AliExpress problems:
Regardless of how many times I set my currency to USD, clear my cookies, and log in and out, it will always revert back to Russian rubles on my phone browser. (Desktop browser is fine; site language remains English regardless.)
All search results will sometimes (not always) be padded out with results from earlier, unrelated searches, sometimes from months in the past. If I looked up "AAA batteries" at some point, the results for "tea pick" will be at least 30% batteries. If a search term produces only 2 hits, they are likely to be entirely buried within these irrelevant results. Clearing cookies, logging in and out, and switching to another browser/device does not prevent this when AliExpress decides it wants to do it - it appears to be IP-based.
It is impossible to decline to apply the "Welcome Offer" coupon to an eligible item, which is a problem because it is impossible to complete the purchase of any item to which the coupon has been applied. It detects all such purchases as attempted fraud, giving the message "We had to close this order due to account security concerns. Error Code: SC_1".
It will nonetheless charge you for this.
In my case, it immediately reverted the charge each time - however, upon Googling, I found people saying that they had to file multiple $1-5 disputes with their bank/card company over this. (Because AliExpress does not view the charges as having been made, it offers no built-in means of disputing them.)

The item arrived with a broken internal bottom. It looked nothing like the photo. It only had 3 leaves, 2 of which had nowhere to attach them to the plant, no moss included. The plant head was just a hard plastic mold with no detail, the mouth was not articulated. The pot was supposed to be metal but it was just molded plastic. Very disappointed
Update: I got a fast reply back to my refund request. Looks like they’re going to refund us, no hassle. Pleased
2nd Update: Full refund received within 24 hours & they let me keep the item
I should add, the few times I’ve ordered from Ali Express, I’ve kept it under $5. I mainly order fun earrings, sunglasses, rings. I’ve been happy with everything I’ve ordered except this plant & as I said, they gave me a full refund within 24 hours & let me keep it so that makes up for it

I bought outfits for my Spamton plushie from AliExpress, and most of them arrived recently! A red suit (he just needs a yellow tie), a groom tux, and a bride dress and veil!
I need to get him a belt for his red pants because they're a little loose. I also need to fix his bowtie on the groom tux because part of it wasn't assembled properly. His bride outfit is honestly perfect! I didn't think the veil would fit him, but it did! He's so beautiful!
All that's left to wait for are his pajamas, which should be coming very soon!
