"excitable and sweet, Jolt Drive, or simply JD, is a young weaponry designer. she's creative and clever, but has made it quite clear she's still learning. sure she trips up and messes up her words. sometimes she's too naive and forgiving. but don't let those traits fool you. she works smarter and harder to get to her end goals." this took 3 days... ;-; she has such a big wardrobe. i will admit that this was a doozy of a ref. but i'm proud of it. her human everyday outfits 1-7 are based off of stuff i own. they're based off of what she would as a human in the transformers movies but they work for different universe too. everyday 1 - Transformers, TFA everyday 2 - Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, TFP everyday 3 - Transformers Dark of the Moon, RID 2015, Cyberverse everyday 4 - Transformers Age of extinction everyday 5 - Transformers The Last Knight everyday 6 - Bumblebee, G1 everyday 7 - Transformers Rise of the Beasts, Earthspark, IDW
the dark grey hearts on her designs connect to form constellations in July that are Visible from Italy. her feet are also meant to have the flat part at the toe to mimic ballerina point shoes. her skirt and boots for party are meant to be holographic purple and her jacket is meant to be a metalic galaxy print lol.
TFP, RID - Auriga (the charioteer) TFA - Corona Borealis (the northern crown) G1 - Coma Berenices (the Bernice's hair) Bayverse v1 (transformers, RotF, DotM, Bumblebee RotB) - Andromeda (the princess) bayverse v2 (AoE) - Cassiopea (the seated queen) Bayverse V3 (TLK) - Canis Venatici (the hunting dogs) IDW - Cancer (the crab) Earthspark - Monoceros (the unicorn) Cyberverse - Lyra (the lyre)
i stuck with my idea for different movies she looks different to kinda show her mood and outlook.
anyway, backstory time
JD, also known as Jolt Drive, is BumbleBee's energetic girlfriend and apprentice to Crosshairs. She loves fashion and make-up and studies design. JD was sent to study on earth, unaware the war would reach her and drag her in, which is something she wanted to avoid for a long time. She is taught under the weapons designer, Crosshairs. Her weaponry is famously non-lethal and one of her most famous designs is known as the Apparatus, which can turn into weaponized versions of rhythmic gymnastics apparatus. However, She also has ASD and has to remember to turn everyone down to not be overstimulated from the noise. She also is very jumpy and has a strong Italian accent that isn't always easy to read. her first earth language is Italian and speaks only Italian when she's tired. She has a group of friends that were her exchange trip classmates in Japan. She makes non lethal weaponry mostly because she has a vow. an order from her home asks that she never kills. She may injure but never end another's life. She upholds this vow and gets angry when people try to make her go against it. Her family is very influential in her home but she's refusing to say where she's from. She and Bumblebee are very very much in love. They made a promise to conjunx after JD finished her studies. Her family also adopted Jetfire and Jetstorm as her brothers. she has a sneaking suspicion about someone who died in her family and thinks she knows where to look for the culprit.

Time for more Earthspark appreciation! This time let's focus on one of my favorite moments with a new character, Nightshade!
Of course, Spoilers if you haven't seen the show!
Nightshade made quite a stir in the fandom and beyond by being the first explicitly nonbinary bot, and everything about their introduction as such is very carefully crafted. I'd like to point out my favorite details while also squeeing about how utterly adorable they and their siblings are.
First, we get three whole new Terrans, and they're all absolutely precious! Not to mention beautifully designed and way taller than their older siblings!
Tumblr media
OP is absolutely delighted to see them, and immediately drops closer to their level so he can introduce himself, expressing sincere welcome and asking them their names. Much like Twitch and Thrash, they're not quite sure at first. That tracks pretty well considering they're about five minutes old!
Tumblr media
Thankfully Robby and Mo know the drill, and through their connection they're able to help two of their new siblings discover their names.
From this we learn two important things about each bot; their names and their pronouns. Robby introduces Hashtag with she/her, and Mo introduces Jawbreaker as he/him. As an important setup for later, Nightshade introduces themselves with only their name and an incredibly sweet greeting indicating their confused delight at having been brought into existence.
Tumblr media
Look at them, precious little bow and everything. I would die for every single Malto but especially them.
Next, it's time for a plan to rescue Dot, and the new additions to the family are eager to help! Optimus takes them all to a rest stop and they begin forming their strategy with what they have on hand. This results in STILL more cuteness.
Tumblr media
Lookit that little face and Mo's adorable expression of concentration I simply can't ahhhhhhh this show is non-stop sweetness!
Now onto the scene in question, which I wish I could GIF in HD because there's SO MUCH but here we go!
Tumblr media
Nightshade asks to be represented by the bobble head, and looks to Optimus for permission to do so.
Tumblr media
Optimus, being a gigantic dad, happily complies - but hesitates when he realizes he doesn't know how to refer to the young bot. He pauses and looks uncertainly to Mo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nightshade goes quiet and their optics begin to glow, a sign that they're emoting strongly enough for it to go through their connection. They appear nervous as they look to Mo, sitting more tensely and setting their lip in a line as an unspoken communication compels their big sister to nod in understanding.
Tumblr media
Mo speaks for them gently, stating their pronouns with a level of firmness that reads as polite but quite protective. She may only be a fraction of their height, but you can tell she'd fight for her little sibling and their identity. I really have to commend her VA for this and so many other scenes! Nightshade adds a small addendum that he or she simply doesn't fit for them, speaking for themself with the help of their sibling's support.
Optimus, whose respect for pronouns is now canonized, apologizes and makes it a point to address them properly. Nightshade relaxes and the nervous glow in their optics fades as they share another little moment with Mo.
Tumblr media
Then my heart simply exploded from the cute.
I know I'm not alone in being incredibly impatient for more Earthspark, but the introduction of Nightshade and the other Terrans has me on the edge of my seat, and moments like this are the reason why! These characters all care so deeply about one another, every moment they're on screen is such a delight. Thank you for geeking out about the little details with me while we wait!

Hello!!!! I read the pred hcs you made for some transformers and I really loved them…I was wondering if you had more? I’d love to hear more about TFP Ratch or TFE Bee…but honestly I’ll take any character you’d like to elaborate on. Those were SO cute 🥺
Good day, dear anonymous!
I'm really happy you like my post - thank you very much for your kind words!!! Unfortunately, I don't have any more ideas about Ratchet and Bee for now... But as soon as I get some, I will definitely post them!
And at this time, here I have predcanons for other transformers from different universes. Hope you will enjoy!
P. S: I'm really sorry for my long silence - sometimes school takes too much of my time...
TFP
Wheeljack
Tumblr media
Always confident and calm ninja seems to be quite easy-going at the first glance, but the more you watch him the better you see that in reality he prefers being all by himself, and it demands time to earn his respect and affection. So, like Ultra Magnus, he would be very picky about who he would let inside of his fueltank. However, as far as he warms up to someone, he gets unbelievably chilly about swallowing his beloved team pal down. Need a place to rest? Feel scared or upset? Lonely? Just get in. He doesn't see any point in long ceremonies; his movements are slow and gentle, however it doesn't take much time for Jacky to push you down his throat with a satisfied hum. At the same moment, the part of the process he would adore is tasting; unusual, exotic human flavours would make his processor just buzz in bliss! Sometimes he would take his time a little, carefully, methodically licking a person in his mouth from head to toe, rolling and tickling them with a tip of his tongue, optics closed and lips smiling joyfully. Only when there is no dry spot on the human's body, he would title his helm back and let them slide further into his core. Wheeljack would never be shy to speak to his friends after they got in his fueltank; often he is watched by puzzled eyes of comrades while he's running around his business and talking to someone they can't actually see or hear. But he doesn't pay much attention on their reaction anyways...
As an addition: Wheeljack finds vore a perfect chance to take Mico with him and Bulkhead on missions without Ultra Magnus noticing anything. And he always manages to set her free right at the time when no one is able to see it. So, Magnus is repeatedly driven mad by this small, innocent tricks, although he admits human child's help is quite useful from time to time.
TFE (Earthspark)
Starscream
Tumblr media
This mech with difficult, sarcastic, but secretly soft character would be a shy and nervous kind. He would be quite concerned about his tiny friend's safety; when it comes to gulping them down, the 'con is too afraid that he can accidentally hurt them if something goes wrong. And he is sure it will go wrong because he is too used to failings... Moreover: it's really hard to win his trust because of everything he has been through. That way, it would be not a simple task to convince this ex-decepticon that vore is actually a good thing. However, if you manage to go over with all the obstacles, he will be the most careful and wholesome pred ever. And once he completely understands there is no danger - an obsessively willing one. He wants to keep his human companion as close as possible, warm and protected from everything and everyone (especially Megatron). He can get a little teasy in attempt to see how you blush and smile - recognition of his human's pleasure makes his spark sing of happiness; but usually he would just coo at you softly, give you a light kiss in the forehead and then his smooth lips would slowly, but demandingly pull you into his salivating mouth. As a person with PTSD he always needs to have absolute control over the situation, something unexpected (abrupt movements, screams, loud laugh, sudden rough squeezing of his insides) extremely freaks him out; so, you better let Starscream take the lead and stay still. After his darling reached their destination, he would try to move less, not wishing to cause any problems to them. He would curl up in a tight ball, hugging his middle with both arms and stroking it happily, and speak to them softly until he and his prey both fall asleep.
As an addition: sometimes he have panic attacks and feel deep enxiety, so some reassuring weight inside of him would be required.
TF RID
Drift
Tumblr media
This autobot is a tough guy which is quite strict to others as well as to himself. So, you shouldn't expect him being a sweetheart. Although the alien samurai never forgets about humans' fragility, his tiny friends are barely treated softly most of the time because they are members of their team like others; they have responsibilities and have to work on their best without excuses or privileges. He doesn't accept extreme sensitivity in anyone; in order to that, he can often hurt his little partner's feelings. I think in this case, vore for him would be a way to apologize for being rude and to show that his friend can trust him; putting them deep inside of his body, close to his spark would mean that whatever offensive things he says sometimes, he is always there for his precious comrades. Of course, his is a QUITE protective pred; if Drift understands that his companion isn't able to defend themselves, he will simply grab little one in a second and shove them into his mouth - such straight forward actions committed without any explanation can be shocking for a prey, but, unfortunately, they should just live with it; he won't change anyways. If you're his close friend or a lover, then perhaps he will go slightly easier on you; at least, he will be definitely more gentle and caring every time he is bound to send you down his fueltank.
However good control Drift has over his emotions, he isn't able to deny that he likes the entire process. When there is an opportunity, he loves examining his sensations; presence of a small life hiding in his very core has a comforting and relaxing influence on him, especially because of his protective instincts. These are the points why he wouldn't hurry to set his human friend free (not like they would be unhappy about it though). The samurai wouldn't tell anyone about where his partner is once they got tucked into his "stomach" (even to the minicons) because in Drift's opinion it could be shameful for both included; that way, when he is around others you can imagine that he has forgotten about you at all. It's not true. And the fact that even during the hardest battles he will keep you fine inside no matter the cost perfectly proves it. But he would pay attention on you openly only in private, far away from the team. Then he would lay one servo on his waist, caressing it delicately, and finally ask softly if you are OK in there. Afterwards, perhaps there would be a long philosophical discussion till the evening, when he would let you out to look at a beautiful sunset from his shoulder.

I had finished watching Transformers: Earthspark yesterday. Got a few notes, spoilers below:
-"Malto-bots" awwwww my heart -shit starts ramping up after the halfway mark of the season. which is classic and I did not realize how much I missed that type of pacing -oh, hello body horror in a kids show, didn't expect to see you here! -did not expect to get as invested as I did in the human parts of the plot, like how the rest of humanity is reacting to the Terrans. I think for a kids show they wrote that bit pretty well -speaking of: its clear from the get-go that the whole Terran plot is allegorical to a lot of things. Immigrant families, biracial families, being a first generation citizen, etc. I've seen a lot of media try to use aliens as a plot device for "bigotry is bad", but very rarely have I seen it actually like, show how it hurts people and effects how they see themselves, and show that you have to shut that shit down if you want to be an ally, and not just tolerate your racist uncle, friend, etc. I think this show did a pretty good job of that. It had made parts of me feel seen and heard for the first time ever. -The way they handled the Starscream thing was kind of weak though, imo -Man i wish we got to see Hashtag having more moments with the seekers, she'd fit right in -Nightshade!!! I like Nightshade, I think some parts were a little on the nose (like how they're the only person who introduces themselves with their pronouns), but its not as some people are making it out to be. Idk if its just me but I also feel like they got sidelined more than the rest of the characters, which is suspicious. But anyways, every group needs a mad scientist character who can be slightly unsettling and I'm glad Nightshade is there to fill the role. -Ok i get this is a kid's show, and there was already more nuance than i expected (which was none) about the decepticons, but I do feel like they didn't make the final leap in logic here. -"Ok not all decepticons are bad, but we still wont stop surveilling and locking some of them up because they chose to do bad with their second chance". Has anyone here heard of the word "REHAB"?? -Megatron is cool. Cool theme, no comments there -Really liked the fight scenes as well, especially the shots of the transformers fighting it out in the background where the camera focuses on the humans running away. It really shows the scale of things. Small detail but the fact that we've got several bots using their inbuilt guns' recoil in fights is really cool! Megatron essentially did a rocket jump. One critique however is that nothing really looked like it had weight. -Also I wished that they kept Karan Croft as the lead antagonist till the end. Like idk, show that this whole oppression thing is systematic in nature. Could have had Dr. Meridian change sides given the fact that he was being put in a similar position to the transformers by the humans in charge (he was also fighting for basic resources to live after his first defeat). -Also this one may be unpopular: It looks like at the end the Terrans get their own symbol/badge. Which I think sorta breaks the whole "the war is over, there's no more sides and factions" things that they keep repeating throughout the show. It just feels like they've created a third faction now, and the continuing dynamic is now autobots vs decepticons vs terrans. Which, no. You're going to replace your war with another.
Overall, good show, 8/10, I think it fumbled the ending. I know im not the target audience here but also its not like kids are stupid.
Also representation matters. The choices of having the lead human characters be a non-white biracial family, having the first nonbinary transformer, having the terrans be allegorical, it may not mean anything to some viewers, but for others it could be the first time someone has actually acknowledged them, has said "I see what you've gone through and I know it to be real and I will take it seriously". The diversity in the show only serves to make it better

Lets begin with this.
Your earthspark-morph AU is amazing. It flows so well with Dotties character and the whole idea that we never really get told why she's missing her leg; just that it was lost in battle. Also? Megs 100% would offer her a spot in the hive after that. Like, she saved 2 of his kids. The least he can do is offer her protection against the autobots, who are now undoubtedly going to kill her if she returns from the hive.
Also? I feel like the first thing that would happen after Dot and Megs negotiations would be Dot asking for Megs side of the war story. Cause she's definitely heard the Autobots side (Cons wanna take over the planet; they're all evil scum; experiment on bots for fun; yadda yadda.) She's seen all the propaganda. But she's military; she knows that's what it is. So she wants to know the other sides version. Something she would never be able to ask if not for the unique circumstances.
She learns the horrors of how morphs are treated; how the Autobots intended genocide is what kickstarted the war in the first place.
Shes shook.
Hey I'm glad you liked it!
The bots aren't gonna kill Dot tho. Why would they? It's not like they know she tried to stop the eggs from being smashed, and getting kidnapped by cybermorphs isn't exactly a crime
She is eventually gonna want to return to the surface. She has her whole life up there, family that she loves and friends she adores and a dream job as a park ranger to someday get to
She is with the hive for awhile, tho. The medical team stabilizes her, and manages to perform a proper amputation surgery to minimize the damage. It takes them awhile to make her an acceptable prosthetic: the perfect blend of cybertronian tech and cloned material harvested from her, allowing her to experience a sense of touch in her replacement limb. It moves with such precision the individual toes can wiggle. It's an engineering marvel, but ofc takes a bit of time to be fine tuned and ready for continuous use
While she's down there, she gets to know the morphs. They're... frighteningly familiar. They're so much like the autobots, so much like people, it's a wonder she had ever thought of them as monsters. They're... just people that look different. That's literally it. They laugh and have inside jokes and are actually rather affectionate with each other. They all have their place in their massive family, and the hivemind is a marvel. They don't even need to talk to each other to communicate! They treat her very well, grateful that she protected their unhatched siblings.
Speaking of said siblings! Megatron's jealously guarding them in the throne room, tucked safely in two honeycomb-like shells under constant watch from the praetorians and the queen himself. Dot is given permission to see them when she speaks with Megatron, who's also a lot more... docile, almost? Than she would have expected. Previously she'd only seen him in battle, where he was downright savage and acted entirely without mercy. But when he's comfortably at home in his hive, watching over his two eggs... he's much more quiet than she ever could have imagined. It's strange to think of him as peaceful, but that's all that really comes to mind seeing him relaxed in his throne and gently stroking the precious eggshells.
He agrees to let her return home once her leg has been fixed up. He's not keen on just letting a strange alien join his hive, though for now she is a welcome guest. He has no interest in keeping her as a pet or a companion or an unwilling prisoner. But in the days before she's ready to leave, they visit often. They talk. He tells her about his children, both living and dead. She confides in him about how she'd like to have children of her own someday but worries she never will. She asks about the war, eventually, why it started, and is shocked and horrified to hear about how awful Cybertron was for the less fortunate. Slavery isn't exactly that far away in humanity's past, and there's still inequalities based around something as trivial as "frame type" and "skin color". She can barely wrao her head around the idea of the good and honest autobots being slave drivers. She can't imagine the morphs living their entire lives in quarantine because they were considered dangerous and dirty. And then hearing that the fighting started because of an unprovoked bombing in sn attempt to genocide them--it's all too much. She's sick to her stomach, hearing all of that--those are the kinds of people she's been working with? That the government and humans as a whole were so happy to back and support?
Needless to say, when she leaves, she has every intention to resign from working with the bots, but only after giving them a piece of her mind (and maybe also blowing the whistle on them, idk I'm just rambling at this point)

Hello everyone.
It's currently 2 am and I just finished watching transformers earthsparks new episodes. I am just here to say my opinion on everything.
First of all, as a dedicated and certified Soundwave simp, the amount of screen time my guy gets is just outrageous. Bro only gets like most of an episode while then getting seen in snippets of everything else. Did nickelodeon really think that giving Soundwave an episode and then forgetting about him is gonna make people satisfied? But in general, the other decepticons, apart from Megatron, also get seen in one episode and then get forgotten. I need more decepticon/Soundwave screen time otherwise I will Ree.
Second of all, I think the animation quality has gotten much worse over the episodes. I do believe that they may be trying but honestly speaking I think beast wars CGI from 1990-something has way more fluidity and quality than whatever Nickelodeon decided to mash up one day.
Third of all, the story line has just become garbage. Compared to the first episode, the new episodes just seem super bland, until like the last 2 where I think everything is unexpected and I like it. What I mean by that is that the eps from before were super predictable, and the Friendship Is Magic™ just feels so overused. Like, you could add in a bit more conflict or fights in between and make them a bit more interesting. I honestly almost fell asleep a few times because everything was just so predictable and downright boring if I say so myself.
Alright, I get it's a TV show made for kids, but let's be real, name a kid who actually has even heard of transformers these days. I just think people should make a show that is at least enjoyable or enticing, or just having smoother animation. Or even have both and become the beauty of Transformers Prime... never mind I don't think anything will become as good as tfp unless it's actually tfp.
And last of all, I need to get this out of my system.
WHAT IS UP WITH QUINTUS PRIME LIKE WHAT HAPPEN TO MY GUY WAS HE SPAGHETTIFYED BY A BLACK HOLE OR SOMETHING BECAUSE BROS FACE MIGHT AS WELL BE THINNER THAN MY PATIENCE FOR THIS SHOW, WAITING FOR IT TO REACH A CLIMAX BUT WENT DOWNHILL INSTEAD. BRO LOOKS LIKE HE COULD SNAP IN HALF IS HE GOT HIT BY A BREEZE, PROBABLY WHY BROSKI GOTTA BE A SPIRIT INCASE HE DO SNAP. WHOOOOOOOO I JSUT CANT TAKE BRO SERIOUSLY WITH THAT LOOK IM VERY SORRY.
Okay I'm done now.

Earthspark in One Week HYPE!!!! What are some of your theories about what may happen in this new season?
I'm pacing a hole in the floor with how excited I am!! It might be a little longer than one week for me since I live outside the US (which is extra anxiety), but I'm going to find a way to watch the new season asap!
Take these with a grain of salt, but here's my theories for what might happen in season 2:
The new Terrans are going to get their alt modes (obvious given)
Big Decepticon jailbreak from GHOST's facility (another obvious). We'll probably get to see some cameos of other 'Cons during it i.e. non-speaking roles to fill out the space, show just how many 'Cons were being held prisoner, and give fans a shot of their favourite bots
If the jailbreak wasn't set off by Starscream (along with Soundwave), then Scream at least takes advantage of it. He gets a whole hostile takeover and/or Megatron revenge quest out of his system, until he's either stopped or gives up. Then because there's no more war to lead the Decepticons into, Scream's kind of in limbo until he becomes a somewhat-ally to Team O.P./the Terrans, showing up every so often when the narrative calls for it. Maybe he bunks with Bee in the barn, or maybe he gets his own place out in the woods to live in, giving him some independence and privacy. Either way, Starscream gets to be an individual instead of having to be Second in Command.
Starscream's eye colour gets its own section. I absolutely think there could be mind/emotional control going on: the "Something's wrong!" line from the season 2 trailer followed by Grimlock attacking (and Elita's line in the first episode about how attacking out in the open "isn't like" Swindle and Hardtop, but it's been a while since I watched that episode, so I don't have the exact quote), do set up some kind of mind control plot. The fact that Starscream's eyes are blue in what appears to be a flashback, means it makes less sense for the eye colour to represent what side Scream is on, plus a few other 'Cons don't have red eyes (Swindle and Skullcruncher have yellow-white). One theory I have that's mostly Because It's Cool is that it could be a way to represent that Scream really DOES see himself as (or is considered to be) the true leader of the Decepticons now. However, I don't think it's going to be that deep. Apart from Megatron, the only 'Cons who have consistently had red eyes so far are Soundwave (if you count the visor), and the other Seekers, Skywarp and Novastorm. It really could just be a detail that unifies the Seeker designs.
If GHOST are up to something nefarious, the upcoming season feels like the best time to reveal it. At the very least they're going to get called out for keeping Cons prisoner indefinitely. Idk if this will happen, but the theory that GHOST is using spark energy for something would be very fucked up and awesome to see.
I do think the 'Mandroid becomes Tarantulas' theory is solid, and there's been some stuff in season 1 that might have been hints towards it. When Mandroid is talking to Dorothy about his injuries, he says "[My Arachni-mechs] saved me, the only way they knew how." Which definitely could be seen as foreshadowing for him going through another near-death experience, and his Mechs save him 'the only way they can', by fusing with his body/turning him into one of them. If I remember correctly we didn't see Mandroid survive his big walking laboratory going down, so maybe Tarantulas shows up next season and the twist is it's Mandroid who got fused with his spiders after the lab went down. Again, I think it's just as likely to not happen as it is to happen, there isn't a lot of hard evidence - but if it does happen, there's moments in the first season that arguably pointed towards it.
Ratchet feels like one of the top contenders to show up. I'd love to see Cyclonus or Drift, but I feel like the show is going to prioritise Autobots from the Gen 1 team - from that list, I personally think Ironhide or Jazz could be cool to see.
It looks like the fucking Allspark!! In the background of Megatron talking to Shockwave!! So maybe the 'Cons managed to get the Allspark, and Megs still couldn't win the war with it. If I had to take a guess, Megs (and likely Optimus) realised that if the war continued to go on it would likely destroy their entire race. It's been shown a lot throughout the show (e.g. his argument with O.P. while fighting the casettes, his annoyance during the press conference in the season 1 finale) that Megs' highest priority is the safety and survival of the Cybertronian people, so it'd make sense (if only for the ES version) that he'd rather end the war/come to a compromise than lose everything. That also begs the question of where the Allspark is now, and I reckon Optimus hid it so GHOST couldn't get their hands on it (I wouldn't trust GHOST with it and I don't think Prime would either.
Now for Shockwave. Based on the trailer, it looks like a lot of what we were shown about Shockwave so far is through flashbacks (either multiple or a singular large one). Based on the energy field with very little behind it when he raises his blaster-arm, and the fact that the moon is a frequent motif with his character, Shockwave might very well be on the moon in those flashbacks (he could also be on the Nemesis, but I feel like you'd want a more stable base of operations to house the Allspark). It looks like Megatron was already on his way out of the 'Cons, and Shockwave intercepted him trying to take the Allspark. In the present, I think the Kids find Shockwave on Earth deactivated (when Thrash makes his joke about changing his shorts in the season 2 trailer, Shockwave's greyed-out body is lying in front of him!), and accidentally reactivate him. My big and way-out-there theory is that in the end, Shockwave either dies for real, or at least disappears for the rest of the season. I'm going to point to the toyline again. Shockwave's Earthspark figure is a recolour of his deluxe Cyberverse figure (which also makes the toy's design radically different from the show's design). I do own a recolour Transformer, and it's for Cyberverse Blurr. Spoilers for Cyberverse, Blurr shows up for one episode where he DIES in the end. So that makes me nervous about how the relationship between Blurr's show presence and toy could possibly apply to Earthspark Shockwave, whose only figure is a recolour of a past toy. It's possible the people behind the show didn't want to spoil the design early, but surely they'd put more effort into the figure if he was going to be a recurrent character.
So yeah, those are my theories about season 2. Sorry it started to get really long, but thank you for giving me the opportunity to talk about them! Whatever happens, I'm excited to see more of Earthspark!

A small scene that came from what you hope happens in Earthspark, with a twist: Optimus was far too shock by the sight of Bee's condition to hear the medic's warning. It was only when he felt Megatron holding his arm that he snapped back into reality. The glare-no DEATH in Ratchet's optics alerts Optimus of the severity of the rage. He felt guilt. "I should have pushed against the sudden work GHOST gave me instead of messaging Megatron to keep track of the everyone, I am so-" "WHAT???" {1-3}
Tumblr media
I’m guessing that there was a part missing in the middle, but I’d be lying if I let that stop me.
I don't know if you were going for this, but from what I interpreted- I adore the idea that Optimus, trying to escape the wrath of Ratchet, would throw Megatron under the bus only for it to half work. Yes, he got Megatron in trouble, but he failed to get himself out of trouble.
I thoroughly enjoy that the description for g1 Ratchet is that he’s a real party animal, then it says that he's got bad bedside manners- but as a general I’m so used to grumpy Ratchet that- on impulse- I wrote him like that. 1000 words in, I'm not changing it.
Now in the spirit of writing, I see your small scene and I raise you-
As soon as Bee’s systems recognised an energon shortage, he was forced into a temporary stasis lock. Unfortunately for the bot, the Malto's could not tell the difference between stasis and a classic nap following an exhausting string of days, which meant rather than working to wake him up, they simply left him to rest in the barn. As the hours ticked on and the mech’s system didn’t register any attempts to fix him, it sent off a repair alert to the scout’s primary medic. ----------------------------- When the Cybertronians had gone their separate ways, Ratchet took it upon himself to continue his work as a medic, helping any Cybertronian that came across his path, ‘any’ included decepticons brave enough to approach the hatchet. "Alright, now take it easy. I don't want you coming back here with the same injury, Arcee." He instructed, finishing up by sanding down the newly welded area on the side of Arcee's helm. "I know, I know." She laughed, waving her servo dismissively, "I'm serious." Ratchet grunted, grabbing her wrist to make her stop. "I am too!" The femme insisted, grinning vibrantly.
The medic sighed, shaking his head. "Alright, now get out of here." Arcee laughed, jumping to her pedes. "Thanks, Ratchet!" "You're welcome. Now go!" He gently shoved her. "I'm going!" Ratchet watched her walk away, before turning around and beginning to clean up. Very rarely did anyone cross his path, so he enjoyed the company when it arrived, but he also enjoyed the absolute bliss of when it ended. While he bathed in the relief of the conclusion of his weekly social interaction, he received a message. "A repair alert?" He muttered out loud, not having received one for years. Before he even thought about preparing for a second patient, he opened the popup. The medic rested against a tree, scanning over the information presented, when his optics locked on a keyword. Bumblebee Ratchet shot up, rereading the alert to make sure he was correct. When he was able to process that he was, he wasted no time collecting his gear, working out where the signal had come from, then quickly hitting the road. ----------------------------- Optimus had just finished the work GHOST had given him. He sighed as he collapsed onto the floor. “I’m guessing it was a fun and fulfilling experience?” Elita mocked, patting the back of the Prime’s helm. “Let me become one with the AllSpark in peace. Please.” “You didn’t help us with clean-up.” She huffed. “I was working. The only time I actually stopped, GHOST gave me even more work.” The Prime complained, “Bee’s lucky I care about him so much, otherwise I would kill him for distracting me.” “Speaking of Bee, how’s he holding up?” Elita hummed, thinking back to when she had heard the news that Bumblebee was on the run once more, after getting caught by GHOST. Optimus simply shrugged. “He hasn’t contacted me for two days now. But last I checked he was still alive.” Hearing that, Elita frowned, not liking the way the Prime simply dismissed indicators that the mech was probably hurt, or worse. Optimus side, rolling back onto his stomach and closing his optics. He wanted to take the next few days off to rest, recuperat-
“Optimus, we need to go.” Optimus whined loudly, then looked up. “Megatron, I love you, but if you thought, for even a moment, that I’m going somewhere without kicking and screaming, you’re insane.” Megatron let out a dark chuckle, making the other two Cybertronians nervous. “So I should tell Dot you're letting her down?” Optimus sprung to life hearing that, quickly appearing by Megatron’s side. “What happened to Agent Malto? Or was it the kids?! Did something happen to the Terrans?! I knew I should’ve found a replacement for Bumblebee. I just didn't think he was doing much to keep them safe- considering the damn bot got caught- but I should've replaced him anyway!” “Wow. Okay.” Megatron growled, rolling his optics, “glad to know you think so highly of your scout considering he’s the reason Agent Malto called.” “..He’s in Philadelphia, undercover at a Bot Brawl, looking for Grimlock.” “Apparently not. According to Agent Malto, he’s at her house, injured and in a deep recharge." The former decepticon responded. Elita stood up, her eyes wide. She went over and rested her servo on Optimus's shoulder, waiting for his response. Optimus said nothing. Instead, he shrugged Elita's servo off, then walked past Megatron. "I'll cover you two," Elita promised, pushing Megatron to follow the Prime, "make sure he doesn't kill anyone." "I'll try."
----------------------------- Dot was waiting out front of her house, the children all situated around Bumblebee, all 7 incredibly nervous. Alex was standing beside his wife, but couldn’t help the way his eyes kept wandering back to his unresponsive friend. “Dottie.. what if they don’t arrive quick enough?” “Don’t worry, they will.” She gave him a reassuring smile, before something caught her eye, “see?”
With that Megatron transformed to land, Optimus not too far behind. “Agent Malto.” The grey Mech grinned, kneeling down to greet her. “I’m glad you two-” Optimus quickly walked past her, approaching his scout. Alex grabbed Robby and Mo, moving them out of the way, encouraging the Terrans to move as well. Optimus said nothing, inspecting the bot. Dot watched with a heavy heart, seeing the large mech- the same mech that led the autobots in the fight against the decepticons, who witnessed many of his friends fall, who had to say goodbye to his home- struggle not to break down then and there. Megatron, however, was a tad bit more distracted by the sound of an approaching vehicle. “Did you call anyone else?”
Dot, alarmed by the question, quickly turned on her heel, staring off in the direction that the mild tremors were coming from. “GHOST?” “Not possible. Elita would’ve called.” That’s when the vehicle came into the clearing, one that quickly transformed into a raging medic. “Is that-” “Ratchet?” Alex finished his son’s question, his mouth hanging open. The medic said nothing as he ran over to the injured bot, kneeling beside Optimus. “What happened?” “It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have given him such a da-” “Who’s to blame comes after we get him out of the stasis lock.” Ratchet snapped, getting up and standing at his full height, “Prime, move him so he’s sitting up against the barn.” The Prime didn’t think, he just followed Ratchet’s instructions, being as carefully as possible to move him. The Maltos and former warlord stood back, watching the doctor at work. "So, that's Ratchet?" Robby questioned, "I thought he would be-" "Nicer." Twitch finished his sentence. Megatron laughed. "He's good fun-" Megatron cleared his throat, "-When he's not in doctor mode." "Oh!" was all the kids could say. "QUIET!" Ratchet snapped, not even bothering to turn around. "Alex, didn't you tell me that you wanted to throw around a ball with the kids?" Dot nudged her husband's arm. Alex gave her a confused look, but quickly picked up on what she was putting down. "Yep! Let's go kids!" With slight resistance at first, all seven kids went with Alex into the paddock.
-----------------------------
Optimus was far too shock by the sight of Bee's condition to hear the medic's warning. It was only when he felt Megatron holding his arm that he snapped back into reality. The glare-no DEATH in Ratchet's optics alerts Optimus of the severity of the rage. He felt guilt. "I should have pushed against the sudden work GHOST gave me instead of messaging Megatron to keep track of the everyone, I am so-" "WHAT???"

Sorry this is a bit tied to the last ask but I couldn't fit it cohesively; but I thought it was interesting how 'Decoy' ended on the hopeful note of Frenzy and Lazerbeak turning a new leaf, only for the next time we see them it's in a passive antagonistic role as working at an event that draws in Cybertronians with the promise of Energon. The growing emphasis on the necessity and scarcity of Energon along with GHOST's hardline policy, also throws new light on Hardtop and Swindle introduction attempting to steal Energon, which turned out to be a trap set up by the Autobots in alignment in GHOST. They are offered a 'peaceful life' by Optimus but even in that scene, Hardtop points out he means prison, and we now know what the conditions are like there. How intentional do you think this is? And is there anything else you think might get recontexualised?
Well, 100% intentional, I'm sure. After the most recent two-parter especially, the scarcity of energon and how that's taken advantage of is definitely a running theme. And it's interesting that now it's not only Cybertronians being taken advantage of because of this, since we know Mandroid tried to break away from GHOST in the past but now has no choice but to work with them since he's been energon poisoned.
Hm... things that could be recontextualized... I'm not sure, but I have some speculations about things that might happen:
An exploration of Mo growing afraid of her and her siblings' powers and maybe wishing she had no part in it. She was clearly disturbed (and of course she was!) by what happened at the end of the most recent two-parter, and a significant portion of the show has been dealing with accepting difference and the unknown. I think Mo may end up struggling with this because of how much danger her family's in, and that this could maybe be tied into an allegory about how scary it can be to see yourself change as you age?
Hashtag having to deal with the violation to her mind, and maybe an exploration of objectification that relates to her ability to tap into non-sentient machines. I trust the show to further explore the trauma she's been through, considering how effectively Twitch's being adultified has been showcased. I'm hoping that, like Nightshade and Jawbreaker, she'll get an episode in which she gets to open up to somebody who can relate to this terrible ordeal she went through.
Agent Schloder being forced to realize the "white savior" narrative he's internalized is bullshit. It's weird given he's such a ridiculous character, but I think Earthspark might use him to explore how people who believe they are good, who speak up in the military or law enforcement, just get retaliated against. I do think this would be a valuable thing to show.
It can't have been smart of GHOST to put the entirety of the Decepticon High Command in prison together, right?
These are just guesses, though. Something I appreciate about Earthspark is that it is has done a lot of things that are very weird and unexpected for TF, so I don't feel super confident that I'll know what could happen!

THE SALT I HAVE!
I finally got into that Nickelodeon Earthspark page just to see Bumblebee's expanded bio, but it's EMPTY! Like he's the only character listed in the cast with NO BIO! CMOOOOON! DHBFGHGBF
UPD: Other bio look very interesting, they put some crucial details that can make a very interesting writing... I'm sad there is no Bee info. I guess I have to stick to only a little thing I know, that he's nervous about being a mentor and afraid to show cracks.
Gonna copy bios here, just in case bc their site is a pain to get to.
ROBBY MALTO
Robby Malto is a 13-year-old boy who begins our story in a grouchy headspace, frustrated by his family’s recent move from his hometown of Philadelphia to the remote, sleepy town of Witwicky. While he’s proud of his African-American/Filipino-American heritage, he’s not thrilled with his parents. When he and his younger sister, Mo, witness the birth of new Terran Transformers and decide to bring them home, the excitement snaps Robby out of his funk. It’s one thing to read about Transformers bots in his Dad’s history books, but it's another to meet one in real life! Robby’s a smart kid with an abundance of moxie, so he tends to rush into things, and his charisma inspires others to follow (with mixed results). Robby’s intentions are always good, even when nudging others beyond their comfort zone.
MORGAN “MO” MALTO
Mo (Morgan) Malto is Robby’s 9-year-old younger sister. Though she’s emotionally mature for her age, she’s able to look at everything with a wide-eyed sense of optimism and hope. Mo’s infinite well of positivity is a gift and a curse because she always wants everyone to get along. She feels responsible for managing the family’s happy coexistence. Mo takes great pride in her self-appointed role as ice-breaker/friendship-enforcer/harmonizer. She may be smaller than her new robot siblings, but Mo feels like their big sister. For her, family comes first no matter who you are or where you’re from.
TWITCH
Twitch is a Terran, one of the first earthborn Transformers bots, and a driven competitor. Like her brother, Thrash, she was born out of cave water. She’s a keen observer of everything around her. While she’s bonded to both Mo and Robby, she and Robby are two peas in a pod. Her high-octane brain is always working as she analyzes situations and sorts out plans of action, positioning her to become a leader within her sibling group. When her drive for victory combines with her palpable confidence, Twitch’s attitude can be misinterpreted as arrogant or pushy. She always means well, though. It’s not her fault she’s a high achiever who wants to be the best! Twitch’s alt-mode is a flying drone.
THRASH
Thrash is Terran, one of the first earthborn Transformers bots, and a cheeky wild child. Like his sister, Twitch, he was born out of cave water in the caves of Witwicky. He’s a bringer of fun and good times with a happy-go-lucky attitude. While he’s bonded to both Mo and Robby, he and Mo are partners-in-crime. He doesn’t mind a little mud on his wheels because he couldn’t care less about what others think of him. Pure impulse, he’s a good-hearted rebel and questions all the rules restricting his everyday life. You can rely on Thrash to be the first one in battle and the first one to make a joke. Thrash isn’t rude, he’s just testing every limit. Thrash’s alt-mode is a motorcycle with a side car.
OPTIMUS PRIME
Optimus Prime is a legend among the Autobots and Decepticons. The charismatic leader of the Autobots, complete with the ability to speak magnitudes with a raised brow. Optimus Prime is a courageous Autobot leader who has forged a new alliance with humans. The birth of the Terrans has given him renewed hope for the future. He’s partnered up with the underground organization, G.H.O.S.T., to help round up dangerous Decepticons and make Earth a safer place for all. Optimus Prime has put 100% of his trust in the organization but does that trust go both ways? Optimus Prime’s alt-mode is a semi truck.
ELITA- 1
Elita-1 makes being tough look easy. She’s the physically gifted, confident, second-in-command of the Autobots. Elita-1 is fair and never overbearing to the team. She listens to everyone and is a bot the Terrans look up to. She excels at coming up with clever plans to catch ‘Cons, but Elita-1 doesn’t mind if things go sideways. Plus, she gets to improvise. She’s a hard bot to keep up with in the field! Elita-1’s alt-mode is a 4-wheel drive all-terrain SUV.
MEGATRON
Megatron believes in making any sacrifice necessary for the survival of Cybertronian civilization. He’s a headstrong idealist, but isn’t unwilling to adjust his strategy when victory hangs in the balance. As one of the most well-known Decepticon figureheads, Megatron is an innate leader who commands any room he is in. His sharp wit, intelligence and clever nature aid him in his goals.
ALEX MALTO
Alex Malto is the father to Robby and Mo, surrogate father to the Terrans and husband to Dot Malto. He’s a college professor with a PhD in Cybertronian History and is extremely passionate about everything he does. He’s a well of information which makes him a great resource for the kids and Terrans. He can also rattle off dad jokes like a pro. Alex is a huge fan of Transformers, so when he meets them, he can be a tad overenthusiastic. Alex loves to share his rich Filipino culture with the kids, especially through cuisine and martial arts.
DOROTHY “DOT” MALTO
Dot (Dorothy) Malto is the mother to Robby and Mo, surrogate mother to the Terrans and wife to Alex Malto. She’s also Witwicky’s newest park ranger…or so she thought. She’s a loving mother and ex-soldier, so she can flip that switch when necessary. She’s very humble about her heroic background and never acts like she’s above anyone. Unconditional love is Dot’s superpower, and it extends to just about everyone in her life, including all the animals and bots under her protection. Optimus Prime is the only person who experiences the cooler side of Dot’s warm personality.
MANDROID
Mandroid (fka Dr. Meridian) was a scientist-soldier in the war, but the fighting left him injured, jaded, and ultimately, very anti-Cybertronian. With this new ideology, he believes Earth and its humans deserve a protector (himself) and surmises the annihilation of all Cybertronians is the best for the planet. However, in order to eliminate all Cybertronian life, he believes he needs to become more like them; a decision which takes a great physical and mental toll. Mandroid’s a twisted villain, though he does have a sense of humor.
