They all have a pretty calming dreamy feel #I also had to reference Tuvok's room which was HARD #You catch a glimpse of it in 'Alter Ego' though. #he has so many candles and candle holders and ornate looking trinkets #I like it...it feels grandparent-cozy if that makes sense? sometimes you get diagnosed with ADHD as an adult which finally makes your mom actually listen to what ADHD actually is and that she didn't cure it by making me do 100 jumping jacks as a kid when I got too hyper and then she realizes that she may have it too

lol welcome, new cousin! I won't hand her over but I will share her, she's a pretty great grandma Some more grandma stories: - she calls getting minor but ridiculous injuries "pulling a TJ" (I was ridiculously clumsy as a kid and am still fairly accident-prone) so she'll call me up and say "Do you want to hear about the TJ I just pulled?". Her latest one was trying to dump the kitchen trash into the outdoor trash can without having to take the bag out of the kitchen trash can by hoisting the kitchen trash can up onto her porch railing and "letting gravity help". She fell halfway into the outdoor trash can (she's okay! she was laughing when she called me) - she feeds stray cats (and occasionally accidentally stray raccoons) and works with the local animal shelters to try to get the kittens acclimated to people and adopted, and she mostly names them after characters from old westerns but also treats some of them like a soap opera? She tells me about all the drama going on in the local stray cat population at least once a week - Her best friend since like the 70s was a butch lesbian named Lottie. Lottie was best friends with both my grandparents, and they moved cross country multiple times to be neighbors. Lottie passed away before I was born but my grandma still considers her the best friend she ever had - My grandma was part of a "hair color of the month" club and I genuinely do not know what her natural hair color was before it turned white

I’ve been reading early Detective Comic issues (don’t ask why, I have a lot of problems) and if I was offered an answer to only one of the multitude of questions I have, I would have to ask: why is Steve Malone so… pretty?

A bit of context here: early Detective Comics were called “Detective Comics” because they featured stories of multiple detectives. There were other characters to, but the bulk of the stories were about detectives detectiving around. One of these comics is Steve Malone: District Attorney at Law, starring Steve Malone, a district attorney (at law).

Now, maybe I’m just insane, but Steve is drawn very pretty? Like, I don’t know how to explain this in a way that makes sense, he’s just very lovely.

But, on the other hand, Batman is supposed to be an expert gymnast, and it isn’t like gymnasts are particularly large. (Also his proportions are weird because he has the slimness of an acrobat but muscles of steel, giving him a beautiful hourglass figure) Steve isn’t supposed to be a gymnast, he’s just supposed to be a district attorney who’s pretty good at punching people.
