Self Promo!
Hello everyone!!! I’m a somewhat new to tumblr user and a new OC blog for the My Hero Academia fandom. While I’m new to the roleplaying community here, I have been roleplaying for at least 7 or 8 years. I took a long break once I entered college, but I still can write like the best of them(At least I think so...). Mun is in college and is 18+ and loves detailed paragraph roleplays.
ANYWAYS I’m am interested in roleplaying with other OCs and Canon characters! I really hope you all give me a chance and take good care of me! If interested at all, please like or reblog. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Okay yeah, I’m tired and salty and have seen one too many posts about how awful and horrible and disgusting and irredeemable a 15yo fictional character is for being a 15yo boy. So unpopular opinion under the cut:
If me thinking that a 15 year old boy -- one of a dime a dozen, at least two in very single goddamn anime ever Goofy Pervert Character -- is not that bad and doesn’t deserve to die or be expelled from school makes me an awful apologist, then so fucking be it.
There are ‘Goofy Pervert Characters’ in literally every anime I have ever seen. It’s the one of the most common anime tropes in existence. And out of every single one of them -- including Naruto Goddamn Uzumaki himself, who is SO MUCH FUCKING WORSE THAN THIS CHARACTER -- this character is the only one I’ve ever seen reviled as much as this.
And this is ignoring the fact that
He is a good student! He made it into the top class of the top school in the country! He’s not a fucking idiot!
He’s clever and resourceful and he may be a coward, but when push comes to shove he has his moments and he’ll throw down with the rest of the class even if his Quirk isn’t the most useful.
SEE: THE CAVALRY BATTLE
ALSO SEE: The sheer balls it took to stand up to a teacher and go “okay, my pervyness will be an asset, i’m going to actively get her to go full sadist on me and take the hit so we can win this test”.
That literally no one, ever, not once, takes his shit. He is not enabled, he is not brushed off, no one treats it as LOL HOW CUTE, no one ignores his behavior, no one justifies his behavior. He is stopped and shut up every time he says something pervy or tries to peep.
In fact, see: when he does his internship, he tries to pull a pervert....and then is treated like a servant the entire time, and not for one second enabled and allowed to gawp at the Lady.
NO ONE HATES HIM. HE HAS FRIENDS IN THE CLASS. HE IS LIKED AND HAS FRIENDS. HE HANGS OUT WITH PEOPLE AND PEOPLE ENJOY HIS COMPANY. HE IS NOT UNIVERSALLY LOATHED IN UNIVERSE.
His closest friend IS JUST AS PERVERTED AS HE IS, but do we see him reviled? Nope! Not at all. Oh, but wait, he’s our cute Pikachu boy, of course not.
The girls who stop him do not stop him or hit him or smack him with expressions of hate or anger -- it’s resigned ‘ugh, not this again’, the fond annoyance you save for a friend that says stupid shit and needs whacked every so often. They don’t even look at him half the time! Just swat him! That’s not hatred!
And, just to reiterate this point: HE IS NOT THE ONLY PERVERTED CHARACTER IN THE CLASS, AND NO ONE HATES HIM. HE IS TREATED LIKE THAT ANNOYING AND WEIRD CLASS CLOWN KID THAT PEOPLE ARE FOND OF ANYWAY. HE HAS FRIENDS, AND HE IS LIKED, AND HE GETS ALONG WITH PEOPLE.
Listen, he isn’t my favorite character by far. I don’t like him! That’s fine not to like him! But the sheer amount of loathing and hatred and desire for this FIFTEEN YEAR OLD BOY to either die or be kicked out of a school he earned his way into is horrifying to me.
He is not a new character type. He is not even the worst of his character type, not by far -- he is not enabled, and none of the usual tropes happen: he says or attempts to do something perverted, and is instantly stopped or smacked for it. No one allows his behavior. This is LEAGUES BETTER THAN ANY OTHER CHARACTER OF HIS TYPE I’VE SEEN IN YEARS.
I don’t like him, but he does not deserve to be universally loathed like this, and he does not deserve to be expelled from school. I do not think Mind Control Boy would for a second want to be put into the Hero Course if it means that he’s just a replacement for someone no one likes. Think about how that comes across for a minute.
TL;DR; IF I AM GOING TO BE LABELED AN APOLOGIST, FINE, I DON’T CARE, THIS OUTRIGHT LOATHING AND HATRED OF THIS CHARACTER IS UNJUSTIFIED AND OVER THE TOP AND NEEDS TO FUCKING STOP.

13 for any of your BNHA muses!
13. “Looks like we’re gonna be stuck here for a while.”
(Characters: Bakugo & Izuku)
This is your fault, you know.
A braver person would say it out loud – and Izuku had to admit he’d say it out loud anyway, if it were anyone else. But given that it was Kacchan sitting next to him (well, a few feet away)…nope. No way. Not happening, not a chance.
It was, though. Indisputably. Well, okay, ninety percent. …Eighty. Mostly! Mostly. Aizawa-sensei was going to strangle both of them, either way. It didn’t matter who’d accidentally broken the building in the training zone. It was broken now, and the two of them were stuck in the rubble until someone came to get them. Not in the rubble, really, but– in a space in the rubble. Some of the metal bars in the framework had made sure there was a fairly decent sized space clear of debris for the two of them. Good luck, and only good luck, he knew that for sure.
“Ah– um– I-I– well…“ Izuku began haltingly. “It, uh– it looks like we’re gonna be stuck here for a while, Kacchan…”
Bakugo didn’t say anything. Well, okay, he grunted and crossed his arms, leaning against some rubble. Izuku sighed. “We’re gonna miss more class, too,” he muttered nervously. “Aizawa-sensei is going to ground us again, put us on more cleaning duty probably– does he have a three-strikes system? I hope so, but that means this is strike two…or no, wait, would this already be three because of what happened at Kamino? Oh, no, that wouldn’t be very good. But this is different, isn’t it? We didn’t do anything really bad, per say, I mean, we’re still on campus, so technically we’re not using our powers illegally–”
“Shut the fuck up, Deku,” Bakugo snapped finally, turning around. “We ain’t gonna get in trouble.”
“We kind of are,” Izuku said hesitantly. “We were on house arrest when we did this the first time, and now you broke a building…”
Bakugo blinked, and groaned, falling backwards onto the ground. “Fuck,” he said. “Fucking house arrest. This is your fucking fault.”
“How is it my fault?!” Izuku yelped. “You called me out!”
“You broke the goddamn building! You kicked the shit out of it, Deku, I was just standin’ in front of it and you nailed it when I dodged!” Bakugo snapped. “Don’t always blame shit on me. You fuckers always do that.”
Izuku blinked, startled, but Bakugo was on a roll now, apparently. “You do. You an’ everyone else. Oh, some shit blew up or shit got trashed? Probably Bakugo. Not, like, I dunno, the asshole with an electricity Quirk? The guy who can set shit on fire? Chick who can make fuckin’ cannons?” He huffed. “It ain’t always me.”
“…they have names,” Izuku pointed out. “And, um– Kaminari-san probably isn’t…really all that bad with it, but– but you have a point, I guess. Todoroki-san’s Quirk is really strong, especially now that he’s using all of it. And Yaoyorozu-san can make a lot of destructive stuff.” He flopped backwards onto the ground too, to join him. “I mean, you’re right, I guess. Even my Quirk can get really destructive. Most people’s can. Thirteen-sensei told us that. Even All Might’s caused some messes!”
He trailed off, pretty sure Bakugo was staring at him. “You know we only kind of blame you first ‘cause of how you’re…you, Kacchan, right?” He asked. “But if you don’t like it, I’ll try not to do it so much and try to get the others to. It’s not fair, ‘specially if blaming you first gets you in more trouble.”
He turned, and yeah, Bakugo was staring at him. “I mean, you don’t deserve to be the only one getting in trouble,” he added.
Bakugo blinked, and then reached out to punch Izuku in the shoulder. “Fuck off,” he grumbled. “Don’t fuckin’ do that, you shithead.”
“S-Sorry,” Izuku said reflexively, flinching, but Bakugo remained quiet. He sighed at that, relieved and a little surprised. Bakugo usually got a lot angrier when people expressed sympathy towards him, and for a lot longer. He’d gone quiet, though, which was…
Huh. Maybe he was finally–
“I’m blaming it all on you, then, this time,” Bakugo said cheerily. “Enjoy solo house arrest, Deku. You said it, not me.”
Oh. Never mind.

And, finally, the class’s teacher! A Pro Hero OC was actually a lot harder than the students, weirdly??? Eh, she’s still cool. I am endlessly in love with her hero name. I may or may not ship her with a certain UA teacherdad.
Sūhō Kawaru (変割 吸放) / Transmutation Hero: Alchemiss
Age: 31
Pro Hero; Teacher, Kōshujin High
Quirk: Matter Recycle -- Can absorb any non-living matter through direct contact with hands (must be bare skin), and use it to create other non-living items. The object created must have the same general mass (but not shape) as the matter absorbed, but otherwise can be anything. The max amount of matter that can be recycled is 15 square foot.
Sūhō is one of the alumnus of Kōshujin High that made it as a Pro Hero -- she’s rated No. 19 in the rankings, and one of the top Rescue Heroes in the business. She uses her Quirk to help with relief efforts and rescuing civilians by transmuting rubble into other useful items and getting it out of the way. Her hobbies are writing -- she has a fairly popular advice column in a big name magazine for teens -- and cooking (something she’s very skilled at given her knowledge base relating to her Quirk), and she loves to have flowers around her, being that they’re something she can’t make with her powers. She became a teacher because she loves to help young, aspiring heroes reach their goals.
Sūhō is a decent lady. She’s open, friendly, and laidback, and will drop everything if one of her students need her -- and she can be viciously protective; it’s a little embarrassing. She’s like a very doting mother when it comes to her kids, though she can be tough on them too, if needed. (Her students call her ‘Alchemom’ behind her back sometimes). She’s not a big fan of the spotlight, trying to keep out of the media’s eye; she tends to attribute her popularity to her magazine column and tends to vanish if a news crew is around -- she has stage fright something fierce, and it’s a close kept secret. The scarf was a gift from her boyfriend and she wears it in and out of costume. (The identity of her boyfriend is also a closely guarded secret.)
Name Trivia: Her first name has the kanji for ‘absorb’ (吸) and ‘release’ (放), and her surname has the kanji for ‘change, transform’ (変) and ‘split, divide’ (割).

And the other kids in Kōshujin High Class 1-B! They have fun designs and great personalities but they’re more background, honestly, so they don’t have very much in the way of backstories (yet).
Seimei Sōzō (想像 青明) / Imagination Hero: Bluelight
Age:15
Quirk: Imagine -- Can create solid, semi transparent objects made of blue light based on anything she has seen before. She can only project one object at a time, though she can switch quickly. The objects cannot be bigger than a truck, but she has full control of them.
Seimei is an artiste. She’s constantly coming to school covered in paint stains and sometimes has a paintbrush or pencil behind her ear or used to hold her hair up. She’ll get inspired at random moments and force whoever inspired her to sit their ass down and let her draw them, or sit her ass down and draw whatever it is despite other obligations. She’s a bit ditzy and flaky, but she can get serious in a pinch, and is incredibly creative with her Quirk.
Name Trivia: Her first name contains the kanji for ‘blue’ (青), and can be also read as Akira, which means ‘bright’. Her surname is the word for ‘imagination’.
Kokuyu Kurogane (黒金 黒油) / Dark Hero: Blackgold
Age:15
Quirk: Black Ooze -- His body can secrete a black ooze from his palms. He can adjust its stickiness and viscosity. He can manipulate the ooze however he wants and harden it to make weapons or armor. He can track anyone he leaves a handprint on. He can't secrete too much at once or he gets dehydrated, so his costume has storage units for the ooze so he can collect it and use it without side effects.
Kokuyu is an edgy fuck, basically. He’s the resident goth punk who thinks he’s dark and mysterious and all that. He lays it on thick, being melodramatic and spooky and unironically talks about dark magic and curses and evil spirits. He’s an endless source of entertainment, really. He loves horror stories and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the weirdest, creepiest shit. He wants to be a hero anyway, though, a Dark and Mysterious type.
Name Trivia: Both his names contain the kanji for ‘black’ (黒), and while his first name also has the kanji for ‘oil’ (油), his surname means ‘black gold’ -- another term for oil and the source of his hero name.
Kanagu Nishiri (螺 金具) / Impact Hero: Megadrill
Age: 16
Quirk: Drill Arms -- He can turn his arms into drills from the elbow down. He can use them as swords or spin them for drilling action, and can use that momentum for jumps or tackles. However, he gets dizzy if he rotates them for too long.
Kanagu is basically the typical hot-blooded Manly Man type, loud and brash and very cheerful, and has a habit of challenging people to fights -- one of the others has to drag him away before he gets in trouble, usually. He, for some reason, thinks Endeavour is the most badass hero ever, and wants to be strong and manly and cool like him one day, much to everyone else’s bewilderment. He can be a little oblivious sometimes, too, and can say insensitive things. He always apologizes, though.
Name Trivia: His first name has the kanji for ‘metal’ (金) and ‘tool’ (具), and his surname means ‘screw’.
Taiyōkō Kōsen (光閃 太陽光) / Daylight Hero: Solari
Age: 16
Quirk: Photokinesis -- Can absorb light and use it. Can use it for energy blast attacks, to make herself glow, for blinding bursts of light, and for flashes that can signal or stun people. She is relatively useless at night or in the dark. Her costume includes solar panel discs that allow her to collect light as effectively as possible, with an added effect of storing it for use in darker times/places.
Taiyōkō is a bit of a princess, having grown up in a rich family. She’s used to a lot of privilege, and at first is stuck up and rude, but eventually it turns out that she was only feeling out of place and awkward due to her parents’ portrayal of her inability to get into UA as the biggest and worst thing to ever happen. After she gets better, she’s friendly and kind, albeit still a little out of touch with reality and with an Ojou-like streak of being completely overdramatic about ‘working-class’ stuff. She has a massive chip on her shoulder about her big weakness, and tends to get comically depressed about it if it’s brought up.
Name Trivia: Her first name means ‘sunlight’, and her surname both has the kanji for ‘light’ (光) in it and roughly means ‘flash of light’.
Shoman Hakushi (白紙 書万) / Reading Hero: Bookmark
Age: 15
Quirk: Paper Control -- Can manipulate paper, creating objects from it and hardening it for shields, etc. He can only use loose sheets of paper, and has a limited range. Carries several pouches containing paper on his costume at all times.
He’s a massive nerd -- not the shy type, but the vaguely condescending (in a sincere, genuine way) type. He knows a lot about a lot, especially heroes and villains and the history of them both, and tends to kind of be a rules lawyer about things. He’s not entirely a stick in the mud, but he’s the last one to agree on doing anything a little nuts or rebellious.
Name Trivia: His first name has the kanji for ‘million’ (万) and ‘book’ (書), and his surname means ‘blank sheet (of paper)’.

So, I slipped and accidentally made BHNA OCs. This group is the ‘main’ group, in that they’re the focus characters in their storyline and they’re more developed than the others backstory-wise. I love them all. So -- introducing the first half of Kōshujin High, Class 1-B!!
Ōgoe Kowadaka (声高 大声) / Silent Hero: Speaker
Age: 15
Quirk: Super Voice -- Has a voice that creates shockwaves just by speaking; the louder the words the more powerful the shockwave. Even whispers have this effect. A special face-mask allows her to modulate and direct the effects of her voice; otherwise, she cannot speak without causing damage. Her costume also includes speakers on her belt and back to project her voice in different directions and a volume control dial mounted on her wrist for more precise control than just her mask.
As a child, she was unable to speak; her parents were too poor to contact hero support companies for some equipment to help her. Her only comfort was listening to Present Mic’s "Put Your Hands Up Radio" every Friday. His Quirk was similar to hers, so she hoped one day she’d be able to master it like he had and be able to be a hero like him. She applied to every hero school she could, and finally managed to get into Kōshujin High, class 1-B. Getting her costume face-mask -- which she wears constantly with permission from the faculty -- was the happiest day of her life.
She’s serious and cautious, very soft-spoken and faltering in her speech (she’s unused to speaking). She’s friendly, though, and a very good listener who gives good, thoughtful advice. She has an intimate knowledge of her Quirk, though, and is incredibly talented at using it; she has perfect pitch, and can use that to her advantage. She’s incredibly driven despite her hesitance, and wants desperately to be a great hero and overcome her weaknesses.
Name Trivia: Both names contains the kanji for ‘voice’ (声) and are both words that mean variation of ‘loud voice’.
Chihiro Mushō (無姓 血尋) / Surgeon Hero: Sawbones
Age: 14
Quirk: Body Mod -- She can manipulate the organic of living beings. Currently, her power only affects creatures up to the size of medium sized animals or individual parts of humans, including herself. Cannot add or subtract organic matter, only manipulate the matter that is there (ie, cannot replace missing parts or take any out; can, however, manipulate already existing matter). She carries extra medical supplies on her costume belt.
Chihiro’s parents were Villains; she doesn’t know their names or aliases, though, because they were arrested when she was four by heroes who didn’t even bother searching the apartment and find her. She grew up on the streets, which is where she discovered her Quirk when she accidentally killed a stray cat by weakening its bones until they all shattered. It was at that point she knew she would never be accepted as a hero in this world, and even after she was picked up by authorities and put into foster care, she believed there was no point in thinking she could be a hero. It was only in her second and final year of junior high that her only friend, Handō, convinced her to apply to a hero school -- telling her that her use of her powers to help him with his was heroic as far as he was concerned. She grudgingly did so, and was shocked to be accepted.
Chihiro is sarcastic and sullen most of the time, with a chip on her shoulder and a lot of street smarts thanks to her powers and her childhood on the streets. She’s got a good heart despite it all, even if her self-esteem is terrible and she believes that thanks to her Quirk she’ll never be accepted by the current society as anything but a potential villain. She does want to help people she cares about, though, and if they believe in her she’ll give it a shot.
Name Trivia: Chihiro is a normal girl’s name, but the Chi-- in hers is the kanji for ‘blood’ (血) instead of ‘thousand’ (千). Her last name is the kanji for ‘nothing’ and ‘family name’, an appellation she took on herself, as she doesn’t remember her real one.
Kōro Reizōko (冷造居 鋼炉) / Household Hero: Appliance
Age: 15
Quirk: Technology Mimic -- Can mimic the function of any technological object he touches. Examples are that a fridge gives him ice powers, etc. He can only use one at a time and must touch the object every time he wants to use it's power. His costume includes a belt of small tech objects that have a variety of functions.
Kōro grew up with two parents with generic Quirks -- his mother had minor electrical-based abilities and his father could control basic technological objects in his vicinity. These gave Kōro his Quirk, which he discovered when he accidentally froze half his kitchen after trying to get ice cream from the freezer. Having always idolized heroes, he knew from that moment he wanted to be one, and pushed himself to excel and learn his Quirk inside and out in order to be a great Hero one day. UA was his first choice, but he was happy to at least get into a hero school.
Kōro is your average teenage boy -- cheerful, friendly, and good-natured, with an excitable streak and an easy smile. He’s quite bright, too, and helps out with support teams on the side -- studying his Quirk meant that he had to study technology, and he’s a bit of an amateur inventor himself. He actually designed his own equipment down to the schematics and sent that in along with his costume design. However, despite his desire to be a hero, sometimes he thinks he’d be better off simply using his smarts to work at a support company.
Name Trivia: His first name is the kanji for ‘steel’ (鋼) and ‘furnace’ (炉), referencing an oven, and his surname is the word for ‘refrigerator’, but with different kanji.
Aimono Yokusetsu (欲接 愛物) / Storage Hero: Collectress
Age: 15
Quirk: Inventory -- Can take any object she chooses and has touched and store it in a 'pocket’. The object disappears completely, and she can call it to her at any time. Objects from her inventory are marked with a symbol to indicate her ownership of them, and she can call them to her or back to her inventory from anywhere. Currently her storage capacity is 50 and she cannot store any item bigger than a car.
Aimono was a popular girl in elementary and junior high, but at the same time was -- and is -- a total otaku. She loves video games devotedly, plays MMOs, and has a ton of merchandise. Her love of video games made her want to be a hero, and she made it her mission to get into a school for one. Her end goal -- her ‘final boss’ is to get a cute girlfriend and be a famous hero with lots of money. She doesn’t really care how that sounds; it takes all kinds, right?
Aimono is...a lot. She’s bubbly, jubilant, and loud, and she’s a total flirt when she meets a pretty girl. She’s a bit overwhelming, with a tendency to interrupt and talk over people, and goes into imagine spots a lot. She’s very strange and out there, but she’s incredibly prepared for any situation and has a lot of knowledge and resourcefulness. She talks in video game terms a lot, though.
Name Trivia: Her first name is the kanji for ‘love’ (愛) and ‘object’ (物), and her surname means ‘desire’ with the kanji for ‘greed’ (欲) and ‘touch’ (接).
Handō Sekirī (斥力 反動) / Physics Hero: Recoil
Age: 15
Quirk: Deflection -- Can repel any object that comes into contact with him. He can choose the speed of the object’s movement, but at the price of the recoil affecting him at the appropriate force. Large and heavy objects are harder for him to repel, as are multiple objects at once. He cannot repel anything larger than 15 square feet or heavier than 20 pounds, or else he will injure himself.
Handō’s Quirk manifested in elementary school as usual, and -- has he was already the bullied kid, made fun of due to his parents, the heroes Kinetica and Newton, and their forced retirement due to an incident gone horribly awry -- his harassment got worse. He came home most days covered in bruises or with broken bones, unable to control the activation or force of his Quirk: items thrown at him either bounced off, the recoil of which harmed him, or hit him without bouncing, leaving bruises. This happened until his second year of junior high, when new student Chihiro stepped in and beat up his bullies on her first day, and then made a habit out of using her Quirk to mitigate the recoil damage from his. They were best friends after that, and he convinced her to come with him to hero school, as Handō himself wants to become a hero to make up for what happened with his parents.
Handō is terminally shy and introverted, speaks with a stammer, and tends to cringe when he talks out of habit as if expecting backlash from whatever he says. He’s sweet and kind, though, and wants to help people desperately. His parents are deeply troubled, being heroes that had their licenses revoked after a debacle, but they raised him as best they could -- even if they were rather neglectful in regards to the bullying. He has a deep, desperate desire to pull the Sekirī name out of the mud, and will do anything to make it happen. He wears medical braces a lot, both normally and as part of his costume, as his bones are weak due to repeated breakages.
Name Trivia: Handō means ‘recoil’, and his surname means ‘repulsive force’.
