I do feel like Obe and Dante's way of showing affection is different from each other bc of their roles as servant. Oberon's love is quiet and you have to read through the lines to understand that (which isn't all that hard to do for Guda) because of his nature as a servant. Someone who pretends, it's not that he has to act like he doesn't like them that's just his nature but he does love Guda a shit ton he is just unable to outwardly admit that loudly.

Meanwhile avengers are loud in their love. Their love burns and is the equivalent to tough love as we've seen w oc2 and date's event and interludes. He loves guda and it's for that reason he burns them in a sense, remind them that they're alive that they can still move. Unlike him. He'll burn worlds for them if he must, he'd do anything to help them achieve their goals even if it's murdering someone or ending worlds WHICH guda has never and will never want, which is why he burns the bridge that connects the two because the only way for them is forward. He'd burn himself for them too, an avenger's love is all encompassing and it will turn everything into ash.

And idk man I'm just emo ig I really wanted to see obe Dante interactions but wtvr... Huhuhuhuuu.....

i think its not necessarily a matter of loud and quiet. its more of how they convey it due to their nature as servants as avengers that are extra classes nearly impossible to summon , as pretenders with a lying curse.

both convey their love neither quietly nor loudly, but they convey it in ways for guda. just for guda. using their own methods that would fit them the most.

oberon's care is showing guda an "out" like you see on valentines day, his summer lines etc. but he supports them too. he gives guda advice like in Servafes 2.0 where they barged into their room to talk to them despite the dangers of morgan oblitering his spiritual core, they also talk to each other on an equal standing like you see with oberon approaching them during at the inn and at gloucester in lb6. being someone with fairy eyes along with a lying curse, he tends to be roundabout with his words to portray what he means because no matter what he says, the world will twist it so he has skirt around it like in valentines day, you could interpret what he said with "call me wiht a sigh when you run out of dependable allies and options" as perhaps something mocking and malicious when, knowing oberon's nature now past lb6, he truly is caring almost to the point of selflessness. because we see his care for castoria as well as the insects in the autumn forest, that would apply to guda to, where he has the right words to soothe their soul, casually tear that mask guda has been holding onto for so long and become just "Fujimaru Ritsuka" and not "Humanity's Last Master".

dantes, of course, as the greatest of all avengers, his natures stems that from his revenge story by dumas, dantes who is also real in the typemoon universe has dumas write his story as revenge for his enemies on making everyone forget about him. and the story became so popular around the world that his spirit origin is twisted into that of an Avenger, that sole excerpt of The Count of Monte Cristo without that happy ending written into his saint graph. still, "edmond dantes" is still there, beneath gankutsuou. he's a man who tasted happiness and love, who was thrown into the bowels of depths and despair, gone through hell itself and crawled his way back to the surface no matter how painful it got. an Avenger that is intimate with pain, with suffering the most, know love and compassion the most.

both dantes and oberon understand guda's journey and what they've been through. its just that their approach is different. being an Avenger, a class of bloody teeth and howls, of course he would wield his flames that would aid his accomplice. he's seen their determination. he's seen them bleed, get beaten up before rising back again to finish a battle once and for all. he's seen guda love. he's seen guda love mash, da vinci, dr. roman, their friends these Servants who are people made up of fragments/fragments made up of people. they chose not retribution and continued to love despite the pain of it all.

dantes saw guda as a bright, radiant star because of that. him saying you are "fire" would just feel like completely undermining everything guda is. (and a fire for an Avenger, is a different meaning altogether). so he likens you to a star. a soul so bright that could even conquer dark flames that threaten to consume you whole but you would ultimately win out in the end... because thats who you are. a person who doesnt give up, will never give up no matter how your heart is beaten and battered. dantes supports you in a way where he has your back and will fight for you in this path downwards to hell. for oberon though, he's the abyssal insect. the one that ended fairy britain and as all things will inevitably end, like i said, he offered guda to go down the abyss with them should their heart finally give up once and for all. he'll be there by their deathbed to see it through. (i wanna add more about oberon with the shining star and titania but i can add stuff next time if i make a post like this.

that said, ive been thinking of dantes and oberon interactions too. but i do imagine either dantes would test oberon first before coming with him and abby to guda's trash heap or maybe exchange some words about guda, and probably gets convinced by oberon www

For me personally I’m expecting that the reveal is going to be that the Priestess is the Olga of FGO and the one who is actually a Beast, and the U-Olga we see is the version of her from that future who responded to her cries for help when being experimented on, and ended up her puppet.

It's possible, though U Olga said she came to answer the wails of the earth/planet or something like that. Guda sees U-Olga as Fuyuki's Olga too and this chapter has them refuse to call the Chaldean Romani. I do think is a BB-Nurse Sakura deal, and was foreshadowed in that crossover manga.

Honestly, idk if you followed me years ago, but my denial of U-Olga was Beast VII was big and I theorized she actually isn't the Beast (horns aside...messing up my theory) but she has that saint graph as an extension of the real Beast. Like the pillar demons. Sure, in the Temple, they had normal classes but that was likely due to farming raid purposes. In the Singularities when we encountered them, they had "Unknown" and while they didn't have a Beast icon (because IMO would spoil the reveal), they had the same values as Beast I (in strength/weakness). Now the manifestation of Beast VII Saint Graph was detected and everyone, including U Olga herself, assumed that was hers, but what if she isn't?

We still don't know what this means. But there's no "Beast" number despite being detected before, and says unknown like the demon gods (which would have probably got the same icon if wasn't for reveal purposes, Imo). Juvenile Beasts like Kama, Kiara, and Draco get their numbers and dot. Koyan was a Juvenile Beast and one which was wishy-washy to manifest truly, so her icon in Olympus before she forced herself into her Sanctuary was empty and Unknown too.

It's possible she was previously falling out Beasthood too, off-screen. We still have a mysterious connection with Grand Berserker (to who she panics and says he killed her) and this claim she made she defeated seven Grand Servants.

Some people ship Gilgamesh with Nero. How do you think Arturia would react to this?

I don't think she would be particularly affected at first sight, but as she and Nero are so much alike... I think she might think about it in spite of herself and get confused at some point.

There are a number of ways to interpret this but based on your ask I think it’s from an established relationship!GilArt, yeah? :)

Something Arturia learned after the long long journey she had to get through to get to a point that wasn’t antagonistic with Gil is that: he doesn’t lie to her, ever. Not as anything poetic, nor a romantic oath, but deception is simply beneath him.

If she ever did doubt, she’d mull it over for a while, at least until Gil notices and points it out. That’s when she asks him.

“Your affections for me, do they still stand?”

And she’d know whatever he answered is his truth.

She’d probably be satisfied with just that answer, but in case Gil’s curiosity wins out and he asks what prompted the question, well. He’d admonish her for letting the “mongrels’” words get to her, then reinforce in her mind that his love is beyond physical, and that she should already know that. (Besides, she and Nero may have similar features, but everything else is quite different.) He’d probably even take personal offense that she doubted at all, get a bit angry, but by the next day he’d be finding new ways to express his feelings so she’d never doubt again. Arturia would do the same, a bit more discreetly though.

its weird to say about an event prominently featuring two sakurafaces but i… didn’t really enjoy Ooku that much? i feel like while Nasu might have kept Minase from making it the gross clusterfuck that agartha and the prillya event were, Minase still managed to drag down the quality of the overall writing. The dungeon exploration stuff was a fun format, Kasuga was a good character, and i liked how Kama was written to talk in a very casual and cynical way that you wouldn’t expect of a deity, but the overall character writing was mediocre. 

heres a few thoughts:

The conservative tokugawa propaganda in this event was really weird. All these shogun’s who wielded absolute power over their citizens were either well meaning noble rulers or sad victims of the evil kama. The dude who slaughtered all of Amakusa’s people, including children, is painted as this wise noble guy who we should feel bad for bc oh he only betrayed the tokugawa so he could save them, a very obvious predictable twist. It’s really weird that after multiple fate installments making Amakusa sympathetic, they decided to do an event portraying the war criminal who mass murdered his people as a hero. 

What was the point of Parvati in this event? she didn’t do anything, and even tho Kasuga was a decent addition to the story, having her around essentially meant Parvati’s screentime was cut in half. When Parvati came out in NA, her trial quest ends with her saying that the reason she answered guda’s summon is bc she’s on a quest to save the world. She says it like she has her own personal indian pantheon thing going on she needs to resolve, and i assumed she meant Kama. Nope. She had no idea Kama was up to anything, she makes no attempt to reach out to them or patch things up with them and just blasts them away again. And to add insult to injury Parvati being in this event means we wont have her in LB4, where she could actually do stuff in her homeland. What a waste.

What was the point of Kiara in this event? Based on how Ooku tries so, so hard to parallel the CCC event, you’d think that someone would take the role of meltrilys, the main heroine who bonds with guda during the story. You’d expect it be either Parvati or Kiara based on how things start out. But Kiara just. doesnt do anything? She spends all her screentime doing normal loyal servant stuff while chuckling to herself every time someone calls her a good person. Occasionally she’s horny on main but no one really comments on it. She never opens up to Guda or bonds with them or one of the other group members. Just hangs around until she’s like welp, time to sacrifice myself. like her writing was decent enough i guess, but i think anyone who was given the task “write Kiara as an ally to the protagonist” could have come up with this. It doesn’t bring anything new to the table for her. 

Others have already said how Kama’s ending is disappointing, how just incinerating them again feels weird and wrong. But its also weird that we never really give any sort of philosophical rebuttal to Kama’s argument? She says all this stuff that amounts to “I’m going to erase love from the world because after being taken advantage of and used for so long i no longer believe in real bonds between people or that humans are capable of anything good.” and it kinda seems like we should prove her wrong? We should show her that humans aren’t all bad, that genuine love between people is possible? But instead we’re like “thats bad Kama, stop being bad.” and just kill her bc, idk, the CCC event ended with Kiara getting blown away so we gotta do the same for Kama i guess.

Give me your absolute best YGO x Fate headcanons

Ah gee since ya asked so nicely heres my convoluted crossover AU. Also this got hella long so I'll add a readmore

-the protags would all wind up at Chaldea due to being summoned by the godly powers within their own universes (Egyptian Gods, Crimson Dragon, etc.) and are tasked with helping them. Yugi is pre Ceremonial Duel (for Atem), the rest are from post series

-Gudas just so used to all the weirdness surrounding them so they take it in stride. Holmes on the other hand is losing it because he fears they may have been some type of dimensional collapse. He freaks out further when some of the kids say "oh yeah that happens all the time". Da Vinci sets them up to assist Guda since they can use magic (at least half of them use magic and the other half literally fuse with duel monsters) without needing magic circuits (which interests her GREATLY) so she introduces them as a set of new masters to help.

-their decks are still with them but now instead of being confined to the game they can actually summon them as Familiars/Phantasmals, though they can only support a few at a time.

-most, if not all servants are suspicious of these new masters (guda is my favorite master i dont need another one), but its only initial waryness since these are actual kids like Guda and they default to Parent Mode. Theyre even more surprised to learn about the exploits within their own worlds.

Now onto some of the dynamics:

-Yugi would just be happy to meet all these heroes from history. He understands the seriousness of the situation and despite his initial kickback he'd be onboard to help. Atem would take this opportunity to ask around to see if any of these ancient heroes would know him (since pre ceremonial duel he'd know who he is from Mem World). The Pharaohs (Ozy, Nito, Cleo) would be surprised about a Pharoah they've never met before, and especially his divinity since he could summon three Egyptian Gods to aid him. He was from 3000 years in the past so Egypt was beginning in its decline, so such a modern (relatively) Pharoah holding such power would shock them, though in the end Ozymandias would still declare him one of his friends and theyd get along. Yugi would leave the Puzzle with the Pharoahs so they could speak while he went around meeting a bunch of the heroes. He'd love to play with some of the kids though he has earned his fair share of ire since the King of Games never loses on Game Night, Poker Night, or any other type of games. Yugi has more supportive abilities in his skillset for the ourposes of battle, while Atem can more freely use his shadow magic since he's being supplied.

-Judai is more nonplussed than anything. He was already wandering the world so for him this is just another checkpoint. He finds the ability to summon his monsters as familiars more convebiant than anything since he could already speak to them. Many of the magic users are particularly interested in his ability to talk to spirits since its a rare ability in general and usually limited to one type of phantasmal, not to mention empathetic abilities on their own are somewhat unheard of in Nasuverse. Yubel is a protective force around him and for combat training scenarios shes extremely hard to get around since her deflection ability, while hard to maintain when Yubel uses her final form, is pretty much on par with Lord Camelot in terms of defense. He's generally friendly but comes off as rude sometimes due to his general nonchalance. Gets along especially well with some of the more volatile servants like Berserkers and Avengers since his empathetic abilities are soothing to them.

-Yusei is cautious and guarded here. He has responsibilities in his own world he'd want to get back too, but doesn't have it in him to just leave. His D-Wheel somehow came along (Yuya shivers in the distance) with him, so Da Vinci did the only reasonable thing upon seeing a miniature perpetual motion machine and tried to impound it immediately for study. Yusei was happy to share his info and skills on Momentum and implementing it into Chaldeas energy systems, something that had Tesla and Edison proud since one so young was already (but only barely) supassing AC and DC. Holmes was also extremely interested in Clear Mind and the Crimson Dragin, since Yusei managed to consolidate his own concentration into pure evolutionary energy and may have accidentally interacted with an elder god in the process (kinda like Holmes). Yusei assures him the Crimson Dragon isn't evil and that its called Quetzalcoatl, which has Fate Quetz coming in and asking about herself, further complicating Yusei's confusion on the Crimson Dragon. For combat, he starts off supportive by swarming his field with low power monsters before suddenly summoning a more powerful one. With Over Top Clear Mind they become even more powerful and evolve on their own, so Stardust can become Shooting, but summoning Quasar is very dangerous since its extremely powerful but taxxing.

-Yuma is absolutely excited. Astral not so much. "Astral these are literal HEROES how can you not be excited!?" "Idk probably the part where they'll kill us if we take a wrong step?". Yuma loves to hang around servants like Drake, Shiki and Beowulf, and loves swapping stories of their adventures. Abigail heard about aliens and wonders if Yog Soghoth is an alien, but Yuma tells her that the Astrals and Barians are not like Yog Soggoth, even if Don Thousand as described kinda sounds like him. Astral can be seen since since Heroic Spirits are consolidations of magic while Astral was basically an energy being of the same type, and does float through the halls, occasionally scaring someone by mistake. He does get along with a mysterious woman in a kimono who seems to appear in the twilight hours, but he cant ever really remember her face. In combat Astral and Yuma can do their usual combination form which causes their Numbers to automatically Rank Up upon summoning, the higher the form the further they can rank.

-Yuya has it a bit rough at first. He just got out of a war and now he was being dragged into another? Thankfully he gets his bearings quickly but is still somewhat shaken. Some of the servants are wary around him because they can feel the distortion that exists within his soul, his three other versions, and the power that could trun him into the Supreme King once again still exists there even if Zarc has passed on. He gets along with Siegfried well enough, and they swap stories about how the expectations of others can lead you to ruin. The Alter Egos feel a kinship to him since he's also a consolidated personality rather than a full person, though he gets along best with the Celts. Cu, Scathach and Fergus all love to see his performances, but to them that just meant that they can put him through warrior training especially after they hear about the war he went through. Scathach insists that him running for his life while she chases is good training, while Cu agrees while running alongside him. In battle he uses his acrobatic prowess enhanced with a little bit of fortification/protection magic, and can summon all four of his dragons to help him. Since the other Yu Boys are stuck within Yuya, they occasionally trade places:

Yuto gets along with Archer and occasionally helps him out. Archer is sympathetic to the struggles he unerwent in his own world and makes sure to keep his spirits up while also trying to ignore the irony.Yugo and David have struck up a strange friendship since they both have the issue of mistaking people for their so. David sees Yugo talk about how even if his life was hard it was worth it for the people he loved and remembers his son fondly.Yuri is generally avoided since even after the merge he's still something of a wildcard, but he gets along well with Hans and Kiara of all people. Sometimes he'd share the stories of the training he underwent in Academia, how the Professor trained him to see people as toys and all the people he's hurt, how his dragon was his only friend and how itd protect him, and Hans couldn't help but hate his pessimistic attitude in expecting this while Kiara wouldn't really care too much but also wouldn't insult him by offering condolences. He knows he's become a monster and he won't deny or forget his mistakes, he'll simply try to do better.

-[note: Vrains suddenly had its ending announced for Sept.25 (i believe it may have been cancelled) so based on the episode title of 120 Yusaku and Ai will reunite and thats what im following here] Yusaku is skittish at best, downright invisible at worst. He doesn't want to be found, and even some of the Assassin Class servants have trouble tracking him down when needed. Ai managed to bring along a spare SOLtis body with him so he can walk around and physically interact with Yusaku. Even if they still had some tension between them they still cared about each other so they would keep each other company. It got real awkward when BB first showed up talking about being a sentient AI, so Ai immediatelt tried to befriend her, only to learn about her inhuman nature. While Ai may dislike that aspect of her, he knows from what happened with Roboppy that you cant forcibly change what you are, so he does his best to try and get along, which infuriates BB to no end since she feels like she's being talked down to. Yusaku as a programmer helps with most of Chaldeas regular workforce and he accomplishes hiding in plain sight by being the only master to interact more with the regular work staff than their servants. That being said, it doesn't change how some like Tamamo or Suzuka try to drag him out so he can meet some of the other servants. He gets along well with Kerry. Likely because they barely speak and share E Rank Luck.

I'm not going to pretend to be deep in Nasuverse magecraft and etc lore, but I do like a lot of aspects of it and whenever I think about Haikyuu boys in Nasuverse as an AU, I have magecraft-y (and et cetera) thoughts based on some of said lore, so here goes nothing. I’m gonna list them out under a read more

Particularly in the FGO AU where Sugawara Koushi is basically in Guda’s/Fujimaru Ritsuka’s position, Suga’s a kinda...hedge mage?

Like, he’s not particularly experienced in magecraft because he’s kinda sorta the one person in his family with strong enough Magic Circuits to be able to cast magecraft, but the quantity and quality of them aren’t high and he basically was unaware of it until he came to Chaldea lol.

Even then, he doesn’t...cast much spells without the support of specialized Mystic Codes as a Master. And most of it is more for supporting his Servant so basically he doesn’t use much direct magecraft.

But his Master compatibility rate is ridiculously high, and coupled with his compassion and cunning makes him pretty fit for the job as Chaldea’s last master lol

Kuroo in FGO AU specifically was an employee who was emergency promoted to head of the Leyshifting department simply because his superiors were pretty much out of commission, and he was the only one who had more than the barest inkling about the concepts behind the process

His family’s kinda not...fully Japanese? As in, he has some Norse blood, and since the Age of the Gods his family has a rather peculiar Sorcery Trait (or Sorcery Trait-like ability, the jury’s still out there in-universe and out-of-universe on that lol) that allows for them to basically reproduce Primal runes as Modern runes with about the same quality as they would be if they were the former?? Basically a whole-ass relic from the Age of the Gods feat. Norse runic magecraft

While most of it is just replication of runes to be seemingly more powerful than most modern runes and almost on the scale of those from ancient times, Kuroo’s family has directly passed down for centuries one particular rune that came straight from the gods themselves--the fire/sun rune, to be more exact.

the rune is carved down on a runestone that’s been preserved for centuries, and Kuroo tends to carry it around in his pocket since it’s not likely he’ll lose it for various reasons

Tbh, because of various reasons and how the Norse blood has distilled over generations, sometimes Magic Circuits skips generations--so Kuroo’s father has little to no magecraft talent while Kuroo’s stronger talent came from his mother (who married into the dwindling remnants of the clan in Japan)

The Magic Crest in his family isn’t passed down very consistently tbh, because of that--legit it can wind up on a deceased clan head’s family for one or two whole generations before it finally gets passed on

Kuroo’s crest is usually located on his left shoulder and can be easily covered up by most sleeved shirts

Kuroo’s elemental affinity is Fire, and his Origin is Passion

Outside of magecraft tho, Kuroo recognizes a lot of the concepts and science behind Leyshifting really well and pretty much was the one offered the emergency promotion in his department at Chaldea for a reason. He still has to stay up long nights to study documents on the theories and such behind the procedure to get a better idea, but overall he grasps it p well

He doesn’t have an especially strong affinity for being a Master, nor for actually Leyshifting himself

tho in a hypothetical “If he were to summon a Servant for the HGW”, Kuroo would probably summon Robin Hood

Tsukishima doesn’t have a large presence in the FGO AU (and Idk if I’ve decided he’s a magus in the FGO AU tbh), but in another Fate/Holy Grail War AU I know for a fact he comes from a line of magi who have been studying how to actively cancel the phenomena produced by other magecraft users for a very long time

His Mystic Code is a purple and black shield looking thing that expands from a cuff around his bicep, which basically helps with these effectively anti-magecraft spells by projecting them as a sort of barrier and amplifying their effects

was previously Akiteru’s before his death in story

His elemental affinity is metal and water, and his origin is Rejection

Amazingly enough, his Mage Crest is also on his left shoulder lol

it’s definitely bigger than Kuroo’s for various reasons (starting with it’s more consistently passed down over the decades)

Tsukishima has decent affinity for being a Master, and in his main AU does summon Arthur so

what if the chaldean is fake? or like a simulation? what with with all the themes about fiction and reality that fgo’s been beating us in the head with? 

simulation of romani and goetia from the simulations of part 1 that kirschtaria had to go through to be precise? I’ve been crying about how he must’ve had to experience ars nova trauma seven times over but what if he didn’t? he said pretty much nothing about how he survived the later parts in canon? 

and besides gilgamesh and merlin (who would rib at least romani about it and you can’t separate gil from seventh singularity unless you do some serious overhaul... which might explain some other things) those two are the most likely to suss out something terribly off about the entire existence of the world even if only on the account of how well they can’t help but know it? we already saw pepe suss things out so it’s not like discrepancies don’t exist and those immersed in it aren’t necessarily incapable of recognizing them?

what if chaldean’s entire existence is rooted in simulation romani and/or goetia figuring out something way more alarming is afoot? and kirschtaria’s simulation clear condition of solving the incineration of humanity was simulation goetia himself abandoning the incineration of simulated humanity in there? because both he and simulation romani decided they had much bigger fish to fry or something and he/they ended up chasing it into the reality... somehow??? idk grand caster/beast bullshit can go a long way? and kama originated from indian lostbelt, not as a summon or servant or anything but as a local of it, and managed to escape it and exist independently even without chaldea summoning system bullshit getting involved

which would have some serious drama potential in the scenario chaldean’s existence might be tied to the alien god’s like the fantasy trees and lostbelts and defeating her means erasing that maybe-somewhat-romani too

and even if he exist independently now he would have explicitly nothing to do with the romani that guda spent time with? knowing the event of part 1 as a record or from looking into past with clairvoyance at best instead of as his own memory? and even if memories with mash might exist, guda would be a non-entity on the personal relation level since kirschtaria’s simulations diverged on the day of lev’s attack by changing up the survivors

either way “our” romani would remain lost with no traces of him lingering in the chaldean

Hi! Sorry if this is a weird question or whatever, but could you tell me a little about the Flyers? Like fun facts, some of your favorite players, stuff like that? :)

hi!!! first off– not weird! i am approximately 200% of the time always willing to talk about the philadelphia flyers! secondly, if i may, @the-ghost-bear recently made this post and it’s an awesome thing to check out for some insight and humor on players that are detrimental to the (current and) near future of the flyers, so 10/10 do recommend giving it a read! i’m not really gonna include many of the players on that post tbh!!

so with that said, onto some of my favorite orange boys and my favorite things about the team…

jake voracek–

actually a garbage man, taking out the trash for us. one of our highest scorers the past few seasons since i started really watching. my second favorite beard in the league (behind brent burns, but we’ll save my crying about the sharks for another day!). one of our surprisingly many gingers, bc the flyers aren’t orange enough, i guess. petting his hair may or may not be on my bucket list. probably going to become cousin it from addams family at some point? apparently a big bruce springsteen fan who takes his teammates to see the boss in concert which is one of my favorite things about him from one big boss fan to another. probably not relevant to everyone’s interests but.

wayne simmonds–

ALL STAR MVP WAYNE THE TRAIN SIMMONDS. pk subban wisely advises you should never fight wayne simmonds. shayne gostisbehere wisely advises you should never prank wayne simmonds. they are both very smart men. campaigned for the 2017 all star weekend with puppies, so if he’s not Your Fave, you’re probably wrong. a good canadian and 100% one of philadelphia’s top 5 favorite humans in existence. he deserves so much. sass level 100.

brandon manning–

i feel like it’s just important to give him a shout out for being soft and sweet and shy and according to @cneuvvora he smells good so is he the perfect man? probably. imo very underappreciated on the whole which is sad. if you take anything from this answer, it’s to go give brandon manning some love.

claude giroux–

you may recognize him as having been captain of team canada for worlds this year but truly he is the captain of my heart. you also may recognize him from “fuckin pigeon” bc truly top 5 hockey chirps. appropriately, also a ginger. maybe was not the best player this year (he had hip surgery last summer tho) but at least he has this skill going for him. mostly just wants to love you. unarguably has the best fiancee (ryanne breton check her out it won’t be a mistake) and the best dogs (who ryanne just made an instagram for harvandcharlie 100% worth a follow). got absolutely hilariously punched in the face by fellow flyer radko gudas during worlds and i laugh so hard i cry every time i see that gif.

brayden schenn–

you don’t even really want me to start talking about brayden schenn because i will legitimately go on for hours probably whilst crying. he’s a good soft canadian boy who loves food and has the brightest smile i’ve ever seen (HE SMOOSH HIS NOSE I’M!!!! so sorry i’m like this…) and allie’s post i linked above does a great job at talking about him. he is my #1 favorite flyer, though. that’s probably obvious.

michal neuvirth–

i’ve heard a lot of speculation we only resigned him to get rid of him in the expansion draft. i’m not going to get into all of that though. he’s still a flyer at least for now right!!! but regardless, he is one of my absolute favorite flyers and in my top 3 favorite goalies no matter where he ends up at any point in his career. one third of our czech connection he is dating radko gudas’ sister and i have no doubt they are going to have one of the cutest babies i’ve ever seen soon (at least, i don’t think the baby was born yet, but it’s gotta be soon??? correct me if i’m wrong). he just seems like one of the sweetest guys ever and this post is very accurate. sounds really lovely speaking czech. i just want the world to appreciate michal neuvirth.

brayden schenn’s bromo as far as i’m concerned. the victim of one of my personal favorite videos in existence. got injured and didn’t play the last chunk of the season and i miss him A Lot. yet another ginger; it’s frankly absurd how many gingers we have. would anyone back me up if i started a conspiracy theory about the flyers collecting gingers? also, apparently a supermodel sometimes. idk he’s just a good funny dude and not a bad player at all!!

honestly i wish the flyers did more as far as behind the scenes/extras things, because they don’t have a lot and i’m blanking on any Quirky/Funny Flyers Things™? mostly, we cry a lot.
