so now here goes the different plots and paths with the love interests. the way i playrd it was as they introduced it, which was ayn aklaid lars claerence. no cael route yet which rips me apart every night. the love interests seem to have consistent values throughout most universes despite all of their diferet upbringings which i find pretty cool considering schoollife and royaltylife are two completely drastic diferent things, and also i nejoy how mc is written with more character and an amazing design to match the rest of the beautifully drawn cast

on that topic the art is GORGEOUS. i have never seen such beautiful detailed art in a game before and i assure you it will not disappoijnt. the graphics and smoothness of the game are especially a great touch. While the arm cuff is from Aranea the necklace and chocker are actually from Damara because in my version the two are actually friends so she gifted vamp the chocker and necklace

I imagen they really like jewelry so i imagen she has a shit ton of them arms, hands, ears, any type of jewelry they most likely own them

Porrim likes helping out others with trying different type of fashion styles and figuring out what makes them feel the best. Basicly she just likes giving a lot of fashion advices for everyone

I imagen that they own multiple sketchbooks that are filled with fashion sketches. They like to draw them a lot during their free time. Some of the dancestors draw their own fashion sketch for fun and Porrim keeps them in their hive to later redraw them and then some day to make them a actual outfit.

I gave Kurloz more wavy horns because i just imagen that from Gamzee to The Grand Highblood the horns just become more and more wavy it is kinda canon but i wanted there to be more of a noticable difference between Gamzees and Kurloz horns

I tried to make its makeup more look like a actual skull because it just seemed way too together like how the eye part were basicly just together looking more like a mask rather then a skull and also the cheeks part were too far away from the mouth

I made Kurloz have eyebags because i believe that clown has way too many nightmares because of what they did to Meulin and end up staying up way too much because of that and ended up having heavy eyebags

Both the necklaces and bracalets are from its matesprit and moirail the leo necklace is from Meulin and the gemini necklace is from Mituna. Purple bracelet and the silly bandz (the silly bandz is a cat) is from Meulin while the red and blue one is from Mituna

Cleo didn’t see the point in lying. In her years of being a witch—she’d long lost count—she’d never known one to stay hidden. They were always revealed for what they were, ugly and hurtful and so much worse than they had begun.

The Water Witch was like that. Sweet in appearance but nasty in nature. Like a clear pool full of sickness and disease. It looks perfect and tastes syrupy sweet, but turns bitter in your throat and spreads plague through your city.

The Water Witch seemed to have fun poisoning others. Drawing them in on her words and lies, twisting the truth until it seemed false, making alliances and already planning to break them. So many were under her spell—so many thought she was exactly as she seemed—so many were foolish.

But Cleo was not. Cleo, in her lifetimes and lifetimes of experience, knew better.

She knew what the Water Witch—what Prismarina was.

“Water Witch. Hello. What brings you here?” Cleo’s tone was ice cold and suspicious. She didn’t know why the Water Wi—why Prismarina was here, and she didn’t trust it.

“I thought I’d offer you one of those spell tomes! I found one that fit you, and I thought you’d like it as a gift,” Prismarina explained with her sickeningly sweet tone, the one that sounded so deceitful it almost made Cleo throw up.

“Oh! Fantastic, lovely. That’s… helpful. I appreciate it. Let me get something to trade for it,” Cleo agreed loftily, trying hard to keep her voice neutral. She didn’t trust Pris, but it wasn’t wise to antagonize her.

“Oh, you don’t need to pay for it! It’s just a friendly gesture, one witch to another.” Pris used her extra-sweet and extra-innocent voice, the one that said I’m just a small little witch! You can trust me. I will won’t stab you in the back!

Cleo didn’t trust it one bit.

“No, I insist.” Cleo’s tone was sharp, leaving no room for argument. She didn’t trust the Water Witch to not come back and use the gift as a receipt to get something out of her—something to give her the higher ground. She didn’t trust the Water Witch to do something out of the goodness of her heart—she knew that the Water Witch could be cruel; she could be more bitter than she could be sweet.

A flash caught her eye, and she was the Water Witch’s expression twist into an angry snarl, something furious and ghastly and not quite right. Something totally different than the front she usually used.

She knew. And the Water Witch knew she knew.

She knew. And Pris knew she knew.

And Cleo wasn’t sure if they were the same, or if they were different, or if she cared, or why she cared.

It was dangerous, it was. They say time flows like a river—fast and deadly and disorienting. Cleo knew she was. Cleo also knew that Pris—the Water Witch—she—was the same. But it drew her in anyway, the sweet words alluring despite being false, and the hand soft despite ready to stab her in the back.

If she had to be honest, that made it more tempting.

The Water Witch showed up more often, now. She never left without a threat, of course, but Cleo could see her in the corner of her vision, watching her. Cleo wondered if she thought of Cleo the same way Cleo thought of her.

Cleo liked the Water Witch. She was intriguing. Perhaps one day this aspect would make her dislike the Water Witch, but for now, it was just that.

Arven.............. he is my son now. That whole last stretch of the story in area zero really REALLY solidified him as my favourite of the main cast because man he's been through a lot and this guy can't catch a fucking break!!! Had to go years without seeing his parents only to find out that the one parent he remembers and saw only very occasionally as a kid died years prior to the game's events protecting the mirai/koraidon you've been traveling with all this time. And the whole thing about Mabosstiff!!! The titan questline had me tearing up on several occasions. im AUGh.... I'm so SO weak for characters like this who appear a bit standoffish at first but then open up to the player and they're just beans that have gone through a lot and are trying to help. And his own resolution to become a chef with the knowledge he now holds over the herba mystica to help others felt like the most logical course of action for him to take so i'm glad he found what he wants to strive for next!! anyways sorry not sorry if i end up drawing him a lot LMAO he lives in my brain rent free. son boy allowed

Then there's Nemona!!! She's so fucking head empty no thoughts and I love her. And if there's something in that head of hers it's just a brick with the only thought being violence and battle. And you know what? good for her! good for her. She's really funny and probably one of the most fun rivals we've had in recent history for pokemon. I like that she's not just super talented either, she literally explains to the trainer when you talk to her in postgame that she had to work hard to even get to this point. She really feels like a mirror to the player but she just took her journey of becoming a champion a year or two earlier than the player did. But also wow same lady ur just like me fr fr

Penny!! she's just a bean that cares for her friends!!! And the team Star story stuff really felt nicely done. Trying to help her friends that were painted as bullies because of a misunderstanding and mismanagement at the school while the team Star members aren't bad people at all. I also absolutely love her sass when traveling with her in Area Zero (and subsequently the dynamic between Penny, Nemona and Arven as a whole, they're best friends now your honor)

I genuinely was not expecting that but hearing the hardbass i was like wtf holy shit they went OFF with this track!!! The track is an absolute banger too but definitely felt unexpected for a character like Penny. Good for her though!! She's got one of the best themes in the game and im jamming

And then Turo! I played Violet but I'm aware that the same thing happens with Sada in Scarlet so it's easy to just replace names. Man... I could talk about this part of the story all fucking day. The professor is probably one of the most interesting "villains" in Pokémon as a whole and I'm SO GLAD that the series finally went down this route, because they absolutely nailed the story telling with this. Area Zero blew me out of the fucking water and was so unexpected!!! This whole segment has "REJUVENATION" written all over it!!! I was literally WAITING for Jan to get to this segment after completing the game, only for him to say the same exact shit LOL. I was not expecting this from a main series Pokémon game at ALL and frankly I'm so glad it did because this whole story segment with made Violet easily one of my favourite pokemon games in the series.

AI Turo stimulating the player from the background to find the herba mystica with arven and them becoming stronger but not really wanting to talk to Arven because-- just like his original counterpart-- he's too focused on the goal of the mission to care for the son of his original counterpart (though him being an AI also might hinder processing emotional attachment even MORE than the original Turo already had problems with). The reason why Turo hasn't visited Arven in years being that the original is dead and AI Turo literally cannot leave the crater due to him needing the power of the Tera crystals to stay functional. AI Turo, despite being the same in almost every possible way, realizing and coming to agree that there's no logic in the original Turo's decision to want to introduce future Pokémon into the ecosystem KNOWING that it'd destroy the old one, making him a better person than the original was-- and painting the original Turo as the villain in this situation due to that his obsession with the future as written in the Violet book drove him to ignore how wrong he was for what he was trying to do, even after death. AI Turo knowing that he himself is part of the security system and needs to be fought in order to put a stop to the time machine, hence why he stimulated the player to keep training and taking care of Miraidon. AI Turo realizing that he needed to go in order to put a total stop to the time machine because his very existence is keeping it active. He says "I want to see the future" and leaves the present day in order to stop the time machine, but there's some deeper implications here; in practice this is AI Turo taking a massive risk by sacrificing himself to save Paldea because on the chance he ends up outside of the crater, he'll cease functioning and will practically die. And you know? The revelation that he's an AI powered robot actually makes total sense if you paid attention to his animations and speech mannerisms; he's the only character that doesn't have a breathing animation (it's not even there in the first video transmission you see of him! and it's the same for Sada in Scarlet) and is constantly identifying the player & friends through student ID's and biometrics rather than acknowledging them as actual people. BUT ALSO THAT BATTLE WAS SO FUCKING COOL!! Genuinely challenging too since you had to figure out his mons' typings on the fly, AND HE'S GOT A BANGER BATTLE THEME. Toby Fox you've done it again you madman

honorable mention goes to Clavell and Grusha, the former because Clavell is fucking funny as hell and I'm so glad he ended up being more involved in the story than I expected. Sir you're a little behind with the times AND YOU ASKED ME WHAT CHEUGY MEANS WHICH KILLED ME but you're all the funnier for it. thank you. Grusha gets the mention because he caught me off guard by having the highest leveled gym team out of any of the gym leaders with having mons at level 47 while I strolled up with my mid-30's team and got my ass blasted. thank you sir. i will now never make the mistake of thinking you're a lower tier gym leader just because TPC advertised you early. good god

All that being said, I could go on about every other character but these really were the ones that stuck out the most in my mind. i have so many thoughts about this game and i swear the brainrot's going to be around for a LONG ASS TIME

So many lore thoughts aaahhhh

The sheer potential of a DC × MARVEL × DP × MLB crossover makes me giddy. Their lore individually is so much fun to play with, but together? Vibrating in place at the thought.

For example, the Lazarus Pits.

Quick explanation of Ra's al Ghul in DC (from what I remember so take it with a grain of salt): being interested in science, he becomes a healer. He is ordered to heal the Sultan's son. He finds the Lazarus Pits and heals the Sultan's son, but his wife (Sora) is killed anyways. He overthrows the sultan and becomes the demon head, using the Lazarus Pits as he pleases.

Now, in most DC × MLB crossovers the Lazarus Pits form because of a wish.

In most DC × DP crossovers, the Lazarus Pits are just contaminated ectoplasm.

But hear me out.... its so much fun as both.

Ra's al Ghul is getting desperate, there isn't a science formula he can find that will heal the prince. Noticing his determination, a young monk who was victim to bandits lends him a magic jewel, the ox miraculous. As long as he helps the monk with his thief problem, he can use the ox miraculous during his more dangerous experiments. Al Ghul is running out of time when he finally finds the last two jewels, in two different very hard to get to places. He finally gets the jewels back for the monk, but the monk wants the ox back too. He isnt having it, using the jewels, Ra's al Ghul makes a wish. A wish for a substance that heals almost anything.

Slight problem, the substance bursts from a hole punched through the literal earth and does not belong on the surface. The wish demands balance, every time the Pits are used, it draws ectoplasm from the Ghost Zone. Sora still dies and Ra's al Ghul still overthrows the Sultan, but now the "Demon's Head" holds more weight as he literally had horns like a demon when transformed, oh yeah and the crack? It grows. Lazarus Pits pop up everywhere and the more the used, the sicker the Ghost Zone and its inhabitants get.

I got another one for you: Atlantis, this one makes me internally squeal a little.

Marvel: There is alot to expand upon here, but the parts I'll focus on is that, when still above water it was a place of barbarism and constant war, and was sunk by the Deviants.

DC: Again, a lot to unpack, but with a nice side of DC-can't-make-up-it's-mind. In general, Atlantis was very advanced in both magic and tech before sinking and reasons for sinking vary a lot based on the version(?) Idk im not awake enough to do a deep dive into their lore again. Atlantis and its empire splintered into seven(?) successor kingdoms. (Not including some outliers in their multiple Earth chaos)

All MLB gives us is that Plagg (black cat miraculous) had some part in it sinking.

But how I picture it:

A crazy person was trying to take over Atlantis. He had somehow gotten his hands on the black cat miraculous and was brutal, entire villages wiped out without hesitation. He slowly builds power. It's an age of barbarism and brutality. A few clans and kingdoms of Atlantis band together and form a more advanced civilization, thats still riddled with some power struggles. Atlantis is split in two, barbarism vs advancement. At on point Plagg gets free, and in an attempt to help and maybe steal some cheese he uses cataclysm. His cataclysm disrupts the tectonic plates Atlantis sits on. Years pass with Atlantis teetering over the edge, when it all comes to head one day. The technologically advanced Atlantis was having problems with their tech that made the unstable plates worse. Meanwhile, the barbaric Atlantis was being attacked by Deviants. The crazy person from before though? Didn't care. He had been looking for the Ladybug miraculous to make a wish and had finally found it. Unfortunately for him, he died before he could make the wish. Fortunately for the rest of Atlantis, Nooroo takes pity on them and transforms all people of Atlantis into varying degrees of fish people. Some relied soley on tech that Nooroo had transformed, while other had blue skin and webbed feet. Atlantis does split into many kingdoms, but now there are two kingdoms fighting for the right to be Atlantis. Centuries of stealing from one another and fighting has made it unclear which one is technically the original, but throughout all the ocean the people of the sea curse and cower from the name of Plagg.

But yeah..... I'm to tired to continue my ramble. But the point is so much Lore Potential.

hello!! im wondering if you have any advice regarding this, feel free to ignore. im so deep into the closet (lesbian) that at this point i feel suffocated mostly because of the scenarios i keep creating in my head when i think of coming out especially to my best friend. I gave her zero reasons for her to think im nothing other than straight so shattering that perception of me is scary. since we talk abt boys, well her i just listen and when i talk abt my thoughts on dating is very vague i feel like such a two faced person, lying to her face ya know? and these little scenarios i create in my head are the worst cause id imagine she wont believe me. thinking this way of her is not fair because is all in my head... im 27 btw

i hate the process of coming out and the like forced vulnerability and i also stayed in the closet to a lot of the straight people in my life for ages (and have no plans to come out to any of my extended family). i never really 'come out' to anyone, I just mention my girlfriend or like say whatever it is i want to say without a preamble. i think this forced sit-down thing that feels like an intervention is not for everyone, and honestly I find it dehumanising. maybe in some situations you decide it will produce the results you want, but it's not essential.

when you talk about shattering her perception of you, i wonder if part of the problem is the inherent discomfort of recognising that everyone creates their own idea of us in their heads that we can't control. It's just that coming out forced you to confront that in a way most cishet people might never have to. it's possible to be proud of being gay and happy with yourself and be anxious about what that might mean for the pictures others create. this is true of most -isms: you can reject the stereotypes for yourself and still recognise that other people might project them on you anyway, and no amout of self-love stops them from doing it.

i know it's hard to hear when you're in the situation, but it's important to confront whether a relationship in which you can't be yourself at all is something you really need. and sometimes it is - I don't need to have emotional intimacy about my dating life with my grandma, so I don't plan to either cut her off or come out to her, though I do keep her at a distance for my peace of mind. this isn't to say that i think your friend is going to reject you - i assume you've been friends a long time and must have some meaningful ties keeping you together despite all this + people are generally better than we think they are. but i do think the only way you're going to be able to do it is by accepting that whatever happens will be the right thing: lets say she flies into a homophobic rage, don't you want to know that about her? do you want to maintain a friendship where the only thing stopping that is you hiding yourself? you don't need to freak yourself imagining worst-case scenarios, you just need to draw a boundary for yourself that you aren't going to spend time in close relationships protecting other people's image of you.

it sounds like you mostly just want to not have to lie to her, so who cares if she doesn't believe you? instead of framing this as about her, and therefore reliant on her reaction, imagine it as being about your need to speak freely about your dating life (or whatever else you want from this), and then you won't be as worried about how she takes it (which you can't control) and more about how it feels for you (which you can). you can just say 'I'm not really interested in dating boys' and now youre free from the obligation to pretend, however she takes that. if you want to talk about girls, talk about them. if she has more questions, it's her responsibility to ask or keep them to herself. we take so much responsibility on trying to make our coming-outs easy for other people and forget abt ourselves!

Ahem, so, i disappeared off the face of the earth for two an a half years? Ish? Anyways i’m back now. So, here’s my re-introduction post for anyone who’s still here somehow, or for anyone new!

So, to the basics…Hi! I’m buggy, though you can call me pretty much anything you want, i don’t really care. This blog will be used for whatever shit posting i happen to partake in, but also other, more interesting, things! Moving on…I mostly use they/she pronouns, but once again, i dont really care. I’m super fucking gay and i like to draw. I’m also the most inconsistent person ever, so never trust if i say ill finish anything. Ever.

Anyways… I refuse to give details like where i live/ my age (this is the internet, ya’ll) but i will say that i speak english & french, i’m autistic and I’m studying biology and english. (How are those two related, you may ask? great question, no idea lmao)

Alr, now onto the fun stuff…

I write! (And draw) Lmao, inconsistently asf, but, yk… i both do it as a fun past time/hobby and as a personal outlet, in my very sparse free time, but if you have any reqs for or something, here’s my « rules » :

1. My content will be sapphic/queer- centric things.

2. I’ll write smut, (lemon),fluff, angst, xreader, x oc,etc etc. (I’ll only do smut for wlw/wlnb-g!p is fine though)

3. More on the topic of that, yes, i will indulge in some kinky shit- UNLESS!! Unless, it’s something i personally deem… either morally questionable or if it makes me uncomfortable (ex. Student/teacher or anything underaged, non-con, etc.) but you can always ask- i just wont write it if im uncomfy

4. I will also write for pretty much anyone! Just ask- as long as i’ve heard of the character i’ll try to do it (a few characters/ ships i enjoy writing for: any of Gwendoline christie’s characters, any of Charlize theron’s characters, any of Sarah paulson’s characters, emily prentiss (cm), willow (btvs), supercorp, villaneve (love them), avalance and loads more but ill stop now lol)
