Summary: When Draco had started The Malfoy Fix, he'd expected plenty of fashion-disaster(s) clients and had figured having an open-door policy was good for business. Although, catering to celebrity-Aurors Harry Potter and Ron Weasley was not on the agenda.

Dressing up Potter and Weasley was more humorous than Draco had initially thought. It was also just as nerve-racking. It was true that initially, Weasley had been the one who was more than willing to pick fights with Draco; he was also the one who now actually listened to Draco, trying on whatever outfit Draco would pick out. Potter, on the other hand, questioned everything. "Why does he get the dark blue? I like dark blue." He always wanted to try whatever Weasley was trying and would give clothes selected for him to Weasley. "Purple's not really my colour." "It's not his size." "I'll spell it to fit over Ron's body." At that, Weasley had smirked. What was even worse was that they never left the room to go and change. They didn't even turn around or wait for Draco to turn around. For days, Draco had to endure Potter and Weasley getting naked in front of each other, their playful flirting, finding reasons to touch each other, and on the final day, Draco had to even break off the pseudo-wrestling match they'd initiated on the sofa because Weasley wanted to wear a silk scarf Draco had picked out for Potter. It was ridiculous. It was too much for Draco to handle, and he'd been right, there hadn't been enough Galleons in the world for Draco to endure all of this and come out unscathed. He was also absolutely, utterly jealous.

This would all be very simple, except that finding a food rancid enough to impress a ghost is no easy task, especially not when you have Draco Malfoy and his interest in an Authentic Muggle Experience getting involved.

Harry is cooking food he couldn’t care less about; Draco is making art he couldn’t care more about.

A story about kebabs, miniskirts and the way preservation can transform a lemon.

Many years after the Dark Lord killed the last King and took the throne, a young orphan joins the Order.

Harry hopes that they will teach him how to help those their new King deemed unworthy: the Regulars. Those people who worked hard for their food yet had to hand over most of their harvest to fill the already overflowing warehouses of the Capital.

With the help of the Order and an unexpected ally Harry is ready to right the wrongs.

After the war, Draco Malfoy had a plan to redeem his family name. He donated most of his family’s money, started a luxury blind dating service with Pansy, and intended to marry one of the Greengrass sisters.

Dating Harry Potter certainly was not part of the plan.

But, one dinner might change this.

While on their honeymoon in Italy, Draco and Harry try their hands feet at grape-stomping.

Harry lives in Havana and loves making batidos from all his favorite fruits. He doesn’t have a job and plans to wile away his life in his own little plot of paradise. Draco, released from Azkaban on probation, is set with the unwieldy task to convince Harry to come home. He has to go right back to prison if he fails, but he has been cursed to keep all of that from Harry.

When Pansy leaves to make a Grand Tour across Europe, Draco almost goes with her. But in the end, he stays and is stuck at Grimmauld Place with his roommate, Potter. And they’re doing perfectly fine together: Harry cooks, Draco takes care of the rest, and they exchange the perfect amount of words with each other. Until Pansy gets the idea that they need a teambuilding activity and starts sending recipes to cook together.

Mandy Thorne thought it’d be a nice, relaxing year, backpacking through the Australian outback.

She didn’t expect to run into two war heroes in a pub.

Harry was sent on a journey to discover himself by his ex-wife. He doesn’t know what else he has to discover, after finding out he’s gay and having to tell his wife and his children about it. Maybe what he’s supposed to do with his life now that he’s quit the aurors?

He’s in Antwerp when he stumbles upon a small high-end patisserie-chocolaterie. What he finds there exceeds all expectations.

Harry and Draco are both younger, lower-level Ministry employees. They have a lovely arrangement going between them but then suddenly the Minister has urgent need of a diplomat and Draco is sent abroad on a mission.

Draco, in an effort to combat the stress of constant travel and with the added benefit of teasing Potter from a'far, revives an old hobby: the making of a confection modelled vaguely after Bott’s Beans. He calls them ‘Barelys’.

Everyone else, however, calls them 'courting’. Excepting Harry, naturally, who was raised Muggle.

Draco’s life is practically perfect. Every day he follows the same routines, wears the right clothes and sees the same friends. His books balance. His chocolate factory is successful. Life is good.

It’s predictable. Controllable.

If only there wasn’t Potter with his stupid just-shagged hair, his flirty comments and his habit of making Draco say the first thing that pops into his brain, and—did he hear that right?—request for edible sex toys.

Platonic soulmarks show up on the top of the right wrist, romantic on the left. Rivals, nemisis, etc. soulmarks show up under the wrist. Multiple soulmates are possible due to polyamory or death. When your soulmate dies it fades to a light grey scar, but if you are lucky enough to have another soulmate the new soulmark overwrites the old one, however, the scar tissue remains. If your Platonic and Romantic soulmate happen to be the same person(s) the mark will constantly circle their wrist.

One day in the fall after graduating their eighth year at Hogwarts, Hermione wakes up to a new romantic soulmark, and even though it is not who she expected, she definitely doesn't mind. She had always admired the twins for their daring and smarts when it came to their inventions and they were glad that she was always able to tell them apart.

"Where?" Draco asked, unsure of what to make of this news. Where was Potter going and why was he telling Draco?

They'd come into Muggle London for shopping and Potter said he'd wanted Draco's help to buy Teddy a present.

"Auror training. Maybe for a year."

"A year?" Draco asked, unable to hide the shock from his voice.

"Good to know you cared, Malfoy."

Draco didn't reply. What could he say? They were... nothing. He didn't even know if they were friends, to Potter.

Husband.

Whenever a person recognised Draco for the man he was, a brilliant flare of exultation bubbled inside him.

Draco felt it when his assistants called him Mr Malfoy. Draco felt it when Madam Malkin called him Sir. Teddy telling Draco he was the cleverest wizard in London made him glow. Every he and every him sparked a deep jolt of pride.

Nevertheless, if Draco were really pushed, he’d have to make a confession.

The finest, most euphoric feeling of all arose whenever Harry smiled, and brought up Draco’s hand to kiss his wedding ring. 

Husband was engraved deep into the gold, but even more deeply into Draco’s soul.

Far Too Handsome.

Draco watched his husband from across their bed. Merlin, but a herd of pillaging hippogriffs wouldn’t rouse him. 

Harry's hair, after a night's sleep, was unruly and stuck out in every direction. His face squashed into the pillow, mouth hanging open ever-so-slightly. The tiniest spot of drool had leaked from the corner of his mouth onto his stubbly chin.

Snoring gently, Harry's chest rose and fell inside a faded Sleekeazy’s tee-shirt that had seen better days.

One green eye flickered open. “Can’t sleep with you staring,” Harry smiled.

“You’re far too handsome for me to avert my eyes,” Draco countered.

Two Lists, As Requested By My Mind Healer.

List of things that I, Draco Lucius Malfoy, enjoy:

~ Earl grey tea. Freshly brewed leaves only, and not too stewed. Please, not those ludicrous Muggle teabags.

~ The scent of freshly starched shirts and how the collars feel against my skin.

~ Being prepared. Fail to prepare, prepare to fail (and other such clichés my governess imparted onto me.)

~ The Arrows being top of the Quidditch League and the look on Weasley’s face when reminded of this very pertinent fact.

~ Cracking the spine on a new paperback. Pansy calls this habit cretinous, but personally I’d rather my books looked like they’d been read.

~ Mum’s expression, just before she’s about to tell me a particularly scandalous piece of gossip.

~ Riding my Firebolt. That first kick away from the earth. I’ve been flying since I was six, and it still gets me every single time.

~ Dancing. In a nightclub with sickly cocktails, loosening my inhibitions, or at one of Mum’s evening soirées. It doesn’t matter. I simply adore the feeling of being lost inside the music.

~ Petting my Kneazle, Felicity. Categorically, the most beautiful girl in the world, and I won’t be persuaded otherwise.

~ Sex. An entry that rather speaks for itself.

~ Getting up early and running though London before the rest of the world has woken up.

~ Magic. Yes, perhaps a bit of a prosaic answer for a wizard, but there we are. I love the feeling of magic pulsing through my blood, love the gasp of breath you pull into your lungs the moment you cast a spell. It’s as important a part of me as my beating heart.

List of things that I, Draco Lucius Malfoy, detest:

~ Making lists.

~ Father’s letters from Azkaban. They put me in a dark place for days afterwards. When I burn them, I feel guilty, and when I keep them, I dwell on them. They make me feel like the worst version of myself.

~ Not exercising. Usually occurs in combination with the point made above.

~ Migraines. Nothing much helps when one arrives. I’ve tried the most renowned potions and even Muggle pills. Nothing shifts them.

~ The Prophet. Their vile excuse for journalism is the biggest joke in the magical world.

~ The slow pace of magical law making. Merlin’s bloody beard! It shouldn’t take three years for legislation to be discussed and voted on.

~ Whenever the Arrows lose to the Canons. Weasley always pulls that ruddy smirk of his.

~ The food in the Ministry canteen. Bloody hell, but it's dreadful. You could resole your boots with a slice of their Treacle Tart.

~ Tepid mugs of tea. Disgusting. They never taste right after casting a re-warming charm.

~ Wearing long sleeves on hot days.

~ Howlers.

~ I hate the way that Harry Potter glances in my direction. He does it all the time. He thinks that I don’t notice, but I do. Potter thinks he understands me, and that he’s got me all figured out. He’s wrong. I’m more than just the smart cut of my robes and my charm-tidied hair. I’m more than my childhood and the lies that I listened to because I didn’t know any better.

I’m not foolish. I know how I must appear to Potter. He believes me to be polished elegance skating over the dirt, rubbish and tattoo ink beneath. We talk sometimes, Potter and I. We swap small pleasantries, and I hear the hesitation in his voice. I hear him waiting for me to be cruel.

Part of me wants to tell Potter that I don't care, that it doesn't matter to me that I'm no longer any of his business.

Except, sometimes, occasionally, I see his bright twist of smile or I catch the tail end of his green-eyed glimpses.
