AAAAAH WHAT A GOOD QUESTION THANK YOU JANE 🥺💖💖💖 But to be honest, it's hard to nail down specific favorite voicelines of his when I adore literally EVERYTHING he says 🥺💖🥺💖🥺💖 On my old blog I made quite a few audio posts compiling some of my favorite lines of his with a common theme (like this one here!) but even with those compilations I've made, I can still hardly choose! I love how many of his lines are him making amazing(ly cheesy) puns, I love the fact that he uses quite a few large words (even ones that I didn't know like "ostentatious") to show that he's not as dumb as he seems, I love how he's just genuinely nice and silly to everyone he meets and somehow people are STILL MEAN TO HIM, I love how in Overwatch 2 he tends to sing really often and considering thats something I love doing, I like to think in the year that's passed he picked that trait up because of me 🥺💖 And oh my god his VOICE, his ACCENT. LORD IN HEAVEN 😭💖😭💖😭💖😭💖 I love when his voice dips down a bit when he's getting serious or very rarely talking quietly, I love how high his voice can get, I love his voice cracks and oh my god when he justs SHOUTS EVERYTHING CUZ HE CAN (and he shouts a LOT in his Heroes of the Storm voiceliens pfffff). But ohhh my gosh okay. If I had to pick, just one line as a kinda "favorite" of mine, it would be the line found about 22 seconds into this video, where he says "I've been all around the world, and there's nowhere that compares to home", and like 🥺💖😭💖🥺💖😭💖 FIRST OF ALL the gentle sweeter tone of his voice just makes my heart burst, and second, the concept of "home" is a very important theme in my ship with him, so to hear him say that is definitely some sweet inspiration 🥺💖💖💖

AND OMG AS FOR YOUR OTHER QUESTION <0< 💖💖 You know how much I love crossover type things!! 💖 And oml I guarantee that any interaction between Jamie and Cortex would most likely be very chaotic 😅💖💖 Jamie of course tries to be friendly to everyone he meets, and I guarantee he would try to relate to Cortex cuz of them both being "genius inventors" hsbxbf 💖 But well, Cortex of course being his typical bitch self would probably go on about how superior his creations are, BUT I like to think that maybe he would want to know how Jamie made his gun out of literal trash, in a way where he's fascinated that a scrapheap of a weapon like that is even staying together 😅 Who knows, if Cortex doesn't end up getting too annoyed with Jamie (or even the other way around), then the two might even get up to some mayhem together 😳

Jake wiped his hands on his slacks for the third time in the last five minutes. Tilting his head side-to-side, he rolled his shoulders to crack his neck. Then he wiped his hands on his slacks once again. Bradley reached over and took his boyfriend's (sweaty) hand and linked fingers with him. "Hey, it's okay. This isn't a big deal." "Not for you, it isn't," Jake muttered under his breath. "It's bad enough I had to find out years later that your 'dad' was the Maverick. And now this! Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Bradley shrugged. "You didn't ask. Besides, how was I supposed to know you had some weird hero-worship thing for him?" "It's not... I just admire him greatly, that's all. And yes, maybe I had his picture in my dorm back at the academy for inspiration but there's nothing wrong with that." The look on Bradley's face said differently. "Dude..." Before Jake could try and explain himself further, the door to the office opened. Jake dropped Bradley's hand as he snapped to attention, though he was quivering as adrenaline coursed through his veins. Maverick was the first to exit the office. He took one look at Jake's stiff, sweaty appearance and shook his head, chuckling to himself. Then he stepped to the side and Jake's heart leaped in his chest. Standing before him was the man he had looked up to since the day he had decided he wanted to be a Navy pilot. Hell, he was half the reason Jake had made that decision. Though the man was older and more frail-looking than the pictures Jake was used to, there was no denying it was the same person. Admiral Tom "Iceman" Kazansky. Bradley stepped forward and embraced the man. "Hey, Uncle Ice. It's been a while." Admiral Kazansky nodded with a smile as he returned the hug. Bradley had warned Jake about his uncle's cancer and how even though he managed to survive it, he had lost the use of his voice. But voice or no voice, Jake was still not positive this wasn't all just a dream. Bradley took a step back and motioned towards Jake. "I want you to meet my boyfriend, Jake. You might have heard about him, callsign Hangman?" Recognition lit up Admiral Kazansky's face, and he gave an impressed nod. Jake almost passed out right then and there. But his lightheadedness only increased as the man extended his hand. With far more enthusiasm than Jake intended, he grabbed the Admiral's hand and shook it vigorously. "Admiral... Mr. Iceman.... Sir. I can't tell you what an honor it is to meet you! You've been my idol for as long as I've been flying and I just... Wow! I still can't believe I'm meeting the master!" Admiral Kazansky smiled and raised an eyebrow at Maverick who was across the room leaning against the wall with his arms folded across his chest. Rolling his eyes, Mav muttered, "Yeah, I heard him, Ice. But don't get a big head. The kid almost pissed his pants the first time I met him too." "Actually," Bradley chuckled. "He threw you out on your ass at the Hard Deck the first night you met." Admiral Kazansky's hand tightened around Jake's for a moment and Jake froze, horrified at what the Admiral must be thinking about him. However, the Admiral's face broke out into a playful grin and he began to silently laugh, his steel blue eyes shining with joy. He slapped Jake on the back before wrapping his arms around both Bradley and Jake's shoulders and guiding them into his office. It was official. This was the greatest day of Jake's life.

Hey, sorry it took me literal ages to get to your ask. I just didn't really know how to go about it, ngl 😅 I took the "with no real point of light" part and tried to explain it, but in the end it really comes down to "you have to feel it". Anyways, here are my thoughts:

Basically knowing where the light is coming from and being able to imagine the shadows different shapes throw is basically it. Then it all comes down to what mood you're going for.

There is a lot to talk about considering light and shadow and I'm almost sure I didn't answer your question correctly 😅 so if you want me to try again, let me know

he can swim but not very well. never lived that close to (clean) water. the docks in athkatla were absolutely nasty and he never dared to swim there. he usually just swims a bit to cool off. doesn't like the idea of swimming in the ocean. too big.. to unknown.

📖 OPEN BOOK - do they like reading? what's their favourite genre?

HE. LOVES. IT. he loves gaining more knowledge. he loves to get lost in all the worlds and information available to him. it loves to learn about worlds far beyond its reach yet still available at his fingertips.

his fave fiction books are mystery novels. while he also loves to read encyclopedias about the flora and fauna of other worlds/ecosystems.

not much of a planner, no. it has a VAGUE idea of what to do, but he mostly just wings it. he is also very impulsive. gale kinda balances him out in this aspect (he is impulsive yea, but in a different aspect. i gale very much plans his every move and every word)

👑 CROWN - what does your oc want to be remembered as? why?

he doesn't care if he is remembered or not. he just wants to live a good life. these things are not important to him

🎷 SAXOPHONE - do they play any instruments? are they any good at it?

OH YES. he's a bard. he plays the flute and the hand drum :) he entertains the camp a lot

whenever he looks at the stars he just thinks of lae'zel honestly. she was its closest friend... and she went back to the gith and misses her so dearly... sometimes him and gale watch the stars together and make up stories about what she's doing. he still hopes to see her one day

My thats some story! Allow me to dump it in this post😁 damn this turned a whole novel i cant…sorry and just ignore most of it like It really got out of hand😅🙈SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG💖💖

Our first trip wasnt planned to be a trip😂 it was supposed to be a date in another city and then going back. It was around three months we were dating and we got to the idea to go out of the city and explore more…well more Yusei’s idea since he has been catch up on work and kinda…didnt pay much attention to me. So he planned a long drive on his runner to have some alone time together and full attention.

We went to the sea side where that night was full moon and you could see the Stardust Road light up (Yes refference to vrains hehe). We spended the day at the boulevard, noticed Yusei wanted to check out a game shop and we even got new cards. Yusei gave me a card I reminded him of “Astro Kitten.” Cause it was a kitten in space and this kitten had a mole just like me.

We had enjoyed diner at a fish restaurant at the pier along with a sweet ice cream diner as the evening had fallen. We got a great spot to watch the Stardust Road light up as Yusei excused himself and as he came back trying to be flirty.

“Ha, what have we here?” Yusei said as he turned my face around with his free hand to look at him as he pulled closer and closed the gate between us as he kissed sweetly. “Seems like I catched a beautiful shooting star tonight.”

I swear I looked at him so confused like, what the h happen. Yusei and trying to flirt…one confused me. I even asked him if he was feeling okay iwiekekkdmd his face was priceless. Like me being a mess and trying to understand whatever he did. He sure tried his best to be more romantic that moment.

Eventually he told me he wanted to go to the zoo with me to look at the panda’s cause I like them. But the trip back and then to the zoo takes a lot of time so he suggested to stay at a hotel for the night.

“I wanted to surprise you.” He said as I smiled.

“You sure surprised me...only we..we never.”

Yusei waited for me to finish the line.

“We never slept together. I-I mean spending the night and sleeping.”

“We can take separate beds.”

“Yeah I know but uhmm.”

“You dont like to sleep with me in one room?”

“What? Yes I like to sleep with you I-I mean in a room and only sleeping but..I also dont mind we sleep in one bed.”

It was Yusei’s turn to blush and be surprised. “I uhmm I...”

“Sorry I didnt mean-.”

“In one bed?”

The hotel room was big enough to fit a nice two sized bed, we only had a problem with clothes.

“I should have brought...a pair of pjs or make up or other stuff…” I said kinda lost how to find a solution for this.

“Uhm..” Yusei said and scrached his hair. “You can...wear my shirt.”

“Thats sweet but..” I said and looked at myself. “I wouldnt fit.”

“You would fit and...look cute in it.”

“I heard that.” I said with a smile. “You look cutter in it.”

I kissed his cheek as he holds my hand. “Sharon?” He said as I sit next to him.

“Yes?”

“You look amazing to me.”

My look went off, I still have trouble believing he likes the way I look. “Please Yusei dont.”

“Try my shirt. Please.”

“But...what about you..”

“I wear another shirt under this one.”

I sighed and nodded. “I try.”

Yusei smiled and pulled his shirt off that took me off guard yet looked curious and interested. He indeed wear another shirt.

He gave me his shirt and I looked at it. “Okay, guess Im gonna change too.” I said as I stand up and walked to the bathroom. I putted off my clothes and bra and tried his shirt. It fits but its tigh, I sighed deep. “Dammit.”

Yusei was very restless like, the curtains open or closed, the light normal or dimmed, picking a flower out the vase but putted back in, checking his breath and grabbed a mint, even on the bed he was kinda bouncing up and down. Boy he was nervous and he really wants this, he have been wondering how it feels to be with each other while sleeping…just sleeping.

I grabbed my stuff and walked out of it. “Yus, your shirt do-.” I said as I saw the curtains are closed a little and a little light shines. I saw him sitting in his shirt and boxers, looking up when I walked in again.

I laid my stuff on the chair and smiled.

“Hey, what do you think?” I asked unsure.

Yusei cracked a smile. “You look cutter than I though...”

“Its close, I dont wanna ruin your shirt.”

“I dont want you to take it off.” Yusei said.

“You sure?”

Yusei nodded. “Please wear it.”

“Okay.” I nodded in agree and walked to him and sit on the other side. We went under the covers and laid with some distance away. There was an awkward silence.

“Are you tired?”

“Not really. You?”

“No.”

“Uhmm…sh-shall we put on the tv?”

“Yeah okay.”

What even was this convo…gladly the silence would be gone, damn it was really odd to be at night time together alone. A knot was there but none of us dared to start about it.

A movie was popping up. Titanic. Great…I have watched once and I regonize the scene. All the sappy romantic stuff has to happen yet.

“Is this titanic?” Yusei asked as I nodded.

“Yes it is. Did you ever saw the movie?”

“No, you?”

“Once.”

“You wanna watch it again?”

“Sure just leave it on.”

My oh my I wonder what he thinks of the movie. A couple of minutes in and they went to the

What a bunches of nervousness was sitting there. I shaked my head a little as I shoved more to him as he looked surprised. “May I lay…closer to you?”

He only nodded as he cleared the space for as I laid my head on his shoulder as he putted his arm around me. “You can breath you know.” I joked as I hear a shaky sign. “If it makes you uncomfortable I will mo-.”

“Stay.” “I dont…I want you to stay.”

“Okay. But please try to relax, you feel really tense. Its just me…I just want to get closer to you.”

I feel his breath as he sighed again as he said. “Me too. Thats why I wanted to go on this trip.”

I got off him as I turned around and laid on my stomach as I looked at Yusei. He turned around as he putted the volume down. He couldnt pay attention to the movie anyway.

“What?” He asked soft as we keep staring at each other.

“Nothing. I just realize I had a whole day with you alone and now the night and even tomorrow.”

“Is it too much?”

“No!” I said shocked. “I mean...I love to be with you, Im happy we are together. I am really happy with the time I am with you. But also I am very nervous. Im not used to so much one on one attention of you.”

A sigh of relief and a chuckle came out of Yusei. “I am really glad you are saying this cause I have been nervous since we got here.”

“Really? Havent noticed.” I joked as Yusei shaked his head.

“But Im…I’m happy we are alone together. I am glad I got..get time to give you the attention you deserve…”

“Is this about the past weeks?” I asked as I had a hunch in my gut what he was refference to.

“I know I havent paid much attention to you and I know how you made me food and kept me hydrated while I was on hyperfocus…” He chuckled nervous as I just keep repeating in my head how indeed he was so up his work we barely talked and sometimes his small smile wasnt enough to keep me coming back to the garage. Specially when everyone else got his full attention and I got pushed back. Well I though I pushed this though back but he brought it back up again.

“But I just hope you know mean so much to me and I wanna thank you…” He said as he laid his hand on mine.“Like giving you a proper thank you for your caring and sweetness.”

“Im…” I sighed deep. “I know you mean well…but I just wished you paid more attention to me back then. It really hurted me that you ignored me.”

“I didnt know, I really didnt know.”

“You couldnt know cause you dont know me that well like…what I cant stand. What makes me feel awful.”

“Tell me everything.”

“What?”

“Tell me all your likes and dislikes…I wanna know and remember them. I will try to do my best to be a better…boyfriend.”

“On one condition.” I said as I holded his hand tight. “You tell me yours too.”

We had small talks what we liked and disliked. Eventually we got deeper about ourselves. We both have trouble to open up and show the real us cause of our pasts. We noticed how we changed each other and just gonna take it slow. Also means getting deeper into intimacy. Just laying next to each other is so nice and knowing we see each other before we sleep and first thing we wake up.

We fell asleep with some distance but still holding hands till we woke up that morning close in each others embrace, it felt neutral yet Yusei had admited he never knew this would be such an amazing feeling and neither would I have known. Also I have apologized about the drooling on his shirt as the stain was visible as Yusei said he was sorry he had on my head..It was a really funny mess and we gladly could laugh about it.

But since that trip, our relationship got to a next level. Since that night we slept more times together, bonding on intimacy level.

You've become very good friends with Vidas since you arrived in Eonia. A habit of yours was to at least spend a day together per week, walking around and admiring the scenery.

There was still so much for you to see, and Vidas offered to be your guide. They had a lot of knowledge about well... everything. But you also got to know their true self. You felt accomplished with that alone, since you noticed they weren't open with just everyone.

The two of you spoke a lot, your arm hooked through theirs. Sometimes you ran into the members of the pantheon, but most of the time it was the two of you.

That day started like the others, with the two of you meeting up and starting out with a new area for the two of you to explore

He asked about how you were adapting to your new lifestyle. You admitted that it was lovely, but you couldn't help but feel below par when compared to all the other deities around you.

You apologized quickly, you didn't mean to ruin the mood. But you couldn't help but feel slightly bummed out.

Vidas took a seat next to you. "It's only natural." They said, "You've found yourself quite suddenly in a new situation with people you don't know... I went through something similar."

You couldn't help but feel surprised, not because they admitted to feeling lesser than the gods that surrounded them, but because they were opening up to you.

"When I first arrived, it felt as though I was in the background, and that people only came to me for my knowledge instead of... well, for me." They explained, "For a long time, all I had was Eeri. Sometimes, things need to sort themselves out on their own."

You were taken aback by their sincerity and thanked them. And the two of you continued on your journey. the two of your made your way to a hill with a view of the night sky.

Stargazing with the deity of intellect was interesting. They could point out any constellation and tell you the history, passion twinkling in their eyes when they spoke. You were lost in their voice, curled up close to their chest.

Vidas was more open to the idea of cuddling than you thought they would be. You just kinda snuggled up to their side and they held you close without questioning you.

Suddenly, as they were explaining the history of Orion, you suddenly sat up and confessed your feelings. You weren't sure about what pushed you to do that, but it happened, and you sat there awkwardly waiting for an answer.

They gawked at you for a moment, and you were suddenly afraid that you tarnished your whole relationship, until they admitted that they felt the same way

Your first kiss was under the stars, and the two of you had frequent dates at that spot, where you would watch the sunset and stargaze the night away :)

7. What story/headcanons do you feel the proudest of?

All my headcanons surrounding retirement (kids and pets included lol) I'm pretty proud of. It just makes sense.

15. What is the fanfic you've written that you're most proud of?

House of Memories. It's so good, and it's everything I've ever wanted from their relationship. I wanted so badly for them to have a real heart to heart conversation in the show and to just be with each other, you know? No case, no interruptions, just them. I'm so excited to see where it goes because I love it so dearly, it's so important to me

26. Are titles for your stories easy to come up with?

Typically, yeah! Certain stories can be kinda tough. I struggle more with chapter titles. Often, my titles are inspired by a song that inspired the fic/fit the fic really well! I.e. And for Once You Let Go, of Your Fears and Your Ghosts; House of Memories; Something Just Like This; Check Yes, Juliet. But it depends! It's hard sometimes

27. What time of day do you prefer to write?

In theory, I can write any time of day. But in actuality, because the hustle and bustle in my house, I can usually only write at night when everyone's asleep

In bed!! 😌 cozy time
