4. Did you discover any new authors that you love this year?

not sure i can claim to love an author if i've only read one book of theirs, but i definitely want to check out more books by jen beagin (big swiss was fun! a rec for anyone who likes weird female characters with morally questionable actions but a sense of humor) and i want to keep reading elena ferrante's neapolitan novels. i also very much enjoyed donald knuth's texbook (i swear it's fun), so much so i almost considered starting his art of computer programming series but. who has the time.

no, pretty much my usual fare: general/literary/speculative/historical fiction and some non-fiction

14. What books do you want to finish before the year is over?

i can should must and WILL finish war and peace. i am almost done with book three (of four)

Hey! I recently started reading Yellowjackets fic. Ive been in a Clexa chokehold for years haha

I decided to look for a Yellowjackets discord server, I found a promising one… and their rules stated an age cap of 30 👀 which really put me off… mostly because I’m 33 🤣

Do you know of any great discord servers, or Yellowjacket writers/artists/fan blogs to follow? I’m trying to get deeper into this fandom.

I was a bit nervous starting this appreciation week, since this was the first time I've ever hosted one of these, but I was absolutely blown away by the response, and the talent that this fandom has. It was so much fun seeing everybody's creations, and the creative ways some of the prompts were interpreted. The love and adoration for the source material just poured out, and I loved every minute of it.
