Mazeka, Nuju and Ehrye. I know Mazeka never was on Mata Nui. The idea is that The Order send him to secretly check on the Metru Nui Matoran on Mata Nui. He was spotted when he got grabbed by Nui-Rama. He kills it, and falls straight into Ko-Koro.

I find it immensely satisfying and slightly hilarious that Velika, a great being, ostensibly snuck into the Great Spirit Robot/Matoran universe to manipulate it from within and just...

Literally went straight to hell. Not even joking. You cannot tell me that Velika intentionally landed himself in Karzahni, got his matoran body taken apart and shoddily rebuilt, and ended up with power tools for hands on purpose.

You cannot tell me that this guy spent 100,000 years on the barren mess that is the southern continent going "Ah yes, all according to plan."

An excellent scientist does not a good stratigest make.

I think it would be soooo fucking funny if Velika had a favorite MU being and that happened to be Kazi. Just a really powerful cosmic creature with incredibly inscrutable plans that no one can figure out who is also simply enamored by a singular red blood cell due to how viscerally said cell hates his stupid fucking sphinx ass riddles. Velika twirling his hair and giggling and kicking his feet and telling the other Great Beings how there's this silly little matoran he gave a consciousness to that hes faking abt not having a lil bit of a crush on (in the way the creator of an oc loves said oc) but he do <3 and the Great Beings look down and Kazi is there waving a fucking knife welded onto his arm and screaming at the clouds about how hes going to shank the shit out of Velika if he shows his stupid face to tell him another goddamn riddle again and the Great Beings turn to this disgrace of a peer they have and go why are you like this

You ever think about how we never got to know anything about Velika? I don't mean the Great Being who stole his body and called himself Velika, I mean the actual Po-Matoran Velika.

Of course there probably wasn't much to know. It was that Great Being's interference that was supposedly responsible for the inhabitants of the MU becoming sentient in the first place, so before being supplanted, Velika probably didn't have much personality to speak of, no more than any of the other Matoran drones. But he could have, y'know? That was an entire person who never got to live, who would have had his own life, his own experiences, his own personality if some self-important fascist scientist hadn't picked his face to steal. Like we know that in the Kingdom universe, where Velika was chosen by Takanuva to become a Toa, that Velika was his own person, the Great Being had picked someone else.

And we know almost nothing about him. All we know is that, in some universes, he existed, but in the prime reality, the only one we really got to explore, he never got the chance to.

Honestly there's a lot of comparasions I could make between Xenoblade and my other interests/fandoms (both Bionicle and non Bionicle related) but the absolutely funniest is how Zanza is basically just a fusion of Velika and Teridax.

Like he essentially is Velikas character concept/backstory mixed with Teridax's personality/motivations/goals and that's just extremely funny for me.

I kind of want a story where a matoran Vakama gets sent to Karzahni's realm on accident.

Hear me out. This is Vakama we're talking about. Maker of the Mask of Time, something only great beings should be able to do, Vakama.

Future Toa That Stared Teridax Down Until Teridax Blinked Vakama.

Vakama who rebuilt the entire population of Mata Nui, Vakama.

You know those jokes about the competent engineer that goes to hell on a clerical error and fixes everything wrong with it? That's the setup here.

Karzahni gets this motivated matoran that shouldn't be here and he just starts crafting masks and rebuilding matoran better than he can.

Karzahni starts "supervising" Vakama’s work but it's pretty clear that Vakama’s actually teaching him to actually do his job without horribly maiming anyone.

Eventually someone from Artahka goes "Your brother requests that you send over Vakama, clerical oversight you understand." and Karzahni is, understandably, thrilled & furious. He FINALLY has something his brother wants and can't have. (Does Vakama’s influence mean Karzahni doesn’t turn into a mad tyrant? maybe.)

In the meantime, Velika keeps staring at Vakama asking him about names he's never heard of, not knowing that Velika is CONVINCED that Vakama is secretly another great being with the exact same plan as him.
