Try this? Take a match or a stick and see how far you can throw it, yikes not that far, now take the same match or stick and by placing it in between your thumb and forefinger and flick it. What's the result, weirdly enough (I did) flick it loads further than I could actually throw it. Then taking the mechanics of actually throwing something vs the flick it makes no sense that the flick actually went further the throw had more motion more distance but the end result wasn't as good. A silly story I know, but this had me thinking that it was probably the kinetic energy from the flick, the forefinger pushing towards the stick or match and at a certain point, when the energy compounded by the thumb giving way drove the match further away than the throw. Now, why am I pondering this, mmm Perhaps if applied to life, no matter how strong your arm is or how fast you can swing it because there was no resistance it didn't help much in throwing it. The much smaller less powerful finger flick due to the resistance did way better. I take this lesson from it, when you are facing resistance, learning something staying up late going the extra mile, or merely facing some adversity which could be judged as resistance. Keep pushing. at some point, the resistance will give way and you will be further towards your endeavor than by not facing the resistance! Perhaps we then it would be advantageous to seek resistance do what is hard and difficult for it will yield a better result. Hi, I don't want this to seem rude, or weird, which is why I'm on Anonymous, but I just got back on Tumblr after a few years, I was always so busy with school, but I finally graduated! Anyways, I'm trying to find a bunch of the people I used to follow because several of them moved accounts or deactivated and I think you might be one of the people? Did you have any old URL's you used to go by?

No worries. Congrats on graduating! My old url was allinye if that helps. Admittedly, I'm not very active on this account anymore. I just reblog a few things sometimes and disappear again for several weeks lol.

3. 3 reasons why you make graphics

1. It’s a different form of art; when I first joined tumblr, I’ve always been amazed with the graphics/gifs that come my way, and always told myself I’d like to study them and make my own someday;2. It’s faster than illustrating– in my case at least; when I have so much feelings and need a quick outlet to share with fellow fans, graphics are the way to go!3. To keep people updated; I am the moderator of a blog that’s dedicated to a certain pair and the fandom is dead, but one way to keep it alive is by creating graphics for it (because I am a slow illustrator) :D

4. Who/what inspired you to make graphics?

Same reason as number 1 and 2 above! I’m not sure if anyone particularly inspired me, but my favorite graphic makers would be asheathes (their originality! The many layouts they’ve done and inspired us with), hawkeyers (I remember turning to their graphics when I was new because I love their use of colors!) and Sithaari (previously Allinye; with both their colors and layouts!)

I also love the works of whoever is modding pay-her-a-visit! ❤

6. A graphic you’re proud of

For GIF’s it’s either this or this!

For graphics it’s this one :D (I think more so of the context behind it)

AAAND this one, this holds a special place in my heart because it’s the first time I removed a character frame-by-frame
