Ok. So. Cocaine Bear was actually hilarious. I hadn't seen any of the promotional material and just knew that I needed to see a movie about the time a bear ate a bunch of cocaine. By all accounts this was actually a good thing because apparently the trailers and ads really hype it up as this amazing movie that's gonna be better than everything. And it's just not. And that's ok.

What it is, is a hilarious comedy slasher where the slasher is a bear zonked out of its mind on cocaine. A lot of the comedy was genuinely funny and they knew exactly what they wanted the movie to be. It's not going to win awards, but it's going to make you laugh a lot and have a good time.

i hate being overly negative about a new sonic project because. while im not against criticizing them and will criticize them when i see fit. i still try to find the positives in everything sonic even the games that are widely labelled as irredeemable garbage. because i love sonic and i hate it when sonic is the punching bag of the internet and i do genuinely believe that every piece of sonic media has at least some good qualities but like. the knuckles series really isnt very good im sorry people are right about this one . and i say this as someone who likes the sonic movies and thought knuckles was awesome in sonic 2 . where did we go wrong as a society

I think I really need to see someone react to the scene of Dakota, dressed as Santa, releasing a dinosaur out of his costume, and ordering it to eat the egg roll out of context. Also based on the holographic wreath, the floating tables and fashion you could probably figure out it takes place in the future. There is so much happening there. It's an old guy, in a santa costume, at a christmas party, in the future, with a dinosaur stuffed in his coat, clearly snuck into the party for the purposes of eating a singular egg roll for unknown reasons. Not caring if he disrupts the other party goers or if he gets caught because he openly releases the dinosaur (which he kept in his coat), in front of people.... who then proceed to freak out because it is a DINOSAUR LOOSE AT A CHRISTMAS PARTY IN THE FUTURE.

What do you even make of that. It's not even a "this didn't even make sense in context" situation or a "this is just a minor aside". The whole thing makes complete sense in context. It is completely in character (and the character isn't even particularly "lol random" like some characters). It is a fundamental part of the episodes plot.

The motivation makes sense (stop a fight over food), the way he goes about it makes sense for his character (overkill and utilizing time travel because he is in fact, a time traveler.... which is also why he is in the future). The Santa costume makes sense (it's a Christmas party and he's disguising himself to avoid being caught time traveling, but also not putting in too much effort because he's Dakota hence the sort of lack of concern at revealing himself). Even the fight being over an egg roll makes sense because Dakota is a bit of a glutton.

I could see an argument being made that the dinosaur was unnecessary and he could have done something else. Which he did try something simpler. And then escalated to dinosaur. Even if it wasn't a dinosaur it would have been something else absurd.... which is shown when the dinosaur plan fails. (Though at that point it does dissolve into there is little context even in show but still).

It's all completely divorced from the context of a show about a boy with hereditary bad luck taking place in the Phineas and Ferb universe. And yet, absolutely connected to the very foundation of the show.

#one off doesn't even make sense gags are fun #there are a lot of those the in the shows #but completely absurd circumstances that actually do make sense are even funnier to me #mml #if you at least know Dakota #then the absurdity kinda makes sense #but then you see he's old without the episode context #and that has it's own questions #so even if you know dakota and that he's a time traveler with access to dinosaurs and future christmas parties #the fact that he's old brings its own questions

just thinking about how lucerys and aemond are really the sons that define rhaenyra and alicent as mothers; both of their eldests are kinda non-entities to them -- jace because he's perfect and aegon because he's a lost cause -- but these second boys are really their foils and their hearts and the embodiments of their worst fears: Luke, with a weak claim and a weak dragon, always shown in positions of uninvited pressure and powerlessness and while hiding behind his mother holding her hand and all the things Rhaenyra was afraid to be in Viserys' eyes; Aemond, a royal Valyrian in command of virtually unchecked power -- all the agency and authority and implicit safety that unwillingly pregnant fifteen-year-old minor noble Alicent could have only imagined, with all the cruelty and resentment that Alicent was always horrified to find in her own actions, that she fought (and prayed) to drive from her own heart; i think it makes sense so much of the audience is taken by these characters. and it's also why aemond's killing (however unintentional) of lucerys is so tragic. the strong side of alicent killed the weak side of rhaenyra. just like when alicent married her father. just like when alicent crowned aegon king

I wasn't reallt feeling that Stanley parable spirit as of late you know how it goes, BUT, I did found out how to fully restart the game so I did just that, and in my silly little runs in the original endings I went to to the scape pode one, no bucket tho, whoever I do wonder, what the fuck is this??

Honestly at first I thought it was maybe some sort of evil scheme as if to make the workers lose their sense of time given that techincally it could still be Stanleys original office, but then you go up the staris and BOOM next thing Stanley's office again, it can just BE his office again ykwim? I was just thinking WHY exactly they needed a replica of this exact office, in my guess it is definitely something that has to do with TK given they have a literal wormhole during the confusion ending which leads to hundreds if not thousands of reports on its behaviors during the experiments.

BUT, that wasn't even my main reason as to why I wanted to post this, but I decided to just post these two together bc to hell with it why not?

I think a LOT about Narrator's existence origin and how aware their are of what's actually around him, I do like to think he does haves his flaws that he cannot just, be aware of everything around the office and building, and that sign, this damn sign.

I LOVE this sign, it peaks my interest and makes me question, is this one of the things Narrator created? Why? The only way to acess is by LITERALLY locking Narrator away, and it obvioulsy doesnt work, it would never work we NEED it there with us why would he do this? or is this one of the things he is just not aware of?? I love the theory of narrator also being previously a worker (employee 003 to be especific! ive talked about this before) in the same building as Stanley,of them being and/or going trough things similar as TK, it would be a very funny coincidence, workers in that building, no longer have a body, entities within the game hidden away in corners of the office you dont see often, The Narrator, makes me think of another narrator, Curator also exists, maybe i am just saying that there might be other narrators or Im just really into the subject of the experiments the workers of that building have gone trough and how I think its interesnting that narrator just so happened to be one, this doesnt need to make exact sense and what i am stating couldn't be more far away from the facts ! did my silly goofy presentation explaining the plot of angel for my friend's powerpoint night tonight and it was both very fun but also a surprisingly healing experience. like if you still hold resentment and hate for season 4 in your heart I'd honestly recommend it bc having to explain what happens in it to a bunch of people with no emotional investment in any of it really forces you to accept how objectively stupid and funny everything in that season is. it's an imperfect solution for sure but I certainly found it cathartic and it's nice that I've at least found a way to get some enjoyment out of it fdjlkdsljflsj

Reflecting on how ppl perceive me being a guy is interesting bc largely it is a non thing even in lgbt spaces. So most ppl treating me like a guy has been from me joking about it more, which leads others to joke about it too but the jokes are very much like Masc tm donny hates women jokes.
