Tears for Fears
When Audrey had told the helpful ghost trainer, “be there soon,” she’d certainly meant it. Having posted that message just outside the town, she had since arrived to the Pokemon Center and healed up her tired team.
“Alright, little ones,” Audrey spoke to the four Pokeballs in her hands, “we’re here. Now that you’re all happy and healthy, we’re going to meet someone new, okay? We won’t be battling her, just meeting her nice ghost Pokemon.”
The tall redhead swallowed thickly and stood up, placing the Pokeballs back on her belt.
“Nice ghost types,” she repeated quietly to herself.
They would be nice. This would help her conquer her fear. They would be okay...
Taking a deep breath to steel herself and managing a friendly smile, she entered the shop Nurse Joy had directed her towards.
“Jess?” the woman called out, looking around.

“Hello, world! My name is Audrey and I just got my very first Pokemon!“
“Snub?”
“That’s right, Poppy! You’re my first Pokemon and that makes you super duper extra special!”
“Snubbull~”
"Yes, you are~ Anyway, welcome to my new blog! If you have any questions about Poppy or me or want to give me advice or whatever you want, just let me know!”

Snowflakes lazily drifted down from the cloudy morning sky, painting the previously dirtied snow in a fresh coat of white.
It really was a calm peaceful sight, particularly when not having to endure the freezing cold.
No, no. This view was being enjoyed from the heated interior of Audrey's car, accompanied by the soft jingle of Christmas songs coming from her car's speakers.
The holiday may have passed, but the young woman was still in the festive spirit. It was difficult to let such feelings go when one of the Christmas guests was still with her!
Young Sydney sat safely in the backseat as they made their way back from the airport where they'd parted ways with the other Malones.
Audrey's eyes flicked to the rear view mirror momentarily to see if Syd was awake.
