Explanations and Colorless Background Ver. under Cut: 

1. Adeline and Stanley happily chatting cause I adore their friendship very much. Stanley is the one to make the second most visits to the Estate Railway after the Beatles(like Harris and Mary Ann). Though they were in complete different situations while working for the military, but Stanley knows what it’s like to have guilt, moral injuries and complex which are some of the many things they bond over. (Drawing the Estate Railway Symbol was hard so think of this before she’s a permanent member there 😊)

2. Adeline: I’ve only known Nancy for an hour but if anything were to happen to her, I’ll destroy everyone and then myself. 😊😊

(Jk but Addy is protective of her adoptive little sister) They have a sisterly relationship and I like to think Nancy does show her stuff Adeline never got to do or see (Girl was literally left in the dark so she wants knows what’s happening) and Adeline believes her. She think Nancy is very bright and loves to listen to her, she very much enjoys the company.

Adeline has a tendency to call everyone (mainly humans) by formal pronouns, regardless of their age which she’s working on and does feel an bit envious over the others who can tell Nancy stories while she can barely remember her own memories but pushes that down and happily listens and chats with her like the rest of the gang. (Nancy and the other kids decorate her face with stickers. 🥰)

Nancy, who's now a young woman in college, went to the salon.

The hairdresser: "So you want to get a hair extension?"

Nancy: "Yes, please. I want to surprise a friend of mine."

Nancy went to the engine shed once she got her hair done and noticed Rheneas was sleeping inside.

Nancy: "Aha! Perfect timing!"

She then approached the sleeping Rheneas. Proceeded to put eye drops into both eyes and took a breath to prepare herself. She then poked Rheneas' cheek.

Rheneas: (*Still half-asleep*) "Yawn… Driver, is that you?"

Nancy: (*with dramatic fake teary eyes*) "RHENEAS! YOU'RE FINALLY AWAKE! YOU'VE BEEN IN A COMA FOR TWO YEARS! I EVEN FORGOT TO CUT MY OWN HAIR, WAITING FOR YOU TO WAKE UP! THIS IS TRULY A MIRACLE!!!!" 😭😭😭
