’t want to do the assignments.” You sighed softly, opting to have your class spend the rest of study hall in the library reading.
By the time that the end of the day had rolled around, you were preparing for the last of your parent-teacher meetings, you had saved Angie for last. When her mom had walked in with her, you took a breath as the tiefling took a seat across from you, an ear piece attached to her ear as she idly picked at her nails as though she had somewhere better to be than here.
“I see that Angie had done incredibly well at the beginning of the year, she was acing everything and doing fantastic for someone in preschool…” You started once her mom had given you her attention. “But towards the middle here, she had started to get bored and stopped doing her assignments. I have tried everything, I spoke to Angie directly and she had stated that she just didn’t want to do them.” You were getting the sense that the reason Angie didn’t want to do the assignments was due to the fact that her mom was barely paying attention to what you were saying.
“Then do them for her. No daughter of mine will be caught flunking preschool. Besides, how hard can it be to take a few minutes out of your day to do them? There’s what, maybe two assignments tops?” Her mom questioned as her gaze narrowed at you. “I don’t have time to sit and be lectured by someone beneath me. I have more important business matters to attend to.”
“Miss, I cannot do her assignments for her, that is against my policy and wouldn’t be teaching her anything…” You were cut off before you could finish the statement.
“Then you figure it out or I will be contacting the principal to get you fired and have a replacement that would be willing to make exceptions for some students.” She growled as she stood, taking Angie’s hand. “We are done here, you have a week to make sure my darling passes or it’s your job.” She warned as she stormed out of the class with Angie.
You sat there for a few moments, gathering your thoughts and feeling more frustrated than before as you collected your things. Quintyn had managed to have perfect timing as he caught you stuffing your laptop into its bag rather haphazardly. “It didn’t go as planned?” He asked, to which you shook your head as you cleared your throat, fighting back tears that threatened to spill.
“No, she basically threatened to go to the principal if I don’t fix things myself or do Angie’s work for her, which I cannot do. You know that.” You ranted for a moment as he came over and wrapped his muscular arms around you. “It’s unfair, my job is to help them… Why… Parents are so difficult!” You finished as you hugged onto him tightly, he pressed a kiss to the top of your head and held you for a few moments longer.
“I know, I just had to have a young boy’s mom replace a book that he had colored in and she was not happy about that.” He murmured softly, scooping you up in one arm and grabbing your stuff with the other. “Let’s go home okay? I’ll cook dinner tonight.”
“Will you make me my favorite?” You asked as you glanced up at him with hopefulness, he could only laugh at your big brown doe eyes, practically pleading for him to make the dish.
“Of course, what kind of husband would I be if I didn’t make my wife her favorite when she was feeling upset?” He questioned as he carried you out to your shared car, setting you in the passenger side as you giggled softly, ready for him to take you home.

hello! i'm looking for a match up :). I don't mind if it's either nsfw or sfw. Whatever you feel like <3. I also prefer a male- but if you have anyone else in mind I don't care ^^
I'm a woman, 5'7 curvy and particularly heavyset in the chest- which causes bad back pain lmao. I keep my hair short, like really short. Definitely boyish. And it's brown and wavy. I have hazel green eyes and usually wear button up shirts and floral blouses. Otherwise I just wear whatever it comfortable.
I am a digital and traditional artist! I enjoy drawing and writing horror pieces. ((Usually horror romance but....shh.)) And my favorite genre of anything is horror. I don't like watching movies really- but I'm definitely usually down for horror films! I spend a lot of time listening to music as well- usually electronic dance music, or even classical occasionally. I also love nature! I enjoy going on walks in the forest and just relaxing. Along with this I also have a habit of collecting things like a crow ... I have large amounts of cool bottles in my room- most of which being alcohol even though I strictly don't drink. I just find them neat!
I'm decently extroverted? But I'm also really- really shy. I don't know how to talk to people well- so it makes me seem like more of an introvert . Though I do enjoy going to parties and gatherings! I'm creative and imaginative- and typically get lost in thought or my own little world.
I don't really know what I look for in a significant other. Probably someone who can protect me- and show they care for me in their own way. So really- As long as they are a decent being I really don't mind!
Anyway you don't have to do this! But I'd be happy if you did. I love your writing!
Hi there!!! <3
I think Jayce would be the perfect fit for you!

Announcement!
I know I've said this before in the past, but, I have a ton of requests sitting in my inbox, some from quite a long time ago.
I'm hoping to start working on them more now that I have a bit more time and now that I'm not working two jobs that required my full attention.
I can't guarantee how fast I'll be able to pump these fics out, or how quick I'll post them. But I will shoot to at least post once a week. Probably on Thursdays as that's my only day off during the actual week, or on Saturdays. My writing skills may be a bit rusty but I have two friends who are more than happy to help with editorial stuff
For those that have just recently followed me, welcome!

The Cat and the Dog (Luciene: SFW)
Tumblr media
It’s been awhile since I wrote a full fledged story! I stopped myself at nearly 2k words. But! This one features a Manticore working at an animal shelter who adores cats! Meanwhile the reader loves dogs! *Disclaimer: None of the pictures are mine, all credit goes to original artists!
If you like my work and want to read more, check out my MASTERLIST!
-Requests and Matchups are CLOSED TEMPORARILY!
The sound of dogs barking made a smile spread across your features as you pulled open the doors to the shelter. Sighing in content, you began to make your way down the steps to the dog ward where some of your favorite residents were. Greeting several of the other workers, you grabbed a leash and headed straight towards your favorite shelter dog, an older mixed breed that only had one eye and several scars along his body with soft brown fur. The dog, Buster, immediately perked up as he had seen you approaching, his tail thumped against the bars of his cage and he woofed quietly at you.
“I know, it’s been a bit huh?” You said as you opened the cage doors and immediately kneeled down to pet Buster as he leaned his whole weight onto your legs, once you had kneeled down however, he crawled into your lap practically demanding belly rubs. Which you were more than happy to provide as he attempted to lick your hands while he was laying on his back, it only made you laugh at the expression he had while you gave him affection.
“You wanna go for a walk?” You questioned, immediately Buster scrambled to his feet and jumped up on his back legs excitedly with a louder bark that caused several of the others to bark in unison, all the workers collectively working on trying to get them to quiet down.
“Buster, inside voice.” You commanded, the dog quieting his barks to something much more manageable. You thanked him and then gave him a treat before clipping the leash onto his collar, leading him outside of the cage and shutting the door behind you. “Ready to go?”
He wagged his tail and woofed in response, giving what you assumed was a yes. Though as you made your way towards the steps, you huffed softly as a figure was coming down them. “Luciene, what are you doing down here?” You asked the manticore as he was walking by you.
“Heading to the isolation award. New cats are here.” He responded with a huff as he spared you a glance. “You know that we get new ones every week.” He stated matter-of-factly as he headed through the doorway.
The pair of you had been in a weird limbo ever since he had started working here, you had tried to introduce him to several of the dogs, including Buster but he had told you that he preferred cats to dogs and would rather stay away from dogs. In a way, you had taken offense since Buster was your favorite, and everyone had loved him. You had decidedly ignored Luciene whenever he was around, and the same had gone for him. Only the staff had tried to get you two to talk on more than one occasion and it had never worked out the way that you had hoped, you never held a fondness for cats like what Luciene did, it was hard to talk when he talked about the shelter cats, though you supposed you only talked about the dogs.
Letting your thoughts wander, you let Buster lead the way up the steps and towards the front door where he had pushed it open with his front paws. You followed him out, glancing around before deciding to take a path different from the usual route, Buster glanced back at you with a questioning look but walked right beside you and kept pace. He paused occasionally to sniff at the ground, which you let him, before continuing on your way.
That is, until you heard soft cries coming from a bunch of bushes off of the dirt path you and Buster had turned onto. You paused briefly, glancing around before the cries grew in volume. Desperate. Whatever it was, it was desperate. It only took a few moments for you to realize that it was a cat, or cats, crying. Buster’s ears had perked up and he had immediately begun to drag you towards the source of the cries.
Once you were sure you were near wherever the cats were, Buster had broken free of your grasp with a bark and took off into some bushes. You blinked at the leash that was slowly disappearing into the bush, it took a moment for it to sink in before you realized that Buster had broken free. “Buster!” You called out as you chased after him in the bushes.
Another bark came from Buster as he had popped his head out of a thorny bush, you had seen a flash of white and black before he had disappeared into the bush again. The cries died down before picking back up again, much quieter this time as Buster had carefully climbed out of the bushes with a kitten in his mouth. You kneeled down, taking the small creature from the dog and holding onto it as he went back into the same bush.
After several back and forth trips, you had four kittens in your arms while the mother cat was being carried by Buster, she was wounded and needed immediate medical attention. Without a second thought, you had grabbed Buster’s leash and began to speed walk back to the shelter with the kittens bundled up in your arms while he carried the others. Upon your arrival, the front desk worker gasped once she had seen the mom cat and had rushed off to grab one of the vets on duty. Talk began to spread and soon enough the manticore was in front of you, eyeing up the kittens with a fondness before glancing down at you with a slight question to his gaze.
“I’m surprised you didn’t call someone else to get them.” He huffed as you began to hand him the kittens, he carefully placed them on his back and wrapped his wings around them to keep them steady so they wouldn’t fall off.
“I wouldn’t leave any animal out there to just… suffer.” You responded as you crossed your arms, a frown tugging at the corner of your lips.
The manticore seemed to be studying you, and for the first time you had really taken in his features, he was sleek in appearance, his fur a deep grey with tiger stripes while his wings resembled that of a bat. His tail was more like a scorpion’s than anything else, while his human features were sharp, his eyes were dark and despite the slight frown tugging at his lips, you found him attractive overall. Feeling your features start to heat up in response at the realization, you glanced away and cleared your throat.
“Even if they are a cat, I wouldn’t leave them alone, everyone deserves a fighting chance.” You stated as you turned to talk to the vet tech that had come up to ask some questions and give some feedback on what the vet had said.
“I don’t think Buster is as bad as the others.” Luciene commented as he then made his way into the cat ward to introduce the kittens to the others, a soft smile gracing your features at the admission. After getting everything squared away and Buster back into his cage for the night, you had made your way back home.
What you didn’t expect was to wake to a text the following morning, you shifted and squinted at your phone screen since the light was nearly blinding this early in the morning. A grumble came past your lips as you read over it before you smiled.
“Thanks for saving the kittens and the mom cat, the vet found she had broken both her front and back legs. They think she may have mis-landed when she jumped off of something and dragged herself back to the kittens… Perhaps you could take me on one of your walks with Buster? -Luciene”
You saved the number into your phone and eagerly responded with a yes that he could come on the next walk with you and Buster. With a pep in your step you tossed some clothes on and got ready to head out, sending a text to Luciene to make sure he was there that morning as you slipped on your shoes and headed outside. With the shelter only being a ten minute walk from your house, you had simply opted to walk instead of drive there.
Surprise spread through you as Luciene was waiting outside the door with Buster, the dog eagerly bouncing around and trying to play with the manticore, which only seemed to confuse him as a quiet rumble left him. Though he was unsure, he at least attempted to ruffle the dog’s fur and give him some attention, it was clear he didn’t have much experience with dogs, a laugh erupted from you as he grimaced when Buster jumped up to lick his face.
His gaze snapped towards yours and a smile worked its way onto his features. “I’m glad you're here, I don’t know how much longer I could’ve stood… He’s so… energetic…” He explained awkwardly as he passed you the leash.
“I know, he’s a good dog though, I promise.” You reassured as you took the leash from him and motioned for him to follow. “We’ll go our usual way, it’ll be good for a short walk to start you out with, you can join us this evening for the second walk of the day. That one usually wears him out.” You explained as Luciene hummed in response.
“I’ve never really been around dogs…” He admitted as he followed along beside you. “When I was young, the neighbors had a nasty dog and… Because I was well… A glorified cat, he saw me as nothing more than a chew toy, so he would chase me all over.” He explained further. “I don’t trust them but… If it means so much to you… I’m at least willing to try.” He murmured sheepishly as a flush came over his face.
“I had a cat attack me when I was young, I didn’t know how to read the body language well.. It didn’t end well for me, I ended up with some stitches but… I heard the kittens crying and I didn’t want to leave them there alone.” You explained as the pair of you walked.
By the end of it, Luciene had ended up making you laugh and you had gotten to know each other a lot better than what you thought was possible at the start. He paused outside the shelter doors as you had moved towards them. “I unfortunately have to go to my job, I can’t stay any longer…” He said as he held the door open for you.
“That’s okay, perhaps next time we meet it could be at a restaurant? Make it a date?” You decided to try, at least if he rejected you, you could remain friends with him without pursuing something more.
The manticore seemed stunned for a moment, unable to say anything before he cleared his throat and nodded. “A date sounds lovely, I’ll text you after work and we’ll discuss the details then?”
You agreed, both of you leaving with smiles on your faces, the workers asking you what was up but you had brushed it off as simply having a good morning. At least now you didn’t have to dread passing the cat ward every time you went into the shelter, Luciene gave you something to look forward to.

Per my last post, requests and matchups are temporarily closed until I get caught up, anything sent in after this post will get a response of "requests are closed" to keep my inbox down so I know where I'm at. Not only that but please keep in mind this is an 18+ ONLY blog, mentioning your age in a request only serves to get it deleted if you are under 18. I will be updating my rules as well within the next couple of days.
Once it is posted that requests are open again, you can resend them in, I just don't have the ability to keep accepting new requests right now. So to reiterate, this blog is 18+ ONLY since I have NSFW on it. Do not request if you are under 18. Requests/Matchups are closed temporarily. There will be a rule update for both monster matchups and regular requests. Thank you.

A New Perspective (Lance: SFW)
Tumblr media
Yikes, I said I was gonna get back into the swing of things but here I am a month later completing old requests! Finally here is the merfolk fic that I was talking about that features a lamprey based merman! As always! Requests are OPEN! Matchups are CLOSED temporarily!  If you like my work and want to read more, check out my masterlist!
The sound of footsteps echoed down the hallway, alerting the newest specimen that someone was coming to check on them. He hated this part, he’d get poked and prodded and have stuff rubbed on him that burned his scales. A low growl came from him as he curled up underneath the small cave that was provided to him in what was considered his new home. A tank just barely big enough for him to turn around in while he was being experimented on.
He hated every second of this. He was supposed to be something that was feared among his own kind due to the nature he held. He was wasting away here and he wanted to get out, he wanted his freedom back but there was nothing he could do with how much they were weakening him. However, he perked up slightly once he heard your voice, you were the only person in this lab that actually made his day considering you would sit by his tank and talk about everything and anything with him even if he couldn’t respond.
“It’s really not that complicated Marlene.” You spoke to the other girl who usually accompanied you on your nightly walks, but she often left you alone to go check on the other experiments that they had in different rooms. “We just…” The conversation that you were sharing with Marlene tapered off until he could no longer hear your sweet voice. He knew that he was always the last stop of the night for you because you enjoyed his presence just as much as he enjoyed yours.
He laid outside of his cave, waiting for you to come by, except, you never did. A frown covered his features as he slipped back into his cave and let his eyes slide shut as he drifted off into a light sleep. Small bubbles coming from him as he snored lightly.
He was jolted awake however as the water from his tank began to slosh around, a low hiss coming from him as he curled up tighter in his cave. What he was not expecting however, was to see you pop up in his field of vision. He blinked at you slowly, a curious look coming across his features as he watched you, you merely offered him a sheepish smile as the sloshing started again.
“Just trust me. I promise everything will be okay Lance.” You reassured him as he merely nodded in response.
There were a few more minutes of the water sloshing around before you wheeled out what looked like a giant fish tank, his gills flared up again and he bared his fangs at you, which in a way was intimidating because he had so many rows of them. “I’m gonna get you out.” You stated as you climbed up to his tank and held your arms out for him. The lamprey merman looked up at you, hesitation coming across his features as he seemed to be thinking about it before he finally swam up to the water’s surface to meet you there. He reached out towards you and you helped him out of the tank and carefully lowered him into the giant fishbowl looking one. He had noted that it had wheels, so you were taking him elsewhere? He supposed that it wasn’t such a bad thing considering you were going to be there, or at least he hoped.
He was lured into security by the sound of you pulling this giant fish bowl along, his dark eyes never leaving your form for a second, though when you made a slow turn around a corner, his gills flared at Marlene who was standing watch with a door open.
“Think they saw us?” She asked, though you merely shook your head in response, a quiet huff coming from you at the effort you needed to pull this thing along.
“No, I spent months studying this place and how it worked, there’s no way that the machines would be up and running at this point.” You explained as you tugged the fishbowl out of the door, Marlene gave you a sort of sympathetic smile.
“I’m going to miss you ya know? I know you’re not coming back after this, and I found another job so… If you find me, promise you’ll stop and say hi okay?” She asked softly before pulling you into a brief hug right as the lights began to turn back on one by one. “Now go!”
There was an undertone of sadness to your expression despite the determination that covered most of your features. You pulled the fish bowl along, there was a lot more to it than just this, what it was Lance wasn’t sure considering you didn’t seem to be stopping. He mulled it over in his mind before he curled up on the bottom of the tank, wrapping his large eel-like tail around himself as he drifted off to sleep, if he imagined it hard enough the sloshing water was like the sound of the ocean waves.
It had felt like days had gone by the next time Lance had stirred. He blinked awake and stretched, only to realize that you had managed to lug him all the way to the bay. The sound of waves crashing against the sand stirred a familiar longing within him and he couldn’t help but haul himself up to the surface of the water in his tank. A quiet huff came from him as he lifted himself over the top of it, fueled mainly by the need to be back in the ocean. He yelped as he landed on the sand rather roughly before he shook it off and lifted himself up on shaky arms as you had rushed over to his side, he gave a warning growl but you merely smiled in response and carefully picked him up.
Once the cold water had washed over him, he hissed slightly. After being trapped as an experiment for months he wasn’t quite ready for the coldness just yet, but it was home. He glanced back at you, almost unsure before you gave a faint smile in response. “Marlene helped the others escape too, she had her own agenda.” You explained as he merely responded with a huff.
Well, one thing could be said for certain was that you really did care about others, unlike most humans. Lance took one look at the rolling waves and took a breath, he waited for the next wave before pushing himself back into the watery depths. Leaving you with nothing more than a single splash of water from his tail. You smiled faintly, there was a faint feeling of emptiness in your chest but you knew that it would go away over time. You would miss sitting and talking to him, not that he ever did much, you always did all of the talking.
What you weren’t expecting months later, was to find the same merman relaxing on the sandy shore. The scientists had been exposed to the public and were immediately shut down because of their unethical treatment of living beings. You smiled faintly as you walked over to the sunbathing merman, the same warning growl you had received that night coming from him.
“I didn’t quite expect to see you again.” You commented as you sat down by him, the merman turning to look at you, he blinked slowly before a smile came onto his features, revealing the many rows of teeth he had.
“It’s good to see you again, friend.” You said before delving into what you had been doing over the last couple of months, what you didn’t know was that he had missed you just as much.

Coffee and Hay Rides (Illus: SFW)
Tumblr media
It’s been awhile guys! I’m gonna start getting back into the swing of things, once I figure out what days of the week work best for me (Either Saturday or Sunday) I’m gonna start posting at least once a week depending on how this new job goes. Otherwise! I’m still working on the merfolk fic that I have in progress, I figured this would do in the mean time as I was a bit inspired by it being fall! Expect another update soon with some news. If you like my work and want to read more, check out my MASTERLIST! Requests are OPEN! Match-ups are OPEN! *Disclaimer: None of the pictures belong to me, all credit goes to the original artists.
“You’re in love with them.” His friend spoke from across the table, a small smile crossing his features as he watched. His friend watched the orc tense intently, a chuckle leaving the werewolf as he had pointed out the obvious.
“Shut up.” Illus spoke softly with a quiet huff as he watched you make your way back over to the table where all of your friends were sitting. It was routine at this point, he and his friend would go to the cafe the same day you would meet up with your friends. He was captivated by you, the way you laughed and smiled. It had even become routine for you to offer them a small wave when you saw them enter the cafe, you didn’t even know their names and yet you were acting as though you were friends with them.
“Why don’t you go talk to them?” Adrien, the werewolf, prodded a little more as he took a sip of the pumpkin spice coffee that he had ordered. Illus personally could not stand the flavor, he much preferred his coffee with just a splash of cream and sugar in it.
Illus shook his head in response to the question, completely avoiding it as his gaze drifted to the multicolored leaves outside. Autumn was beginning to set in and it was probably the orc’s favorite time of year, after all he had decided to volunteer at his local farm to help run the hay rides that people of any age seemed to enjoy. “Don’t be stupid, they’re far out of my league.” He muttered almost bitterly, you were like an ethereal being to him, you could do no wrong.
“You’ll never know until you try!” Adrien huffed at him from across the table. “You know what? I’m going to do something about this.” He stated as he set down his coffee and stood, walking over to the table where you were sitting. Illus couldn’t quite hear the conversation that was going on, but mere moments later he heard your laughter and Adrien chuckling.
“Come over here Illus!” The werewolf called, he didn’t want to outright refuse his friend considering it would appear rude, but he was nervous. Debating it for a brief moment, the orc finally stood, grabbing his friend's coffee before making his way over to the table and taking a seat at it.
“Hi!” You exclaimed happily, introducing yourself before continuing. “I’m glad you two came over here! We see you all the time here when we come out for coffee and wanted to get to know you, but none of us could work up the courage to actually ask you guys to come sit with us.” You explained with a faint flush to your features as though you were embarrassed about the whole thing.
“It’s alright, we saw you guys too and couldn’t figure out how to introduce ourselves. My name is Adrien and this is Illus.” The werewolf motioned to the orc with a grin. “He’s volunteering to run the hay rides at the pumpkin patch this year.”
You practically lit up at the mention of that and smiled widely at the orc. “Really? We were actually planning on going there next weekend as a group!” You explained excitedly. “So we’ll see you there? Maybe you could show us the best place to find the biggest pumpkins.”
“Maybe, if I learn where they keep all the good ones by then.” Illus chuckled quietly, though as excited as what you had sounded for the pumpkin patch, he didn’t want to get his hopes up. The rest of the get together had gone smoothly and at the end of it, you had swapped numbers and promised him that you would be there next weekend at the pumpkin patch.
It was rainy that day, the day you had told him that you would be there at the pumpkin patch, it was getting late, almost closing time and not many people had been there that day. He tried to mask his disappointment, that is, until he caught sight of a bright yellow raincoat as someone had rushed up to the wagon portion of the hayride. He wasn’t expecting you to look up at him with a wide smile as he felt his heart skip a beat at that.
“I told you I’d come!” You chimed in a cheerful voice that caused the orc to smile down at you. “I kept my promise! I hope you kept yours with the pumpkins!”
He did in fact, since there was no one else around he had taken the time to get out of the tractor and show you exactly where he had seen some huge pumpkins in the field earlier, and had even offered to carry it back to your car. It wasn’t long after the pumpkin patch that you had been the first to ask him out on a date, deciding to take a risk. You were very thrilled when he responded with a yes. You knew that it could only get better from there, and it did as you two had quickly become partners not long after that.
All because you had just happened to be in the coffee shop on the same days, you were thankful to have Illus in your life just as he was thankful to have you in his.

A Royal’s Affections (Ailen: SFW)
Tumblr media
Another request done! This time featuring an elf prince and a plus sized reader! If you like my work, and want to read more, check out my Masterlist! Requests are CLOSED at the moment but will hopefully open back up soon! *Disclaimer: None of the artwork is mine! All credit goes to the original artists!
You heard the whispers on the street, you were nothing more than a mere human that the king had taken pity on and allowed you to stay within their kingdom. But… That didn’t stop the others and their cruel words, they saw you as inferior in every way possible. They were all slim and regal, meanwhile you struggled to accept the curves of your body living in a kingdom like this. Their words lashed at your skin like an invisible whip and made you cover up more, or at least attempt to in order to hide more of yourself from their angry gazes. Nowadays you only went out when you had to, not because you wanted to but you did need to buy food from the markets at some point, you couldn’t keep surviving off of the instant food they sold.
Even as you wound your way through the streets that were less traveled, you could still feel the stares of those who had watched you from the comforts of their homes and the whispers that followed after that. Fat. Inferior. A stupid human. It stung and you quickened your pace to make it to the markets, you didn’t want to be out longer than what you had to be. You had tried every way possible to get them to like you, but it seemed that they wanted nothing more than to see you suffer.
Except for one, Ailen.
The heir to the throne and the king’s son, many of the townspeople bowed down to him and kissed the ground he walked on as they knew that he would be taking over the throne soon. But he had blatantly ignored them, the first time he saw you he had followed you down several streets until you had given him your name. Only then did he flash an award-winning smile before testing your name out on his tongue, when he was satisfied he had taken your hand in his and pressed a kiss to the back of it. A hint of a promise playing on his sharp features as he looked up at you and told you that he would be seeing you again sometime soon.
He moved with an air of grace surrounding him, always radiating the aura of someone important and many of the townspeople played into that. He would always catch you in the marketplace and insist on accompanying you on your day’s outing. The townspeople would eye you as if you were a piece of trash to be tossed away, but with the prince’s presence around, they wouldn’t dare say anything to you directly. The prince, or Ailen as he had insisted you called him, was much softer on you than what he was on his kingdom. Anything you had done incorrectly when it came to the elf culture he had gently corrected you and told you the proper way to handle things in which you’d thank him by giving him small gifts to show your appreciation.
Which is where you may have gone… wrong?
Or right, he had taken it as though you were trying to court him and win his affections, which you had to hastily explain that giving gifts to others were just sometimes meant to show your appreciation. Like you had appreciated him telling you about his culture. At which point he had tossed his head back and laughed, messy brown hair tumbling over his shoulders as he looked back at you and grinned. The pair of you had made your way to his study, the king greeting you kindly as well as the queen who had made a jab at her son for not introducing you to them sooner.
“You humans are weird.” He spoke fondly, his green eyes lighting up in amusement as he glanced down at you. With the light coming in from the windows, you could make out the tiny freckles he had that ran across the bridge of his nose and painted his cheeks.
“You elves are weird.” You retorted with a laugh of your own. You hadn’t missed the way a blush crept up his neck and settled across his features.
“There’s… something I wish to discuss with you.” He spoke softly, straightening up as if it was a business matter. Butterflies rose up in your stomach, and not the good kind, as your mind took over. Thoughts raced across your mind at lightning speed, making it hard to distinguish one from the other as you waited. He had seemed to sense the anxiety you felt and he reached across the table to take hold of your hand, a gesture used to capture your full attention.
“I want to court you.” He managed to get out though it seemed difficult, you were taken back by how blunt he was with the statement. “I have for a while and that’s why I had gotten excited when you had started showering me with little trinkets.”
“Oh.” You paused briefly, that… wasn’t quite the answer you had wanted to give him. “I… Ailen, what will the townspeople say? You know what they think of me, they think I’m lower than dirt and you… are well, the prince! Soon to be king!”
“And so you shall be the soon-to-be queen!” He retorted with a huff of annoyance before standing and walking over to you, he took hold of your chin and tilted it up to kiss you sweetly on the lips. “They are simple minded people who only seem to stick to the old ways. I don’t care what they say about you or how you look, I love you. All of you, and I want to court you properly.”
“I… Okay.” You whispered softly, though Ailen looked as though he had gotten the best gift ever with the smile that lit up his face.
“I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed and… They won’t say anything more about you.” He said simply.
He was right, after simply being together for a few weeks, the townspeople had stopped talking about you in a negative light all together and instead had begun to greet you. You still couldn’t forgive them for how they had treated you originally, but, you spoke to them politely while Ailen would rest his head on your shoulder and wrap his arms around you only to squeeze you to him so that he could feel you. He had taken to loving on you like this all the time in public, and it didn’t stop there.

A Nameless Moment (Hyde: SFW)
Tumblr media
Howdy! This was another request from awhile ago that I struggled with a little bit before I finally settled on something I felt satisfied with. A few more fics will be posted in the upcoming weeks! Especially since I have time off this weekend for my bday! (It’s on Oct.31st!). Anyways! If you like my work and wanted to read more, check out my MASTERLIST! As always, REQUESTS ARE OPEN! MATCHUPS ARE CLOSED! *Disclaimer: None of the pictures are mine! All credit goes to original artist!
“Please don’t leave me.” The statement rang out clear in the still silence, Hyde had paused in his steps, you had sounded so broke, so… Desperate to have him stay. But he knew if he did he would only cause you pain, and he did not want that. He wanted you to be happy, to be free of the nightmares that had plagued you for so long.
“I can’t… It’s really not that complicated…” He spoke, his tone softer than usual, which did nothing more than to fuel your need to make him stay.
“It is! You won’t even give me a reason as to why you are leaving me! Like everyone else has!” The words stung him, he knew of your past and what it entailed, but he never imagined he would find himself in the same situation as the others. “Please… you and my dog are all that I have left…” Your voice was a mere whisper, something not easily heard by others.
He couldn’t bear to look at you as he had left the house, ignoring your cries for him as he had begun to run, he wanted to get as far away as possible. Most ghosts were tethered to a specific place or object, but Hyde? He was tied to nothing, and he enjoyed it that way since it let him be able to run from whatever problem he was facing at the time.
That was months ago, the ghost had begun to long for your presence, he wanted nothing more than to curl up on the chair across from you and listen to you read out loud since you somehow always knew that he was there. A faint smile had come across his features as he thought back on the moments the two of you had shared in silence. He wouldn’t admit it, but he was nervous returning back to you, especially considering the state he had left you in, for that he would never be able to truly make it up to you no matter what he would do.
Your house was still the same as he had remembered it, except now you had planted a beautiful garden out front like what you had said you were going to do many months ago. You had claimed that it would make the place more lively and he had snorted at the statement. He had taken his time walking up the steps and simply phasing through the door, glancing around, he noticed that it was impeccably clean. You had only ever done heavy cleaning like that when you were upset, or feeling something else entirely too strong.
The sound of barking had interrupted him from his train of thoughts and had startled him, a near shout of surprise had come from him as your dog had come barreling out of the kitchen, no doubt where you had been. Your dog had begun to yip at him in response, jumping up and down at him as though it wanted him to pet it. He chuckled quietly, leaning down and simply running his hand along the dog's back, it shivered in response before you had finally emerged from the kitchen, a tired look on your features.
But as soon as your gaze had landed on him, you almost seemed afraid as he stood there, your gaze roaming over him before you finally moved. Quick footsteps seemed to ring in his ears as he had watched you approach quickly, he knew that you couldn’t see much of him, if anything of him at all considering he was a ghost. A faint smile came across your features and he had found that he had missed the sight of you, he had never wanted to be away from you again.
“Welcome home.” You spoke to what would’ve appeared to be empty air to everyone else, but you knew better. You knew that your ghost was waiting there to be greeted by you, and you were thankful that your dog had missed him as much as you had.

Monster Matchup (Theodore: SFW) Pt.1
Tumblr media
Hello! Finals are finally done and that means that I can focus more on my writing! Or at least try to! This was a commission! If you like my writing and want to read more, check out my Masterlist! Commissions/Monster Matchups are OPEN! Requests are OPEN! *Disclaimer, none of the pictures are mine, all credit goes to original artist!
It wasn’t that you had intended to fall in love with someone who was in a different career path than what you were, but you also hadn’t intended to have gone to a creative writing meetup by accident. Having joined a psychology club, you could’ve sworn that you were in the right room, but upon entering several faces you had never seen before were more than eager to greet you. The meeting was small, smaller than what you had remembered it being but that wasn’t important to you right now. The fae that had his back turned was what had caught your eye, his hair was thrown back into a man bun that somehow complimented his features while his build was athletic. Wings hung down as though he was more relaxed than anything else as he looked over the papers that were taped to the dry-erase board for the class. Well, you certainly didn’t remember seeing him in any of your classes.
“Is this the psychology club meeting room?” You asked a young minotaur girl who had been one of the first people to greet you, keeping your gaze on the male up front. For a moment she had frowned and shook her head, her tail swished slightly as though she was trying to remember where it was.
“I think it’s down the hall, room ARC315.” She responded thoughtfully as he had turned, catching your gaze with his. A slight smile had spread across his features and you remained standing there for another moment, managing to catch the few words that the girl was saying to you. “I’m Kat, this is a creative writing club for those in various English majors. We usually meet about once a week, that’s our club president Theodore, or Theo. He’s really friendly.”
Theo. You had latched onto the name and tucked it into the back of your mind for future reference, for a long moment no one said anything as the two of you had locked gazes. Finally, he had turned as someone had begun to ask him a question, but he found himself dragging his gaze back to you. You were… Interesting. He wasn’t quite sure how else to describe you as he adjusted the glasses that were slipping down the bridge of his nose, you had finally turned and left the room.
That was only the beginning, he had plagued your mind since seeing him at the club meeting that day, occasionally you would catch glimpses of him in the hallway surrounded by friends. But otherwise, you hadn’t seen him outside of the school setting, on a whim you had decided to go back to the creative writing club and properly introduce yourself to Theo.
When you had got there, you had realized you were a little earlier than everyone else, or at least it seemed that way. The minotaur girl that you had come across the first time you had stumbled into the meeting was there along with Theo. They seemed to be having a heated discussion of sorts, at least it seemed that way from the way her tail had hit the wall with a thud and his wings fluttered behind him. You carefully opened the door and both of their gazes shot to you, making you feel more anxious than what you had been in awhile. Theo’s expression had softened while Kat’s seemed to go elsewhere with a quiet huff coming from her, he walked over and offered you a faint smile.
“Lost again or is it perhaps something else this time?” He asked, you had felt small compared to him, he was practically a giant with how tall he was. It took you a moment to compose yourself since you had been eyeing him up unintentionally this entire time.
“I… wanted to introduce myself to you.” You responded. “I know your name, but I thought it would be nice if you knew mine.” You then proceeded to introduce yourself, his features lighting up with curiosity. You had noted that his hair was down this time, and it reached just a little past his shoulders as he had to tuck a strand of it out of the way.
“I see, well in that case…” He had turned back to the desk, grabbing a pen and a piece of paper from what you assumed to be his notebook and scribbling something down before turning back to you and handing it off with a slight smile. “Here.” He said as he pressed the now folded up piece of paper into your hands. “There’s no meeting today, but perhaps you would be interested in meeting up outside of the school grounds?” He suggested as he tugged his backpack onto his shoulder. “I believe your meeting is today yet? Mind if I accompany you?”
“Not at all.” You responded, tucking the piece of paper away for later as you looked up at him with a faint smile. You had turned, leading him down the hall to where the psychology club meeting was, idly chatting about various things and classes you had to take. Theo had poked and prodded your thoughts, making you feel more at ease around him since he seemed to be able to hold a conversation really well, and more importantly, he was thoughtful in the way he talked. It was as though he was taking every opinion you had well into consideration before responding to anything.
When you had reached the door to the psychology club, you were almost disappointed in the fact that you were there. But a quiet chuckle came from him and your gaze drifted back up to his. “I hope to talk to you very soon.” He said with a faint smile before offering you a small wave as he headed back down the hallway. A grin spread across your features and you found yourself digging through your pockets to pull the piece of paper free from them. With it in your hands, you typed his number into your phone and sent off one text that had started it all.
‘Hey. I enjoyed talking to you, let’s do it again sometime soon.’

Forgotten Thoughts (Zhade: SFW) Pt. 1
Tumblr media
Hello! I’ve decided to make a part 1 and a part 2 for this fic which will be out this weekend! This one featuring a royal naga that has coloring like a Green jungle boa! If you like my work and want to read more, check out my Masterlist! Commissions are OPEN! *Disclaimer: None of the pictures are mine, all credit goes to the original artists!
“I believe that was the very thing I told you not to do.” His voice is smooth, almost as smooth as the polished quartz pillar you were leaning against for support. His golden eyes never once leaving yours as his emerald green body coiled around himself neatly, giving him the appearance of being intimidating but you knew him better. Zhade was your best friend, and the future king of Vonid, that was something that you wouldn’t get in the way of.
Or at least you thought you wouldn’t have, there were times where you had dragged him away from his studies in order to go explore the town or snuck into his chambers late at night for an evening stroll. But now? Now you were terrified beyond belief, knowing that the words you had just uttered could end up costing you your life should he or anyone else speak to the current king. His father ruled with an iron fist, that was clear by the way he’d sneer at you in the hallways, you were nothing more than a mere speck of dirt to be wiped out of existence. Forgotten like everything else. You could feel your heart racing in your chest, the noise drowning out anything else as you focused on him.
“Well? Do you have anything to say for yourself?” He asked, amusement was clear on his features as he waited for your response. Usually you would have some sort of witty comment to say back to him but you couldn’t. It took a few long moments of silence before you had finally gained the courage to speak to him.
“Did you really think I’d listen?” You laughed almost bitterly, there was no way that it was going to work out for you in any circumstance when it came to this. “Did you really think… That after spending all that time with you that I wouldn’t fall in love with you?” You could have sworn you heard a gasp come from behind you but you didn’t bother to look. The only thing you knew in this moment was how devastatingly beautiful he looked in the evening light, how his scales turned from an emerald green to a deep forest green, and more importantly, how his face had flushed with color at such a confession. “Ever since we were little, we were inseparable, but… Zhade, we come from two different realms, and I know it’s crazy to think someone like me could love someone like you… But it happened…” You breathed as tears began to well up in your eyes.
Zhade had a blank expression the entire time despite the flush in his features, you had grown angry with that kind of reaction. “At least give me the satisfaction of hearing you say something back!” You nearly shouted at him as you got closer to him. Nearly in his face as you continued to scold him and his features had remained expressionless.
However, as you got halfway through your rant, he grabbed your wrist and pulled you flush against him. His lips pressed against yours in an earth shattering kiss that left you begging for more as he pulled away and he was more than happy to comply with your needs. You were pushed back against the quartz pillar, his body pressed against yours.
“Leave the kingdom and never come back.” He hissed quietly once he had pulled away from you, peppering kisses along your collarbone as his golden eyes bored into yours. “One of the maids heard you and ran off to tell my father… I want you safe…” He murmured as he pressed a kiss to the side of your head. “Go, quickly. Here.” He shoved a small bag into your hands filled with gold, it was the money he was supposed to use for the marketplace.
You merely nodded in response when it came to the command and turned, fleeing the castle, and… Fleeing the kingdom, leaving behind the only one you had ever truly loved.
“I will find you… I promise.” Zhade had murmured as he watched your retreating form, he knew that he could buy you some time by talking to his father, and that’s exactly what he had intended to do. Anything to ensure your safety.

As a Lonely Heart Calls (Vylon:SFW)
Tumblr media
One more request done! Another featuring an incubus! If you like my work and want to read more, check out my Masterlist! I couldn’t make up my mind on what I wanted for his collage thing to be so I used the same one as Coltar’s! *Disclaimer: None of the pictures are mine, all credit goes to the original artist!
He had heard you cry out during the nights where you had felt the loneliest. He had heard you cry for someone, anyone, to hold you. To give you the tiniest bit of comfort from the world that you lived in, his heart ached for you, he knew the feeling of being alone. He watched over you every night, unable to do anything more to ease the pain of reality than just manipulate your dreams. He had given you his name, something tangible that you could hold onto for just a while longer, he’d never revealed himself to you, but you had always had a feeling that Vylon had looked differently than the people that were presented in your dreams.
You had called out for him one night, not one of the personas he had given you to give you everything you had wanted in your dreams, you had called for him. He had debated with himself for quite a long time, his own thoughts becoming a tangled mess until he heard you call out for him again. The day had been long for you, and by the time your head had hit the pillow, you were out like a light and he had already begun to manipulate your dreams, until he heard you call out. Vylon had hesitated, but nevertheless he had finally allowed himself to enter the dream, meeting you for the first time in his normal form since he had started to make the nights a little less lonely.
You had met his worried gaze with a smile, your eyes lighting up as if he was the most beautiful creature you had ever seen. From the way his horns had curled upwards to the sky to the way he had shifted on his feet as if waiting for you to scream in fear, rather than any of those things, you had reached out towards him, cupping his face and brushing your fingers underneath his dark eyes.
“I’ve been waiting for you.” You teased lightly, letting your hands fall back to your sides and for a brief moment, Vylon had almost looked disappointed.
“I know… I’m sorry.” He responded, reaching back out to pull you close to him. You hadn’t known him, at least not what he looked like, but you had fallen in love with him. His arms wound their way around you, holding you close to him, you could feel the warmth radiating off of him and a smile crossed your features.
“It’s okay, you can make it up to me.” You responded, a mischievous look in your eyes as he looked at you curiously. Your hands trailed down his arms before you entwined your fingers with his, gently tugging him towards the bedroom. He had seemed to get the idea as he flushed with color. You laughed quietly as you watched his tail began to wag in excitement, when you were in the bedroom, he had shut the door behind you.
He scooped you up and tossed you on the bed playfully before crawling over you and kissing you deeply. “I’ll do more than make it up to you.” He promised, and somehow that didn’t sound like such a bad idea.
