Solomon who gives off raw humanity after you actually get to know him. He's just a lovesick, scarily powerful, fool. He'll sit there for hours and ramble about magic and TSL and pacts and his work to you if you let him. Ask him about his star obsession, urge him to tell you stories about his travels and findings and adventures. But please, please remember that he's more than just some immortal sorcerer capable of great things, hold him from time to time, sit and just exist with him, please.
Let Solomon be human with you. He's so used to carrying the weight of humanity on his shoulders, sometimes he forgets he's only human, too. He might be fun and he might be strong and he might be wise, but it's been too long since he's had someone hold his hand and glide their thumb over his knuckles.
Please let him ramble about the rain or the way trees creak or the way stars twinkle like they're laughing. Please let him take you to different places and get excited with you over things he's purposefully never sought the answer to in order to keep a part of himself curious. Please sit with him in the silence of each other and just let him let his guard down.
Solomon who wants to be human with you. Solomon who is human with you.

I like to imagine that while yes, demons and angels can get injured, they have no idea what sickness is. So one day when you wake up really sick, they think you're cursed.
They think it's an awfully strong curse, actually, because they can't even pinpoint what it is or any trace of magic, but they can just feel something is there and it's wrong and not normal and that you're not okay.
Maybe at first the brothers try and not tell anyone since they think they can solve it without help, but after the third day and no progress and you laying in bed, unable to eat, sweating, vomiting, sneezing, and pale, they decide to suck it up and bring you to the castle.
Another personal favorite idea of mine is that due to the lack of sun, the Devildom is absolutely freezing most of the time, so it's harder to recover if you fall ill.
Upon reaching the castle and explaining, Diavolo assigns Barbatos to help care for you. When even that doesn't work as well as it should and finding the right spell to work is hard, they turn to Purgatory Hall to help.
Of course, the angels are just as confused. Why are you not getting better? Why are you only getting worse?
It's not until, through gasps of air after laughing so hard when he realizes what's wrong, that they get an explanation. That this is something called illness and that you're not getting better because it's too cold.
So he's asked to curse you, pride thrown aside. When he actually sees you, though... He frowns, immediately switching into concern and doing things like checking your temperature, getting you water, trying (and getting kicked out for even thinking of the kitchen) to make you soup, and so on. Simple things to get you going.
When asked why he's not just healing you, the explanation boils down to how complex diseases can be and how he'd have to find the exact strand of whatever you have to get a spell ready.
So, instead, you're kept in the castle with a heating spell in the room and the utmost pampering and divine of services to help.
Simeon and Luke and Barbatos make you gentle foods to help your stomach. Lucifer and Diavolo and Solomon and Mephistopheles and Raphael come to check on you. Asmodeus and Satan come to help make sure you're bathed and your clothes are changed, that you truly are getting better. Mammon and Leviathan and Beelzebub and Belphegor are the best conversation, company, and entertainment you have. Thirteen makes sure that things are okay by making sure your candle is still lit, maybe a little dim, but lit nonetheless.
And when you do finally get better, you don't miss the opportunity to go out of your way and thank them all individually.

TWST x OM! self-sware AUs where you end up in possession of a cursed phone you found at a pawn shop that looked in really good condition, but any game you get on it comes to life.
You're not really a huge gamer, especially due to having such a busy personal life, so you only got two games that you thought would be fun for the moments your social battery was down but you still craved an adventure or excitement. You take your friend's advice and get two different games: Twisted Wonderland and Obey Me! Shall We Date?
Things start off nice and simple, and after a while daily login rewards start to get better and better for both games, even if it goes unnoticed your friends don't get anything nearly as good as you have despite having played longer.
You begin to figure the games are just generous with certain things, after getting a rather impressive amount of gifts after certain events. Had it not been for one minor detail, you wouldn't have ever noticed anything at all off about the games.
The way your friends complain about certain in-game storylines or characters.
What do you mean that Belphegor's story after lesson 16 needed more growth? That it felt rushed into forgiveness? Was 7 lessons of tension resulting into a final thought out apology not at all cared about?
And Grim? What about Grim? Why are your friends so frustrated that he's supposedly so annoying at times? Did the several late night conversations throughout the books slowly revealing his abandonment issues and need to feel important to not be abandoned mean nothing to them?
And what's this about characters not having a live chatting feature? Or onto having 2 or 3 options for dialogue all leading to the same outcome?

You can't tell me Solomon hasn't slipped up and was thought to be insane. Warning for a lot of talk about alcohol and being drunk, super short ✌
★—–-
"Oh! I wasn't aware I lived with someone diagnosed with clinical insanity!"
"Hey, hey, come on now— it was an accident, I was drunk! Can you blame a drunk man for rambling about magic?"
"No," MC's lips pursed, "But I can blame you for doubling down about it the next day. You know, when you weren't inebriated."
Solomon, poor, poor Solomon, had no defense to such a fact. Had he known at the time he'd be labeled insane, he would've never spewed on about immortality, magic, or demonic pacts. Hell, he wouldn't have touched the drink he had if he was aware of how much alcohol content was in it.
Of course, the diagnosis was a combination of being around shitty people and stigmatization at the time. The 40s and 50s weren't known for their openness to anything other than psychopathy or insanity in most places.
"You wound me. Is this how you treat me? Your beloved househusband?"
MC snorted.
"Insane househusband. Get it correct."
Solomon gave a disgruntled sound followed up by a long, clearly drawn out sigh as he hid a smile.
"Insane househusband. Sorry."

Solomon the typa guy to be nothing but goofy when you actually get to know him. The typa fella to turn around in a circle when he forgets what he was about to do. The typa dude to have at one point answered the phone like "'ello? 😀" unironically. Solomon the kinda goober to drop some serious ass lore about himself so casually he forgets not everyone is as old as he is and has experienced the unexplainable as much as he has

Hnnnnn sleep deprived concept idea for Obey Me MC who can see and talk with spirits (spoilers for lesson 16)
MC who can see and communicate with spirits. Not ghosts, SPIRITS, stuff that even demons and angels aren't able to see and can only be aware that someone is there, but not who or anything about them
It starts with a figure out the corner of their eye, some faint whispers, quiet steps. It escalates when one night they wander into the music room, hearing quiet humming late at night that nobody else seemed to notice before retiring for bed
They walk in and see a woman with red hair and the two get to talking after MC apologizes for sneaking after her, the spirit laughing and excusing the apology
This culminates into nightly meetings, the brothers growing suspicious. The spirit never tells her name
When Belphegor is let out from the attic, og!MC is killed, the first faces that the new MC brought from another timeline sees is Barbatos, Lilith, and a spirit that looks exactly like them
When it's revealed they're Lilith's descendant and all hell breaks loose, they freeze, head turning slowly to where the spirit of this timeline's MC and the red headed ghost stood to the side
"Lilith..?" They'd murmur under their breath, just barely heard by themselves, let alone anyone else with the chaos around them
The spirit, a woman named Lilith, simply laughs that infectious thing she did the day they first met and puts a finger to her lips with a hum

A Demon's Guide to Anthropology 1
It baffles me that I haven't seen any of something like this much, at least on Tumblr, so I'm making a mini 5 part series on Mammon (possibly others if someone wants me to) reacting to different human habits and such!
Please don't rush me on this series, though, I'm very busy with both school and providing for my family and will have irregular posting schedules :(
Part 1: RAIN
Word count: 636
Tags: Mammon's POV, use of 'MC' and they/them pronouns, more focused on Mammon's reaction to humans being able to smell rain, brief cursing and brief blood mention, rushed!!
★ ——— —— —
Humans were weird, it was a bit of common knowledge between the realms.
Michael was an asshole, Diavolo laughs a lot, and humans were strange. It was a fact at this rate, anyone— demon, angel, reaper, witch, or otherwise can tell you that much.
Mammon supposes he shouldn't have forgotten it, and honestly he didn't, in the beginning he just didn't care enough to take much note of it, considering MC was still settling down and that shady sorcerer didn't live under the same roof as him.
It took a week for the first thing to be noticed by him. Four days after the pact with MC was made, with not a cloud in the sky, they both were sat in the living room tying their shoes to head off to R.A.D.
Something important to note, Mammon is certain, is that demons had impressive noses.
Sure, not 'smell you from a thousand miles away' type noses, but sniffing out pheromones, blood, and a person's scent was common. Easy, natural.
Even angels were rather impressive with their noses, and honestly most creatures were. Well, he thought it was most creatures, at least. Humans didn't seem to so easily smell these types of things. Though he hadn't been around humans for far too long, that was something he could easily remember.
"C'mon," MC reminded Mammon, standing up.
"We'll be late unless you hurry up."
"Yeah, yeah, 'm comin'," Mammon merely grumbled in response, rolling his eyes and standing up and following the human out.
They make it to the door, opening it, and Mammon squirming his way past MC to step out first. MC, on the other hand, pauses once they're stepped out, eyes narrowed. Of course, Mammon doesn't notice at first as he begins walking.
"Wait," they say, causing Mammon to groan and turn around, looking at them.
"It's gonna rain soon."
Mammon raises a disbelieving eyebrow, deadpan expression turning to the clear sky, then back to the human he accompanied.
"Uh huh. What makes ya say that?"
MC's eyes narrow further.
"I smell it."
It's quiet for a moment, then another, then another, before Mammon bursts into laughter. The kind that leaves anyone heaving and clutching their stomach, knees bent and tears filling your eyes.
"I'm serious!" MC's voice is a little closer, and Mammon looks up to see them holding an umbrella, enchanted to withstand most kinds of dangerous Devildom weather.
Mammon laughs again when he sees them with the umbrella, reminded of the absurdity of such a situation.
A human smelling the weather? Smelling the rain? He couldn't help the cackling that he devolved into, howling away at the humor of such an outlandish claim.
MC whacked him over the head with the umbrella, and though it didn't hurt, he still jokingly replied with an 'ow' before standing on shaking knees. He glared playfully, and the mortal stuck their tongue out with a glare in response.
Heading to R.A.D., the topic of MC supposedly smelling rain was dropped, the two parting to their separate classes, and Mammon eventually forgetting all about it thanks to being entangled with his brothers, witches demanding debts be paid, and complaints being had about his kleptomania.
When he met up with MC for lunch, he noticed them shooting a knowing glance towards Solomon, the other human exchange student, who also coincidentally had an umbrella. It was bizarre, and the way that the occasional student glanced at them made it clear nobody else understood why the humans needed umbrellas.
Until school ended and many people were burdened with the troubles of rain, both humans having predicted the occurrence.
Mammon couldn't wrap his head around it, but after three more instances of this occurring, made sure not to underestimate the humans and their weather-predicting snouts.

A Demon's Guide to Anthropology 2
Part 2: sunlight
Word count: 655
Tags: use of 'MC' and they/them pronouns, brief description of a pill bottle and vitamins, rushed and short, fluff
★ ——— —— —
MC going back to the human world periodically over weekends and denying staying in the Devildom over breaks despite claiming they wanted to confused Mammon.
It had been explained to him a thousand times, and yet he'd seem to forget just as soon as it was said. He simply didn't understand.
One one particular return to the human world, Mammon went straight to the source of all his confusion, sat down on the bed, propped his elbows on his knees, and stared with a seriousness one would only see in his gaze at a casino.
The human who brought such emotion from him murmured to themself as they packed a small bag about needing to keep a bag ready to stunt this constant packing and unpacking only a few things, and Mammon stayed silent in thought.
When MC stood, bag slung over a shoulder, Mammon pounced like a cat.
"So.." He drew it out nice and slow, swing casual despite his body language showing he clearly wasn't being such a thing.
"Why do ya need to go back so much?"
MC blinked and raised a brow, turning to look at the greedy demon. A flash of amusement formed in their eyes, a companion to their confusion.
"Didn't Lucifer explain this to you, like, a billion times?"
Mammon scoffed and grumbled, mumbling under his breath about the question and the realities of it before giving his response.
"It's not my fault! I-I'm just curious, but it's not like I care or somethin'! You're just a human why can't I ask? You're in my care, so just cough it up you-!"
He cut himself off when he heard laughing coming from above, glancing up and watching the object of his torment wheeze and laugh, covering their mouth to poorly hide the humor they felt.
"I-I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's just.. I need to go back, it's not that I want to. Humans can't survive without sunlight," they explained.
This only brought more questions than answers, along with a sense of growing urgent dread.
"You what?"
"Yeah, humans need sunlight to survive. Why do you think I take these?" MC held up a small bottle labeled with their name on top. Inside of it was a few clear capsules. Vitamins, Mammon is quick to put a name to them.
"W-Well, I just thought- I just-" He huffed and crossed his arms, pouting like a spoiled child denied their wants.
"Without sunlight humans die, so I take these to sustain myself each day here, and go back to the human world with Solomon whenever we can."
It all made sense partially, but Mammon knows truthfully it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense even with a dumbed down human anatomy lesson. This once, he conceded and allowed himself to not fully understand, despite his sin making him internally scream for answers on his human's health.
"But," MC began again, causing the sulking demon to perk up and look at them from where he sat on the bed and where they stood. "If you're good next week, I'll ask Lucifer and Lord Diavolo if you can come next time? Just don't tell anyone, I don't want the others knowing I'm only taking you."
MC knew just the right answer to cheer the avatar of, and immediately to hide his rebounded embarrassment, Mammon turned his head to the side and scoffed, arms crossed.
"You think I can't last a week? I'll show ya that I can last a month!"
The humans merely shook their head and sighed, readjusting the hold on their bag, and giving a small smile.
"Sure thing, Mammon. And pigs can fly."
The demon gave a squawk once he realized what that meant, the human beginning to leave as they laughed.
"HEY!"

A Demon's Guide to Anthropology
part: 3
Word count: 657
Tags: use of 'MC's and they/them pronouns, sensory sensitivity on MC's end, written to be seen as sensory processing disorder, written based on my experience with it but I tried to change it to be broader
Word: "sensory"
Beel's time to shine :], also this is genuinely such bad writing I'm sorry, gonna come back and edit this to be better some day lol
★• ——— –– -
Beelzebub is a lot more perceptive than people like to give him credit for. With brothers like his and being an athlete, he has to be in order to know what's going on.
Which is why it doesn't take him long to notice the way that MC shies away from a lot of foods, clothes, and objects. Completely random to the common eye, but Beelzebub is most concerned with the food issue.
It's not like MC doesn't eat, not at all, they're healthy and never skin out on a good, fresh meal, but they're always so odd with what they eat.
Meats are off the table most of the time, which isn't all that bad. A lot of people just don't like meat. But some drinks and a good few veggies and fruits added onto that is what confuses him.
Maybe MC was just a picky eater, which again is fine, Devildom foods are weird to get used to, but it also seemed prevalent in human foods, too. To Beel, it seemed completely random, from a few spicy foods to a few sweets and sours, in his eyes he couldn't find a common connection.
So with a breath, he knocked on MC's door and entered when he was allowed.
Beelzebub wasn't normally so nervous or anxious, but he knew human bodies were delicate and didn't want MC and their odd aversions to certain objects or foods to somehow leave a bad mark.
"MC," he began after entering and shutting the door. The human sat in their bed with their D.D.D. in hand, "I have a question."
Intruiged and curious as always, MC responds.
"What's up, Beel? Something wrong?"
"Are you okay?" MC blinks, a little caught off guard at the vague question. The giant demon stood above them, looking down and vaguely reminding the human of a large dog looking at a toy it was attached to.
"Uh- elaborate?"
"You don't eat some stuff and you don't touch some things."
To their credit, MC understood after a moment, and they tried not to seem rude by the way they gave a laugh and smile, shaking their head.
"Do you mean how I don't like touching certain fabrics or eating certain foods?" The ginger nodded at the question.
"That's kinda common for humans," MC explained, "It's called sensory sensitivity. Some textures feel really bad to touch or to eat, so I tend to avoid them. Nothing is wrong with me, I promise."
Beelzebub nodded in solemn understanding, sitting beside the mortal on the rather Plush and comfortable bedding. In his hands was a small box of cookies he knew they favored a lot that he'd taken with him. It took everything in Beelzebub's power not to tear the box open and have at the cookies himself.
"So you can't have some foods or wear some things because they feel weird?"
MC nodded, though they didn't seem very down about it. To them, it was simply another day like any other, knowledge as common as grass is green and Luke despises anything demonic.
To Beelzebub, though, it solidified his resolve as he passed the now opened box of cookies over, one in hand and another in his mouth.
"What food can you not have? I'll eat them for you."
The serious expression to the previous words caused another laugh to bubble out of MC, and they took their own cookie from the box.
"It's hard to explain, but I'll pass you any whenever they come with a meal I have. Deal?"
Beelzebub nodded and put a hand on MC's head (the demon struggled sometimes with such casual affection and touch with most people, but had recently picked up on simply resting a hand on the mortal's head and leaving it there for a minute), and after a few moments a comfortable silence and sharing cookies, he spoke once more.
"Hell's Kitchen?"
"Hell's Kitchen."

You sigh, a hand running through your hair and bent over the table. A few papers and books were scattered about, and you give a whine bleeding out of the sigh.
"Okay, that's it!" He huffs, crossing his arms and meaning back.
"You're gettin' all stuffy again. You start to get stressed, you get noisy, then you start to cry because you're pushing yourself. Sound 'bout right?"
Before you can open your mouth to reply, blinking in surprise, he goes on.
"It's hard, 'kay? It's hard and it sucks and nobody likes it. But you've gotta. But ya know what?"
Weakly, you smile sheepishly and ask— "What?"
He smirks. "You don't gotta be the best at it or get everything right. You'll do fine, have you seen your other grades? Just breathe and calm down or whatever. Doodle if ya have to."
You nod and bite your lip, taking a deep breath.
"You're right. Thank you."
"Anytime."
Silence envelopes the dining hall until a single question is parted from your lips.
".. Can we cuddle?"
"I thought you'd never ask."

Warning: scared reaction to a hallucination, confirmed hallucination, no mention of what it is, character up to interpretation
★—–-
It's late, but you're quivering, sat up right and staring at the side of the bed with wide eyes and a racing heart.
He knows your heart is racing. He can hear it. He can feel it.
Feel it in the way your body is tense and you look unresponsive, dazed and far off. Feel it in the way you reach a shaky hand to him to shake him, not realizing he's awake now, too.
"Check it," you breathe out, "Please."
So, he gets up, feet touching the ground, and walking to your side of the bed.
This isn't the first time it's happened, but each time he hopes it's the last. For your sake.
Carefully, he steps directly into where you were staring at, and you blink for a moment. Confused. Reality is quick to crash down, though, and the relief is obvious on your face.
"Hallucination," he assures. You nod with a wavering sigh.
"Hallucination," you say back.
He walks around the side of the bed again, sliding in and leaning over you, where he kisses you with a soft hum. When he pulls away, you smile, though it's rigid.
"Thank you."
"Any time, little lamb."

Obey Me zombie apocalypse AU except everyone is human and nobody dies because I'm not good at writing character death. Less focused on MC/you and more about world building and random ideas
Literally did this in class on a time limit so it's not edited </3
★•—–-
"Demons" and "angels" aren't real, they're just the names of the two most major survivor groups for good reason; demons are ruthless and unforgiving, rough on the outside and ridged on the edges towards outsiders. Generally it's very hard to join their group, if not flat out impossible past a certain point.
Angels on the other hand, while just as hard to become, tend to be kinder to people not in their group. They're more willing to house someone they can see the good intentions of, more willing to help someone out of a sticky situation with no strings attached.
Of course, "reapers" exist, but they're less of a group and more of a web of mercenaries willing to take long lasting missions to hunt down other survivors or clean out large zombie infested areas on their own.
Demons:
A town around the beginning of the apocalypse had been overtaken by them, more specifically, by Diavolo's father and made into a highly fortified base with the help of many people over the course of a long period of time. Eventually one day he went missing on a serious hunt and everything was left to his son. The city was named Devildom to play into the whole demon theme going on.
Leader + second in command: Diavolo, Barbatos
Overseers: Lucifer (general manager), Mammon (scavenging + look out), Leviathan (weaponry/arsenal), Satan (archivist), Asmodeus (hygiene), Beelzebub (food storage + production), Belphegor (defense/strategist)
Honorable mention: Mephistopheles
Role meanings:
General management — does whatever is needed, helps keep other overseers on track and in line, reports weekly agenda and past week's events directly to Diavolo
Scavenger + look out — organizes groups to go out scavenging for material that cannot otherwise be grown or made, also keeps people on the lookout around Devildom in case of any hoards in the area or survivors with bad intentions
Weaponry/arsenal — keeps track of the creation and distribution of weapons, including but not limited to things such as guns, explosives, melee, and chemical warfare
Archivist — writes down and keeps a library of information regarding the apocalypse, types for zombies, people in the Devildom, and any important information on other survivor groups and natural phenomenon
Hygienist — creates and distributes items of hygienic need, such as clothes, soap, feminine products, razors, and helps to manage the clean water
Food storage and production — despite the name, the role keeps track of rations and oversees the agricultural parts for the town
Defense/strategist — keeps a general eye on the surrounding area and infrastructure of the Devildom in the event of an emergency, and helps plot out the best means of evacuation and the best places for guards
Ages of lest to youngest:
Barbatos — 33
Lucifer — 30
Diavolo — 29
Mephistopheles — 28
Mammon — 26
Leviathan — 24
Asmodeus — 22
Beelzebub & Belphegor — 20
Satan — 17
Angels:
The upper class part of a city was overtaken sometime around when the Devildom was created, nicknamed Celeste, it mainly consists of several tall buildings, the lower levels left clean but vacant as most angels are in the higher floors to allow for ensured safety during the night. It was created by a man named Father, who nowadays is very rarely seen and uses Michael to speak to his followers.
Leader + second in command: Father, Michael
Known overseers and honorable mentions: Simeon (ex overseer, what his job was remains unknown), Luke (a young angel), Raphael (overseer for defense/strategy)
Role meanings:
Defense/strategy — keeps a general eye on surrounding area and infrastructure of Celeste in the event of an emergency, helps to plot out the best means of evacuation, often getting his hands dirty for the safety of other angels
Ages oldest to youngest:
Father — unknown, last seen appearing to be in his kid 60s 8 years ago
Michael — 33
Simeon — 30
Raphael — 23
Luke — 10
Simeon nowadays bounces from job to job as needed, but typically is seen helping with managing things on a lesser level with Luke planted right by his side. It's unknown if Luke is biologically related to Simeon, however, they treat each other as father and son.
Reapers and honorable mentions:
Reapers are less of a group and more an interconnected web of people, labeled based on their ability to survive with a ruthlessness very few could muster. Many still count to the dies that other survivors meant safety, that despite the ten years since the start of the apocalypse, that a cure could be made. Reapers were typically the first to suck up the situation and accept that humanity was no longer an option.
While not a reaper, Solomon was a known menace among survivors. He was a force to be reckoned with, and not many were very fond of the man despite him having extensive knowledge on so many things and having connections to the reapers, angels, demons, and many other survivor groups.
MC is a survivor with little known about their last, though their reputation is high after managing to befriend several different groups of survivors, including demons, angels, and reapers.
Ages oldest to youngest:
Thirteen — 27
Solomon — 25
MC — unknown, wears a constant goat skull as a mask and rarely speaks, speculation on their age ranges and very few know how old they truly are
