So wild Hums while cooking right? In totk he Hums different Zelda Songs ( because of course sm like me would notice that. I’m playing too much zelda).

Like ballad of the windfish or ballad of the goddess, og Zelda overworld theme etc.

You could a lot with that. I mean, imagine the surprise when wild just randomly starts humming saria’s song or ballad of the windfish and time and legend just eating or smth and then hearing wild hum songs that probably only they should know. That could lead to interesting conversations. Like I dunno wild mentioning eventide island ( or whatever it’s called) or sarias lake or smth

Which again. Hyrules got a town called saria town I’m sure. And that again could lead to Rauru town, wild saying he knew a king called rauru, etc ( end of thinking capacity)

Could someone do me the favor of writing this?

thoughts on sound design and Divinity in ultrakill

#listening to things like #the sounds the virtues and their heavenly beam attacks make #or the hum of gabriel's light weapons #it's not the sound of an angelic choir. it's warbly and distorted and inorganic #almost like a synthesized imitation of more traditionally heavenly sound #and i don't remember if i've talked about it here. but that ties into the mechanical nature of heaven and its heirarchy #reading what the game has to say about gabriel. the wording very Very badly wants you to think of gabriel as a machine #as a weapon #the way the terminal talks about him and the way the council does #it's dehumanizing commodification #and that brings to mind the contrast the game sets up between angels and machines #because angels are counterpart to Robots in ultrakill's story. not demons #the game sets up conflict between Heaven and Earth. with hell just serving as a backdrop #and that shows in the way the game handles angels and machines #where the structure of heaven's forces is rigid and the sound of divinity is a synthetic growl #looking at ultrakill's scripture on machines on the other hand. you'll find that every robot described in the terminal has a story involving #some kind of deviation from originally manufactured purpose. form. design. aesthetic #they're really Wild Animals #they fight. they Live #they evolve and they mutate #they do whatever the hell they need to #and i find that fascinating. perfect contrast #again my fingers are crossed tighter than hell that the Violence layer plays with that animalism #or that machinekind is at least explored further somewhere else in the story #either way. can't wait #no one does hell like hakita #make it this far down i'd love to hear what you think

Considering the howling stones, Wolfie definitely husky sings. Legend hates it and tells him he has a bad voice every time.

I love the little happy twirl Wolf Link does when he finishes a song, it is adorable and I giggle every time. I'm sure he still does it while Legend is grumbling. One time Legend cuts him off mid song and he just stops howling/singing and his ears droop and Legend is like "wait no, you can finish--" and backtracking.

Wild comes back to find his bunny friend using grass as an instrument while his wolf friend howls along because King had to make up for hurting Wolfie's feelings somehow, dang it, so find, they had a concert. Don't mention to anybody else, ever.

Dracula/Lisa + amulet, Hector/Rosaly + apples, Isaac/Joachim + pumpkin

As his first gesture as her husband, Dracula had gifted Lisa with an ancient amulet, forged by his own magic and to be kept at all times hidden in her bosom. A lucky charm, as it were, to protect his wife from the evil of the castle that she could now call her home.

But it seemed that the evil of mankind far surpassed his own power.

Hector didn't have a favorite food, back in the castle. He ate like a king, mostly meat and elaborate dishes from places of the world he didn't even know they existed, but food was merely nourishment for the body, to fuel it for the grueling task of creating life. He also never had to cook for himself, not when he was personally served by the skeletons living in the kitchen.

Having to pick up his own food from the trees was a different, new experience. Holding the basket for Rosaly to fill with fruit was the least a gentleman could do. It was not as gentlemanly to steal one apple and eat it for himself when Rosaly wasn't looking, but he couldn't resist the temptation.

His first apple pie, baked without help to keep the surprise, was, to put it delicately, an unedible disaster. But Rosaly hugged him nonetheless, and that only spurned Hector to try again and again, until all their efforts in picking apples were worth it.

He never enjoyed eating more in his life.

Of all the things that a Devil Forgemaster could be skeptical of. Smiling, Joachim crouched to pet the goofy creature. New clothes aside, it was identical to how he remembered. It was nice to see it again. "It would be beneficial to you to not underestimate us, wildcat."

as of now, she really doesn't have any hobbies. she likes video games well enough, but only as a recreational thing and not a hobby. considering how high up in the Nexus business chain she is, girlie's gonna need one

she doesn't have a favorite book or tv show (again, she's very busy), but I would say she'd like the PJO series if she ever got around to it

favorite movie is a no-brainer. Teen Beach Movie. both of them. she loves the soundtrack and the whole beach aesthetic they've got going on, and she wants in on that. Venus just fucking LOVES the beach. she wants to live there one day. hopefully

that's a spoiler, but Venus does NOT like Sister Kraang. just. does not.

during the time she had to tame him, Venus just taught Four the basics of reading and speech. nothing too crazy. although Four does know how to do taxes now, but I'm pretty sure that skill doesn't really apply to a family that doesn't have to pay them at all
