I’ve never actually bought a phone, I just use the one I have until it stops functioning properly and then a benevolent and kind friend usually offers me their old one (often FAR better than my current one).

Another quick vent because I was called by a telemarketer not long after the last one. I picked up only to immediately say no and hang up. Since then I've been holed up in my room, stewing and pretending that it's 1999, that I have no cellphone, and that my mother's using the landline in the other room.

I've been sorting documents under very dim lights for a while now.

Here's a hurdle I've come across. I really want to start writing more consistently again, but this is what I'm dealing with at the moment:
