In case workers need any additional arguments for why labor unions are good for them, a powerful new argument comes from none other than Elon Musk. Last month at the New York Times DealBook Summit, a gathering of lords of finance and industry, Musk said: “I disagree with the idea of unions … I just don’t like anything which creates a lords and peasants sort of thing.” That the world’s richest human dissed the idea of unions should certainly be seen as a selling point for unionizing. Musk’s statement shows that he realizes that unions can be highly effective in harnessing the collective voice and power of workers, not just to limit the autonomy of power-hungry CEOs like him in managing their companies, but also to counter the capricious and often officious way he runs things. Musk is allergic to the idea of letting workers and their union have a voice in how to run – and improve – things. Musk also sought to slime unions by saying: “Unions naturally try to create negativity in a company.” He seems to conveniently forget who has created the negativity at his companies. After acquiring Twitter, Musk fired four-fifths of its 7,500 workers. There, it was Lord Elon, not a union, that created a tsunami of negativity.

So, apparently, the whole "Tesla v. the Swedish Working Class" thing is actually getting juicier.
Earlier this month, PostNord refused to deliver license plates to Tesla owners. Tesla sued, and the court ruled that the transportation authority had to deliver them, somehow.
Apparently something changed, and the court has changed its mind. PostNord is no longer under obligation to deliver license plates to Tesla owners, for the time being.
Also, unions from Finland, Norway, and Denmark have all either joined the strike or threatened to join if demands are not resolved by a certain date. The Nordic market is one of the quickest growing EV marketplaces in the world, with Norway and Sweden being Tesla's fourth and fifth-largest markets, respectively. Scandinavia is invaluable to an EV-only company's success, so it'll certainly be interesting to see what becomes of the following weeks.

Huh, turns out Tessla really did wake up and choose violence in the TriStamp universe...But I kinda doubt she still approved Knives of doing, in order:
-Threaten Conrad at knife-point but keep him alive to create the Eye of Michael and the Plant-hybrid experiments with orphans. -Destroy towns and cities to "save" the Plants when they're being overused or near-death, but leaving said-overused Plants in Julai with no way to properly heal them. -Consistently traumatizing/gaslighting Vash and dropping him in The Soup (and you know…Episode 11), as well as Knives retraumatizing himself (and by extension Tess) by violently killing innocent lives in a bid to “give the Sinners their due punishment” and pushing Tess to reactively lash out at anyone who tries to hurt them or even get close to them…
I mean, if you put it into that context, then the entire battle at ep 12 is Knives having a three-way brawl instead; both with Vash and Tessla, with his sentient security blanket finally having enough with him constantly violating the other Plants’ autonomy and free will.
Like damn, way to dampen Knives’ already-sour mood getting booted out of the higher plane and choosing to help her "younger" brother for once after the mindfuck he went through. 80% of the battle the whips are even just dragging behind him or and not in attack mode anymore unless Knives forces it to happen (ie. burning himself out quicker). But hey, already crossing fingers they expand on all this in Season 2.

Strike against Tesla in Sweden will be joined by Denmark's largest union, the United Federation of Danish Workers (3F ).
After reports that anti-worker Musk's Tesla is strike breaking by rerouting shipments in Denmark to circumvent the strikes in Sweden, the transport workers' section of the union gives notice it will in 14 days stop handling Tesla cars headed for Sweden and will not handle them until Tesla "sits down at the negotiation table".
"Even if one is one of the richest people in the world, one can't just have your own rules. We have some agreements on the labor market in the Nordic Countries, and one must follow those if one wants to operate here", said 3F Transport's chairperson Jan Villadsen to TV2 in Denmark, adding that "IF Metall [metal workers' union, Sweden] and the Swedish employees are currently fighting in an incredibly important struggle. When they ask for our help, we naturally support".
Tesla continues to refuse commenting.
The Swedish Transport Agency also appeals the court order to strike break for Tesla, citing security reasons.

Hey, Nnoi! Opinion on Tesra's release? He is... mmm, burly~ (unlike someone else))))
Tumblr media
❝ My opinion, huh? ❞ He had to think about this one. He REFUSED to believe the ' unlike someone else ' was directed at him. Sure enough, Tesla's resurrection made him look really strong. The size of his body, the clearly visible muscles - it was the sort of appearance that spoke of strength. But, in the end, Tesla was not that strong. Not compared to HIM at least. The only thing that mattered to Nnoitra was strength. Everything else came second. He liked to believe that Tesla would stack up well against the other Fraccion and Arrancar in Las Noches ( of course, not counting the Espada ). But, he also knew that Tesla was a very young Hollow. He didn't have the battle experience that others had. Experience was far more important than people thought. It could make up for almost anything. It was how he had been able to defeat Nelliel, who ( though he'd never admit it out loud ) was stronger than him.
❝ Tesla 's pretty strong, if he was weak he wouldn't survive bein' my Fraccion. ❞ Nnoitra finally replied, a shrug rolling off his shoulders. There was no need to state that even if Tesla's release looked, and was strong, Nnoitra could kill him without lifting a finger. It was a little ironic, he thought, that Tesla's Resurrection was less human than his own. Nnoitra at least maintained a human-like face in his release. Not many people had SEEN Nnoitra's resurrection, because he never needed it ( and also, he disliked having to PRAY for Santa Teresa to help him out ). He wondered - was the fur that Tesla was covered in in his released form soft? Or was it hard like hierro SHOULD be?
