Hayber kaleleri sağlam, yüksek bir yerdeydi. Ok atsan sana geri dönüyordu. Taş atsan yetişmiyordu. Bağırsan sesin yetişmezdi. Hayber yıkılmıyordu. Hayber fethedilmiyordu.

Günlerce bekledi İslâm ordusu. Ama Yahudiler kalelerden çıkmıyordu. Müslümanların stoğu tükenmek üzere, moralleri bitmek üzereydi. Günlerce beklediler. Ama nafile!

Bu uzun bekleyişten sonra Peygamber Efendimiz bir strateji geliştirdi. Hurma ağaçları kesilecekti. Hayber Yahudilerinin ekonomisi birer birer kesilecekti. Servetleri devrilecekti. Gelecekleri köklerinden kazınacaktı. Zira Yahudi için para, servet, zenginlik herşeydi.

Ağaçlar kesildikçe Yahudiler kahroluyordu. Ağaçlar kesildikten sonra burada kalmanın da bir anlamı kalmayacaktı.

Anlaşma yoluna gittiler ve taşıyabilecekleri kadar yükle Yahudilerin başkenti Hayberi terk edeceklerdi.

🔗The incident that our Prophet (pbuh) had with someone who wanted to beg:

A poor Muslim from Medina asked our Prophet for something to eat.

Our Prophet asked him if there was anything in his house.

The man said:

"There is nothing in the house but a rug and a water bowl."

Our Prophet asked for them to be brought immediately.

When the man brought it, the Messenger of Allah asked those around him:

"Is there anyone who wants to buy these?" asked.

One of the companions said:

"I will buy it for one dirham."

The Prophet said that he would sell it to the person who gave more.

When another companion gave him two dirhams, he sold him the rug and the water container.

After giving the money to the poor companion, he said, "Buy food for your family with one lira, buy an ax with the other and bring it to me!" commands.

Our Prophet attaches a handle to the ax that the man brought with his own blessed hand and says:

“Go now; cut wood with it and sell it.

Work for fifteen days;

Then come to me!”

The man who came to our Prophet after fifteen days earned ten dirhams and bought clothes and food for himself and his family with this money.

Our Prophet, who was very happy with this situation, said to the man:

"This is better for you than begging being seen as a blemish on your face on the Day of Judgment."

🔗Peygamber Efendimiz’in (s.a.v), dilenmek isteyen biriyle yaşadığı hadise:

Medineli fakir bir Müslüman, Peygamberimiz’den yiyecek bir şeyler istedi.

Peygamberimiz, O’na evinde bir şey olup olmadığını sordu.

Adam:

“Evde bir kilim ve su kabından başka bir şey yok” dedi.

Peygamber Efendimiz onları hemen getirilmesini istedi.

Adam getirince Allah Rasulü yanındakilere:

“Bunları satın almak isteyen var mı?” diye sordu.

Sahabilerden biri:

“Ben bir dirheme alırım” dedi.

Peygamber Efendimiz, daha fazla veren kişiye satacağını söyledi.

Bir diğer sahabe iki dirhem verince, kilim ve su kabını ona sattı.

Parayı fakir sahabiye verdikten sonra, “Bir lirasıyla ailene yiyecek al, ötekiyle de bir balta satın al bana getir!” buyurur.

Adamın getirdiği baltaya, Efendimiz, kendi mübarek eliyle bir sap takar ve şöyle buyurur:

“Haydi şimdi git;

...bununla odun kes ve sat.

On beş gün çalış; ondan sonra yanıma gel!”.

On beş gün sonra Peygamberimizin yanına gelen adam, on dirhem kazanmış, bu parayla kendine ve ailesine elbise ve yiyecek almış olur.

Bu hale çok sevinen Efendimiz, adama şunları söyler:

“Dilenciliğin kıyamet günü yüzünde bir leke gibi görünmesinden böylesi senin için daha iyidir”

A Bionicle Advent Calendar: December 11th (Day 11)

The Prompt: Show one character reeling from an uncovered family secret and the other trying to support them in mildly concealed horror.

"Did you hear?" asked Balta, grabbing Garan by the shoulders, shaking him just a little. "Did you know?"

"What is the matter?" Garan gave himself a little space gently. Balta was shocked in a way the Onu-Matoran had not see him on Spherus Magna, had not seen him since the Piraka's rule on Voya Nui.

"Velika," said Balta, struggling to get the words out. "He's not a Matoran. He's... something."

"I haven't seen Velika in quite a while," said Garan. "If he's become a Toa--"

"Not a Toa,' interrupted Balta. "He's never been a Matoran. He's claiming to be a Great Being, to have meddled in our history constantly--to have made us as we are. And now he's the one causing all the trouble. Causing Marendar."

Garan shook his head.

"Velika?" he asked, confused. "Funny, cryptic, harmless Velika?"

"Not harmless," said Balta darkly. "Meddling."

"But, Velika..." and somehow it came to Garan right then. "He did lead us to form the Resistance."

"Well, he's not on our side now," said Balta. He tried to make Garan understand. "Marendar caught the Toa--our Toa, the Mahri. We don't know if there were any survivors."

"Velika..."
