A Tibia Mariner tattoo design - and a nice addition to future Souls Love Compendium (a book that is eventually going to be beefed up to 80 pages)!
But as of right now - issues 1-3 of Souls Love always available here or here.
And if you want to commission some Souls art for yourself, here's what I still need to complete the book:
* 3 characters from Dark Souls 1/2/3 (Havel for sure + some other options)
* 1 Bloodborne character (proobably Kos?)
* 3 characters from Sekiro (maybe Owl, Hanbei?)

you ever look at the trees in mountaintops and then look at the trees in mariner areas
Oh, that's cool! I'd wager it has to do with them both being mass graves/areas with large concentrations of dead people. Mariners are powerful undead, and usually accompanied by lesser undead like skeletons.
For the mountaintops, half of them is dead giants and the other half is a graveyard. And don't forget, this whole place was a warzone. Every Leyndell soldier, troll, Zamor knight, giant, and fire monk who died in the Giant Wars is lying in these mountains.
We know that after Godwyn died, he fused with the Erdtree's root system and is spreading himself along it (eyes and the stormveil root). I think that it was easiest for him to spread himself to areas like these with many dead, and these trees with dead bodies hewn into them sprouted as a result.
About the Mariners, something I've always wondered about their areas... Are the Mariners there because there's a lot of lesser undead, or are the lesser undead there because there's a Mariner? According to myth, Mariners serve to guide undead to the afterlife, and I could see either the Mariners seeking out places with lots of lost souls or the lost souls being drawn to the Mariners.
I recently reread Lockwood and Company which I guess is why I'm fixating on the concept of a Mariner's presence awakening and drawing in lesser undead. That's how some ghosts work in those books.

Undertale Music -> Elden Ring Bosses/NPC’s
Thanks to @fellomenking my brain is having thoughts. I am completely open to this being a discussion PLEASE share your ideas!
OP started with:
Tibia marina blasting bonetrousle
Bergentrückung is definitely Morgott.
Blaidd is Dogsong.
My contributions:
death by glamour absolutely belongs to Mohg!
Kalé is grillby’s. Chill man. Fire. Red. You get the idea.
The bird that carries you of a disproportionate gap belongs to that one stupid fucking bird you grind in Mohgwyn’s palace
Does that make Malenia have Megalovania?
Those flower enemies, especially the ones from Lirunia (fuck their magic) totally deserve “your best friend”
Battle Against A True Hero? Honestly for some reason giving me Godfrey / Hoarah Loux vibes… idk why.

Good ol skelly in a boat! These hunched skeletons like to dress in lace and ride ghostly boats. They steer their vessel & try to ruin your day with a large horn. A horde of undead skeletons usually aid in battle.

tibia mariner because you are a eskeleton
Well. You got me there.
But if I had deathroot I’d totally go feed it to Gurranq and pet him, tell him he’s a good boy and try to help find a way to break his curse.
Well at least I can summon some skele-friends! This Graveyard about to turn into a Raveyard—
