Week 23.75/52: June 6th - June 12th 2022 | Victoria Travels cont. 🍭

Didn’t really know where to go on day 2 of travel so we just went to Chinatown, 幸福堂 for bubble tea (got their grapefruit yogurt drink... yums!), downtown (again, but without anti-vaxxers in the front of the parliament building), and the Royal BC museum. A lot of their displays were closing down so the tickets were super discounted at $5 per person?? but got to see a bunch of things including a giant life sized mammoth display HAHAHAHA. So cute actually. I enjoyed the museum a lot. Another super windy day, I legit ate those hot dogs in a tornado HAHAHAHA (and I definitely put way too much sauce but yum regardless).

Week 21/52: May 23rd - May 29th 2022 | Being Tourists in YEG with Hiranyaa! 🚉

Woke up at 10am and got ready as fast as I could before Hiranyaa came to pick me up lol. I legit did my entire makeup in 10 minutes while I listened to Carson talk about shoes HAHAHAHA 🤣 we said bye and then Hiranyaa and I went to Under the High Wheel on Whyte for brunch. I got their Belgian waffle with eggs benedict and sausage & potatoes. So yum and filling... no idea how I managed to finish all of that hahahaha but I did! We caught up and talked for a couple hours before heading off to explore the rest of Whyte. We spontaneously decided to go on the High Level streetcars! A super nice little train and round trip was $7 per person. Got nice views of the skyline and downtown. Worth the try I think! Not me being a total tourist in YEG even though I never bothered in the four years I lived here hahaah. But it was truly so much fun!!! Ended off the afternoon with Hiranyaa with Heeretea. I tried their 满杯红柚 and it was yum! Super cute interior too.
