Ok but Marinette moving to Gotham and she has this habit of feeding strays. The outside of her apartment is like the number one hanging spot for cats.

Every time one of the many vigilantes get turned into cats, which happens quite a lot, to everyone's surprise, they would find their way to her place and wait for pick up. If they get treats and pets too then that's a bonus.

Also Red Hood is missing and things are being turned upside down when his teammates say fuck to the no meta rule and tear through the city for a clue about his whereas.

Meanwhile Jason has the softest bed with lots of head scratches and under Marinette's care. Also he gets a front row seat to the shenanigans happening just inside Marinette's apartment as the kwamiis and Marinette freak out about the weird magic on the poor little cat.

Yeah so remember the accidental kitty acquisition au? You know, the one with Jason as a cat?

Yeah so Plagg definitely understands what cat!Jason is meowing about. Like everything from high-pitched yowling as Marinette bundles him up for a little nice bath (he's embarrassed) or the quiet purring when he loafs on her laps with the :3 face.

But see, Plagg loves chaos. And he decides that, why not sit down and watch things burn and not inform Marinette that the cat she thought was a stray was actually a man who was turned into a cat by a nasty spell.

Jason probably realizes that after some time and he delights in pushing things off shelves and tables and framing Plagg in revenge for all of this. All is fair in love and war :D

Marinette finds a soaked cat taking shelter on the fire escape at her apartment and brings them in. She basically adopted them while being a motherhen and drying the poor baby.

One pet visit later, she has a new little kitty living with her.

Meanwhile, Dick, after getting in a fight with a rogue mage, got turned into a brown cat, got soaked in the rain and is now living with this woman who lives in the same apartment complex as him.

Things would have been better if he could find his way back to his place though.

Anyway, Rose knows, from first hand experiences, of how good Marinette is with cats. Her time as Marinette's pet kitty is almost like a pleasant dream.

So when her brother got fucked over by some magic and ended up as a cat, she just picks him up and is on the phone with Marinette asap.

Imagine Rose showing up with a kitty and casually hitting on Marinette all the while discussing cat care with her. Except Marinette is enamored with the cute kitty and the flirting just flies over her head.
