Light and Sound on the Path: May You Always Find Genuineness in What's Presented Here As We Explore A Spiritual Path Called Sant Mat
Plain text version below. For the HTML version with photos, go to: https://santmatradhasoami.blogspot.com/2021/04/light-and-sound-on-path-may-you-always.html
This Light
Astonishing, this light, so different --
even with eyes closed you see it.
It was never lit, nor does it ever go out
-- the luminous soul makes it shine eternally.
No colour yet all colours,
this light is illumined by life itself.
Nila says, Today God in his grace
used my offering of the lamp of devotion
simply as an excuse
to let me experience this light.
-- Niloba of Maharashtra
Huzur Maharaj Rai Saligram Bahadur: "If someone's mind is inordinately attracted towards some particular worldly affairs, or towards some particular person, or entertains strong feelings of enmity or grudge against anyone, then also he will have little love in the Holy Feet of the Supreme Being, and for this reason, his mind will not apply itself to devotional practices, and he will find little pleasure in them. To sum up, therefore, a true satsangi should as far as possible, detach himself [or herself] from worldly affairs every day, and should increase his love and attachment in the Feet of the Supreme Being. The extent to which his mind gets relieved of worldly attachments, is love in the Feet of the Supreme Being will increase and the bliss of Bhajan and Dhyan [meditation including inner Sound Meditation] will also be felt in a greater degree, and he will experience internally greater Daya [Grace]."
Sant Dariya Sahib of Bihar: "The Lord thoughtfully spoke this word to Dariya: 'Boundless indeed is My Naam. Let one hold fast to Naam with one-pointed attention -- Kal [lord of time and illusion, the negative power] can never go near such a person. Let one merge one's attention into Naam while standing or sitting, and let one direct one's love to the Divine inner sight. If one bears the Satguru's imprint, his authentic passport and his spiritual coin for transaction, one will certainly go across the ocean of the world (samsara). Such a one discards the deception of gods and goddesses and, being engaged in the true practice [surat shabd yoga], is steeped in the Lord's love [bhakti]. Giving up delusion, he endearingly holds fast to the Beloved, nurturing the true love obtained from the Satguru. While standing or sitting he thinks of the Lord and remains absorbed in the Sound Current. He takes shelter under the Truth and thus brings Kal to defeat.'" (Book of Gyan Deepak)
Beyond the Material Five Senses are Subtle Spiritual Senses: Spiritual Seeing, Spiritual Hearing, etc...: "Since the exterior senses, by hearing, by sight, by the sense of smell and of touch, are not able to search out the innermost mysteries of the natures, on this account God conceals within the inner members a nature having senses more subtle than all the bodies. Now because of the subtleness of its stirrings, this nature searches out the hidden wisdom of the things created by the Lord of all." (John the Solitary, "John the Solitary On the Soul", Syriac mystic -- I have a great fondness for the depth of the Syriac mystics)
"Within This Body" --
Mystic Poem of Sant Tulsi Sahib
Within this body
breathes the secret essence.
Within this body
beats the heart of the Vedas.
Within this body
shines the entire Universe,
so the saints say.
Hermits, ascetics, celibates
- all are lost
seeking Him
in endless guises.
Seers and sages perfectly parrot
the scriptures and holy books,
blinded by knowledge.
Their pilgrimage,
and fasting,
and striving
but delude
Despite their perfect practice,
they discover no destination.
Only the saints
who know the body's heart
have attained the Ultimate, O Tulsi.
Realize this, and you've found your freedom
(while teachers trapped in tradition
know only the mirage
in the mirror).
Inner Sound Meditation Leading to Anami Oneness: "The ascension of the soul in the reverse direction of flow of streams of sounds can thus be compared to the swimming of fishes. Hence the Yoga of Sound has also been referred to as "mina marg" (mina meaning fish and marg meaning path). Thus, climbing further and further, leaving all the five spheres behind one after another, the soul finally transcends even the domain of the Quintessential Unstruck Sound and merges into the 'Anami' (Nameless/Soundless) or 'Kaivalyatita' (beyond Kaivalya or the Conscious) State to be one with [merge with] the Supreme Godhead, to be God Himself. Thus yoga or union or bhakti (devotion) gets completed."
-- Swami Achyutanand Baba, The Yoga of Inner Light and Sound
Excerpts from a Satsang Discourse by Baba Somanath Commenting on Verses of Soamiji Maharaj (from Sar Bachan, Bachan 19, Shabd 13)
Soamiji Maharaj: "The Guru says all the world is blind. No one grasps the secret of the inner way."
Baba Somanath: "This is the bani [hymn] of Param Sant Satguru Hazur Swami Ji. He says that all the world is blind. Why? In the beginning, the Almighty Lord put the Path to meet Him within us and then He sent us into this world. And if that inner eye opens, then we will reunite with the Lord. But through millions of yugas [vast epochs of time] and incarnations, we have been running outward. Lord Kal [the negative power] has placed the curtain of mind and Maya [illusion] over the soul and has cast it into the outer world. And becoming extroverted, the soul is always hurrying forward, never looking back to realize the True Home that it left so long ago."
Soamiji Maharaj: "Everyone is wandering outside aimlessly. No one catches hold of the Shabd [Sound] within."
Baba Somanath: "It is just like the water and the waves. Our entire lifespan is consumed counting the waves. Millions of yugas have passed in this way. But what is the nature of a wave? It is composed of water. But if we are under the illusion that the wave is something substantial in itself, if we forget the wave is only water, if we think of the wave as something separate from the water, then we do not understand its real nature.
"In the same way, all the jivas [souls], becoming infatuated with the pleasures created by mind and Maya, rush about in the external world and waste their allotted span of life. Under this illusion, the jiva says, 'Who is equal to me? What shortcoming is there in me?' We may think this, we may think that, but when the breaths finish what remains? Only a heap of earth, nothing more. We have become so identified with this heap of earth that we think it is our true self. And in our ignorance, we assert: 'Who can compare with me?'"
Soamiji Maharaj: "The Guru proclaims ceaselessly: 'Search for the Shabd within.'"
Baba Somanath: "The Satguru constantly tries to make us understand. What does He tell us? 'Brother, take your mind away from the disturbance of this world, from 'I and mine,' from enjoying the sense pleasures, and fix it within at the point between the two eyes [third eye]. When the mind becomes concentrated, that Inner Power will call you of itself. That Power is the Sound Current, the Word, the Akash-bani (Etheric Sound). Concentrate your attention on that Sound Current -- do not look this way and that."
Soamiji Maharaj: "Only some rare worthy one stands firm on the support of the Master's words."
Baba Somanath: "As soon as the rare, worthy disciples hear the Guru's words, they take them to their hearts. The instant they hear those words they act upon them. But the unworthy disciples take the Guru's words as ordinary and carelessly discard them.
"Who are the worthy disciples of the highest order? 'They meet with the True Guru if emancipation is written in their destiny.' Whoever has once attained the inner darshan [vision] of the perfect Satguru, whoever has learned the inner secret, their work is accomplished. This is the highest grade of worthy disciple. Such a disciple is like the pearl oyster who swims to the surface of the water and opens its mouth to receive the raindrops that fall during the swati nakshatra. As soon as it catches that swati raindrop, it closes its mouth, and from that drop, it creates the priceless divine pearl in its within.
"So, Swami Ji Maharaj says that as soon as those rare worthy disciples hear the Guru's words, they mold their lives according to His instructions. They act on His words and do not allow their minds to wander here and there. They never listen to the advice of the mind."
Soamiji Maharaj: "Everything of the world appears flawed and false. Only the devotion to the Guru is True."
Baba Somanath: "Those souls who remain absorbed in the Naam day and night regard the world as a debased place. They understand the bonds that keep us shackled, and they see clearly the nets that Kal has spread. Now our love and affection for this outer world is so strong that we cannot leave it, so how can our love become attached to the Lord? Love is only way. Either you can attach it to the Naam, or you can attach it to the world.
Soamiji Maharaj: "Going into the shelter of Radhaswami [Lord of the Soul], the jiva swims across the ocean of existence."
Baba Somanath: "Whoever does the practice of Surat and Shabd* will cross over the ocean of existence."

Saruye Jag Nache Mayama, Nache Maya Ma Ne Hath
The whole world dances being lost in the illusions. But the illusions they dance in the hands of the Divine Mother. So Kakaji further says try to seek the truthful shelter of the Divine Mother, It shall not hurt you. Even the sages left in hallucinations and Narad Muni ( the great sage of God's who is always roaming in the Universe) was also attracted by the hallucinations. Kakaji reminds If you are the growing child, keep this always in your mind. Sometimes you find it to be loving, and sometimes you feel it to be monstrous. It shall always be based on your own deeds & Karma's. Your efforts shall make it move, so be aware of it. Be very firm on the resolutions you take, see that your confidence is not broken. The one who crossed over, are not trapped. Keep always a similar vision, keep your vision at the foot of the Divine Mother. The hands of illusions shall fall, the door of progress shall open. Otherwise you shall get tired by eating the beatings of illusions. The pure pious Divine Mother needs her pure childrens. Even a bit of stain shall not work on it, take utmost care from getting stained. Kakaji's hymns are an eye opener to all of us giving so much of enlightenment to our knowledge and making us wise, which would have been so difficult for us to understand in this practical world.

Shiva is the god of the yogis, self-controlled, while at the same time a lover of his spouse (shakti). Lord Shiva is the destroyer of the world, following Brahma the creator and Vishnu the preserver, after which Brahma again creates the world and so on. Destruction opens the path for a new creation of the universe, a new opportunity for the beauty and drama of universal illusion to unfold.
Advertisements
He is responsible for change both in the form of death and destruction and in the positive sense of destroying the ego, the false identification with the form. All that has a beginning, must have an end. Thus the power of destruction associated with Lord Shiva has great purifying power, both on a more personal level when problems make us see reality more clearly, as on a more universal level.
Forms of Shiva
Shiva has many forms, which are visible in his Panchavaktra form with 5 heads, a combination of all Shiva energies : Aghora (resides in the creamation grounds), Ishana (most often appears as the shivalingam), Tat Purusha (meditating), Varna Deva (the eternal Shiva) and Saddyojat or Braddha Rudra (the old wrathful form). The last also forms the connection to the Rudraksha mala – a rosary made of the dried fruits of the Rudraksha tree.
Another form is the Nataraj. Shiva Nataraj‘s dance represents both the destruction and the creation of the universe and reveals the cycles of death, birth and rebirth. His Dance of Bliss is for the welfare of the world. In the pose of Nataraj, the King of Dance is giving darshan to his beloved devotees within the “Hall of Consciousness”, which is the heart of man. Under his feet, Shiva crushes the demon of ignorance called Apasmara Purusha, caused by forgetfulness. One hand is stretched across his chest and points towards the uplifted foot, indicating the release from earthly bondage of the devotee. The fire represents the final destruction of creation, but the dance of the Nataraj is also an act of creation, which arouses dormant energies and scatters the ashes of the universe in a pattern that will be the design of the ensuing creation.
Yet another manifestation of Lord Shiva is said to be Hanuman, the ultimate karma yogi, in never-ending selfless service to Ram. The fact that this is not really clear can be perfectly explained by the understanding that a true karma yogi will never take the credit for his acts, as they would otherwise not be entirely selfless. The ego would still get the credit. So, in order to respect Shiva as a true karma yogi, let us not pay too much attention to this manifestation.

Sadguru Shri Devendra Ghiaji lovingly called Kakaji by all of us. In this Gujarati Bhajan Kakaji is spreading the knowledge & truth of a soul which comes wandering in this world, by carrying the old imprints, which are difficult to change.
Kakaji says
Wandering Wandering the soul comes in this world.
But it has not left it's old habits as did not forget to wander, does not settle down in the shelter of the Divine Mother.
It is all in confusions & confusions trapped in the Illusions.
It seems good to the heart, as if a blow went through the heart.
Did not feel tired at all, as the dice felt right in this world.
Awkward from the other side, got released from the illusions of this world.
Being forced by the habit, of so many births it slipped into despair.
It has to take a lot of hard work to pick it up.
The heart moves slowly by taking a perpetual, breath of hope.
And slowly the mind becomes calm & gets settled at the feet of the Divine.

Change is a death and rebirth process that means the old way is dying and a new way is being reborn. It is the the most constant part of life but often unseen until it profoundly affects and upsets our daily lives. . Change often requires us to transform, conform, and mourn what we’ve always known in favor of the unfamiliar new way that is ready to usher into our lives. . Our belief that there is only this one way is what keeps us trapped in unhealthy relationships, jobs, environments, habits and patterns of behavior. We are our biggest obstacle stunting our growth and evolution. . When you so tightly hold onto your strong beliefs it shackles you to your past where you act out of comfort and stay small out of fear. It takes courage and vulnerability to step into the unknown and trust that everything will work out for you and you will be alright! . The origin of the word Change comes from the Old English Cambium, which means "To Become." Even if you don’t know what’s next you have to be willing to step in with both feet and allow it to unfold without old expectations of how it should look, feel, or be. . As Yogi Bhajan says, “There’s a way through every block!” The only block I’ve found keeping me held back in my own life has been MySelf! I know the difficulty involved in confronting the old beliefs but I also know the rewards that have come from it in my life! . What lessons has this past year, even decade, revealed to you about You? . Are You ready to Step Up in this New Year 2020 — Are You willing to step in to the unknown? . 🎭 Drop Your old Self and Allow Your True Self To BE . Out with the Old and in with the New! . Mero Saransthaan/Psalm 91 (Nepal)
A new worship song in Nepali based on Psalm 91, to give hope and encouragement to people in Nepal which is being ravaged by the pandemic.
The title “Mero Saransthaan” translates as “My Shelter.”
The bhajan is a wonderful musical fusion which features Nepali instruments including sarangi (vertical fiddle), bansuri (bamboo flute), and  local drums along with western chordal instruments.

Psalm 91, NLT
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High    will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;    he is my God, and I trust him. 3 For he will rescue you from every trap    and protect you from deadly disease. 4 He will cover you with his feathers.    He will shelter you with his wings.    His faithful promises are your armor and protection. 5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,    nor the arrow that flies in the day. 6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,    nor the disaster that strikes at midday. 7 Though a thousand fall at your side,    though ten thousand are dying around you,    these evils will not touch you. 8 Just open your eyes,    and see how the wicked are punished.
9 If you make the Lord your refuge,    if you make the Most High your shelter, 10 no evil will conquer you;    no plague will come near your home. 11 For he will order his angels    to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you up with their hands    so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. 13 You will trample upon lions and cobras;    you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.    I will protect those who trust in my name. 15 When they call on me, I will answer;    I will be with them in trouble.    I will rescue and honor them. 16 I will reward them with a long life    and give them my salvation.”

chennai to shirdi flight packages
Precious Sayings of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba
 1. Action - Karma
This deha prarabdha (present birth) is the result of the karma (action) done by you in the former births.
2. Assurance
If a man utters My name with love, I shall fulfill all his wishes and increase his devotion. If he sings earnestly about My life and deeds, him I shall beset in front and back and on all sides.
3. Beauty
We have not to bother  chennai to shirdi flight packages   about beauty or ugliness of the person, but to concentrate solely on God underlying that form.
4. Charity
The donor gives, that is, sow  his seeds, only to reap a rich harvest in future. Wealth should be meant to work out Dharma. If it is not given before, you do not get it now. So, the best way to receive it is to give.
5. Contentment
One must rest content with one’s lot.
 6. Dakshina
The giving of dakshina (reverential gift) advances vairagya (non-attachment) and thereby bhakthi (devotion).
7. Death
None dies ; see with your inner eyes. Then you will realise that you are God and not different from Him. Like worn-out garments the body is cast away.
8. Illusion (Maya)
Whenever any idea of joy or sorrow arises in your mind, resist it. Do not give room to it. It is pure maya (illusion).
9. Destiny
Whosoever is destined to be struck will be struck. Whosoever is to die will die. Whosoever is to be caressed will be caressed.
10. Discrimination
There are two sorts of things - the good and the pleasant. Both these things approach a man for acceptance. He has to think   and choose one of them. The wise man prefers the good to the pleasant but the unwise, through greed and attachment, chooses the pleasant and thereby cannot gain Brahma gyana (self-realisation).
11. Devotee
He who withdraws his heart from wife, child, and parents and loves me is My real lover or devotee and he merges in me like a river in the sea.
12. Devotion
Knowledge of the Vedas or fame as a great jnani (learned scholar) of formal bhajan (worship) are of no avail unless they are accompanied by bhakthi (devotion).
13. Differences
People differentiate between themselves and others, their properties with others' properties. This is wrong. I am in you and you are in Me. Meditate on the self with a question "Who am I ?"
14. Duty
Unless a man discharges satisfactorily and disinterestedly the duties of his station in life, his mind will not be purified.
15. Egoism
The teachings of a Guru are of no use to a man who is full of egoism and who always thinks about sense-objects.
16. Enemy
Who is whose enemy ? Do not say of anyone that he is your enemy. All are one and the same.
17. Equanimity
Let the world go topsy-turvy, you remain where you are. Standing or staying at your own place, look calmly at the show of all things passing before you.
18. Exploitation
Nobody should take the labour of others' gratis. The worker should be paid his dues promptly and liberally.
19. Feeding
Know for certain that he who  feeds the hungry, really serves Me with food. Regard this as an axiomatic truth.
20. Food
Sitting in the masjid (mosque) I shall never, never speak untruth. Take pity on Me like this : first give bread to the hungry and then eat yourself. Note this well.
21. Forbearance
Our Karma is the  cause of happiness and sorrow. Therefore, put up with whatever comes to you.
22. God
God lives in all beings and creatures, whether they be serpents or scorpions. He is the greatest wirepuller of the world, and all beings, serpents, scorpions, et cetera, obey His command.
23. God’s Gifts
What a man gives does not last long and it is always imperfect. But what my sircar (God) gives, lasts to the end of life. No other gift from any man can be compared to His.
24. God’s Grace
You must always adhere to truth and fulfill all the promises you make. Have shraddha (faith) and saburi (patience). Then I will always be with you, wherever you are.
25. God’s Will
Unless God wills it, nobody meets us on the way ; unless God wills, nobody can do any harm to us.
26. Goodness
If you act in a good way, good will really follow.
27. Greed
Greed and Brahma are poles asunder ; they are eternally opposed to each other. Where there is greed, there is no room for thought or meditation of the Brahma. Then how can a greedy man get dispassion and salvation.
28. Guru
Stick to your own Guru with unabated faith, whatever the merits of other gurus and however little the merits of your own.
29. Guru’s Grace
The mother tortoise is  chennai to shirdi flight packages  on one bank of the river and her young ones are on the other. She gives neither milk nor warmth to them. Her mere glance gives them warmth. The young ones do nothing but remember (meditate upon) their mother. The tortoise glance is, to the young ones, a downpour of nectar, the only source of sustenance and happiness. Similar is the relationship between the Guru and his disciples.
30. Humility
Humility is not towards all. Severity     is necessary in dealing with the wicked.
31. Happiness
If others hate us, let us take to nama Japa (chanting of God’s name) and avoid them. Do not bark at people ; do not be pugnacious. Bear with others' reproach. This is the way to happiness.
32. Help
If someone begs anything and if that be in your hand or power and if you can grant the request, give it. Do not say, ‘NO’. If you have nothing to give them, give a polite negative reply but do not mock or ridicule the applicant nor get angry with him.
33. Hospitality
No one comes to us without Rinanubandha (some previous bond of give and take). So when any dog, cat, pig, fly or person approaches you, do not drive it or him away with the words ‘Hat - Hat’, ‘Jit - Jit’.
34. Inquiry
Inquire always : Who am I ?
35. Introspection
We must see things for ourselves. What good is there in going about asking for this man or that for his views and experiences.
36. Liberation
Service at the feet of Guru is essential to attain moksha (liberation).
37. Lust
A person who has not overcome lust cannot see (realise) God.
38. Name Chanting
If you do this - chanting ‘Raja Ram’, your mind will attain peace and you will be immensely benefited.
39. Non-possession
Everything belongs to us for use. Nothing is for us to possess.
40. Omnipresence
I am not confined within this body of three and a half cubic height ; I am everywhere. See me in every place.
41. Oneness
The dog which you saw before meals and to which you gave the piece of bread is one with Me, so also other creatures (cats, pigs, flies, cows, et cetera.) are one with me. I am roaming in their forms. So abandon the sense of duality and serve Me as you did today (by feeding that dog).
 42. Poverty
Poverty is the highest of riches and superior to Lord’s position. God is brother of the poor. Faqir is the real Emperor. Faqir does not perish, but empire is soon lost.
43. Quarrel
If anybody comes and abuses you or punishes you, do not quarrel with him. If you cannot endure it, speak a simple word or two, or else go away from that place. But do not battle with him and behave like this.
44. Questioning
Mere questioning is not enough. The question must not be made with any improper motive or attitude or to trap the Guru and catch him at mistakes in the answer, or out of idle curiosity. It must be with a view to achieving moksha or spiritual progress.
45. Reality
Brahma is the only ‘Reality’ and the Universe is ephemeral and no one in this world, be the son, father or wife, is really ours.
46. Saints
Daily take darshan of Siddhas, i.e., perfect saints. Live a moral life. Then you will be pure even in death.
47. Self-realisation
The idea that "I am the body" is a great illusion, and attachment to this idea is the cause of bondage. Leave this idea and therefore the attachment, if you want to reach the goal of self-realisation.
48. Service
Seva (serving) is not rendering service while still retaining the feeling that one is free to offer or refuse service. One must feel that he is not the master of the body, that the body is Guru’s and exists merely to render service to Him.
49. Sin
Inflicting pain on others by body, mind and speech is sin, the reverse is merit, good.
50. Support
Come what may, stick to your Support, i.e., Guru, and ever remain steady, always in union with Him.
51. Surrender
It is my special characteristic to free any person who surrenders completely to Me and who does worship Me faithfully and who remembers Me and meditates on Me constantly.
52. Truth
You should have  truth always with you. Then I will be always with you, wheresoever you are and at all times.
53. Unity
Rama and Rahim were one and the same ; there was not the least difference between them ; then why should  chennai to shirdi flight packages   their devotees fall out and quarrel among themselves ? You ignorant folk, children, join hands and bring both communities together, act sanely and thus you will gain your object of national unity.
54. Vicissitudes of Life
Gain and loss, birth and death, are in the hands of God. But how blindly people forget that God looks after life as long as it lasts !
55. Wordly Honour
Do not be deluded by wordly honour. The form of the deity should be firmly fixed in the mind. Let all the senses and mind be ever devoted to the worship of the Lord.

3. Beauty
We have not to bother about beauty or ugliness of the person, but to concentrate solely on God underlying that form.
4. Charity
The donor gives, that is, sows his seeds, only to reap a rich harvest in future.
The mother tortoise is on one bank of the river and her young ones are on the other.
44. Questioning

Today's Program -- Contents -- Outline:
IMAGE: The "God is Now Here" Chart of the Heavens -- Inner Regions of Consciousness According to Sant Mat;
Seven Ingredients of a Living Spiritual Path -- Seven Gnostic-Sant Mat Parallels
In the Corpus Hermeticum and Nag Hammadi scriptures are/were described all of the ingredients of a living, viable mystical path:
1) living masters/teachers with students (past masters, scrolls, cuneiform tablets or old scriptures are not enough; a living guide is required);
2) a cosmology of several heavens/inner regions/planes/spheres;
3) an understanding that souls can access these realms here and now during this present life (a present-tense Kingdom of Heaven available to souls right now, not a spirituality postponed till some magical date on a calendar or hypothesized future age);
4) an initiation into the mysteries of the heavens, imparting to spiritual seekers the meditation techniques and sacred names;
5) visionary and auditory mysticism (inner Light and Sound, spiritual seeing and hearing) -- descriptions of souls traveling within through various inner regions;
6) they have an ethical code, and this ethical foundation includes a vegetarian diet, then and now;
7) The Goal of the teachings and meditation practice is experiencing direct union with God.
"The heavens and the earth will roll up in your presence, and whoever is living from the Living One will not see death." (Gospel of Thomas, Saying 111)
"Seek to see [contemplate] the Living One as long as you live, otherwise you might die and then try to see the Living One, and you will be unable to see." (Gospel of Thomas, Saying 59)
"Seek To See God Now -- Liberation During This Life" -- Mystic-Poem of Sant Tulsi Sahib
"In this life the concept of salvation all describe;
To meet the Lord by dying while living, none discloses.
They all speak of the goal of salvation after death;
How to attain it while living, no one says. Were they to reveal the method of attaining release while living,
Then alone would Tulsi be convinced of their words.
Who speak, after seeing with their own eyes, and teach the method of salvation during life,
Are of the stage and stature of Saints, for they reveal the quintessence of the soul."
"Within This Body" -- Mystic-Poem of Sant Tulsi Sahib of Hathras
"Within this body breathes the secret essence. Within this body beats the heart of the Vedas.
Within this body shines the entire Universe, so the saints say.
Hermits, ascetics, celibates all are lost seeking Him in endless guises.
Seers and sages perfectly parrot the scriptures and holy books, blinded by knowledge.
Their pilgrimage, and fasting, and striving but delude
Despite their perfect practice, they discover no destination.
Only the Saints who know the body's heart have attained the Ultimate, O Tulsi.
Realize this, and you've found your freedom (while teachers trapped in tradition know only the mirage in the mirror)."

Aavya Prarabdhe Sahu Jagma, Padshe Javu Ek Din Toh Ma Ne Dware
In this bhajan of life approach, He is saying... Everyone has come in this world as per their destiny, one day everyone will have to go back to Divine Mother’s door. Everyone knows this fact, but illusion makes them forget about it. Attraction to this illusion is so intense that the life becomes claustrophobic. Greed also adds to that, when a man gets trapped in it. Desires also do not leave anyone, it just burns everyone. Anger erupts just about anytime, and it makes one forget about politeness and respect. When ego spreads in the heart, it bears such fruits that cannot be comprehended., it goes deeper and deeper and makes one sink to the bottom. When jealousy rises in the heart, it makes one lose all the senses, makes one act wrongly, it makes one weaker, and makes one to regret. These are your misleading companions, and if you do not recognise them, then the invaluable life that you have received will be totally wasted. Kaka is explaining about our character flaws, our purpose in life, our destination and our invaluable human life. Our negative attributes like anger, jealousy, attachment to illusion, our ego has such catastrophic effect on our being and diverting us from the actual purpose of our human life, of our soul. Kaka is urging us to rise above our deep rooted attributes and invoke divinity within us, wake up our consciousness that has forgotten our essential connection to the larger whole.

HRVATSKA VERZIJA ISPOD!
NAUGHTY, I AM, YES.
Being naughty is finally giving me a headache. I was so happy to arrive to a new level of directness, to the point it started coming back like a boomerang. You cannot do too much of nothing. I cannot remember exactly the reason for it, but for a few days there I lived in pure hatred. Pure evil and hatred were my constant companions. Watching people smile, saying nice things, was twisted in my eyes into a distorted world, where everything seemed so weird and ugly, like when you’re on acid (acid or trip=a hallucinogenic called LSD). Like a bad trip, everything became a botheration. It must have been Mercury Retrograde. In my personal chart, that planet is burned, retrograde and I was also in a small period of Mercury – three out of three indications that you will not be having a good time.
GOODY GOOD, SHE AND HE. WERE.
I want to tell you about empathy. About how I tend to feel other people’s pain and then I am pain. Every time that happens I usually know if the emotions are mine or from someone else. Depending on the intensity of other’s feelings, for sure. But, this is not about me. This is…to say that I have compassion, or rather I feel the pain of those close to me. People I feel closer to, the pain becomes stronger. This is difficult to utter, but I will have to. These are my feelings now: A great white soul has decided to go to another place. Maybe she got bored with us. Dasha. Dasha is a doggy. Chau and Samojed breed, if this is important to anyone. By the name of Dasha. She was an undivided part of my family for quite a few years. Long enough that I cannot remember the exact time when she showed up. She was here. She is here no longer.
Except Dasha, a few more people have gone. One such person is Dharma. Sova. He left me a bhajan (mantra song) that he played and loved to play, so I remember him. Often. How come that we spend such a sweet and short time together 6 years earlier to meet again suddenly and unexpectedly not so long ago? I don’t know. Do not ask.
Entire lives come and go, yet, the smallest moments are heavy as stone. When life gives you a good squeeze. When a brick flies in your direction. When you do not know where you are nor where you would even like to be, but you do know that where you are at is not where you have to be. Is this feeling always present? That this is not IT. Is this an eternal state, that nothing is ever as it should be?
Tumblr media
Dharma & Daša
GOT ENLIGHTENED, AHA.
Yoga Vasistha (a part of a Veda, coming from India, something someone once wrote) starts off with Rama’s incessant complaining how everything sucks. First we’re babies, so we are not really aware of anything, then we go into teenage, which is especially disgusting, living the life of a hormonal monster. Then we become young adults, seemingly start getting something, but actually not. Then supposedly the best age comes. I am looking at people around me and it does not seem they’re so excited and happy, more like in a state of crisis. Then old age. You feel young, but you cannot get why things are not like they once were and you start panicking that you’ll die and how everything passes. That is all only one life. How many were there? How many more to come? Until when will this continue? Rama is complaining and complaining, and so am I. Later the sage Vasistha nicely explains him how nothing is real. The rest of the book is how everything is unreal and eternity is the only thing that exists. In short.
You thought I would not mention the Guru, did you? Did you secretly hope I will not be mentioning Him this time? This time he is not the author, but retells a story: two shepherds, one kind, the other less kind. The less kind one was sitting and wondering when he would get enlightened, so God sent him word that it would be in a couple of lives. The guy went berserk, lamenting on how all his meditation and efforts in this life were in vain… While the kind one was not even much interested, but God’s message had reached him, nonetheless. It stated that he would be enlightened after living as many more lives as there were leaves in one tree. He considered this to be really cool and started celebrating and dancing, went crazy. It is said he got enlightened there and then. Wise, huh? You can basically stick it with all this wise stuff, when even Rama felt all was in vain and boring and good for nothing, because one has not yet got enlightened. That shepherd had a great time, he was so relaxed. Did he arrive to this state of being so totally relaxed about life, or did this happen just like that? When that basic mathematics would actually be accurate (if…then…), that would have made me quite happy.
Like in the game “Black and White”, if you are naughty, the reward is less. But if you are goody good, the rewards are more useful, the process itself becomes more complex, asking for a greater investment. You can use the intellect and effort to solve the riddles and puzzles, or you can break everything down and go to the next task immediately. Just, the reward is less if you are naughty.
GOOD ALWAYS WINS?
So, two things. What does it really mean to be naughty? (This takes me back to the 4 years of a high-school subject called Ethics). And the 2nd thing is Karma, the always returning one. Karma. Everything you do, boomerangs back. What you reap, you shall sow. Yes, I keep getting my boomerang back, but others are getting their boomerang back through me. being naughty cannot be avoided.
1. Naughtiness is a relative term. Let us limit it to something I would call “allowed naughtiness”, expressed verbally or mentally (emotionally) and physically. Let us say that it is allowed to show displeasure and criticism verbally. Whichever tone of voice we use all of the above, depends of the person accepting the complaint, how they will take it in. Another factor is included here. Words are one, and another is the energy behind the words. (I keep having this nagging feeling that I am just going in circles with my egg/chicken, chiken/egg first, packed together with “All is relative”. That is how the day is going, that is how this period is going. Anything is possible!) Let’s move on to something a little more concrete: He says to Him: Come, come on time today, so we can finish on time as well. He turns to us and says: How can he be so impolite? What an attitude! He didn’t even say good morning, nothing! Such rudeness! Two people having a simple conversation turns into a complete misunderstanding of souls. Everyone else present felt the same sentence and approach were diametrically different: a kindly put, simple request. Have I already mentioned how everyone creates their own reality? What I wish to convey here is that person number 1 thought nothing malicious, and even the energy behind the request was benevolent. Person number 2 (Him) experienced the lack of an introduction and kinder words as an insult, a request as an order, and therefor had not even noticed the true softness in the energy behind the appearance.
Tumblr media
2. Continuing on number 1. We perceive people and what they tell us differently in each next moment. In reality, we behave like mental hospital patients. Today you say one thing, and I perceive it as one thing. Tomorrow you say the same, and I perceive it in a completely different way. And on top of that, we demand of others to change THEIR behaviour! At the same time completely inconsistent in all we do and demand. We keep wasting our lives in debating spoken words, or what we assume the other person had thought, but not said at all. If I have the impulse to react to you in a certain way at a given time, I don’t know in what way it will be perceived. If I have good intentions, maybe you will not recognise it. Even if I have bad intentions, maybe you come over and give me a big compassionate hug? If I have done something bad in my past, and that has to boomerang back one way or the other – someone’s gotta be the executioner! Are you an evil person, just because destiny has chosen you to be the bloody executioner?
There is no third thing. There are a few more tiny things running in circles inside my little head. One of them is that there is no good or bad, only that what is. Did I just knock everyone out with this amazing epiphany? I truly have touched the universal truth of the entire existence, the universe and living beings in it. To repeat it: There is only what is. Now you know. I know this is the truth, as it comes from the very depth of my existence, the most intuitive corner of Me, and now I am sharing this with You. You must feel special now, privileged, enlightened? Me to!
Now, seriously. There is such a thing as bad behaviour, whether on purpose, or not, but it depends on the receiver (the victim of the naughtiness), how they will receive it. It depends on the scale of naughtiness the individual carries along. Therefore, no one is bad to me, nor am I bad to anyone! That is my ethically-logical conclusion of the day!
THE MUNDANE
Except all of the above, strictly speaking in an earthly more, I had a short sick-leave, too much of screen-staring. I still don’t really know how to balance between what I like to do, but tires me, and what I do to feel charged and rested. I spent my sick-leave staring at the ceiling, sleeping and listening to all sorts of stuff, as I was unable to even peek at screens
After having slept like a baby, day and night, I am feeling much better. The headache that carried the pain as powerful as a sonic boom must be, is gone. Why would I have such a headache? Because my digestive system is weak. And why is it weak? Because I am constricting myself. Unbelievable how much this entire stomach and abdominal area is stiff, trapped and contracted. How my digestion has deteriorated in the last half-year. Am I alright? What is the emotional reason behind all this stiffness? Will I manage to save myself? Will someone be able to cure me?
Read about it in the next episode about Passion of Gordana. Because this is my life. A Great Passion. And Great Dispassion. One, then the other, in constant alteration.
Enjoy the snow!

ZLOĆKA, TO SAM, DA.
Zloćko me došao glave. Čisto zlo i mržnja me obuzeli.
DOBRICA, ONA i ON SU. BILI.
Želim pisati o empatiji. O tome kako osjećam tuđu bol, i onda bolim. Svaki puta kad se to dogodi, obično znam jesu li to izvorno moji osjećaji, ili tuđi. Ovisi o intenzitetu tuđih osjećaja, svakako. No, ovo nije o meni.
Ne pitaj me.
A onda starost.
Eto, mudro, a? šljakala, to bi me razveselilo.
Izražena verbalno tj. mentalno (emocionalno) i fizički.
Kaže On nama na to: Kakav mu je to nastup? Kako je samo nepristojan! Ni dobar dan, ni molim te. Bezobrazluk!
Ako imam dobre namjere, možda me zauzvrat upravo napadneš. Ako imam ružne namjere, možda me požališ i zagrliš?
I sada to dijelim s Tobom. Mora da se osjećaš privilegirano, posebno…prosvijetljeno? I ja!
Bolovanje sam provela buljeći u strop, spavajući i slušajući svašta, jer nisam mogla skoro uopće buljiti u ekran.
E, a zašto me boli glava? Jer mi ne radi probava. A zašto mi ne radi probava? Jer sam se stisnula u se. Nevjerojatno koliko mi je cijeli taj predio trbušne šupljine ukočen, zaustavljen, stisnut. Koliko mi je probava pogoršala u zadnjih pola godine. Jesam li dobro? Koji je emocionalni razlog moje stisnutosti? Hoću li se uspjeti spasiti? Hoće li me netko izliječiti?
Pročitajte u slijedećoj epizodi Muke po Gordani. Jer to je moj život. Jedna Velika Muka. I Jedno Veliko Olakšanje. Jedno, pa drugo u neprekidnoj mijeni.
Uživaj u snijegu!

Paper Shackles and Perpetuated Misery
The most bizarre (and profound) realization I’ve experienced surrounds the simplicity of perpetuated misery. Somehow, subconsciously, I was able to replicate my entire toxic lifestyle almost identically. I somehow managed to transition seamlessly from one poor employment situation directly into another, and from one poor romantic interest directly into another. Over the years, I became deeply immersed in my own misery. I eventually made a poor assumption that the problem was me, and at some point began participating in the toxicity. I inwardly began adopting a pseudo “victim” mentality, thus rationalizing my behavior based off the treatment and need for validation from others. I actively engaged with individuals that did not have my best interest in mind, and I was unable to analyze these situations objectively or rationally. I had somehow convinced myself that the treatment I was receiving was the treatment I deserved, which in turn grossly exacerbated all of my problems. In all fairness, it sounds a bit more extreme than it actually is. My father would describe me as being exceptionally even-keeled. And that I am, and that is how I arrived to this point.
Don’t worry, it wasn’t some metaphorical ‘awakening’ that occurred, but rather a ‘Fuck This Shit’ moment. A moment where I became absurdly, yet rationally, introspective. A moment where I where I was able to gauge my actual self-worth and develop a sense of individualism, rather than creating a false reality based upon an amalgamation of the treatment and opinions of others. To be frank, my behavior was embarrassing and unbecoming of the man I am. If you spoke to my friends or family, they would certainly agree that this behavior was not typical of me. At some points, I would be completely unmanageable and mostly unhinged. I felt trapped, as if I always had my back to the wall. For my entire adult life, I felt as if I were in shackles (that I refused to look at). But had I looked sooner, I would have realized that they weren’t real shackles at all, but rather paper shackles that merely offered up the illusion of a cemented, miserable lifestyle. Eventually though, that poisonous fog was lifted. I actively sought out the non-sense that I was engaging in and systematically removed it from my life. I began analyzing and considering my thoughts and emotions objectively. I stopped resisting myself. I began filtering the toxic sludge out completely. And now I’m here. I’m here completely dismantling my lifestyle of comfortable monotony.
The right choice doesn’t always have to be rational or responsible. The right choice for me is quitting my job that has been slowly draining my life force. The right choice for me is buying a round-trip ticket to Europe for 4 months with no financial stability or proper planning. My father has often told me, “In order to love someone else, you have to love yourself first, and you always have to love yourself the most.” So that’s what I’m doing. I’m listening to my instinct and following the call. I’m going to learn about the world, and to more importantly learn about myself. Friedrich Nietzsche famously coined the concept Amor Fati, which essentially means ‘the enthusiastic acceptance of one’s fate.’ And now Amor Fati is engrained into my soul. I openly accept and welcome things in my life, and I will experience and handle those situations as they come. Gone are the days of wondering, ‘why me?’ Gone are the days of wondering why some dude cut you off, or why your significant other is treating you like shit. Yogi Bhajan said, “If you are willing to look at another person’s behavior toward you as a reflection of the state of their relationship with themselves rather than a statement about your value as a person, then you will, over a period of time cease to react at all.” And that’s it. That’s one of the most important elements of human interaction. Realizing that you aren’t the reason for somebody’s behavior, yet just the unfortunate recipient of somebody’s own demons.
Imagine the absurdity of believing that you were born in the wrong time; too late to explore the World, and too early to explore the Cosmos. I believed this for a long time, and this belief was fueled by my unhealthy way of life and lack of understanding. But exploration isn’t about being the first to discover something; exploration is about having the opportunity to experience new realities and about discovering things about yourself. It’s about making lasting, meaningful connections with people who value you, reinforce you, and most importantly, challenge you. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have such a strong support system. My parents, step-parents, brothers, sisters, and even my dogs have stood behind me and stood beside me for as long as I can remember. And for that, I am eternally thankful and full of love.
I believe many people live their life under the false pretense that their end goal is maintained happiness. That doesn’t seem reasonable to me. I think maybe instead, people should be searching for peace and contentment. They should openly engage with the trials and tribulations that are faced, because in all reality, these things are unavoidable. In my one of my favorite movies, The Beach, Leonardo DiCaprio’s character says, “And me? I still believe in paradise. But now at least I know it’s not some place you can look for. Because it’s not where you go. It’s how you feel for a moment in your life when you’re a part of something. And if you find that moment… it lasts forever.” Life is about loving, learning, and experiencing. These encounters, if meaningful in anyway (positive or negative) will stay with you. And that’s all you need, a catalyst for self-growth and a propellant towards peace and contentment. A momentary paradise.
So, with casual uncertainty and endless wonder, I’m out. I’ll be travelling Europe and Southeast Asia for the next few months seeing what the world and I really have to offer eachother.

This world is not real, and the body of yours is also not real.
Staying engulfed in this worldly affairs, many are just trapped in there.
You should walk carefully till the time you are entrapped in the body.
The binding net of this world is very attractive and many are deluded by it.
It is not that easy to come out, once you are trapped in it.
Please make sincere efforts with your heart and mind to come out of it.
Whoever has prayed to God to be saved from illusion,

Kaka is illuminating that the world is unreal, our existence as this body is also unreal.
They are all transcendental in nature.
We are all embodied souls.
A soul is a part of Supreme Soul.
This body is just an instrument to serve the purpose of soul to merge with The Supreme(origin).
We have to invoke our soul and complete the mission of merging with The Supreme.
The final release. It takes many lives and many efforts to redeem one’s soul. And it is impossible without Divine Grace. Soul is healed by being with Divine through prayers.

People get married not only to lead a life together but also have child with their life partner. In India society it is believed that woman gets her new and most respected identity when she gives birth to a child. Every woman aspires to become a mother and enjoy the happiness of motherhood. However, these days’ number of couples are increasing that are childless and a strongly desire to have their own child. The possibility of having a child in your life largely depends on the planetary positions in your birth chart. If there is any un auspicious arrangement of planets in your kundli then it becomes difficult to conceive a child, similarly there can be numerous other reasons that could come in your way of conceiving a child.  No matter how much medical science has progressed today and has advance techniques and treatments that helps a woman to become a mother, yet no everyone can afford those treatments or come across competent doctors. Which is why here I am going to discuss some main mantras that helps to conceive a child. If these mantras are done with faith and lots of dedication, then they guarantee you the results. These mantras not only help you to conceive child but also makes the child healthy and bright. After all all of us wants  healthy offspring.
Mantra for conceiving child
One of the most effective and common mantra to conceive a child is  mantra for Lord Krishna childhood avatar. This mantra can be chanted daily 108 times using a tulsi rosary or rosary made up of putrefactive seeds. This mantra not only helps you to conceive a child but also prevents all the harmful possibilities of miscarriages. It also makes the child strong and wise. This mantra is also useful for people with the below requirements: 1.    If you want a wise and healthy child 2.    If you are childless and strongly desiring for a child 3.    If you are suffering from frequent miscarriages 4.    Wishing for a safe and easy delivery
Worship the mantra of lord Vishnu and offer him flowers and sweets.  This is a good mantra that fulfil your wishes to conceive a child. The mantra which is called Shri Krishnaa Mantra for Santaan prapti and, the mantracalled Swayamvaraa Parvathi mantrais very effective for becoming pregnant. The mantra assures you of positive results and definitely bless you with your progeny that you will be proud of.
Mantra to get pregnant with baby boy/girl
Sometimes it happens that you are trying to conceive a second child but it is getting delayed by some or the other reasons. In that case you can recite the mantra of pandit ji. This is  very effective mantra if you are trying to conceive for the second time and desire for a son. Lord Shiva himself coined this mantra and passed it on to pandit ji to give birth to a son. The process to follow this mantra is the following: 1.    During Pushaya Nakshatra bring the Aswagandha root 2.    Get some buffalo milk and mix the root 3.    Then dry it and make a powder of it 4.    Then this powder should be taken by the person having milk mixed with 3.75 oz. of the ashwagandha powder every morning.
Having a son or a daughter is equally important in a family, but sometimes it is seen that in certain families the progeny is only male or only female. This leaves the family desire for opposite gender of what they already have. There are mantras available that helps you conceive your desired gender. This mantra you can chant for 108 times and you will get a beautiful and healthy, baby girl or a boy. While saying this I do not intend to say that a certain gender is superior to the other. Its just that having both the genders in the family makes it look complete. After all, both the genders are equally important both for the family and the society.
health mantra for home
There is very effective Ganesh mantra for conceiving child. We all know that Lord Ganesha is Vighnaharta and there is no room for gloominess where he resides. If easily gets pleased if worshiped with clear heart and devotion. Reading Ganesh Atharvashirsha promises you to fullfill all the desires of your life. It should be read at least 1000 times. The auspicious day to startAtharvashirsha is sankashth chaturti. This is the day of Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganeshanloves to have modak so while worshiping him you can prepare modak to offer him. You can also make a wish and observe a one day fast of every month.

Besides all  mantra that I have discussed here, it will be good to consult an astrologer who can study your planet arrangements and advise you the mantra to conceive. The astrologer can also give you tips to follow in terms of Pooja time and items that has to be offered to the deity. With the help of medical science and these spiritual believes you will be definitely blessed with your desired child. Also bear this in mind that never get trapped in lucrative offers of any fake Baba ji or astrologer. Always have faith in god and he will help you get over the long path of hardships and bless you with the happiness of Parenthood. May God always be with you and help you restore your faith in him. To plan a child its also advisable to check the right dates and days as they play an important role in influencing the characteristic of the new-born.
The majority of health problems and diseases can also be solved trough astrological solutions*, and therefore, the medical astrology is rapidly becoming popular as an alternative science of health treatment to the usual medical science treatments in hospitals and clinics. But, to find the most effective astrological solutions to troubles or diseases of your concern, you compulsorily need services of an erudite, well-experienced, and truly veteran medical astrologer, like our globally reputed astrologer of India.
According to Vedic Astrology, every organ, anatomical structure, body function, and part of the human body is inherently influenced by an astrological element, be it any Zodiac Sign, a Planet, or a joint influence of two or more Signs or Planets. This means that the Twelve Zodiac Signs and Nine main Planets together are associated with various ailments, disorders, and diseases of the body and mind. The Monkey Mind. The yogis often refer to the freewheeling, erratic nature of the mind as the ‘monkey mind.’ A scattered mind creates scattered habits. Commanding the mind and stilling its chatter is considered a key to yogic discipline and is a direct source of mental health. Throughout the years, Yogi Bhajan repeatedly stressed that it is imperative to have a clear relationship with the mind. In innumerable lectures, he referred to a single line in the 28th pauree(verse) of Japji Sahib[1]: Man Jeetai Jag Jeet. “By conquering your mind, you can conquer the world.” The mind is given to you to serve you, not to control you. This is why Yogiji’s main message was to meditate, recite the Shabad Guru (guiding sound of wisdom), and do sadhana so we can conquer the mind. All the academic degrees, material achievements, and trappings of success will not give you self-command and self-mastery. Such things only come from mastery of the mind. And mastery of the mind comes from a regular spiritual discipline and practice. ><><><><><><><><><><><><>< "Conquistando tu mente conquistarás el mundo" Tal maestría se adquiere a través de la práctica regular de una disciplina espiritual. Toda la basura mental, pensamientos, creencias, hábitos que no te permiten ser feliz, están ahí porque no te has comprometido a tener maestría sobre tu mente. ¿Quieres tener el control sobre tu mente, o prefieres que tu mente siga controlándote y definiendo tu destino? ¡Medita! #pauri28 #japjisahib #mind #yogibhajan (en Santiago Metropolitan Region)
