I absolutely adore your taz amnesty character designs, they’re so fresh and yet so familiar?? One look slammed me back into my old amnesty obsession hard enough my teeth are still rattling, it’s like magic. My only regret is that it’s too late to binge the whole show by Halloween ;-; thank u so much for sharing your art, it is going to consume me.

Regarding Len's age, I think it's always supposed to have been a lifetime of hard living -- lots of drinking, some smoking, and (as per his Secret Files bio, written by Johns) he dabbled in drugs when he was younger.  Plus, of course, the balding doesn't help the perception of age.  It is true that women don't really get to age in comics until they become Officially Old, but this art actually does make Lisa look middle-aged without mocking her for it, and I appreciate that.  I'm not a fan of that Flash annual #4 about an AU future which clearly intended some of the aged Rogues to look laughably pathetic, including her.

I share the concern about Digger, who's so often comic relief at the best of times and was definitely mocked for aging poorly in Identity Crisis.  It'd be a nice twist if he's one of the Rogues who's doing better than some of the others.

I’ve always really liked that this blog talks about character’s flaws with as much love and detail as their strengths. Not to tear them down or explain why X character should be shunned by society (except maybe Jet lmao), but just to get the whole picture of them. It’s refreshing in the face of a lot of wider fandom content.

ppl on this website rly think that if you point out a character’s flaws that means u hate them, when in actuality, it is impossible to truly appreciate a character without acknowledging what gives them depth + makes them human. every character (with the exception of zhao, who’s just irredeemably loathsome) has very understandable motivations for their actions, including iroh, hama, and even jet. except jet also has a terrible personality and bad vibes, which is truly inexcusable. 

#but yeah we love flaws!!! #good flaws = good writing!!!!! #and yeah the only characters i truly do not find interesting at all are jet zhao and aunt wu and thats only bc they all have The Worst Vibe #obviously wu isnt a murderer but she is. annoying #lol #asks #bicherrim

Headcanons for @bicherrim, based on the concept "Something about Antonio’s gift? His powers may be listed as “talks to animals”, but considering every animal in Encanto essentially shows up to swear fealty to him the moment he gets his gift, it might be something more than that."

Antonio, of course, is five and has no concept of anything past "oh cool, animals are talking to me! :D" The animals are a bit more like "oh cool, someone who can tell the humans stuff for us and owns a luxurious jungle paradise that we can all live in safe from the elements/getting eaten! :D" The animals are all about that. Although at the same time, the animals are also far more interested in Antonio than in any other humans no matter what.

Basically any animal is more interested in Antonio than any other human, barring special cases where the human of interest has spent a lot of time forming a bond with them, i.e. Luisa making sure the donkeys don't get lost/hurt or Bruno taking care of the rats in the walls (the rats absolutely sell out Bruno's entire lack of self-care to Antonio, of course. ABSOLUTELY they do). But animals are naturally drawn to Antonio and he is similarly drawn to them, and the vast majority of them reflexively like and trust him. This is probably a facet of his power but not one he's actually aware of, and since he feels similarly about them it probably won't be occurring to him, at least not anytime soon.

Seriously, even the jaguar instantly likes and listens to him. That MIGHT just be the jaguar going "this is an optimal survival strategy in a place full of humans" but chances of it at least PARTIALLY being "Antonio puts off an aura of trustworthiness and authority that animals can sense" are also pretty high. Probably said aura wouldn't work if he had a different personality, but since he DOES have his personality, that's how it works.

The animals really will sell out anyone for Antonio. Sometimes they're selling them out for their own GOOD (Luisa, put down those donkeys and TAKE THE DANG COCONUT DRINK), but they have no desire or inclination to keep things from him or lie to him. They trust him implicitly and believe he's Doing His Best at pretty much all times.

Spontaneously vegetarian-possibly-vegan Antonio is GO. Also, no one is going to be preparing ANY meat dishes ANYWHERE near him anytime soon. Technically he's like, "well, the jaguar needs to eat meat too so I get it" but also, like . . . he's five. He's very much five.

errr I don’t follow that many but @why-i-love-comics is good if you want to see all the new comics as they come out and find more good ones to read (an essential follow imo) and then @dc-is-gay posts a lot of good content, mostly reblogs but also A+ BatFlash shipper and finally @bicherrim and @randomdinomaiz are multifandom blogs and pretty cool if any of their fandoms strike your fancy

Honestly I only follow around 20 people and most of them don’t update regularly adnsfsfd
