Hey everyone, I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately. I got a bit burnt out with NsB and my art so I took a bit of a break.

I've recently finished some games in my backlog and they were pretty good. I played The Chant, the Mafia trilogy, Alan Wake and I'm currently playing Alan Wake 2.

The Chant reminded me a lot of Hellblade.

Both feature a main character who goes through Hell to help someone they care about.

They both rely on symbols and powerful items to make it through their journey.

Both have to face their own demons and listen to voices in their heads.

Both games have visceral combat against creatures and fighters wearing skulls as masks.

Both go through the wringer and keep getting back up to face an ultimate Cosmic Horror.

Hellblade did it much better but The Chant is still very satisfying to go through.
