Richie had never really enjoyed reading books. It wasn’t that he was bad at it, not really. It wasn’t that he wasn’t smart, he’s a straight A student, he just didn’t enjoy sitting down and reading a hundred+ pages, he couldn’t sit still. So, whenever they needed to read a book for class, he would have Ben read it to him.

He found Ben’s gentle voice calming, and he found that he could sit (though still shifting his position a lot) and listen to Ben read to him. It started when they had to read “The Outsiders” for English in the 8th grade.

Him and Ben had agreed to meet up at the library after school to sit and read together. When Ben discovered Richie’s troubles with reading books, he offered to read to him.

“I’m not a kindergartner, Benny, I shouldn’t need someone to read to me.” Richie had mumbled.

Ben put a hand on his shoulder. “You’re not dumb if you need someone to read to you, Rich. You’re smart, like really smart, you just have trouble sitting still is all, it’s not your fault.”

Richie sighed before nodding, and they sat in bean bag chairs right up next to each other, Richie’s legs spread out on Ben’s, and Ben started reading.

They made it through 6 chapters before Ben said they should stop there.

“We don’t want to read too far so early on, we only needed to read two chapters today. Plus, my moms gonna wanna see me home really soon.” Ben explained when Richie had whined.

They said goodbye and went their separate ways, and as Richie biked home he thought about how much he enjoyed Ben reading to him, and how he could sit and listen to Ben read to him forever.

They went through the rest of the book that way, meeting up at the library after school. Then they read all the rest of the books they needed to read for school that way, and they even started to read their own books together for fun.

Ok but Richie being the best kisser out of the losers with the softest lips. He’s always kissing the others and they all love it so fucking much. He’s also such a sap like what??? He compliments everyone even when they’re tired and look like shit. They all feel so warm when a pair of arms comes wrapping around them in the morning. It’s the best though when they repay him. They all cuddle him and plant kisses on his forehead saying how much they love him. He honestly cries cuz wow he’s never felt this much love from anyone else, including his shitty parents.

1-What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?

I do not really dislike or do not get any OTP, the only problem that I could have is with StenBrough .Is kinda weird for me because when people makes (in fics) Bill more kind than he actually is and acts like Ben or Mike.

21-What are your thoughts on crack ships?

I enjoy reading about them because its so interesting how they could work as a couple. Its so funny. I specially love StanVerly and Ben/Richie, I do not even know how their ship name is, BenZier?

Schon mal Hybrid gefahren? Egal, wie die Antwort ausfällt: Man kann sich denken, dass es ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis ist. In meinem Fall kann ich die Eingangsfrage mit „ja“ beantworten. Dennoch schwang ein seltsames Gefühl der Ungewissheit vor der ersten Fahrt mit dem Toyota Prius PHEV mit. Was würde mich erwarten? Der Kompakte mit dem grünen Gewissen macht es einem aber leicht, ihn zu mögen und schafft es die Sorgen vor der elektrifizierten Zukunft schnell in Vergessenheit geraten zu lassen. Wir wollen uns einmal anschauen, was den neuen Toyota Prius PHEV auszeichnet.

Die gewölbte Heckscheibe ist ein Design-Highlight des Prius PHEV

Zunächst einmal zum Begriff PHEV: Die Abkürzung steht für „Plug-In Electric Vehicle“ und ziert grundsätzlich Hybird-Fahrzeuge, deren Antriebsbatterie extern geladen werden kann. Man muss diese also nicht durch reines Fahren laden, sondern kann das Fahrzeug – beispielsweise über Nacht – einfach in der heimischen Garage an die Steckdose hängen. Oder an einen Starkstrom-Anschluss, wie es so schön heißt. Der Vorteil liegt auf der Hand: Steigt man morgens in den voll aufgeladenen Toyota Prius PHEV, kann man zunächst die Batterie „leerfahren“, bevor der Verbrenner zugeschaltet wird – die Emissionen des Fahrzeugs liegen dann bei null. Die Reichweite des voll aufgeladenen Akkus liegt bei über 50 Kilometern, sodass einfache Pendelstrecken, die in der Regel diesen Wert nicht überschreiten, ohne lästige Abgase realisiert werden können. Wird der Akku leer gefahren, schaltet der Prius einfach den Benzinmotor hinzu, sodass man keine Angst vor einem Liegenbleiben haben muss. Zumal die Batterie während der Fahrt geladen wird.

Design – Gewohnt anders

Form follows function: Niedriger CW-Wert durch das auffällige Design

Aber der Reihe nach – schauen wir uns den Japaner zunächst von außen an. Auf den ersten Blick wird klar, dass es sich hier nicht um ein „herkömmliches“ Fahrzeug handelt. Die Front wirkt durch die serienmäßigen LED-Scheinwerfer fast schon finster und autoritär – es könnte einem geradezu angst und bange werden. Grimmig schaut er drein, der Toyota Prius, dabei meint er es doch gut und will die Welt retten. Das sieht man seinem Bruder, dem Toyota Prius ohne externe Ladefunktion schon eher an. Der unterscheidet sich vor allem an der Front vom PHEV. Beiden gemein ist wiederum ihre gestreckte Silhouette mit dem abfallenden Dach und der ansteigenden Gürtellinie. Das wirkt nicht nur ungewohnt, sondern hat auch einen Zweck: Um den Durchschnittsverbrauch so gering wie möglich zu halten, wurde der Prius aerodynamisch gestaltet. So zeigt der Plug-In Hybrid mit 0,25 den besten CW-Wert seiner Klasse.

Wirklich ungewöhnlich wird es am Heck: Während die Rückleuchten noch an den aktuellen Honda Civic erinnern, kommen bei der Heckscheibe Erinnerungen an den Peugeot RCZ und an die 1980er Jahre auf. Die doppelte Wölbung der Heckscheibe weckt Reminiszenzen an das französische Sportcoupé, während ihre Zweiteilung an eine frühe Generation den Honda CRX erinnert. Fakt ist, dass diese Zweiteilung Vorteile mit sich bringt. Durch die aerodynamische Form bedingt, liegt die Heckscheibe fast auf dem Fahrzeug, sodass man relativ wenig nach hinten sehen kann. Hier kommt die Zweiteilung ins Spiel, die das Rangieren erleichtert, da man ungewohnt tief blicken kann. So wird das Einparken erleichtert, wobei die stets serienmäßige Rückfahrkamera noch mehr Entlastung schafft. Parksensoren kosten hingegen Aufpreis, sind angesichts der Kamera aber kaum nötig.

Ohne Abstriche: Das spacige Interieur

Aufgeräumt, auf den ersten Blick ungewohnt aber schnell zu verstehen: Das Armaturenbrett

Und damit wären wir auch schon beim Innenraum. Man erwartet ein ungewöhnliches Innenleben bereits beim Anblick des Exterieurs. Und genau so ist es denn auch: Die Instrumente sitzen nicht hinter dem Lenkrad, sind nicht auf zwei runde Tuben aufgeteilt. Der Schaltknauf wandert in das Armaturenbrett und fällt geradezu winzig aus, während das Infotainment hier mit einem 8-Zoll-Display dominiert. Stört das? Keineswegs!

Die wesentlichen Instrumente lassen sich gut ablesen und gliedern sich in eine Tachoeinheit, eine Display zur Darstellung des Antriebs und von Verbrauchsstatistiken sowie ein Head-Up Display auf, das bereits in der kleinsten Variante serienmäßig ist. Leider ist es nicht in Kombination mit dem Solardach zu haben. Ansonsten regelt man die Klimaautomatik ganz simpel über ein eigenständiges Panel am Armaturenbrett, während die restlichen Funktionen im Infotainment gebündelt werden. Auch das lässt sich gut bedienen – zumindest, wenn man mit modernen Geräten bereits in Berührung gekommen ist. Einziger Knackpunkt: Ein Rädchen für die Verstellung der Lautstärke fehlt, sodass man entweder über das Multifunktionslenkrad oder die Tasten am Infotainment selbst über lauter oder leiser entscheiden kann. Dem Multifunktionslenkrad würden beschriftete Tasten zudem guttun – hier drückt man anfänglich auf Verdacht.

Serienmäßiges Head-Up Display für alle Versionen (außer mit Solardach)

Ansonsten fällt der Prius kaum auf: Die Platzverhältnisse im Innern sind gut, Fahrer jeder Statur und Größe finden Platz und können alles auf sich einstellen. Selbst in der zweiten Sitzreihe kann man entspannt lümmeln, wenn vorn nicht gerade 2,0 Meter-Riesen untergebracht sind. Aber immerhin sprechen wir hier von einem Kompaktmodell – mehr Platz bietet auch kein Golf. Einzig eine kleine Tasche mehr Stauraum bieten die Kompakt-Mitstreiter: Bedingt durch die Batterie im Heck des Toyota Prius PHEV stehen hier 360 Liter Volumen bereit, während ein Wolfsburger rund 20 Liter mehr bieten würde. Kaufentscheidend? Sicher nicht! Also Schwamm drüber.

Fahreindrücke: Sanfter Gleiter

Kommen wir also zu den Fahreindrücken, denn diese zählen letztlich am meisten. Und um es vorweg zu schildern: Sportlichkeit ist nicht die Sache des Toyota Prius PHEV. Zwar kann man zwischen den drei Fahrmodi Eco, Normal und Power wählen, doch Dynamik kommt nie recht auf – nicht mal durch das rot illuminierte Tachometer. Also besinnt man sich auf die wahren Tugenden des Plug-In Hybriden und versucht möglichst ökonomisch voranzukommen. Schließlich kann man hier echten Sportsgeist entwickeln und durch das integrierte Punkte-System zum veritablen Sprit-Sparer werden. Je nach Fahrweise zeigt einem das Infodisplay, wie viele von den möglichen 100 Punkten man gerade erreicht hat.

Also: Fahrzeug anlassen und…. Und nichts! Kein Anlasser-Orgeln, keine Verbrennungsgeräusche, kein nichts. Das ist Hybriden zwar nicht ungewöhnlich, doch ist es immer wieder eine kleine Umstellung. Eine angenehme Umstellung. So heißt es dann Wahlhebel auf D und los. Das maximale Drehmoment des E-Motors von 142 Nm steht sofort bereit und kann den PHEV bei Bedarf nachdrücklich nach vorn bewegen. Bis maximal 135 km/h kann man rein elektrisch fahren – sofern der Akku geladen ist. Für eine vollständige Ladung benötigt man mit einer herkömmlichen Haushaltssteckdose rund drei Stunden und zehn Minuten. Über den Typ II Ladestecker lädt die Batterie mit 3,3 kW anstatt der sonst üblichen 2,0 kW. Damit ist der Akku in zwei Stunden vollständig geladen.

Sportlichkeit ist nicht die bevorzugte Gangart des Prius PHEV

Und so kommt es, dass man den Benziner kaum zum Fahren benötigt. Man rollt leise surrend los und fühlt sich, als würde man mit Raumschiff Enterprise über die Straße rollen. Mitschwimmen im Alltagsverkehr – erst recht im mühseligen Stop-And-Go-Verkehr – lassen sich ganz einfach aus dem Ärmel schütteln. Erst beim Kontakt des „Gas“-Pedals mit dem Bodenblech erwacht der 1.8 Liter Reihenvierzylinder zum Leben und jault angestrengt. Dank des Planetengetriebes wird der Motor zwar permanent in dem Drehzahlbereich gehalten, der vom System für Ideal erachtet wird, doch die Geräuschkulisse vereitelt jeden Gedanken an eine sportliche Fahrweise. Also bringt man einen potentiellen Überholvorgang schnell hinter sich und gleitet lieber wieder entspannt dahin – und erfreut sich über die stets steigende Punktzahl der Umwelt-Retter-Anzeige.

Für den Alltag völlig ausreichend: 360 Liter Ladevolumen

Dazu passt auch die Fahrwerksauslegung. Sie gibt sich überaus kommod, macht aber unmissverständlich klar, dass Kurven nicht das Metier des Toyota Prius sind. Z��gige Autobahnkurven führen zu starker Seitenneigung und zu hochgezogenen Augenbrauchen der Mitfahrer. Auch hier zeigt sich wieder, dass der Prius eher sanfter Gleiter, denn wilder Halunke ist. Hinzu kommt die Lenkung, die mit ihrer Leichtgängigkeit das Rangieren im Stadtverkehr erleichtert. Ein zielgenaues Anpeilen von Kurven mag sie hingegen weniger.

Unter dem Strich? Öko muss man sich leisten können

Aber wundert das? Sicher nicht! Der Prius PHEV ist herrlich entspannend und bricht mit der fast schon gesetztenRegel, dass jedes Fahrzeug heutzutage Slalomrennen gewinnen müsste. Gegenteiliges ist der Fall: Der Alltag ist stressig genug, warum sollte man sich dann auch von seinem Auto zu Hektik verleiten lassen? Das hat Toyota verstanden und überträgt es auf den Prius. Wer es unbedingt dynamisch haben will, der soll mit sportlichem Ehrgeiz versuchen, so wenig wie nur irgend möglich zu Verbrauchen. Ab Werk wird der Plug-In Hybrid mit 1,7 Litern angegeben, während der Alltag bei zurückhaltender Fahrweise eher 3,3 Liter verlangt. Wer im Rahmen der Batterie-Kapazität bleibt und die Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 169 km/h dem Prospekt überlässt, wird sich und sein grünes Alter Ego zum Grinsen bringen. Und wenn es doch mal im rechten Fuß juckt: Die Beschleunigung auf 100 km/h kann man rein elektrisch erleben. Die Werksangabe von 11,1 Sekunden fühlt sich sogar besser an, als es die Papierform vermuten lässt – immerhin steht die volle Elektro-Power sofort parat. Dennoch sollte man sich im Klaren darüber sein, dass der Toyota Prius PHEV nur mit beiden Aggregaten parallel volle Fahrt voraus geben kann.

Die Heckklappe besteht aus leichter, aber teurer Karbonfaser

Preislich geht das ökonomische Vergnügen bei mindestens 37.550 Euro los – eine reichhaltige Ausstattung mit Voll-LED-Scheinwerfern, 8-Zoll-Infotainment und Klimaautomatik bereits inbegriffen. Den Aufpreis für das Solarmodell kann man sich überdies sparen, erhöht das Panel die elektrische Reichweite maximal um fünf Kilometer am Tag.

Stan and Bev are definitely the most conventionally attractive.

I would say Richie is the most unexpectedly attractive...especially for someone like me who isn't normally attracted to men. I mean...he's tall and hairy and...kinda gross (sorry, Rich) but somehow he just has this way about him...
