The way Tadashi would be amazing at damage control for Ainosuke if he ever slips.

Ainosuke is smart enough to be careful in his public life but i know that if something ever happens, Tadashi will be there to gaslight the entire society into thinking it didn't.

Kikuchi Tadashi (Skaters backstage)

Kikuchi Tadashi S name: Snake Sign: Scorpio Birthday: November 22 Height: 182cm (5'11) Wight 62kg (136lbs) Blood type: A

He’s Ainosuke’s secretary and the son of a gardener whose family has served the Shindou family for generations. He obediently serves Ainosuke no matter the circumstances and never gives his opinion on them. He’s entrusted with the operations of the “S”. He participated in the tournament as the mysterious capman Snake.

At the “S” He runs the “S”, directing the capmen in their dudes, and switching the monitors feeds. Sometimes he also flies a helicopter.

His past with Ainosuke Kikuchi spoke to a young Ainosuke when he was crying and invited him to skate with him. Kikuchi is the one who taught Ainosuke to skate.

Mysterious capman Snake The mysterious capman that suddenly appeared at the tournament. The true identify of the person who called himself “Snake” and set the place abuzz was actually Kikuchi. His skating that slithers back and forth is somehow familiar to ADAM.

Director Utsumi Comment If we didn’t add something special to his design he would have had no presence whatsoever so he’s the only one we gave a mole. Also the highlight in his eye is smaller than the other characters to give him a dark and hopeless feeling. I told Chiba Michinori to “make him have dead eyes” when I sent in the order (lol). To begin with he’s only there as ADAM’s secretary, but in the second half he joins as a mysterious skater so I think it worked for his character.

Character Designer Chiba Michinori Comment Director Utsumi said in the order to “make him look unhappy”, so I made the highlights in his eyes smaller than the other character’s. However, as the story progressed, the eyes everyone was drawing became bigger. That’s not just for Kikuchi but for all the characters, since drawing bigger eyes is easier so it just naturally happens. But making Kikuchi’s eyes bigger makes the highlight brighter (lol). That’s why I had to be conscious of it and fix his eyes in the key frames that came to me.

Colorist Gotou Yukari Comment Because of Kikuchi lack of personality, I shrouded him in subdued colors. At first I made his necktie a safe navy blue or reddish brown, but that was too subdued, so I thought it would be interesting to add in how he’s Ainosuke’s secretary into his tie, so to identify his master I gave him a pink tie. Kikuchi’s tie is his only unique point. His “S” costume is the capman outfit so it’s a red cap with a khaki colored jacket and black pants so it’s all very simple.

i CAN imagine it. but i promise u i SHOULD NOT.

god ainosuke doesn't give a damn about you beyond how you look on his arm around other people. beyond what you offer him superficially. maybe cares about knocking you up eventually just so he gets an heir, but he's not particularly concerned about it at the moment; there's still time. you're still a young, pretty little thing that he can wear out like a symbol of his status and then leave at the door once he gets home without a second thought.

but tadashi is there when he's not. tadashi is the one who fields all of your communication with eachother, since ainosuke won't ever answer your calls. tadashi is the one who breaks it to you that your husband's gone away for work and won't be back for days. he's the one who finds you crying in that big empty house when you think you're there alone. and when he finally dares to say something to the young master, something gentle like 'shouldn't you speak to your wife about this, shindou-sama? won't that make her feel uncared for?' when the young man is planning yet another extended trip away from home (from you) ainosuke merely shrugs and tells him that if he's so concerned about what you think that he can take care of you himself.
