"Good morning, Bobby," you said to him in a lazy but sultry voice.
"Morning, my sweet girl, how are you this morning?" He said to you with love.
"I'm doing fine." You taking your robe off and about to get in the shower.
After, you gotten in the shower, Bob starting to kissing you while he take you in while the water it's still running, his kisses felt like so tender but sweet like it's a ice cream sundae but it's felt so good to be loved by the man that you fell in love with since y'all gotten married, during y'all make out session, he finger you in your vagina and you moan quietly because y'all don't wanna wake up Anastasia while she sleeping in the other room....
"Bobby, you felt so good." You moan to his name.
"I'm know, darlin', that why you taste so good to me." He said to you with lust in his baby blue eyes.
After y'all two got done with your make out shower session, you drying off, then put some baby oil & lotion on, and your clothes on, before you check on your daughter to make sure she is okay. But Bobby said he gonna do it and tell Koko to take her time.
"Hey babe, I'm gonna check on Ana, okay?"
"Okay, and hey Bobby?"
"Yeah, love?" He said to you
"I'm love you so much." You said to him with love.
'I love you too, sweetheart." He smiles at you and kisses you on your temple. Then he went downstairs to check on y'all daughter.

This was not the setting you had planned for this.
It was supposed to be romantic, rose petals, strawberries and champagne, all of that. You were going to seduce a shy pilot into your bed, kiss and caress him til he was yours.
Shy looks was replaced with a filthy tongue, a hand over your mouth, body against the wall. No rose petals, no champagne but an eager mouth telling you every little thing he was going to do to you, his kitten.
Like a patient spider, you had been lured into the trap.
“Fuck, you’re so wet, kitten. Just for me?”
You nodded your assent as his fingers plowed deeper into your cunt, his breath heavy in your ear. “‘M going to ruin you, my pretty kitten. This pussy going to be for me, only me, sweetheart.”
You were ready to be his prey.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You shake your head, watching your best friend stare at a happy couple, already knowing she wishes she could have that kind of love… which hurts you in more ways than one. You sigh to yourself knowing that you’re going to have to break her out of her gaze.
You reach behind you, untying your apron and lean onto her nudging her arm. "Don't do that sad puppy dog look, Tash. You’ll find your special someone. I know it."
She scoffs, removing her gaze from the couple to take your apron. "Yeah, where?"
"He's just around the corner."
"You go out on more dates than I do how do you not have a boyfriend."
You know what she’s doing, it’s her defense mechanism, one she’s been doing since you two were kids.
You shrug, going around her to grab your purse and coat. "All the ones I find are jerks."
"Bob isn’t."
"Please don't start this again," you plead.
"I'm just saying. If it was between the two of us, you would have a better chance at finding love than I would." She opens the register to make change before sending the couple off so she can talk to you.
You sigh, "Natasha, I love you. I do, but you have to realize that I am older. I would look like a cougar."
"You’re barely four years younger than me."
"And I'm still seven years older than him. I've seen him take baths. I even helped."
She furrows her brows. "Now?"
"No! When we were kids. He was the sweetest little boy ever."
"To you," she mutters.
"No, he-" ‘Huh.’ As you think about it, maybe you did have to resolve more than one of his tantrums when no one else could. "Maybe he wasn't but-"
"Don't you even try to argue and say he was an angel. He wasn't. He was absolutely terrible except for you and only you but you don’t want to admit it."
You roll your eyes. "I have to go to work, Natasha."
She sighs, "please don't leave mad."
"I'm not, I'm not… I promise… pain in my ass."
She chuckles, even though she knows you don’t want to admit any of it, but her baby brother was a menace as a kid, and he’d only ever be the most well behaved and calm down faster when you helped him.
Penny walks through the door, "oh is it time for you to leave already? I feel like I've barely gotten to see you."
You chuckle, grabbing your coat off the counter. "It is."
"Come for dinner."
"Oh. I couldn't." You always like having dinner with Natasha and Bob’s family but it gets awkward whenever they try to discuss your guy’s future wedding, last time you went to dinner that was all they talked about.
"I'll make you a special plate,” she adds to persuade you.
You pretend to think about it. "Leftovers?"
"Only small container."
Which means, take as much as you want. "Deal?" You’re scared about tonight’s dinner topic.
She pulls you in for a hug and kisses your cheeks. "Have a good day, darling."
"You too, Mrs. P."
"How many times do I have to tell you, call me Penny."
You can’t bring yourself to that… not when you need to break it off. "Bye ladies."
-
You walk out of the restaurant, reaching into your purse only to find it not clutched underneath your armpit. You could have sworn you brought it with you. You turn around, staring at the ground not wanting to fall on the slippery, wet concrete (today, your butt is still a little sore from two days ago).
"Woah! Woah!" A set of hands grips your waist tightly, keeping you upright.
You lift your head and find the reason why these hands feel familiar. "Oh, gosh. Sorry, Bob. Even as careful as I was, I still managed to slip."
He smiles at the joke, knowing you’re being this nice to him because his family is watching you from inside the restaurant (and he’s late for his shift, again but for a good reason). “It’s a good thing I was here to catch you." His hands haven’t moved from your waist.
"Bob," you lower your head, making sure he understands how he can’t make jokes like that, even if you did leave his room early before anyone was awake.
"What?” He shrugs, ignoring your look. “It was a harmless comment."
You scoff, "nothing with you is harmless."
"Ouch.” He places his right hand over his heart, “that hurts. No, it really does."
"Why are you here?"
"Your purse." He holds it out for you.
"Oh," you blink owlishly, taking the item from him. "Thank you!” You glance back at him with a raised brow. “You know if I didn't know any better, I would think you took it just talk to me like this in front of your family."
"You're over at the house all the time, I could just steal you away from Nat."
"How sneaky."
His lips tug upwards into a smirk. "Only for you."
A sigh escapes through your nose. "You cannot say things like that to me."
"Why not?" He asks, you always tell him this, but it doesn’t change anything that’s been going on between you two. “Tell me why I can’t say things like that to you and I’ll stop.”
“I have to go to work.”
His joking attitude falls, “hey, wait. I didn’t mean to overstep-”
“Bob, you are their prized baby boy. You’re the one who’s going to do greater and better things than they could have ever imagined. We wouldn’t-”
“Don’t finish that sentence because you’re wrong, you don’t know how my family talks about you when you’re not around.”
“I’ll see you at dinner, Bobby.”
He turns around watching you walk away as soon as your figure disappears his head falls back, staring up at the gray clouds, wondering how things can change for you to realize how much his family sees you as one of their own.
If they could have, they would have adopted you, so they don’t have to call you the “adopted daughter”. But then again, they do keep dropping hints about him asking you a certain question so they can officially call you their favorite daughter-in-law (including the in-laws themselves).
He turns around and heads into the restaurant, ready to start his shift.
Natasha doesn’t say anything but feels she should do something to help you realize how much in love her brother is with you… maybe after she helps the incredibly handsome blond man, she sees in the window who then enters the restaurant and sits down with his friend.
There are a few complaints about how the food doesn’t taste the same as it normally does, which makes sense since this morning’s talk brought down his happy mood.
He thought maybe you left your purse because you wanted to have something more with him.
-
Your day didn’t go any better, the only new thing that happened involves your coworker and her setting you up on a blind date knowing today is one of the three days you show up with a side for dinner at Natasha’s family home. You tried to tell her to cancel it, but she didn’t want to listen.
“Why do you want me to cancel it so badly? Is it because that guy who drops you off lunch finally wised up and confessed?” Lucy asks, with a wide smile.
You tilt your head, “who- do you mean Bob?”
She nods, “yes, yes! The cutie with the glasses. He’s always so sweet when he asks where you are? I wish my boyfriend would describe me the way he does about you.”
“How does he-” Your guy’s shared boss, Ed (short for Edward) interrupts, informing you two to get back to work.
Lucy grabs your arm as you two rush back to your workstations. “So, what I’m hearing is, he can’t man up and ask you out and you’re, in fact, single.”
You sigh, knowing she’s won.
“Perfect,” she pauses.
“What? Why did you go quiet all of a sudden?”
“Now, I don’t know if you should go on this date. The guy I chose for you has been known to be a… player but- but I see the look on your face, please let me finish. But he's changed. Or maybe if you want, he can help you. Oh, yes. I’m brilliant. I’ll text him and tell him we have a plan to get two lovebirds together.”
“You forget Bob and I aren’t lovebirds.” You feel dirty saying that, almost like you’re lying.
“Not yet.”
You regret talking to her about these kinds of things now.
-
As you walk to Lucy’s car, you text Natasha.
Brat Tamer
‘Hey, can’t stay for dinner but I have a side ready. I’ll drop it off, make sure someone cab grab it' 6:02pm Sent Read
“Okay, where to?”
“Your house first. I always have a spare party outfit in my car.”
“How often do you go out?”
“When was the office new year’s party?”
“Same day as the Christmas party?”
“And that was?”
“First Saturday of December.”
“That’s how long I’ve had them in my car.”
“Lucy,” you chuckle.
“What?”
“You cannot tell me that you’ve left dirty clothes in your car for the last six and a half months?!”
“Don’t worry. I got them dry cleaned a few days after. I just never brought them upstairs to put in my closet. The elevator at my apartment complex is always broken and I have to walk up four flights of stairs.”
You giggle, “okay, Luc. Whatever you say.”
“Peter will be at the restaurant in a booth at seven which gives me enough time to throw something together while you do your makeup.”
“I mean, I guess.”
“This is going to be fun.”
Nat the Brat
‘Got it… what color lipstick goes with the black dress I found at the mall a few years ago?’ 6:13pm Sent Read
You reread the text and find yourself smiling.
Brat Tamer
‘Your date better be with the one you were drooling over during your story. I can’t wait to meet him. One of your two pink lipsticks, don’t want to scare him away with a dark color ;)’ 6:15pm Sent Read
“Okay, it’s time to doll you up.”
“What Era are we obsessed with today that were throwing in words people don’t use often?”
She shrugs, “I don’t know. “Doll you up” just felt right.”
Neither of you say anything as she picks out your outfit and you’re left to wander into the bathroom and finish your makeup.
Her quietness does concern you seeing as she’s normally so talkative, but you don’t put too much thought into it as you search for your favorite lipstick.
You hadn’t realized she was texting Natasha to figure out what would make Bob tick and push himself into asking you out- officially.
If only you hadn’t introduced the two of them when you invited Natasha as your plus one to your work barbecue a couple of years ago.
“I found it. Come out here.”
“But you’re there.”
“Oh.” She sighs, “I’ll turn around.”
You give her the okay to turn around and her jaw drops. “Oh, I am a miracle worker.”
“You’re too cocky for your own good.”
“That’s why I’m using my good on you,” she adds a wide smile.
You roll your eyes, “I don’t buy it.”
-
“Can you take it to their door?”
“I’m a stranger. Why would they accept a meal from me?”
“I don’t know.”
“Why can’t you cooperate with me?”
“I am,” Lucy argues.
“No, you’re not.”
“Well then you should have thought about this beforehand.”
“I did. You’re the one who wouldn’t stop here first.”
She shrugs. “Either you drop it off or they don’t get their special “adopted daughter” side dish.”
You groan, unbuckling your seatbelt. “I hate you.”
“Not after tonight you won’t.”
As soon as you stepped out of the car, she texted Natasha.
You knock on the door, waiting for her to answer. Your eyes slightly widen seeing- “Bob. Hey.”
“I thought you couldn’t make it tonight?”
“That’s true.”
“But you’re here.”
“I just came to drop off this,” you hold the dish pan in front of him.
He leans down to smell it. “Smells like my favorite.”
You roll your eyes, “you say that about everything I make.”
“And it’s true. But-uh- why are you dressed up?”
“My coworker is setting me up on a blind date.”
“Really?” His eye glaze over with annoyance, you think.
“I tried to-”
“Have fun on your date.” And he slams the door in your face.
You scoff and walk back to the car.
“So, what happened?”
You yank the seatbelt out of its place and click it into place with a huff. “How do you think?”
She says nothing and starts the car. “What if I told you that Peter is actually engaged, and I lied so that Bob would ask you out?”
“What?” You turn to her, “what the hell do you mean?”
“Well- we just-”
“You and Natasha planned this? Is she even home right now?”
“She's on a date, I swear she is. But we just- we’re so tired of you being sad and not admitting your feelings-”
“I’m getting out.”
“What? No.” She tries to grab you but you’re already out. “Come on, get back in the car.”
“No.”
“I’m sorry, please just get inside the car.”
“Why?”
“We’re gonna go hangout.”
“How do I know you’re not lying?”
“Because I’m a nice person.”
You roll your eyes and get back in the car. “It’s going to be a calm night. We’re going out to dinner and then maybe somewhere for dessert.”
You two wind up having a really good time and she helped get your mind off the fact that Bob was so annoyed, for no reason.
-
You wake up to find two missed calls from Natasha along with a few texts. You roll over, not responding; still upset over what she and Lucy planned.
You didn’t talk to her or Bob for a week and it was miserable, for everyone.
No one in the family knew what had happened and didn’t know how to help, all they knew was that their children were depressed, and you were the obvious solution.
Penny knocks on your door when you have barely started to wind down after your long day.
You open the door, expecting it to potentially be your best friend or Lucy and are surprised. “Mrs. P?”
“Can I come in?”
You nod and open the door wider, “what are you- shouldn’t you be at home getting dinner ready? I mean, I’m not- why- uh-” You scratch your head. “Why are you here?”
“My children are depressed.”
“I’m sorry to hear that-”
“You haven’t been around the house in a week, and I know what something’s wrong. What did they do? Maybe I can talk to them and make it better.”
You sigh and sit beside her on the couch. “It’s nothing that can’t be resolved, I just needed Nat to learn her lesson and she’s got her own life to live anyway. I mean, she’s started college and is doing something with her life, something that’s not what’s expected of her… no offense.”
She shrugs, “I understand but you should know she’s lonely because she has no one to talk to. She wants to be able to talk to you again.”
You take a deep breath, “I’ll stop by tonight.”
She claps her hands before pulling you in for a hug.
“Good, good. Everyone will be happy.”
“I don’t think it’s going to change much.”
“My little Bobby will be especially happy.”
You lean against the door, holding onto the doorknob. “What makes you say that?”
“A mother knows these things.” And with that, she left you with your thoughts.
-
You walk down the familiar walkway, listening to the bustle of the family moving about the house. You smile and knock on the door, not knowing if it’s unlocked or not.
One of the cousins, Bradley, opens the door.
“Well, look who came crawling back. Finally decided to drop the schmuck and find someone better. Maybe someone with a mustache,” he wipes his hand down his face, making sure to pay extra attention to his facial hair.
You roll your eyes, “move over, weirdo.”
“Hey,” he closes the door. Don’t make me tell the family about the one time-”
You jam your elbow into his side when you see your best friend making her way over to you.
She wraps her arms around you, ignoring her cousin as he pleads for someone to get help and that he’s dying. “I’m sorry.”
You shake your head, “don’t be. I’m just sorry it took me so long to come back.”
“No, I get it. It’s the same reason why I’m so scared to tell everyone about Jake.”
“You know once they meet him, they’ll adopt him, right?”
“What makes you say that?”
“I just know.” You pull her off to the side, “tell me about him.”
Your friend lowers her head, trying to hide her smile.
-
Neither of you notice when Bob manages to pull away from the aunts, he watches you two enjoying your conversation and realizes how much he screwed up and misses you.
Bradley pats his shoulder, “you gonna ask her?”
“I’m not asking anyone anything. Go brush your mustache somewhere else.”
“Hey, don’t hate on the ‘stache.”
-
Penny shouts for everyone and dinner starts with a slight twist; usually you and Natasha are seated by one another, but it seems that the family has other plans because now you and Bob are seated next to each other.
Everyone talks as if your absence didn’t happen, which was a relief on your part; you were scared they were going to bring it up.
After dinner everyone scattered and went to do whatever they wanted to.
You search for Natasha only to get a text from her saying she’s gone to hang out with Jake.
You scoff and shake your head as you lean against her doorway only to be frightened when you’re pulled back into another, yet familiar room. You turn around and stare at him.
“I wanted to say… sorry, you know about the other night.”
"You pulled me in here to apologize?"
He nods.
"What have you done with the real Bob?"
He rolls his eyes and sits down at his desk. "Shut up."
You stare at him with a soft smile. "Why did you really pull me in here?"
"I already told you."
You cross your arms, "you forget that I've known since you were a kid. I know when you're lying."
"I hate it when you do that," he huffs.
You furrow your brows, "do what?"
"Talk about me like I'm still a kid. I'm an adult, I have been. You know it. I mean," his chest bounces as he quickly chuckles to himself. "We've done things only adults would do."
Your eyes widen.
"Don't look at me like that."
"I'm giving you the most appropriate look after that comment, like you've gone insane." You glance back at the door.
"Don't worry. No one's going to come in. You're the only afterhours guest I've had."
"Somehow that doesn't comfort me."
He shrugs, "I don't know what to tell you then."
A piece of paper catches your eye. "What's that?"
"Nothing," he mumbles, moving it off the side.
"Is that-"
"It's nothing."
"It's not nothing," you tell him with a smile. "Is it the flyer you were talking about?"
He avoids making eye contact. "No."
You chuckle and shake his shoulders, "don't lie. It is." You reach for it, only for him to stop you. "Am I not allowed to see it?"
"It's not that."
"Then what is it?"
"I- it's not ready."
"You think I'm going to care if it's done or not."
He doesn't say anything.
"Fine, don't let me see it."
He rolls his eyes, knowing exactly what you're doing. He pulls it out from under his pile of miscellaneous items.
You stare at it for a while, scaring him because he thinks you don’t like it. You shake your head and throw your arms around him.
He’s thrown off, unsure of what to do.
You adjust yourself and keep an arm wrapped around his shoulders, keeping him close. “This is so good. I can’t believe you did this. Have you shown anyone else?”
He shakes his head, “why would I do that?”
“Because this is amazing, and your family needs to know.”
“You’re bad for me,” he mumbles, turning his head further into your chest, enjoying the warmth coming from you.
“How can you say that?”
He lifts his head, the corner of his lips quirked upwards, he narrows his gaze on you.
You know you should get up and leave, most of his family are still downstairs and soon Natasha will be coming home (if she doesn’t spend the night with her boyfriend). “I should go,” you whisper.
He nods, leaning in. “Then go.”
You don’t make a move to leave until he’s less than an inch away from you.
His breath is warm against your lips as he whispers to you. “I won’t do anything unless you want me to.”
You lean in and kiss him as if he’s the cure, drinking all that he has to offer and he’s not going to stop you.
The chair creaks as you try to change your position.
“I don’t the chair can handle our weight,” you mumble against his lips.
“You’re right.”
You squeal as he lifts you, holding onto his neck for dear life as you push your chest against his. “What are you doing?”
“We’re moving this to a different space that can handle what I’m going to do to you.”
You don’t comment on that, suddenly feeling hotter. You land face first on the bed, giving Bob a beautiful view of your backside.
He takes a step closer, “god, I love this ass,” he mumbles against the side of your neck as he smacks it.
You open your mouth, but no sounds come out of you.
He flips you over and stares down at you causing you to feel self-conscious, something he notices right away.
“Hey,” he whispers. “Are you okay? We don’t need to do anything else if you don’t want to.”
You shake your head, “I’m fine.”
“You know I don’t like when you tell me “you’re fine”. It doesn’t make me think you’re really fine.”
You grab his cheeks and pull him close, “I’m good. I want this. I want you, Robert.”
He nearly shudders. “Oh, you’re in for it now. You know exactly what that does to me.”
You nod your head, giggling to yourself. “Why do you think I said it?”
After you saw him slowly making his way down your body, all you’ve felt is pure bliss.
-
And then it wasn’t, you don’t remember how it happened.
But suddenly you’re running around the room looking for your clothes. “You’re such an idiot,” you hiss in his direction while pulling up your pants.
“What?”
“Where the hell do you get off asking about some guy I don’t even remember. You’re not my boyfriend.”
Silence fills the room as you put on your shirt. You feel bad, you do; you shouldn’t have said that… even if it is true.
“You’re right I’m not.”
“I’m s-”
“I think it’s time I take up my parents offer on finding me a wife.”
Why does that comment feel like such a stab to your heart? “I hope you have fun with that then.” You grab your jacket and purse, shoes in one hand, the other opening his door. You lean against the door, covering your mouth so no one hears your cries.
-
You walk down the stairs and tiptoe out the door, just in time to see your best friend and her boyfriend. You walk ahead to your car, hoping she doesn't notice you're there.
As soon as you get yourself settled, the front door opens and he runs out, searching for you.
She gets out of the Jake's Tahoe, just in time to see her brother searching around like a mad man for God knows what. She can't tell because Jake just pulled away from the sidewalk and is blocking your car. "What is it?"
"I really messed up."
"What did you do?"
"I can't tell you."
"Why not? It can't be that bad." She squints, letting her eyes adjust to the dark and faint light outlining his figure. "Right?"
His head drops.
"What happened?"
"I," he quiets down, unsure of how to tell her that he's more of an idiot than they realized. "I messed up and I don't think I can fix it."
"Does it involve a person?"
He nods. "This is not how I wanted it to go."
"Let's go inside so you can explain to me what happened."
The two sneak back inside, not wanting anyone to know where they were or ask questions.
-
"You what?" She paces around his room. "No wonder it smells like sex in here. Oh, wait a minute. Is that why she sneaks out of my room so much?"
He removes his glasses, wiping them off and doesn't do much to hide his smirk.
“You’re a pig.”
“At least I’m not a whore who hides.”
She punches his arm, “stop deflecting the question.”
He flops back onto his bed. “I’m sorry.”
“Why are you sorry?”
“I was doing the one thing no brother should.”
“Yeah, canoodling my best friend, we’re past that. Honestly,” she lays down beside him. “I’m conflicted. On one hand, I’m happy you two finally got together but I’m also grossed out because you’re my brother.”
He chuckles, “yeah, I know. Thing is…”
“What?”
“We’re not actually… together.”
She pushes herself up. “You mean to tell me that you two were just,” she grimaces at the thought. “Gross.”
“I was trying to tell her but then I messed up.”
“What’d you do?”
“I brought up the guy she went on a date with and how I’d take up mom and dad’s help on finding a wife- Ow! Ow!” He raises his hands to defend himself. “What are you doing?”
“Smacking the stupid out of you.” She groans, rubbing a hand across her face. “You do realize that she never went on a date with that guy.”
He turns his head, staring at her with furrowed brows. “What are you saying?”
“Lucy and I made that up, so you’d get jealous and confess.”
“She never-”
“No,” she shakes her head.
-
The next few days are a little awkward for Bob; you ignore him and mainly stick to Natasha.
“I think you should talk to him,” she tells you as you look up something on your computer.
“No.”
“I think it’d be good for you.”
“And I think it’d be good if I never talk to him again.”
“You don’t mean that.”
“I do,” you nod. “He was such a jerk, and I don’t want to deal with anymore jerks in my life.”
“Look, I get it. I do but,” she wraps her arms around your shoulders. “I need you two be okay when Jake comes over.”
You gasp, “he’s finally coming to dinner.”
She nods, “tonight, which is why you and Bob are going to talk.”
“No.”
She shrugs and opens the door, forcing him into the room. “Talk.” She slams the door shut, holding the handle tightly.
You scoff, slamming your computer shut. “Go away.”
He shakes his head, “not until you hear what I have to say.”
“Maybe I don’t want to.”
“Please.”
You push yourself off the bed and point your finger at him as you talk. “You acted like a jealous boyfriend over a date I did not go on. And when I pointed out that you’re not, you told me that you’ll take your parents’ advice on finding a wife. What was I supposed to do? Lay back down so we could go for another round. No! You acted like a jerk, and I wasn’t going to stick around to see what else you’d say.”
He nods, slowly reaching for you; his warm hand wraps around your wrist, pulling you closer. “I know and I’m sorry. I overstepped and I- it’s- I don’t want you to… date anyone else.”
Your eyes glance between him and his hand.
“I don’t want to find someone else to be my wife because,” he groans, not knowing how you’ll react. “I want you.” He takes a step closer, leaving a mere few inches between you two. “I don’t think I could date or marry anyone else and not think of you.”
You gulp, “what about-”
He shakes his head and cups your cheek, resting his forehead on yours. “I broke up with her because she wasn’t the one person I dream about, you know. The only one who could stop me from having a tantrum and read to me when everyone else was too busy.”
You chuckle and hiccup, unable to stop the tears from flowing. “How do I know you’re not just saying this to make things right between us?”
“Have you ever seen me be this sweet to anyone else?”
You shake your head.
“Exactly. You’re the only one that I want, and I will fight anyone who tries to take you from me.”
You shake your head, smiling at his words and take a step forward, leaning into him, resting your forehead on his chest.
The door creaks open, “have you two made up?”
Neither of you respond.
“Good, now I don’t have to worry about it being awkward anymore. Thank God.” She groans.
“What?” Bob asks.
“Now, I have to pray neither of you are doing it.”
“Shut up,” you tell her, it comes out mumbled since you didn’t raise your head.
Penny calls you two down for dinner.
You take a couple extra minutes to pull yourself together. “Do I look okay?”
They assure you that you do and the three of you walk downstairs.
-
“Well, don’t you three look happy. Now, where’s your boyfriend?” Pete stares his daughter down.
All eyes land on Natasha, who shrinks under their gaze.
“He’s-” The doorbell rings. “Here,” she runs to the door.
You and Bob take a seat, waiting for everyone else to join.
The aunts ask him many questions about himself, what he does, how they met, etc.
But it got interesting when he told them he’s a vegetarian.
You snort and cover your face when everyone turns to you. “Sorry, sorry. I just- I thought of a really funny joke earlier… about- it doesn’t matter.”
Dinner officially begins, everyone reaches to grab a dish or a utensil, but you can’t get the one thing you want because it’s being passed around.
Bob notices and knows it’s hard to say something when everyone else is being so loud. “Hey!” He shouts.
The whole family stops and turns to him.
“Pass me that dish.”
You want to squirm in your seat but find yourself unable to when he starts scooping some of your favorite onto your plate.
He passes the dish back to his father.
You stare at your plate, unsure if that was a good thing for him to do, you two barely started talking again.
The family has barely begun to return to their previous conversations when you glance at him from the corner of your eye. “Thank you.”
He shrugs, “it was nothing.”
Natasha shakes her head.
Jake leans down and whispers into her ear, “is there something going there?”
“I’ll tell you later.”
-
Penny and Pete noticed how close you two were tonight, but don’t comment on it, knowing two kids in love won’t want to talk to- “two old people? Really, Pete?”
“What? You make it seem like I said a bad thing.”
“You’re an idiot.”
-
“I won’t tell, if you don’t,” you tell Jake.
He nods, “got it.”
You sneak into Bob’s room as he sneaks into Natasha’s room. “I wasn’t expecting you here.”
You shrug, “yeah, well, when an adorable idiot confesses his feelings, you tend to want to talk spend time with him.”
He huffs, “I’m an idiot, huh.”
“Did you miss the part where I said you were adorable?”
“No,” he places his hands against your waist and pulls you closer. “I just wanted to hear you say it again.”
You stare at him through your lashes, leaving no visible emotion on your face. “Really?”
“Don’t give me that look.”
“I’m going to-”
He cuts you off with a kiss. “Is there anything I can do to get you to stop?”
You smile as your curl your arms around his shoulders, “maybe.”
-
After Natasha and Jake’s wedding, everything seemed to calm down for them until someone (“never make fun of the ‘stache”) ratted you two out and it was your guys’ turn.
A few months after you two had been married it was time to announce your news.
“I’m pregnant!” You’ve never been given as many hugs as you did that afternoon.
“Wow, wow,” Jake says, holding you at arm’s length, looking as if he’s scared to hug you.
You narrow your eyes to him. “What’d you do?”
“Me? Nothing.”
“I’m pregnant!”
Penny embraces her daughter faster than you’ve ever seen.
“This feels like a Spartacus moment,” you comment.
Bob shakes his head. “You’ve gotten weirder since becoming pregnant.”
“Yeah, because your genes are inside me creating a life.”
He shakes his head, “I don’t think that’s it.”
“Whatever.”
“I hope they become as close as you two are.”
You wipe your cheeks, sniffling, “I knew I liked you for a reason, Jake.”
-
Sometime after that, you two go into labor and within a few hours your baby boy is born before your niece.
“He’s so cute,” you whisper, staring at your other favorite person.
Your husband nods, “he is.”
“I can’t believe we made him.”
“I know.”
“I’m telling Nat you cried.”
“Don’t you dare.”
You chuckle and lean your head against his shoulder, enjoying (the fact that you didn’t feel a thing) the newfound warmth knowing what the future is going to consist of.

Ever since Mav introduced dogfight football to the team, it had been their favourite way to blow off some steam after long days full of training. And as a bartender at The Hard Deck, you didn’t complain one bit. Every few days, you’d have a hard time concentrating on prepping the bar when the beach was full of the young, hot aviators.
Well, truth be told, it was mostly one of them that always caught your eye. Lt. Robert Floyd or just Bob. The sweetest guy you’ve ever met. A little shy, but so caring and actually funny once you got closer to him.
Luckily Penny often let you off for a few hours while they played. Maybe she knew about your little crush or maybe she just remembered what it was like being young, but no matter the reason you found yourself roasting in the sun as the guys were getting ready.
As soon as Bob sees you, he comes over with a huge smile and you would be lying if you said it didn’t make your stomach flip. He’s so different from the others and maybe that’s what attracts you to him. But he’s never made a move despite your best efforts, so you’d come to the conclusion that either he was taken (and honestly, who wouldn’t jump at a catch like him?) or maybe he was just shy. You decide that today is the day you make your move.
“Hey Bobby.”
“Hi there, Pumpkin.”
As he sits down beside you, his knee brush against yours and you get warmer. It’s a bit foolish really, but it’s like you have no control over yourself when Bob is nearby. Even as the sweet little nickname rolls off his tongue, you feel your heart beat faster.
Next, Coyote and Hangman walk by, taking off their shirts as they make their way to the water’s edge. You barely glance at them, but still when you look back at Bob, you see something in his eyes. A faint glimmer of envy, maybe? Legs pulled up against your chest, you lean on your knees, looking softly at Bob.
“Why don’t you ever take your shirt off?”
He looks at you with a mixture of shock and scepticism, like he can’t even believe you would ask that before huffing out a laugh.
“You’re joking, right? Shyness or… well, not being that,” he gestures towards the other guys, standing there at the edge of the water, sweat already glistening down their bodies. “You take your pick…”
They sure are a sight, but it pains you Bob feels like that. But being plus size, you get how it’s like not always feeling confident in your own skin. As you watch him, he looks down at his own body, for a brief second, but you know what’s going through his head. You’ve been there, but just by looking at him, you can’t see what he has to be shy about.
“Bob…”
“Besides, the others are already shirtless. Plenty of muscles to look at.” He laughs softly as he cuts you off, clearly a little uncomfortable. Drawing in the sand with his index finger, he avoids your gaze. Maybe afraid you’ll agree with him? If he only knew…
“Well, the only one I really wanna see shirtless is you.”
You give him a soft smile and a wink. Beside you, Bob is speechless. His cheeks are slowly turning pink as he looks at you, unable to form a sentence. Afraid you broke him, you reach out and touch his arm gently.
“Bob? You okay?”
He reaches down to the hem of his shirt and hesitates for a second, before pulling the t-shirt over his head. And the sight frankly leaves you short of breath. His skin is pale from the lack of sunlight, but his chest is toned and from what you see while he’s sitting, there’s a hint of a six pack, too.
With defined shoulders and muscular arms, he really is hot and has nothing to be ashamed of. When you don’t say something, Bob begins to feel nervous and moves to put his shirt back on. But you gently stop him, looking into his eyes as you give him a big smile.
“Whoa, Bob. You… You look good.”
“I-I do?”
“Hell yeah. Why you ever wanted to cover that, I don’t know.”
Unable to stop yourself, you bite down on your bottom lip as you take in the sight in front of you. Eating him up and looking without any respect. Bob blushes under your gaze, not used to the attention, but seeing how he smiles, he doesn’t seem to mind.
“Hey, Bob. Game’s about to star-” Hangman stops as he takes in the scene. With a smirk, he points to Bob’s body. “You’ve taken your shirt off?”
“Yeah…”
The insecurity is oozing out of him, his voice trembling. But Hangman just extends his hand to help Bob to his feet, patting his back.
“Looking good, Bob. A shame you’ve hide that from everyone.”
At the last word, Hangman looks to you with a smirk, knowing full well how you felt about Bob. Stupidly, you had made a drunk confession a week ago and Hangman had not let it go since. But luckily, he doesn’t say anything else and drags Bob down to the water’s edge to play, leaving you to enjoy the sight.
And boy, did you enjoy it. True, you only had eyes for Bob, but all of them together is a sight to behold. Every single one of them is beautiful and charming, they always attracted quite the audience whenever they played. Penny even said she could see an increase in business.
Tumblr media
A few hours later, the young aviators begin to scatter. Some are going back to base, others want to spend a few hours at the bar. As Bob comes closer, you see to your horror that his skin is bright red. It clearly didn’t take well to the sun and now he’s burned.
“You… You didn’t put on sunscreen?”
Bob just shakes his head as he sits down in the shade, arms held out from his body. If you didn’t feel guilty, you’d laughed at the sight. Some of the others make their way to the bar and Hangman eyes Bob.
“Damn. Maybe we should change your callsign to Lobster.”
“Oh, fuck off,” you say as you flip him off. Gently, you help Bob into his shirt, trying not to touch the sensitive skin. Each time he whimpers under your touch, you whisper soft apologies to him.
“I’m so sorry, Bob. This is all my fault.”
“I’ve seen guys go out of their way to impress a woman, but this is overkill, Bobby.” Hangman smirks, japing Bob gently on the chest, making him wince out in pain. You slap away Hangman’s hand, sending some curses his way, before turning to Bob again, who is completely red in his face. Whether it's from the sun or Hangman’s comment, you don’t know.
“You know, I always burn, so I have this amazing lotion at home. You wanna borrow some?”
“Yes. Please.”
Helping him to stand, you guide him to your car, before running in and explaining the situation to Penny. She sends you off with a knowing smile and outside, you’re met by Hangman smirking as you run past him.
“Have fun!”
Tumblr media
Finally getting home to your apartment, you thank all possible Gods that you cleaned yesterday. Leading Bob into your bedroom, you leave him by the bed before running to the bathroom for the lotion and when you return, he stands awkwardly beside the bed.
“You could have sat down, while I was away,” you say softly, as you walk close to him.
“Yeah, well. I… I didn’t wanna do it without permission.”
“Oh, Bob. You always have permission to get into my bed.”
Giving him a kind smile, you can see the wheels in his head turning. Gently, you push him down on the bed, looking him into the eyes. He swallows nervously, his Adams apple bobbing in his throat. His beautiful blue eyes search yours, maybe looking for the same ting you always do when you look into his.
“Let’s take the back first.” You say softly, fingers at the hem of his shirt. You help him out of it, the skin looking even redder out of the sunlight. You frown, hating yourself. But hopeful you can help him feel better.
“This might be a bit cold.”
When you pour the lotion on his skin, he instantly flinches at the contact. But slowly, as you work it into his skin with soft strokes, he relaxes more under your touch. The more you touch him, the more you feel yourself getting hotter. Feeling every single muscle under your fingertips, you realise just how fit he is. How strong he might be. How easily he could throw you down and…
Your strain of thought is broken by a moan. Looking around his head, you see Bob’s eyes closed and his mouth slightly ajar, another moan escapes him. And just then, you wonder if you’ve ever seen anyone as beautiful as him. Working his muscles a little harder, you could swear you hear him whimper, but not from pain. Leaning in closer, you whisper in his ear.
“You want more, or should I do your front?”
“Front… please.”
His breath already sounds strained, and you’ve barely touched him. Moving around in the bed, you face him. Sitting to the side, you awkwardly lean in to pour the liquid on his chest.
“Would be easier if you laid down or I was in front of you.”
“You could just straddle me?”
As soon as the words leave his mouth, you see the horror on Bob’s face. So, you were not the only one surprised at his suggestion. You want to, oh God, do you want to, but you look at your thick thighs and suddenly feel shy.
“I think I would crush you.”
“I-I wouldn’t mind that.”
Nervous and honestly more aroused than you’ve ever been in your life, you move your leg over his, straddling Bob, your body so close to his. You can feel the heat radiating from him, how his strong legs flex under you and it goes straight to your core. You ache for him, want nothing more than to lean forward and crash your lips to his.
But you hold back, your fingers slowly spreading the lotion on his chest. Once again, he winces in pain, his whole body moving under you, against you. Whimpering softly under your touch, Bob throws his head back as your skilled hands work the cool lotion on his heated skin.
Feeling bolder, you brush your thumb over his nipple, already perked and you pull another sinful moan from his lips. And dammit if it isn’t the sweetest sound you've ever heard. Moving your hands further down, his breath hitches and his own come up to grab your thighs.
As you reach below his navel, dangerously close to the waistband of his shorts, he bucks against you. You feel something brush against your inner thigh. Beneath you, Bob is rock hard, his cock straining against the fabric of his shorts.
Moving your hands back up his chest, he finally opens his eyes again, they’re dark with lust. His breathing is heavy, dancing over your skin.
“I’m sorry I got you burned, Bob.”
“Oh, I… I really don’t mind.”
You never get tired of the slight drawl in his voice. It’s faint, but sometimes it shines through and when it does like just now, he always makes you weak in the knees. And wet between your thighs.
“But I do. Please...” you move in closer, whispering in his ear. “Let me make it up to you.”
Pulling away, Bob frowns slightly, not getting what you mean. But when you push him down onto your bed, he swallows thickly, licking his lips. Teasingly, you run your hands slowly down his pecs and abs, stopping at the hem of his shorts. Placing a soft kiss just below his navel, Bob jerks under you.
“Fuck… Oh Lord.”
Popping up onto his elbows, he looks you in the eyes, his face twisted in lust, but also hesitation. His big hand lands on yours.
“You-You don’t have to do… that… if you don’t want to.”
You give him a reassuring smile as you pull his shorts down, freeing his aching cock. Stunned, you almost forget how to breathe. He’s bigger than you thought he would be, and you can feel your mouth water as you take in his cock.
“Damn, Bob. Between this and your body, how are you even single?” You laugh softly, causing him to blush once again. Before he can answer, you lean in and lick the length of his cock, pulling another sweet whimper from him.
You take the head into your mouth and suck lightly, savoring the faint groan that escapes Bob's lips. You take him deeper, letting his cock hit the back of your mouth before slowly releasing him. Looking up for a split second your eyes find Bob’s before he falls back onto the mattress, a series of small curses leaving his lips like it’s a sinful prayer just for you.
“D-do that again. P-please…” he begs, as his hand finds it’s way to your hair, grabbing it gently.
You take his cock as deep as you can and let your tongue circle it quickly. When you see him struggling to keep his hips from bucking, you begin to bobbing your head up and down on his length.
“T-that is so good… S-so good.”
Bob's head drops back down and he gasps, soft praises and whimper falling from his lips. Unable to hold back, he thrusts up into your mouth, tugging your hair to make you move faster. You are happy to comply.
You let him fill  you, sinking down, sucking, licking, worshipping every inch of his length, and occasionally lifting off to watch Bob’s blissed out face. You fall into the rhythm so thoroughly that you lose track of how long you suck him.
A tug at your hair pulls you out of your trance, only to her a low groan coming from Bob, as he gets closer. He bucks his hips eagerly, lost in the feeling of your wet, hot mouth around him You let him fuck your mouth faster than you would have been able to go. Bob's hips twitching is the only warning you get before he stops thrusting and releases a hot stream of cum down your throat.
You swallow everything he has to offer, causing Bob to moan out your name. Pulling away from him, you give the head a final lick before sitting up.
You proudly look down at Bob. His hair is tousled, there are beads of sweat on his forehead and a blissed out expression on his beautiful face. He opens one eye and catches you looking, breaking into a smile that could light up even the darkest nights.
Before you can react, he pulls you down into a kiss that takes your breath away. His hand comes up to cradle behind your head as he deepens the kiss.
When you break apart, it's with a huge grin on your face and your heart racing. Bob takes you in, flashing a cheeky smile.
“Once this is healed… I’ll repay you.”

This Love is Fireproof - Robert Floyd X Reader
Pairing: Robert “Bob” Floyd X Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: With an out of control wildfire looming close to your home, you and your fiancé, Bob, do everything you can to keep it together in order to pack up your lives. But it all crashes down around you when you begin to think of what you could lose, but Bob is there, reminding you that your love burns brighter than any fire.
Warnings: angst, fire, loss of homes, evacuation, fear, hurt/comfort, open/ambiguous ending
A/N: So, this one hit hard. As of the day that I am writing this, part of my hometown and a few neighbouring ones are being evacuated due to fires in the area. I haven’t been evacuated, but my family and I had/have had to go through trying to pack up our lives and the fear of losing our house.
===
The waiting. That was always the worst part. Every second that ticked by felt like hours and you could hardly bear it much longer. You kept your eyes peeled out the kitchen window, just waiting for Robby’s truck to pull up. He’d gone down to the grocery for essentials; water bottles, batteries, flashlights, masks, plus a whole assortment of non perishables that would last you both long into this evacuation.
Evacuation.
One word. Five syllables that shot fear through your heart faster and deeper than anything you had experienced before. Hell, even a deployment couldn’t compare to this, because at least you had a home to live in, to miss your fiancé in, to hope that his pilot brought him home to you. But this was something new all together.
The wildfires raged on only a few short miles from your neighborhood, sending up thick plumes of acrid smoke that turned the sky a noxious orange-sepia colour and the sun a scarlet red. Anything caught outside seemed to choke on it, people’s eyes watering like the bursts being used to fight the ever-encroaching flames and headaches that pounded like thunder. Ash fell from the sky like morbid snowflakes, settling in the long dry gutters and river beds, suffocating the world in a cloud of white, grey, the only remnants of long-destroyed brush.
And it was hot. God, it was so hot.
California in the summer was always unbearably hot, but weeks straight with no rain in sight had created a landscape that was a tinderbox just waiting to go up in flames. Hell, you had heard stories of fires starting from dry grass just touching a hot tail pipe on a truck that had pulled over. All this to say, it took next to nothing for a spark to take off, burning a forest down in days.
The Douglas River fire had sparked not three days earlier, the cause unknown, and had ballooned in size so rapidly it surprised you how much damage had been done in only a few days. Campsites, a lakeside resort, cabins, and hundreds - if not thousands - of homes were gone. As far as you knew, the casualties continued to rise as fire swept through the region hell-bent on destroying anything in its path. Thousands had already been ordered to evacuate, leaving their homes with nothing more than a few memories packed up in the backseats of their cars and trucks. For some, they left their whole lives behind, scarcely able to grab a single memento of the years they had spent on this Earth.
You wouldn’t let that happen. You couldn’t.
That was why the second you heard of a spot fire, a loose ember latching onto the dry terrain, erupting some 20 miles away, you started packing. Even as you received the evacuation alert, you threw every precious memory you had with your fiancé in boxes and bags, stashing them near the door. You had to be ready at a moment’s notice and you refused to leave anything behind to be devoured.
The crunching of gravel broke you from your thoughts as you watched Bob’s black truck pull into the driveway, the front door swinging open and letting in the smell of burning that clogged your nostrils along with Bob. “Sunshine?” He called out to you, coughing as he pulled his mask off. His normally crystal-clear blue eyes were red and teary behind his glasses, suffering from the effects of the smoke since it had blown in days ago. Now, he was begging silently for it all to stop, for rain to fall, for something, anything to stop this blaze in its tracks, just so he didn’t have to leave the home the two of you had built.
He would personally fight every single ember that crossed your property line if it meant you both could stay. But you couldn’t. The State of California had declared a state of emergency not two hours before and with resources stretched so thin before Douglas River had ignited, things were looking bleak.
“In the kitchen!” You called back, blinking back the sudden wave of emotion that threatened to overcome you. You were staring at the fridge, catching sight of the pictures that you had missed in your initial flurry of packing.
Footsteps sounded on the wooden floors before a ‘thud’ startled you and you whipped around to see your Robby standing there, his eyes red from smoke exposure. “I got most of what we needed. The only thing they were out of was that one jam you like, so I had to grab a different one,” he told you, placing the shopping bag on the table next to the flat of water he’d dropped.
You nodded, chewing on your lip. “Okay, can you put those things in the cooler? I’ve just started moving boxes into my car, we still have to pack the truck, get the sprinklers going, are we going to attach it to the roof? It shouldn’t matter, as long as the ground and bushes are wet and fuck! I forgot ab-”.
You were abruptly cut off by Bob hugging you from behind. His arms wrapped around your waist, tugging you closer to him. You drew in a sharp breath, wincing as your throat tightened and tears started sprouting in your eyes. “I’m sorry,” you whispered. “This is a shitty time to have a breakdown…”
Behind you, Bob shook his head, pressing a kiss to your temple. “You’re scared. Tha’s normal. If you weren’t, Sunshine, I’d be scared if you were standing here completely fine. This is fucking terrifying.” His tone was gentle, muffled behind the N95 he had yet to remove.
You swallowed hard, staring around at the nearly empty kitchen, willing your tears away. There was still so much to do, so much to try and save before the evacuation alert became an order. Before you both were forced to flee. “Yeah..” your voice was quiet, even to your ears. “It’s just…”
“I know.”
The two of you stood there in silence, Bob’s strong arms around your middle, grounding you in this moment. He was there, and no matter what, you two would face this together. “How are Nat and her partner? I heard that their area was under alert earlier.” His squad had become your family too and you were worried for them all, especially for Phoenix, Javy, and Bradley, all of whom you had grown close to.
Bob moved away from you to start packing the cooler and you immediately missed his warmth. “She’s okay. They are at Jake’s right now, Sunshine.” He gave you a soft smile before you heard the ‘clunk’ of drinks landing in the cooler.
“Robby… are you just tossing them in there?” You asked, a smile passing fleetingly across your lips. “You know that we still have to fit the rest of the stuff I bought yesterday in there.”
“Sunshine… would I jus’ throw shit in a bag and call it quits?” The faint drawl in his tone surprised you, given that it usually popped out when Bob was teasing.
You turned to face him, your grandma’s cookbook in your hands. “I don’t know mister. Would you?”
He chuckled, caught red-handed as you peered into the cooler and swatted his arm as you walked by, book in hand. “I’ll fix it, Sugar. Don’t worry about it.”
Shaking your head at his antics, you went to place the book in the last box that hadn’t yet been closed up, but found that you couldn’t find any room. The brief moment of optimism rushed out of you in a heartbeat, your mind flooding with ‘what ifs’ that stole your breath.
You wanted to take everything, but there was only so much that could fit in your car and his truck. Your closet was nearly full, having told yourself that clothes were replaceable and only taking essentials in addition to a few special pieces. The green dress you had worn on your second date with Bob, his favourite on you, had been packed, as well as a few other pieces. But the mere thought of losing it all had tears welling in your eyes again.
There would be pictures left behind. Holiday decorations, some of which had belonged to family members that were long gone, books, blankets, jewelry, that you couldn’t take with you. You had to try your best to pack up your life as you knew it and try and take it with you, cutting out pieces of yourself and memories that were imbued in everything you had in this little house.
You had hidden a few stuffed animals away in the bottom of a box, precious childhood keepsakes that you had never and would never be able to part with. But like everything else in this shitty situation, in this moment, some would be left behind. The child you were was screaming at you, begging and pleading to not leave Mr. Panda and Brownie the Bear behind, but you had to. Your house was full of memories and try as you might, it simply wasn’t possible to take it all with you.
The fear of losing them was enough to have you crumpling to the floor, choking on your tears. This house would still be full when you left. Full of inanimate things that each carried parts of your life and Bob’s, things that held pieces of your both. You couldn’t take the calming blue paint of your bedroom, nor the corner of your living room where Bob had proposed on Christmas Eve.
This was the stuff you wanted to take. To box up and carry far, far away from this place, away from the blaze that bore down on you like a storm ready to snuff out your corner of the world, your safe place.
And you were scared. So fucking terrified that it was a miracle you could even breath with the tightness in your chest. Your home was in danger. Bob was in danger.
But he was there.
Bob was right there the second he heard your knees hit the floor. He ran towards you as you buried your head in your hands and sobbed, your cries indecipherable but so visceral that he knew that they were full of fear and pain without hearing the words. You were pulled into his arms and you turned to sob into his shirt, wetting the fabric with the tears you had held back for too long. He had since discarded the N95 and buried his face in your neck, letting his own tears fall as he mourned almost preemptively.
He hadn’t vocalized his fears to you, not wanting to add to your stress, but having heard that Nat had had to evacuate earlier in the day had shattered the wall he’d built to keep his feelings out. He was scared shitless. Everything you had built together was at risk and it was all so overwhelming that the realization had sent him running from your bed the night before. Ever since the alert went out, you both had gone dancing over the eggshells of your own fears, both not wanting to burden the other.
It had been a mistake to do so. Now the two of you had bottled everything up so tightly, that it exploded out of you in premature grief at the mere possibility of losing it all. “I’m here, Sunshine. It can’t take you from me…” Bob murmured into your skin, sniffling a little. “It won’t. I’m not leavin’.”
You closed your eyes, blocking out the sound of the air purifier, the smoke that hung in the air, the dim sunlight that cast the world in a frightening gold glow, trying to focus on your fiancé. Willing yourself to push past this block, this fear, so you could continue packing, but it was like wading through glue. You were caught in the depths of this panic that it was suffocating you, sapping your will to fight back. Distantly, you felt Bob’s tears on your shoulder, alerting you to the fact that he was suffering too.
He was mourning a life that you two had only begun to share.
A shaky breath left you as you lifted a hand to card through Bob’s sweaty hair, your nails gently scraping his scalp in the way you knew always calmed him. You were trying to comfort him, just as he was trying to do the same to you.
You opened your mouth to say something through your tears when your phones went off, the emergency alert messages blasting through the speakers. Your heart sank. This would be the evacuation order. It had to be.
“No. No, no, no, no!” You cried, tears racing down your face. You felt Bob sigh, unfolding himself to grab his phone, but he held out his hand to you, helping you up. “Robby… please tell me that we have more time.”
From where he stood by the kitchen table, you saw sadness fill his blue eyes, defeat sink into his bones as he answered you. “We don’t. We have to go, Sunshine.” His voice was quiet, barely audible over the blood rushing in your ears.
You were frozen, hardly able to comprehend what was happening. “But I haven’t… the photos. Robby…”
“Grab them. We can find room, but we have to get this stuff in the truck, okay?” When had Bob moved to cup your face in his hands? When did your world come crashing down around you? “Sunshine, I’m sorry, but we have to go.”
You nodded, shaking yourself and grabbed a box, following Bob out to the truck and loading it up. Your neighbours were doing the same, all filled with the same numbing urgency that had seeped into your bones as they packed up as quickly as they could.
A baby wailed a few doors down. Car doors slammed. Shouts echoed as you watched the grey smoke billow in the distance, but it was all at the back of your mind as you packed up both cars, the photo albums tossed haphazardly on the passenger seat.
The furnace was shut off, the propane tank from the barbecue placed in the back seat of Bob’s truck. Everything was disconnected, shut off, or locked away. Cars had begun to leave the neighborhood, driving away to the tune of scared, wailing children, distant sirens, and a primal fear that had settled into the block like the ash falling from the sky.
As you got in your car, watching Bob lock the front door behind him, the finality of this hit you hard. But there was no time to dwell on it. You had to leave and so you did, driving out past the barricade the police had set up, watching as a few cars pulled up and were turned away, wincing as you heard the cries of a child learning that their stuffed animals would have to stay behind.
You felt the same way. You wanted to cry, scream, beg for a reprieve from the smoke and the fear that ricocheted around your body like a deranged pinball machine, but it would be no use. Bob had called your phone the minute you pulled out of the driveway, making sure that the two of you could be connected as you drove.
Out of the neighborhood.
Out of the postal code.
You drove as far as you could go but remained close enough to receive updates on whether or not your home still stood. The both of you had wanted to be close enough to the other Daggers and their families in case they needed help in any way. Javy and his wife were close by, sitting on their hands and waiting for the alert to become an order, but they were safe for the moment. Bob had made sure of that, calling them the minute your neighborhood had fallen under evacuation alert.
They were okay, having started their own packing when you had.
You just wanted everyone to be okay. No more homes turned to burned fragments, no more casualties. Your fiancé had been doing his best to try and distract you, and he had, but your mind was the type to fixate on something for so long that it almost became a part of you.
“…shine? Baby, you there?” Bob’s voice crackled through your car’s Bluetooth. “Are you okay?”
You nodded, forgetting that he wasn’t able to see you. “Yeah,” your voice cracked on the word, making you cringe. “I will be. What were you saying, Robby?”
Bob’s face softened and his heart hurt for you. You were trying so hard to keep it together, the unshed tears making your voice thick in a way he hated to hear. “Just wanted to make sure you knew that the turn for the motel is coming up.”
An ambulance went screaming past in the opposite direction and you flinched. “Okay, yeah. Thanks babe.”
“Hey Sunshine?”
“Robby?”
“Tell me what you first thought about me. Just talk okay?” Bob knew that he had to distract you in some way and you had always refused to entertain his self-doubt that you could have chosen someone better.
You blinked, caught off guard by the randomness of the question. “Well, Mickey introduced us after I refused Jake’s advances and I remember being so afraid to talk to you. You were the reason I kept coming to the bar as often as I did and I thought you were just the prettiest man I’d ever seen.” There was a wide smile on your face as you recalled that one night that had changed both of your lives. “I don’t know what it was about you, maybe just how you seemed to approach every conversation with a level of strategy that didn’t make sense. Or the way that your face went bright red when I came over.”
Bob chuckled at your words. How he’d been so lucky to keep you in his life, he had no idea. You were such a vibrant person, the warmth of your personality coming out when you were around those who you cared for deeply. He’d been half in love with you when you had challenged his opinion on Marvel, playfully debating with him for hours. You had brought light and warmth into his life that he hadn’t known he was missing, and that was the real reason you were his Sunshine.
“… and then you just came alive. I thought you were pretty before, Robby, but after you seemed genuinely interested in my life, in my job, you became so much more than what I had initially thought of you,” you finished your speech in a rush of breath that had Bob laugh on the other end of the call. “It’s hard for me to separate what I feel for you now and what I felt then because I don’t know when they changed.”
Your admission was hushed, like it was a secret that you loved your fiancé long before you had even discussed your future together. Bob grinned, happy that his attempt to distract you had worked. “What about me? You told me once that you didn’t know when I had caught your eye, only that I did.” A pause, before you added semi-playfully, “You distracted me, now it’s my turn.”
He shook his head at your teasing tone. “Sunshine…”
You retaliated, cooing his name over the phone “Robby…”
A beat then you two both started laughing. It felt odd, especially given all the emotions that had flowed out of you not 30 minutes earlier, but you both knew that the other was fraught with a myriad of emotions and hell, laughing was better than crying.
“Okay, okay. I’ll tell ya when we unpack a little at the motel.” You watched Bob’s truck turn onto a side street and you copied the movement, pulling your little red car next to his truck. “Love you baby.”
You shook your head, watching Bob get out of the truck and give you a grin that had you returning the expression. “Love you too!” You had rolled your window down to yell it at him, watching him burst into laughter.
“Come on, let’s go get a room.”
===
An hour later, you were curled up in Bob’s arms as he played with the ends of your hair. “Sunshine?”
“Hmm?”
“It was your laugh.”
You looked up at him in confusion. “What was my laugh?”
“The reason I knew you were my forever. It was real, not fake like I always saw happen to Jake or Bradley. You meant it and I knew that I really couldn’t fuck this up.” Bob’s voice was soft, seemingly afraid to vocalize the words. “When you laughed at my terrible joke, I knew you were genuinely a good person.
“Robby…” You surged up, capturing his lips in a kiss that stole both your breath and his. “I… you are too good to me.”
He shook his head. “I told you when I proposed that I would spend forever trying to earn the love you had given me and if that means showering you in compliments for as long as I have you, then I will.” The sincerity in those blue eyes was almost too much. “And don’t you dare say that I don’t have too. Because you saw me. Quiet, shy, nerdy me.”
“You were never shy, Robby,” you told him, a grin playing on your lips. “I distinctly remember our second anniversary as a couple and nothing about you was shy then.” He rolled his eyes and kissed you again before you continued. “And how could I not see you? The only man I wanted in that bar was you.”
Bob’s head bumped yours and he blew out a sigh. “What did I do to deserve you?”
You shrugged. “I don’t know. Maybe the same thing I did to deserve you?”
A soft huff of laughter left Bob’s lips. Here, in a motel miles away from your home, wrapped up in the arms of your fiancé, you were safe. Whatever befell your house, if the blaze took it, it was a small conciliation to know that you had Bob with you and that you both were okay.
The fire raged on, yet, you both knew that your love would outlast the blaze, even if all was lost. A wildfire couldn’t take his love of you, nor yours of him. It would glow through the smoke and the haze and be your beacon of hope in this time of uncertainty.

A/N: This is a very personal fic; probably the only one like it that I will ever write because of how afraid I am during this time. All the love to @startrekfangirl2233 who slapped me out of the imposter syndrome that hit hard on this one, and yeah. If anyone you know or love is experiencing a wildfire or natural disaster threat, check in with them. It’s such a simple act, but it means so much.
Thank you for reading!

Tumblr media
Warnings: Sexy Smut, Mentions Of Bisexually, Hint Of Insecurity Bout Dentures, Threesome, Wet Dreams and Viewer Discretion Is Advised 🔞
One night, you and Bobby went to bed after you put Anastasia down for bedtime, y'all went to sleep, so while you sleeping, you been dreaming about no other than: Jake 'Hangman' Seresin (the godfather of your daughter and your best friend). And yes even though it's kinda wrong but you couldn't help that he is a handsome man: gorgeous face, nice body to look at, easy on the eyes, and that southern accent you can't help but fell in love with when you first met him with that charm of his. So while dreaming, you wake up in the bed with no clothes on and it's didn't dom on you that you in Jake's room because of his room is full of Texan stuff (especially his Longhorn jersey and his collection of cowboy hats), so as the door opens, you saw almost all his glory in his boxers standing there while your jaw is dropping:
"Hey, darlin," like what you see?" He has a smirk on his face.
"Yes, yes I do." You still in shocked.
So he crawled into the bed towards you, and he looked into your brown eyes, and you said:
"Jakee" you said to him in quietly manner.
"Tell me what you want, sweets." He has a grin on his features.
Then, you starting to feel something wet is because he makes you shiver the way he talks to you, no other man would.
"Oh, baby, you wet for me, all this time you been thinking about me, so I'm gonna give it to you what you want." And so he starting to kiss you, on the neck, on your breasts and you starting to shaking a little bit, because how he touches you. So right before he goes down on you, your husband is calling your name:
"Koko, Koko, KOKO!!!"
"Huh? Oh shit!" You waking from your sleep, and come to realization that you wet the bed.
"I'm so sorry Bobby, this is my fault, babe." You were embarrassed.
"That okay, hun, I know you didn't mean it." He understands.
"Okay, but hey, I'm gonna check on Ana, alright?"
"All right, my love." He changed the sheets.
So it's morning time, and Bob just already got up and getting ready to go to work, while you is fixing some breakfast for Anastasia and Bobby knows you not yourself this morning so he ask her what on her mind:
"Hey, you all right?" He ask
"Yeah, just lot on my mind, babe that all."
"Well do you wanna talk about it when I come back home?"
"Yes, I would like that."
"Okay, sweet girl, but hey I talk to you later when I'm getting back home, okay? Love you." He kisses you on your forehead and Anastasia's as well.
"Okay, love you too baby."
So, while your husband at work, you doing some cleaning, changing some diapers for Ana, making sure the bills pay, so after you did all that, your mind is still lingering about your sexy dreams about Jake, so you were about text Jake or Bob about your confession but you just decided to wait till Bobby comes home tell him everything. So after your husband did come home from Top Gun, you greeted him with a hug and a kiss on the lips.....
"Honey, I'm home." Bob greeted in the house.
"Hey baby boy, how is work?" You ask him bout his day.
"It's interesting but same, so how yours today?" He asked
"It's was fine, and Anastasia is still sleeping. I'm just fed her."
"Well, that good."
"Yeah, but hey, can we talk since you home now? You ask to talk to him.
"Yeah, sure."
So as y'all two sit down in the kitchen table and you starting to speak:
"Okay, remember I have had an accident in the bed since this morning?"
"Yeah, what about it?" He has a concern on his face.
"Well, I've had a weird dream since last night."
"With who?" He wants to know.
"I'm been having dreams about Jake." You confront him about your confession.
"Since, how long you have them dreams?" He wants to know.
"Since we went to the beach and saw his shirt off." Your voice felt shaky but nervous.
"Why didn't you tell me beforehand?" He concerns.
"Because I'm was scared that you gonna leave and divorce me, and I know it's not right to daydream about another man and thinking about him sexu-"
Bob cuts her off
"Baby, you know, I'm not going anywhere, you know that, right?" He holds both your hands.
"I'm know" you nodded.
So surprisingly enough, Bob got an idea....
"But hey, look, I'm know it's out of our marriage, but I will give you a hall pass for one night only with Jake, but on one condition:"
"Okay, what is it?"
"I'm want to watch just for sexual pleasure."
"Okay, that fair." You agree with the agreement with your husband.
"So you gonna call Jake about our agreement?"
"Yeah, but I'm about to text him now."
"Okay, well, I'm gonna check on Anastasia." He went to the living room.
"Alright."
So after your confession with your husband, you are about to text Jake and ask him to come over tomorrow after work:
Koko: Hey, J, what up?
Jake: Hey, darlin, nothing much. Just got some food, and I'm home now. And what about you?
Koko: Ohh, okay, that what up, nothing much, just chilling, doing mom duties, but hey, are you busy tomorrow after work?
Jake: Ohh, okay, understandable, and no, not really. What up, though?
Koko: Can you come over at the house tomorrow and we can have a talk, please?
Jake: Yeah, sure anything for you, so what time you want me to come?
Koko: Around at 4:50
Jake: Okay, no problem, sweets, see you tomorrow.
Koko: Okay, love you cowboy. 🤠😘
Jake: Love you too darlin'.
Tumblr media
So the following day, while Bobby is at work, you doing your housewife duties as usual, and you just waiting for the time passing by, for both of your men to get off from work, and so when Bobby, and Jake coming from work from Top Gun. You were excited to see both of them...
"Hey guys, how work today?" You greeted and hugged both of them.
"Hey Koko, how is my best friend doing today?" Jake smiles towards you.
"I'm doing fine." You give him a smile back to him.
"And how my beautiful goddaughter lately?" He asks you.
"She is doing well, and she is sleeping right now. But hey, since you are here, can we have a chat outside?"
"Yeah, sure darlin'"
So, y'all two walk outside, just to talk about your confession and you being straightforward about it.....
"Okay, since we are outside now, the reason why I'm asking you to come over since yesterday is because I'm have a confession to tell you." You wanna be honest to him.
"Okay, what is it, sweets?" He wants to know.
"Okay, so I'm been having dreams lately, and it's a weird one, but not with my husband." You talking to him while y'all walking in the neighborhood.
"Who is it?" He has concern on his features.
"You" you confess to him
Then, Jake starts to chuckle at first, and he realizes that Koko wasn't joking.....
"Oh, you really are not joking, aren't you sweets?" He was a little surprised.
"No, so that why I'm didn't tell you nor Bobby at first because I was scared you were not gonna talk to me anymore or whatever."
"Sweetheart, you my best friend, and you know I always gonna be here till the day I die, right?" He hugged you while he comforted you.
"Yeah," you nodded at him.
"So what you gonna do next?" He asks you.
"Well, Bobby, give me a hall pass for one night only."
"For what?" He has confused face.
"To have sex with you." You shrugged.
"Oh wow that different but are you sure you want do this? It's no turning back and you know that sweets, pun intended." He being genuinely honest.
"I'm know that J, and yes I'm do." You stated but you accept the agreement.
"All right, as you wish, so when we gonna do it?" He asked went & where.
"Tomorrow night, at your place at 9:00. And I'm got a babysitter for Ana as well." You tell him a time & a place.
"Okay, that fair, so that it or do you have any more secrets that I would like to know?" He wants to know.
"Well I'm do have one more thing: I'm bisexual by the way and also can you bring me a woman for us for a threesome too, please?" You confess him about your sexual orientation.
"Wow, you are full of surprises, aren't you sweets?" He have a grin on his face.
"Honey, you have no idea and hey what can I say? I'm being me." You have a smirk on your features.
And so, after y'all two have a good talk from walking around the neighborhood, Jake take you back to the house safely because it's getting dark soon, so before he leaves he went inside to see Anastasia briefly, then told Bob that he see him later, and y'all two give each other a hug and then he left to go home.....
Tumblr media
The following night, after y'all got a babysitter for Anastasia, you and Bobby are on the way to Jake's house for a little sexy fun, so after y'all arrived at the place, you is wearing one of your graphic dresses, with your slip-on sneakers on but underneath you have on a lace black bra & panties too as well, just to try your best to look cute. And you knock on the door, immediately he answers the door:
"Hey, I'm glad y'all made it." He greeted you in his southern accent.
"Hey, I know, right? I'm just a little nervous, though, you know?
"Hey, hey, you know I got you, you have nothing to be nervous for, darlin, so come on in and make yourselves at home."
So after y'all two went inside, then you see a beautiful brunette woman with nice curvy hips, and she has on a sexy lingerie that covered her curves just bout right.
"Oh Linda, this is Koko and her husband Bob, guys. This is Linda, whom I'm met at the bar yesterday." He introduced y'all to her.
"It's nice to meet you, and you gorgeous, by the way. " You introduce yourself to her.
"Thank you, it's nice to meet you too also, and you beautiful, by the way."
So, after y'all introduced each other, y'all four went to Jake's bedroom, and y'all bout to start, and before you do, you want to say something to Bobby who is sitting down before he enjoy the show.....
"Hey Bobby, are you gonna be okay, right?"
"Baby, this is gonna be a new experience for me, and trust me, I know Jake is gonna take you the way I do, so just have fun it okay?" He said to you with love.
"Okay, love you, baby boy." You smile to him.
"Love you too." He give you a kiss.
Tumblr media
So it's just the three of y'all standing, and so you decided to step forward to Jake to kiss him before y'all have a mutual respect for each other because y'all friends. So while kissing him, his lips taste like sweet honey because of the way he looks at you like that. And so he starting to undressed you, especially unclasped your bra, the way you standing there naked like that, Jake couldn't help that you look beautiful and the way he touches you is like electricity that no one else will besides your husband.
So Jake climbed up the bed, where you laid at he starting to do foreplay on you like kissing on your neck, kissing on your body, kissing & touching on your breasts, he starting to lick on one of your nipples and you arch your back the way he touched you like it's heaven on earth, "Jakeee" you said to him while you moaning on his name, "you look so gorgeous woman" he said to you in a genuine compliment, "tell me what you want darlin." He cooed, "I'm want you to make love with me", you said to him while you look into his beautiful emerald, but however he looked at you scanning from his green eyes he stop for a minute and asked you "what wrong darlin did I'm do something wrong?"
He asked you because he saw the little sadness on your face , "it's just that am I beautiful to you?" You asked him about your insecurities, "why you ask that, sweetheart?" He asked you with a concern face, "is because I'll have dentures, but I'm not wearing them, so I'm not beautiful without them."
"Sweetheart you're still beautiful with or without them for the moment that I'll first saw you at the bar but however it's was my first time saw you without them for the first time when you gone in labor with Ana. But look at the end of the day. I don't care whether you have dentures or not.
You are still beautiful to me, okay?" He said to you with the most genuine way with a smile on his face that made your heart skip a beat little bit and make your cheeks blush as well too because of his genuine honest opinion. So after hours y'all two looking at each other, you forgot about Linda and your husband.
"Oh shit we forgot about Linda." She fell asleep while we taking sweet time, Bob is sleep too as well, you & him are chuckling at each other that y'all taking too damn long but while y'all still in the bed, so as he kissed your palm then, out of nowhere Jake starting to fingering you in your vagina with that big hand of his and teasing you with his infamous smirk on face in a playful way and you starting to moan the way you saying his name:
"Jakeee I'ma bout t-to, bout to.", "it's okay babygirl cum for me it's alright just cum to my fingers okay?" He said to you in a low but stern voice, after you finally came for him in a loud voice of yours because you can't help it the way you make sound after you climaxed, Linda & Bob just waking up and she said "it's the party still going on?"
"Yes baby, it's still going on, and here you're dessert."
Jake said to her with the lust in his green eyes, so as she climbs to the bed where Jake & Koko at, she starts to kiss on Koko's lips, while she making out with her, she started to touch on her breasts playing with them, while Linda is using her fingers to rubbing on her clit, Jake kissing on her shoulder, it's starting to make Bob more horny than ever, his cock is starting to get hard as a rock while he watching his wife having a threesome with Jake & Linda in the bed.
So after Linda finished her making out sessions with you, the final climax of the night is when you want Jake to come inside you: "okay darlin are you ready for your gift bag?" He said to you with a grin, "yes Jake I'm ready for it." You said to him with a mischievous smirk on your face, "okay sweets", so when he take off his boxers and long be hold that his dick is big but is hard as a rock the way it's look and your jaw drop because it's just you pictured it in your head cause of the dream that you have with him wearing only his boxers and his dick is poking out like that...
So as he climbs back to his bed yall switched sides from the bed so as he laying down resting himself in between your legs making sure you felt comfortable as he put his hands around your wrist making sure you straight though, "okay sweets I'm gonna try to take it nice & slow, but try to make it painless as possible as I'm can, okay?
Now, if you want me to stop: tap my arm, but I just want to make sure you are comfortable with that all." Jake always been a gentleman even though he can be cocky but arrogant sometimes but he still do got that southern gentleman likeable which I'm really like from him plus he would do anything for you because he do have a heart. "Okay I'm trust you Jake" you said to him, he smiled down at you with a kiss on your temple so as he lining himself up to your entrance and you is wrapping your hands on both of his shoulders & back soon he's gently pushing in, you eyes is sneezing almost close the way he put your tip in you. "Ouch." You felt it as he entered you, "Are you okay?" Jake asked, "mmhm, you okay keep going, " you tell him while you mutter, "Little more baby girl, I promise hold on.
"Jake promises you. Once he bottomed out, you whimper, "Hey, hey, look at me. You know I will never hurt you, you know that, right?" He said to you with a promise, "Yeah, I know," you said to him back, "Okay, I'm gonna start moving, alright?", "Okay" you whisper.
As soon he starts his movements, he draws himself out of you as easily as he can before he's can thrust back in. You start groaning more loudly as you wrap an arm around his shoulder as he starts to move his hips around you, the pain feeling slowly transitioning into white flashes of pressure. He's stretched you out with each thrust. But he remains at the same tempo & depth. However, you can feel your insides to start beginning to shake.
"You close babygirl, you are so close," Jake muttered, "Jake I'm bou- bout to" you moan while you trying to found the words to him, "that it sweetie, you wanna come?, you can come I got you". He said to you, so as y'all climaxing, you give into the feeling that soon y'all spilling over the edge as he reaches in between of your pressed bodies and he rubs your clit for added pleasure. Jake growls in your ear as both of you kiss on the lips.
So after y'all done having sex, you, Jake, & Linda are looking at Bob with a concerned face of yours, making sure he is okay. "Bobby, hey baby, are you good, you straight?"
You said to him, "That. was. INCREDIBLE!!!" He said with an exciting shock look on his face, "wow I'm can't believe it's making me more horny after seeing this, though, but anyway, you good baby?"
He asked you, "Yeah, we're good, " you said to him back as you smiled at both of them. "Hey Koko, let me clean you up before you leave, okay?",
"Okay," you nodded, "Well, I'm bout to head out, and thanks for the fun, including you, Koko." Linda said farewell to yall, and she kissed Koko for a goodbye one more time.
So afterwards Jake cleaned you up, as y'all bout to head home Jake bout to tell you something: "hey guys", "mhmm what up love" you said to him, "I'm know y'all bout to go home to check on Ana but would be okay for y'all to stay at my place for the night because it's already getting late and I'm don't want y'all to be out this time of the night though is that okay for yall?" Jake asked y'all, "You okay with it, Bobby?" You nodded, "Yeah, sure that be okay, but how we gonna tell Rooster that we spend the night at Jake's house, they gonna think you cheated on me or else. " Bob worried, knowing the fact he babysitting y'all daughter at the house though. "Don't worry, we tell him that we check in at a hotel for the night, and nobody wouldn't know. She winks at you with a grin.

“Fuck me.”
You were there, a one shouldered brown sundress on your body, stiletto heel sandals on your feet that made your legs look extra long. And there was a pilot in front of you, first time back on the east coast in a while. Right now, he was staring at you like you were a glass of water and he was parched. Not what you expected but you were going to roll with it.
“Nice to see you too, Bradley. I thought you were staying in San Diego,” you replied, crossing your legs. You swear it looks like Bradley’s eyes were crossed as he stared at your legs.
Several moments passed and you smirked. Bradley finally replied, “You know I prefer it when you call me Rooster. Brad or Bradley only at other times. But yeah, I’m stationed in San Diego but I had to come out for Will and Stacy’s wedding.”
“How nice of you.”
You stood up, turning around and letting Bradley see the full effect of your dress. There was a strangled groan and you smiled to yourself. You had worn this dress on a whim, fully expecting to have wasted it but Bradley made your night.
Even though tonight was just a get together for Will and Stacy’s fellow UVA NROTC pals before the wedding, Bradley made sure he was by your side the whole time. And you teased him for it. It was fair game; he had been teasing you through the years with that perfect body. Now that you knew he was just as attracted, you were going to make him pay.
Well, that was your thought until you did Blow Job shots with a couple of other girls. Bradley’s eyes flashed brown fire and you found yourself pulled out of the hotel restaurant and into an elevator. Right now, as the elevator went up to your room, you had a Naval Aviator’s hand under your dress, his other hand holding your face as years of repressed attraction finally burst through.
Once you two were at your room, Bradley’s head was under your dress, his name on your lips. The next day, at the wedding rehearsal, you were deliciously sore and making plans for a trip to San Diego.
***
Bob
The purple sundress graced your curves, picked out by Bob this morning. The halter was the perfect support and you were wearing the light cotton thong Bob had picked out.
Bob was in a very playful mood. Part of you should be scared but you were excited. “No, take those off,” Bob said, holding a pair of brief panties. Not the sexiest and you frowned for a second. Then you saw what was in Bob’s other hand.
“Lieutenant Floyd, you are up to no good,” you gasped. Bob smiled at you wickedly, his slate blue eyes brimming with mischief.
Sliding the thong down your legs, you threw it at Bob. He picked it up and sniffed it as you put on the briefs. “I’ll do it myself,” Bob said before you pulled the briefs all the way up. He placed the egg vibrator into you, smirking as he realized you were already wet at the thought of the game. Then he pulled the briefs up, covering the vibrator.
The whole time at the barbecue you two were throwing, you tried so hard to focus on everything but the vibrating egg inside of you. But whenever you least expected it, your shy aviator made it go, turning you into a wet mess. Halfway through, you had to go to the bathroom because you could feel your slick on your thighs.
Like a stealth pilot he was, Bob followed you, locking the door behind him as you stood in front of the mirror in your bathroom. “You’ve been so good for me, letting me play with you. And you’re so fucking sexy in this dress.”
A hand pushed you down onto the sink as you felt cool air on your bottom. Your dress was flipped up, panties on the floor as the vibrations were turned up extra high.
“If you can cum without screaming in the next five minutes, I’ll let you top me tonight,” were the smooth words you heard before you shoved your fist in your mouth, the first orgasm already racking through your body.
*****
Hangman
Your blue dress rippled around your thick thighs as you swayed with each step. You looked good and felt good as you stepped into The Hard Deck.
Making your way towards the bar, a hard arm pulled you into a rock hard body. “Didn’t I tell you that this dress was for my eyes only?”
You smirked as Jake nipped your ear. The sundress had a dangerous slit and Jake’s fingers had found it already. “You know I don’t like sharing what’s mine,” Jake added.
“Hmm, that sounds like a Hangman problem,” you retorted, letting Jake guide you towards the back with his hand on the small of your back. Then he guided you outside of it, pulling you toward his truck.
Green eyes gleaming, Jake replied, “Darlin’, i love it when you get bratty.”
Then you were bent over and Jake whistled. You hadn’t bothered with underwear at all. Then there was a smack and you gasped. Then Jake spanked you again, admiring how your skin heated under his hands. At first, he was just going to punish you for disobeying. But he needed to mark his property properly.
Undoing his belt, Jake unbuttoned his pants and took out his cock. Fingering his girl, he murmured, “Can you be quiet for me, darlin’? Or are you going to keep disobeying,” his Texan drawl intensifying with his arousal.
You shook your head as you felt two fingers curl right on your gspot. Jake’s ministrations and the high stakes of your position had you ready to go for him. And when he finally entered you, you gasped, pushing back.
“Love it when you fuck back on me, sugar. Yeah, this is your cock,” Jake harshly whispered as he fucked you hard. It was quick and rough, just enough for both of you to cum hard but quietly, Jake’s seed deep inside of your cunt.
Pulling your dress down, you licked your lips. Jake groaned as he pulled you close to him. “You look fucked out, darlin’. Now though, everyone will know who you belong to.”

“You two are hopeless,” Bradley comments.
“Why?” Natasha asks, looking away from your smug grin and Jake’s unamused expression.
Bob continues munching on his snack of the night, watching you beat Jake in a game of pool.
“You two should just- I don’t know, confess or something.”
“What would that do?”
“Get you two to stop being lovesick morons, for one. Two, she’d stop yapping about how cute you two are and how- crap.”
Natasha’s hand slips off Bobs arm as she pushes herself off the stool beside him. “How what?”
Bradley closes his eyes, taking a deep breath, knowing that you’d kill him if you found out what he’s told her. “I already told you too much. You can figure it out by now.”
Bob slips away from the two, placing a hand on Natasha’s back, patting it once letting her know he’ll be stepping away. He also wants to get away before the two best friends start bickering.
-
You look away from the blond, not so cocky man formerly known as Hangman (now Bagman or Loserman) to find the sweet and handsome back seater. “Hey, you,” you smile.
He smiles, leaning into whisper about what you can do to sink Jake and win the bet the others made.
Your lips tug into a smile, chuckling because you know he’s right. “I can’t believe I didn’t think of that,” you whisper.
“You would have thought about it eventually. You’re a smart girl.”
You suck in your bottom lip, nibbling on it, wondering if he’s flirting with you or just being nice.
“Hey, gossiping hens.”
You suck in your cheeks, pursing your lips at the interruption. You turn around, “what?”
“You gonna keep talking or are you gonna play?”
“But we’re talking about how great your hair looks. I was asking Bob if he knew what hair gel you used, you know, get started on your Christmas gift.”
Bob covers his mouth, snickering at your comment.
-
Bradley stops talking which annoys Natasha. She wants to know what else you’ve told him. He smirks, taking a sip of his beer. Her brows knit together, “what? Why are you smirking like that?”
He uses his drink to gesture at you and Bob. “Looks like he’s the first one to make a move.”
She turns, smiling when you and Bob glance at one another.
The two of you laugh about something most likely related to Jake, who looks annoyed more than anything.
“Maybe you could learn a thing or two from him.”
“Shut up.” She nudges his ribs before pushing herself out of the chair, passing him.
-
She walks up behind Bob, placing her hand on his lower back. He looks down, the two share a smile, glancing back to you watching as you bump your hip against the sore loser.
“Where are my winnings?” You look at the others.
Javy pauses in his movements to count his money. The greedy smile falls from his face, he looks up, “what?”
You purse your lips, “you won because of me. I think it’s fair you give me some of your winnings.”
“He won that fair and square,” Jake adds.
You hold your hand out and receive a twenty. “Thank you, kind, sir.” You skip back towards Bob and Natasha, looking over your shoulder to say, “yeah and he won by betting against your ass.”
Jake’s head snaps in Javy’s direction, “bet on what?”
-
You turn back to the two, “how should I spend this bad boy?”
“You should save it.” “Spend it on dinner.” Bob and Natasha say at the same time.
You nod, taking their ideas into consideration. “I’m gonna get me another drink. Should I get another round?”
“No, I think Jake’s paying this time,” Natasha smirks.
You nod, “okay. Do you two want anything?”
She shakes her head, “no, sweetheart. We’re fine.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah,” Bob nods.
“I’ll be right back.” You turn around to walk towards the center of the bar.
Her hand on your lower back stops you, “we’ll come with you,” she reaches for Bob’s hand, pulling him along with you two.
“Okay.”
-
Natasha guides you toward the door.
Bob steps ahead of you two, holding the door open.
You furrow your brows, “what’re we doing out here? Are you two, okay? Is someone sick?”
She smiles, “no, we’re all good.”
“Do you want me to drop you have at base? I can drive, I have no problem-”
“Jesus, Bob. Couldn’t wait a few more minutes, could you?”
He pulls away, his hands are still cupping your cheeks, studying you.
You lick your lips before opening your eyes.
“I think you killed her,” she comments with an amused tone.
His eyes widen, looking over at her. “I should have-”
You breath out, “wow.”
“Maybe you made her horny?” Natasha jokes, nudging Bob’s side with her elbow.
His eyes widen and eyebrows are up high on his forehead in surprise, “did I?”
“She doesn’t look like her normal self, now does she?”
The blood seems to rush back to your head, you can properly think again… sort of. “Wow that- can we do it again?”
She smirks, crossing her arms, giving him a smug grin, “good job.”
His head snaps back to you, checking to make sure you’re not joking (not that you would). “Wait- you liked it?”
You enthusiastically nod, “yeah! Why wouldn’t I? I mean I’ve got the cutest WSO kissing me and his pilot slash partner holding my hand. I’m quite literally in between the hottest people I know.”
“The hottest?” he mutters.
You reach up, holding onto his wrists, rubbing your thumb against the inside of his arm.
Natasha smirks, pecking his warm cheek, “and you were worried she didn’t like us.”
You turn to look at her, “you two talk about me?”
She nods, taking one of Bob’s hands off your cheek so, she can look at you properly. “All we talk about.”
None of you say something for some time.
“I think the other girls are jealous,” you blurt out.
He slides his other hand off your cheek, holding one side of your waist while Natasha wraps her arm around the other side.
“What girls?” She leads the two of you away from the front of the Hard Deck.
“The customers that come around here.”
She nods, “what made you bring them up?”
“The girls that come around almost always ask if either of you are available.”
“And what do you tell them?”
Bob unwraps his arm from you, scrambling to find your car keys (you two carpooled together and Natasha arrived with Micky and Reuben).
“I wasn’t sure and if you two were, I don’t think they would be interested because of your job… and they’re not the nicest girls. Sometimes they’ll ask if I’m jealous when they thought they were going to get together with either one you."
“And what would you say?”
“I’d be honest and say no… I also hoped you wouldn’t get together with them.”
She pulls you closer, hugging you from behind, “why didn’t you say anything?”
“Why didn’t you?”
“We didn’t know if you were interested in either of us or if you would be comfortable dating the two of us.”
He unlocks the car, opening the back door, waiting for the two of you to get in.
You let out a quiet laugh, “you want to date me. You want to kiss me-”
“Stop quoting Miss Congeniality and get in the car.”
You look over your shoulder to whisper, “I think Billy Bob is hangry.”
She leans in, her mouth hovering over your cheek, “I think you’re right.” She unwraps her arms from your waist, pushing you into the backseat, crawling in after you.
Once the two of you settle into the back, Bob makes his way to the driver’s side.
“I feel bad.”
Natasha places her hand on your thigh, “why?”
“Bobs in front alone,” you pout, leaning against the driver’s seat, resting your cheek beside his shoulder.
Her hand slides off your thigh, she buckles her seatbelt watching you two.
He chuckles, shaking his head, “sit back and put your seatbelt on.”
You push yourself up, pecking his check before sitting back down.
She pulls you closer to her, putting you in the middle seat buckling your seatbelt for you, setting her hand on your thigh again. “You’re gonna turn him into a brat,” she whispers.
You shake your head, “no I’m not.”
She nods, “you’re already spoiling him. He’s gonna get greedy.”
You glance over at him, catching his gaze in the rear-view mirror. “Maybe it wouldn’t be a bad thing.”
“Oh,” she tilts her head before leaning in to give you a short kiss. “You’re gonna be so much trouble for me, aren’t you?”
The corners of your lips tug upwards, “no,” you deny even though all of you know that it’s the truth.
She chuckles, “Liar.”
You pout, turning your head in Bob’s direction, “She’s being mean.”
“Welcome to my world.”
“Should we gang up on her?”
He shakes his head, “she’d like that too much.”
Natasha hums, “now I have two brats.”
You shake your head, “no, you have sweet Billy Bob and a-”
“An angel.” “An evil minx.” The two say.
“You two went in completely different directions.”
“That’s because you spoil him.”
“He deserves to be spoiled.”
“Oh, that’s gonna go right to his head.”
-
The car stops, you glance out the window. “We’re at my house.”
Bob pauses, looking back to you, nervous that he made a mistake. “Did you not want us-”
You shake your head, “oh no, no, no, no, no. It’s okay. I’m good with you two coming over. I mean, you spent the night-”
Natasha pulls her head back, “Bob stayed over? Last night?”
“Well, I mean, yeah.”
“Bastard,” she mutters to herself, purposefully loud enough for you to hear.
“I feel like I shouldn’t have said anything but, he helped me get home without spilling the beer on me too much.”
She furrows her brows, “wait- what happened last night?”
Bob opens the door, holding his hand out for her.
She accepts and gets out without ease. She turns, doing the same for you.
“Thank-” You stop, feeling a larger hand across your stomach, saving you from falling flat on your face. You blow out the breath you were holding. “Thank you, both of you. Um, anyway.” You pull your hand out of her grasp digging into your purse to find your house keys. “Bob saw the waitress Penny just hired spill her tray off drinks on me and was nice enough to drive me home and then asshat-”
Natasha turns to Bob who leans down to whisper, “Jake.”
“- was a complete jerk and told poor Billy Bob to find his own place to stay because he conveniently forgot he lent his spare room to Coyote.” You turn the keys in the lock, opening the door.
You step inside to turn on the light. “And he crashed in the spare room.” You toe off your shoes, bending down to grab them. “You two can get comfortable, take off your shoes, looser clothes whatever. Don’t feel like you have to stay in your off-duty clothes. I put your bags at the end of the bed. I’ll be right back.”
-
Natasha turns with a raised brow, “you stayed here?”
“Don’t give me that look. You told me you went to see your family. I know it’s been a while since you saw any of them. I thought it would be nice for you not to worry and enjoy yourself.”
“You should have told me.” She takes a step towards him, cupping his cheek, “now, I’m gonna worry about you not having a place to stay. Are you still looking for an apartment?”
“Yeah.”
“Still nothing?”
He nods, “we should probably change into something else. She won’t like the fact that we’ve stood here talking when we could have been getting into something a little more comfortable.” He takes her hand off his cheek, holding it as he leads her towards the spare room, finding their bags exactly where you said.
A small smile dances across his lips.
“You’re so whipped,” she teases, pecking his cheek, wrapping one arm around his waist.
“I like to think of it as me, being too nice.”
“She’s spoiled you and you haven’t been with her for a whole twenty-four hours.”
-
The two make their way to your room, opening the door.
Natasha pushes the door open, “hey, we wanted to-”
Bob covers his eyes before peeking to look over at Natasha. He sees she’s still drooling staring at you and cover her eyes. He pulls the two out of the doorway, trying to turn the corner without getting injured.
You throw a random pair of sweatpants on, “sorry, I was looking for my warm pajama pants, but I can’t info them.”
“No,” he clears his throat. “It’s okay. We’ll be in the living room.”
Once the two make it down the hallway, Bob removes his hands.
-
The two sit on the couch.
She turns with pouty lips, “why’d you pull me away?”
He shakes his head, “you’re going to corrupt her.”
Natasha scoffs, “I was not.”
You knock on the doorway, “do you two want anything to drink or eat? I was thinking we could watch a movie or something. Unless you guys are too tired then we can do this some other time.”
“No, no, that sounds like fun. I’ll help you, Bob,” she pats his thigh. “Can pick the movie.”
Your lips stretch into a wide smile, “okay.”
-
The microwave hums as it pops the first bag of popcorn.
She can’t help herself as she thinks about you standing in your room, wearing a shirt that only covers so much, showing off your cute clothed covered behind. “Do you really walk around like that?”
You cross your arms, “I was looking for my pajama pants, but I couldn’t find them.”
She leans against the counter, “you realize that was torture for us, right?”
You tilt your head, “it was?”
She hums, moving towards you, wrapping her arms around your waist, hugging you from behind. “Why wouldn’t it?”
You shrug, “I don’t know.”
“How long have you had the spare room for?”
“Ever since I got here. I wanted to use it as a craft room, but it never worked out and there have been a few times where Amelia needed a place to stay while Penny took care of some things. But now that she’s older and has friends, she hasn’t needed to spend the night.”
“Do you get lonely?”
“Not so much before.”
“What changed?”
You move closer to the microwave, pulling out the first bag. You pull the big bowl you had on the counter, open it with a hiss when the steam hits your skin.
“Careful.”
“I would be if I didn’t have a phoenix on my back.”
“I bet.”
“Hey, I think I found a movie. It’s a horror,” Bob pauses, watching the two of you. “Movie,” he says slowly.
You turn around after starting the microwave again, “Bob?”
“Yes?”
“Can you help me with the popcorn. Princess Phoenix won’t let me go.”
His lips tug upwards into a small smile, “of course.”
“Thank you.”
She groans, resting her forehead on your shoulder, “you couldn’t use a different nickname?”
You chuckle, “no. I mean I could call you Phoxy but it felt more like a Princess Phoenix moment.”
“What nicknames do you have for us?”
“For you, Phoxy but with a “ph” for obvious reasons and of course, Princess Phoenix. and then Bob, Billy Bob.”
“Or baby,” he adds, looking for something to drink in your fridge.
“Baby?” She asks, wanting to make sure she heard you correctly.
You stutter to get a response out, “well- I mean- he’s adorable, you can’t tell me you don’t want to call him baby.”
“Or the baby,” Bob says.
You glare at him, “you can stop talking now.”
“It’s cute,” Natasha assures you.
You shake your head, “I don’t want to be cute. I want to be fierce.”
“That’s not gonna happen.”
“You’re so mean. Bob, I can be fierce, right?”
He looks up from opening his soda, “yeah.”
You point your finger at him, “you hesitated.” You turn to Natasha, “he hesitated. I don’t want to watch a movie with you two.” You shove her arms off you and stomp away, fulling committing to the bit.
“You get her, I’ve got the popcorn,” she tells him.
-
You pretend like you’re gonna walk down the hallway when a pair of arms wrap around your waist. You try to push his hands off but fail. You let out a quiet, “oof” when you two land on the couch. You’re pulled back down every time you try to get up.
Bob moves you, hovering above you.
Natasha’s light footsteps get closer, you arch your back, pouting up at her. “He’s not letting me go. Help.”
She tilts her head, “I don’t know. I kinda like looking at you from this angle.”
You glance down to see Bob’s face snuggled into your stomach, so he doesn’t look at your semi unclothed chest. You try to pull up your shirt but can’t with him laying on you.
“You two gonna make room for me?”
You try to respond when you’re in the air. You squeal and automatically wrap your arms around his neck. You turn your head, taking note of how much space Natasha has on the couch. You then realize you’re in Bob’s lap… and he’s not letting go.
She grabs a handful of popcorn, popping a few pieces into her mouth. “I’d rather watch you two than the movie.”
You whine, trying to get out of his lap, “you can let me go now.”
“He won’t let you go, he’s in boob canyon.”
“But the movie.”
“Should we move this to the bedroom?”
You nod, “yeah, you’re gonna get scared.”
“No, I’m not,” she denies.
“We’ve had a movie night and Fanboy chose a horror movie. We were barely five minutes into it, and you were covering your face with your hands.”
“That wasn’t because of the movie.”
“Really?”
“Okay, fine maybe it was but, I want to snuggle too.”
“Yeah, I don’t know if you’ll get to.” You glance down at adorable man holding you, “Bob’s pretty admit on staying where he is.”
“He won’t let go of you.”
“I’m sensing that now.”
“Are we going to watch the movie your room or the spare room?”
“We can-”
You yelp, tightly wrapping your arms around his neck once more.
-
You find yourself staring at the ceiling of your bedroom.
Bob snuggles further into you.
Natasha walks into the room, hands you the bowl of popcorn before placing a blanket over the two of you.
You snack on a couple of pieces, “looks like Bob made his choice.”
“Usually when he gets like this, I tell him five more minutes before I roll him off the bed.”
You gasp, “that’s so mean.”
He shrugs, “she’s only done it once. I was okay though.”
“Was that why you had a bruise on your forehead a few months ago?”
“No. He wanted to try a new position and he fell,” Natasha informs you.
“Mkay,” you say slowly, sounding like you don’t quite believe her.
She settles onto the other side of the bed, covering herself in a blanket. “Don’t look at me like that.” She snatches the bowl from you.
“I’m not giving you any look.”
“You are.”
“Am not.”
“Let’s just cuddle and watch the movie,” Bob mumbles.
You smile, nodding, “I like baby’s idea.”
She snorts, covering her mouth to prevent her from breaking into a full fit of laughter. “Me too.”
-
It’s safe to say, you three went on a date later that week and they officially asked you to be their girlfriend… you may have also asked them to live with you a few months after that and let’s just say, you had the best night’s sleep of your life and were a little sore the next day.

Staring into the mirror one last time, you frown slightly. Maggie had convinced you to put on a sundress and why you had no idea. Never one to wear dresses or anything that showed off your body, really, this was so far out of your comfort zone as it could be. But Maggie had been very persuasive, insisting you looked beautiful and that ‘it hugs your curves perfectly’.
Recently moved to San Diego, Maggie was quick to take you under her wing when she met you that first day at work. And she had quickly become a great friend. Only problem? She was gorgeous, almost too confident for her own good and always so damn positive. Practically perfect. The polar opposite of you. At least you felt so.
You had never really had the biggest confidence. Teased as a kid, rejected as an adult, both because of your size. You’d always had a little too much ‘junk in the trunk’. People had insisted you were still pretty, but several guys had proven you differently, by either rejecting you or by choosing your friends over you.
So when Maggie had suggested squeezing you into a sundress and to go drinking with a friend of hers, you had instantly hated the idea. A night out with not only one, but two beautiful girls? You already knew you’d sit alone while they were swarmed with guys.
And it didn’t exactly make it better that they wanted to take you to Miramar, to this bar called ‘The Hard Deck’. Apparently full of pilots and various navy personnel from the nearby base.
Tumblr media
As soon as you enter the bar, you already regret it. Packed with men and women in uniform or civilians hoping to bag a pilot for the night, you felt like a fish out of water. You smooth down the dress, fidgeting nervously with your hands. Maggie just grabs you by the hand and drags you to a table where her friend is waiting. Giving you both a hug, she then smirks with a raised brow.
“That guy I flirted with last weekend is here and he brought some friends.”
“Uh, that's perfect, where is he?”
She points ahead. Following her finger, you find a group of uniformed people standing around a table. As you spot the very handsome men, you just roll your eyes and sit down. So, they’ve already selected their targets for the night, so now you mentally begin counting down to being left alone at the table.
“Look at those two. They are so sexy!”
“The one with the Freddie Mercury mustache and the Ken doll?”
While Liz looks horrified, Maggie just rolls her eyes, punching you lightly on the arm. “They are gorgeous!”
“Yeah, okay. They are. But that’s the problem. They know how gorgeous they are. They’re probably too cocky for their own good.”
“Just the way we like them.”
All you can do is shake your head at them. Okay, so you had to admit they were hot. Maybe this was just you knowing you’d never even be considered to be in their league, so rather just make it seem like you don’t care. Just to tease Maggie and Liz, you make a sound of disgust. Liz turns to you, smiling softly.
“Fine, who would you pick then?”
“None, cause no one here would pick a girl like me.”
Her smile falters, caught by surprise. Maggie puts a hand on your arm and just as she is about to protest, you stop her. She always does this, bless her heart, but you don’t need it tonight. You wouldn’t call yourself ugly by no means, actually having quite a nice face and a pretty smile, if you had so say so yourself. But the guys here, well guys in general, tend to choose the prettier and slimmer girls. So you were used to getting shot down.
“I know what you’re gonna say. ‘You are beautiful, I wish you could see yourself as I see you’. Well, I don’t and it’s okay.”
None of them answer, they just look sad. Trying to lighten the mood, you push away from the table, giving Maggie’s shoulder a soft squeeze, while shooting Liz a smile.
“I’ll go get something to drink. If I’m gonna watch you two hit on Freddie and Ken, I’m gonna need some liquor.”
They laugh softly as you walk away, more out of pity than because it was funny, you imagine.
Standing at the bar, you wait patiently for your turn. A huge roar of laughter from the pool table makes you look at them, smiling a little. As you look them all over, you stop when you see a guy sitting on a stool a little to the side. He’s swaying gently to the music, looking at what you think is his teammates playing pool. He pushes his glasses up his nose, before saying something to the others, making them laugh.
“What can I get you?”
You’re met with a bright smile by the woman behind the bar. You give your order and wait patiently. You look back towards the pool table and the guy with glasses is looking at you, a soft smile on his face. By force of habit, never believing anyone would look at you, you look to your side. There’s a pretty blonde with a radiant smile, laughing with her friend. You feel a little sting of pain in your chest, but quickly push it away. You get the drinks and quickly make your way back to your table.
Tumblr media
An hour later, Liz is flirting shamelessly with the one of the guys at the pool table. His friend is eyeing Maggie across the room, sending her soft smiles, which leaves her giggling like a schoolgirl. You've only been here an hour and you’re already annoyed. None of them notice you or talk to you, so maybe you should just go home.
“God, can you believe how hot he is?” Maggie bites her lip, squeezing your arm as she is practically squealing. And as if on cue, Liz drags the guys with her to the table. Ken for herself and Freddie for Maggie. But then you notice the guy with the glasses following behind them. He smiles shyly when he sees you sitting at the table.
They all sit down, so they sit together in pairs, leaving you with Glasses. He is even cuter up close, his face really sweet and his blue eyes soft. He pushes his glasses in place, giving you another soft smile, before he nervously dries his hands on his pants. He extends his hand to you.
“Hi. I’m Bob. Well, Robert, but they call me Bob.”
“Hi Bob.”
You shake his hand while giving him your name, discreetly looking him over. Very handsome and polite. Not bad.
“So, ehm, are you having a great evening?”
Just as you’re about to answer him, you hear Maggie and Liz laughing behind him. They are all over their guys, looking like they’re 10 minutes away from dragging them home. Huffing in defeat, you realize what is happening. Bob’s buddies wanted to talk to Maggie and Liz, but she had probably insisted that they couldn’t leave you alone, so they had to get someone to distract you. So Bob here was taking one for the team. Of course.
“Look Bob. I know you’re only talking to me because the Abercrombie and Fitch models over there wanted to talk to my friends and had to get rid of me. But I’m letting you off the hook.”
You take a huge sip of your beer, already feeling the heat creep up your cheeks. This was so embarrassing. When you look back at him, Bob’s smile is gone, looking confused. Had it been under other circumstances, you would have loved for someone like him to hit on you. Always had a thing for guys with glasses. He actually seems sweet, but you don’t just wanna be some charity case.
“I can act like I’m going to the bathroom and then slip out. I’m sorry they stuck you with me.”
As you turn to get away, a hand softly grips your wrist, barely holding on as if he’s afraid of hurting you. Turning, you see Bob looking into your eyes.
“They didn’t.”
He gives you a soft smile and you find it hard being mad. He’s good, you’d have to give him that. Crossing your arms, you look him straight in the eyes.
“Oh, so you’re telling me they got the pretty girls, and you don’t mind being stuck with me?”
You don’t exactly gesture towards your body, but your tone is clear. How would a handsome and fit guy like him not want one of the other girls in the bar instead of you?
“I’m sorry, but… I think you’ve misunderstood this whole thing.”
His cheeks are a bright red as he searches for the right words to say, leaning a little closer to you.
“I-I wanted to talk to you. Hangman… or Abercrombie and Fitch 1” he chuckles softly, looking even cuter than ever as his eyes light up, “is, ehm, he’s taking one for the team.”
He laughs softly, looking so nervous it’s a wonder he even managed to say that to you. Searching his face, trying to figure out if he’s lying, you see only sincerity.
“Really?”
He nods softly. You can’t quite believe his words, thinking back to how confident Liz was earlier. But sure enough, you find the guy next to her looking bored. He smiles politely and almost looks interested in what she’s saying, but whenever she looks away, he rolls his eyes. Well, this had to be a first. You’ll never tell her, of course.
“How is he not interested? She’s gorgeous. And didn’t they flirt last weekend?”
“She talks too much.”
He shrugs a little and you can’t help but laugh. When the laughter dies, you look back into his beautiful blue eyes. Maybe he is telling you the truth, maybe he really is interested in you. You find it really hard to believe, but something in the way he looks at you, makes you wanna give him a chance. He really is quite handsome.
“Okay, Bob. Tell me a little about yourself.”
Tumblr media
A few hours later, you’re sitting alone on the beach with Bob. Maggie and Rooster took off an hour ago, going to her place. You already knew you’d hear all about it tomorrow. As for Hangman and Liz, that’s a different story. He had actually done the old disappearing act, slipping out of the bar after a trip to the bathroom.
But Bob was still here, sitting beside you, much to your surprise. The last few hours in his company had been great. He was a little shy, not really talking at times, but when he did, he had been incredibly charming, sweet and had made you laugh. With each little smile, you could feel your heart flutter a little. And each time he would wrinkle his nose as he pushed up his glasses, you couldn’t stop smiling.
An hour ago he had looked at his watch, declaring that the sunrise was an hour away. You’d never seen a sunrise with anyone, so when Bob asked if you wanted to stay for it, you couldn’t say no. So that’s how you found yourself still here, so close to him that you could feel the warmth from his body.
The sun was slowly rising in the horizon, the warm colors breaking the dark sky. You feel a finger softly brush against your hand, before his entire hand comes to rest on top of yours. You swallow hard, afraid to look down as if it would break the spell. He’s barely touched you yet, but your body is on fire.
This is the single most romantic thing to ever happen to you and you feel like you can barely breathe. You wanna kiss him, but there’s still that little voice in your head telling you this is all a dream. Bob softly speaks your name and when you turn your head, he’s so close you can feel his breath on your skin. Wetting his lips, he looks just as nervous as you.
“Would… Would it be okay if I kissed you?”
Having lost all ability to speak, you just nod. His hand comes up to cup your cheek, gently pulling you closer. You almost moan when you feel his soft lips against yours. The first kiss is short and sweet, but quickly he kisses you again, pulling you a little closer. His other hand finds your hip and as he gives it a little squeeze, making you shiver under his touch.
As the sun slowly paints the sky, the warmth of the rays hit you and Bob. But the sunrise is long forgotten, the only thing existing is his lips against yours. Panting, he breaks away with a huge grin. And as you look at him, all doubts you had before are gone.
“Can I maybe, ehm, take you on a date?” he asks softly, almost as if he’s expecting you to say no. Grinning like a fool, you give him a quick peck on his cheek, before saying yes. He puts his arm around you and as you lean into him, finally watching the sunrise, you can’t help but feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

Slow Motion - Ch. 3
I'll Never Be the Same
Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 5
Tumblr media
Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw x Curvy Female Reader
Ehh ooo fam we back with another chapter of the fic that is currently keeping me from the pit of despair! Hopefully a few more updates for a few different series will be up this week since I have a consistent work schedule this week! Also I got the promotion at work! So hopefully my schedule will sort of straighten out so I have more time for the 10,000 hobbies I have 😅
Series Summary:
I mean, love at first sight has to exist for some people. Guess you’re one of the lucky ones. Bob had said it so nonchalantly. Like it was a thing that could, did, happen in real life. And yet here he was, Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, falling for you faster than his plane could take off. But even if everything felt slow motion, was it possible the two of you were moving too fast?
Chapter Summary:
A week. One whole ass week and both of you were walking around like love drunk idiots. Rooster's no stranger to showing a girl a good time, but this love thing, that was new. And there was one thing he knew to be true: he could not screw this up. You on the other hand? All new territory; the hot guy, the flirting, you heart sounding like a fighter jet anytime he even crosses your mind. But luckily both of you had plenty of people rooting for you.
Monday
For 7 am there sure has been a lot of activity. You’ve checked in about a dozen guests, rearranged the Admiral’s calendar a few times and the phone will not stop ringing.
You manage to redirect the latest call, slamming the phone back into its cradle. Putting your head in your hands, you take a deep breath in and try not to linger on the fact that you left your lunch sitting on the counter at home. You couldn’t sleep after Bradley dropped you off; you tossed and turning not trying to read too far into the forehead kiss. Does it mean something? Does he look at me like a sister now that he know I’m the one Mav’s been trying to set him up with?
“Morning Red.” A familiar voice, still gravely from sleep, pulls you from your thoughts. You can’t help the smile that spreads across your face as you look up to see Rooster giving you a sleepy smile as he leans against your desk.
“You’re a sight for tired eyes Cap.” You look up at him, propping your cheek up with your hand. God, he's so cute.
He opens his mouth to reply when another voice cuts him off.
“He’s no captain.” Hangman scoffs, throwing his arm around Rooster and giving him a shake. You manage to keep your laugh to yourself despite the daggers that are clearly shooting out of Rooster’s eyes.
“She knows how to read Hangman.” Bob sarcastically notes as he passes by.
“Come on, let’s move!” Phoenix rolls her eyes, pulling Hangman off of Rooster. He gives a playful “hey!” As he’s shuffled away.
I owe Bob and Phoenix a drink… Bradley thinks as he turns back to your pretty face.
“Why’s he called Hangman?” You wonder aloud.
“How about we don’t talk about him anymore.” Rooster yawns. He may be tired but not enough to talk about Hangman.
“Thanks for driving me home last night.” You smile.
“You mean the whole two streets over from Mav and Penny’s?” He shakes his head. “Thought I was being a gentleman.”
“You were! Mav normally walks me home.” You huff a little laugh, your eyes connecting with his. There it is again, the silence that is full, just not with spoken words.
“I did actually come over here to ask if you were free Friday night?” He slowly asks, casting his eyes downwards. No backing out now. You don’t immediately answer, and when he looks back up your eyes are glued to him and he can practically hear the error noise in your brain.
“Red?” Knew that kiss was too risky. This probably wasn’t the best time. Maybe I can play it off-
“Ya… I’m free.” you answer. Is he asking me out?? On a date??
He quickly stands up straight, running his hands down the front of his uniform and clearing his throat.
“Uh, a bunch of the pilots and a few others are getting together for a bonfire on the beach. Thought maybe you could come with me…” he shrugs practically with his whole body. Stop being so awkward man. You know how do this!
“Ya.” You grin, watching Bradley slowly mirror it.
“Awesome, I’ll pick you up around 7?” He asks, his usual swagger back.
“Okay.” He gives you a shy smile and turns toward the hallway.
“And don’t worry, I remember how to get to your place.” He winks over his shoulder.
Oh no.
“Hey, Rooster?” You wait until he turns to face you. “Could you not drive by Mav’s?” He gives you a small frown and waits for you to continue. “I’ll explain eventually, but Mav will jump to conclusions…”
"The correct conclusions?”
“Ya… but he doesn’t need to know quite yet.” You wink. Rooster grins at your mischievous look and nods.
_______
Friday
“Oh thank god you two could swing by!” You swallow both Penny and Amelia in a hug while trying to shuffle them inside.
“Well, your text made it sound important.” Penny laughs.
“I have a date, sort of, and I have no clue what to wear.” You blurt.
“With who?” Penny asks.
“Sort of?” Amelia asks at the same time.
“You already know.” You try to telepathically transmit Bradley’s name to Penny. “And it’s group bonfire night. Come look at what I have chosen so far.” You take Amelia’s hand and run into your bedroom.
“The beach is freezing at night, so I don’t want to wear anything too light.” You state, showing the girls your outfits you’ve put together so far. “But I also want to, you know, look good…”
“How about forgetting the jacket layer? Maybe he'll an extra if you happen to forget yours.”
“Amelia!” Penny gasps. You and Amelia roll your eyes.
“Penny, she’s your daughter, are you really that surprised?” You playfully snap. Penny contemplates your observation and nods.
“True. So dresses are out?” She picks up the one on your bed.
“Ya… I’ll just end up tucked in it like a ball if I get cold.” You agree.
“Why not just a shirt and jeans?” Penny shrugs. “Well, jean shorts since you don’t do pants.”
“What about this?” Amelia rearranges a few items.
“Perfect.” You and Penny agree. Now just to not be a fool in front of him. He wouldn’t ask you out just because Mav wanted him too…
“You ok (Y/N)?” Penny asks, squeezing your shoulders.
“Penny… I can’t describe this feeling I have. It’s like we know each other, deeper than we know ourselves. But at the same time I’ve known him for a week.” You dramatically flop onto your bed, the girls immediately following suit. “I thought feeling like this only ever existed in my imagination.” You whisper.
“Oh, trust me it’s real. It might not always turn out how we think it will, but it’s very real.” Penny whispers, taking your hand in hers.
_______
“I’ll bet you a hundred bucks that Rooster shows up with a girl.” Hangman flashes a look to the group of pilots around the fire. They all wave him off, no way would anyone bet on that.
“I’ll bet he shows up with Red.” Bob pipes up. Hangman flashes a wicked smile while the rest of the group shakes their heads.
“You gotta deal Bob.” Hangman extends his hand and they shake.
“You really think he’d bring her?” Phoenix asks, giving Bob an unsure look.
“Trust me.” Bob smiles to himself, pushing up his glasses with his index finger. You two had become good friends and you admitted you would date Rooster if he asked. And Bob had suggested to Rooster to invite you tonight.
“There he is.” Coyote sits up to get a better look. Everyone follows his gaze to the blue bronco that just pulled in. Sure enough Rooster steps out with his signature sunglasses and gives everyone a wave. He jogs to the other side, opening the door and helps you out of the car.
“Bastard, how did you know?” Hangman tosses the bills at Bob, who quickly snatches them before they blow away.
“You sure they’ll be ok with me being here?” You ask Rooster as he takes your hand to help you down the hill.
“Ya, Hangman invited Joanna and her friends. Plus the group likes you al-“ he can feel you lose your balance and manages to catch you before you and booze hit the sand. “ready.” He finishes.
“I swear that wasn’t on purpose.” You giggle.
“If you wanted me to hold you close all you had to do was ask.” Rooster teases, quickly pecking you on the cheek before letting you stand on your own.
“Will you two hurry up? I’m thirsty!” Fanboy yells from his spot in the sand. The rest of the group playfully kicks sand in his direction as you and Rooster quickly join the group.
“Ooo whiskey, you know how to pick the good stuff Red.” Hangman compliments.
“What makes you think she picked it?” Rooster feigns offense.
“You would have bought cheap beer, and a lot of it.” Phoenix answers.
“Yikes. Guess it benefits everyone that I came.” You tease, sitting down next to Bob.
“You don’t mind us using the nickname, right?” Bob whispers, offering you some m&ms.
“I don’t, and I don’t think Rooster does either.” You shrug, gladly taking a handful of m&ms.
The group of girls Hangman invited join you, turning up the volume of the radio and getting everyone to dance. The bottle of whiskey disappears just as fast as the sun sets and everyone but the pilots, and you, have stumbled home.
“Wait, wait, wait! You’re telling me he wouldn’t let you, a pilot for the United States Navy, fly him? In a plane?” You shout in disbelief.
“Nope. Said it’s not you babe, it’s the plane.” Halo holds her hands up in surrender. “Like I believed that for even a second!”
“Would you fly with Rooster?” Phoenix asks, eyeing you suspiciously. Everyone gets quiet, their eyes flicking between you and Rooster.
“Ya, of course.” You answer. If you trust pilots you don’t even know to fly 747’s then why would you not trust anyone currently sitting around you?
“Really?” Hangman asks, his eyes searching yours to see if you’re just saying that to be nice.
“Ya, seems silly not to trust one of the best.” You smile at Rooster. “And that goes for all of you.” You quickly add, not that it made your feelings any less obvious.
“Think you’re the only civilian who’s ever said that to any of us.” Bob states, the look of surprise still on his face.
“Lucky me.” You smile. A shiver runs up your back as the breeze starts biting through your shirt.
“Here.” Rooster shucks his flannel off and places it on your shoulders.
“Now you’ll be cold.” You comment, trying to hide the smile tugging at your mouth. I owe Amelia a girls day out.
“Brought a spare when I saw you were wearing shorts and a baseball tee.” He shoots back as he puts a new flannel on.
Bob and Phoenix share a look when Rooster scoots flush against your side, putting his arm around you.
“They’re so in love.” Phoenix whispers.
“How long before they realize that?” Bob chuckles as he finished off his beer.
The group chats until the fire dies down enough that it no longer keeps any of you warm. Everyone says their goodnights, the guys giving Rooster a few cheeky comments about taking you home as he helps you into the Bronco.
“Hey.” You put your hands on his before he has time to walk away. His body snaps back to the side of the car, his face coming very close to yours as he gives you that cute dazed look you can never get enough of.
“I had a really nice time Bradley.” You whisper.
“So did I.” He smiles, eyes drifting down to your lips. When he looks back up you lean in and gently press your lips to his for a split second. You pull back far enough to make sure you weren’t moving too fast.
Without taking his eyes off you he opens the door, and slides into your seat, guiding you to sit on his lap. He flicks his eyes from yours down to your mouth and back up, silently asking if he can continue. You nod and eagerly press your mouth against his. His fingers dig into your thigh, and he licks the seam of your mouth begging for entrance.
You gladly oblige, your arm wrapping around his neck as the other hand slots into his curly hair. Your tongues dance and swirl, no spot left untouched. After what feel like eternity, you unlock your mouth from his, lungs desperate for air and brain so foggy you feel like you’re spinning. And then you feel it, a tickle that follows each kiss down your neck and you can’t help but squirm away.
“What’s so funny Red?” He breathes out, his own lungs finally having a chance to fill.
“The ‘stache tickles.” You giggle, combing it with your fingers.
“Say the word and I'll shave it.” He takes your hand, kissing each of your finger tips before kissing your lips.
“You would do that?” You frown. The world famous 'stache shaved for me?
“Only if you promise to keep kissing me like this.” He smiles, pushing your hair behind your ear.
“Can’t shave it, pretty sure the Navy would throw me overboard.” You kiss him on the cheek. “Guess you’ll just have to keep kissing me until I get used to it.” You mumble as you press your open mouth against his.
He sighs, a smile spreading across his face. As you wish, Red.
_______
Saturday
“Don’t you two took great!” Penny claps her hands together at the sight of Maverick and Rooster in full uniform.
“You say that to everyone in uniform.” Mav chuckles, stealing a kiss.
“Can’t help that everyone looks good in uniform.” She laughs, turning to Rooster. His eyes are already scanning the Family Fun Day crowd for something, or someone.
“We’ll catch up later.” Mav pats him on the back. Rooster gives him a nod and bolts to the row of booths.
“Just me or is he distracted?” Mav smirks at Penny.
“Not as distracted as you.” She winks, taking off toward the crowd.
Rooster waves to a few people as he passes, eyes darting around the carnival until he spots you sitting on a bench. He straightens his uniform, takes a deep breath and saunters over to you.
“Hey Red.” His smooth voice whispers in your ear.
“Cap.” You lean back and smile over your shoulder. Swear her smile gets more beautiful every time...
“How come you’re not over there with all the other pretty girls waiting to walk the runway.” He nods to the group of women dressed in their best 1940’s attire.
“No one wants to see me on that runway.” You playfully roll your eyes.
“I do.” He simply answers, looking at you over the brim of his glasses.
“You think I'm just as pretty?” You smile triumphantly.
“I think you’re more beautiful than any of the women on this base, but that’s beside the point.” He stands up, waltzing around the bench and taking a seat next to you. “What’s it going to take to get you up there?” He nods toward the stage.
“Seriously?” You cross your arms over your chest.
“How about a friendly wager?” He slides off his glasses, clipping them to his shirt, and waits for your answer. You wave your hand for him to continue.
“You get on that stage and I’ll take you to dinner.” He smirks. “You win that competition, you get to choose the place and I'll pay.” He lays one arm along the back of the bench, and even though he’s not touching you, you can feel the electricity spark from his fingertips.
“Sounds like you just want an excuse to be alone with me.” you point out. He bites his tongue and gives you a shy smile.
“Damn, saw right through me.” He chuckles in your ear. You feel the tip of his nose gently scrape against your cheek, and it takes every ounce of control not to shiver.
“We have a deal, hot stuff.” You say into the shell of his ear and walk over to the sign in table.
“Rooster!”
He turns to the voice to see Hangman, Phoenix and the rest of the crew barreling toward him.
“What’s up man?” Rooster reaches for Hangman’s hand, pulling him in for a half hug.
“Did you see all the ladies gearing up for the annual 40’s styled battle of the babes.” He claps, rubbing his hands together in anticipation.
“I know which one is gunna win.” Rooster fires back.
“And how would you know that?” Phoenix pokes.
“Guess you'll just have to wait and see.” Rooster grins, playfully punching the air and taking off to find you backstage.
“Ready Red?” He whispers into your ear, laughing when you jump a little.
“Bradley! Didn’t your mom ever tell you not to sneak up on people?” You lightly swat his chest, your heart going into overdrive.
“Yea, but the Navy says differently.” He flashes a smile as the precession of ladies moves onto the stage.
Someone is announcing names of the girls and their escorts while the crowd ooh’s and ahh’s at them. You watch each girl walk out into that runway, a seed of doubt sprouting in the back of your mind.
“You don't really have to do this if you don't want to.” Rooster offers, noting the small furrow in your brow. He takes your hand and gently places it in the cook of his elbow, preparing to take you wherever you want to go.
“Tell me one thing before we walk out?” You whisper.
“Anything.” He answers. He’s typically reserved with personal information, but he feels like he can tell you anything.
“You ever met someone that makes you feel… different, like you’ll never be the same?” Like you've been in love the moment you saw them in a bar smiling like at you like you were the best thing they ever laid eyes on?
He takes a deep breath beside you, shaking out the tension in his body. Your turn.
“Ya. You.” He confesses, heart pounding louder than a fighter plane. He slowly looks over to see you look up at him, a smile spreading across your face as one of the volunteers backstage directs you to where to start walking.
“And now we have Miss (Y/Full/N), who I’ve been told was awarded the call sign ‘Red’. Ain’t the cute everyone? Her own call sign!”
Bradley struts beside you, waving and saluting to the crowd and you can’t help but do the same.
“And look at those amazing victory rolls! Very talented! She’s escorted by Lieutenant Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw...”
A Loud whistle erupts from the crowd, followed by loud cheering. You look to see all of his friends clapping and whistling as you two walk by. When you reach the end of the stage Rooster gives you a twirl and dips you low, making the crowd go wild.
“Rooster!” You giggle as he gently pulls you up, keeping you close.
“Gotta give them the whole show Red.” He chuckles, walking you back up the stage.
“Alright! Let’s see what the judges have to say.” The announcer excitedly tells the crowd. Each judge holds up their cards but you could care less if you won, because you still get the ultimate prize of a date with the handsome man beside you.
_______
Monday
“How would one get a hold of 10 pounds of crappy work coffee?” You ask Eric, whom you have labeled “the snack man” since he’s in charge of ordering all the food and drinks for the staff break rooms.
He stops reading the paperwork that’s in front of him and slowly turns to you.
“Why would you need that much?”
“It’s… ugh… for a personal thing.” You shrug. Please don’t ask…
His face turns from concerned to intrigued, which means you’re going to have to fess up.
“I lost a bet with Mav. I now owe him a year's worth of crappy work coffee.” you mumble, finding the toes of your shoes very interesting.
“Ok. What was the bet?” He finally breaks the silence.
“What?” You look up at him.
“The bet. What was it?”
You stick your tongue inside of your cheek. Can't be worse then telling Mav he won, right?
“Whether or not I’d start dating his nephew…”
Eric bursts out laughing, slamming his fists on the desk.
“Eric…” You moan. It’s not that funny!
Eric’s turning red at this point, unable to breath in long enough to give himself oxygen. You give him a few more seconds but it doesn’t seem like he’s going to stop.
“Eric! You going to help me or what?” You shout.
“Ya… ya, I’ll get you your crappy coffee.” He stands and walks past you. “I would say I could have told you you’d lose that bet, but guess you didn’t really lose, huh?” He pats your shoulder and starts gathering the coffee.
_______
“Woah, what’s that for?” Amelia asks as Bradley slams the giant coffee bag onto the island.
“No idea. (Y/N) said to set it on the counter.” He shrugs, taking a seat next to her.
“Oh good, you’re here.” You smile at Amelia as you walk into the kitchen.
“Coffee Beans?” Amelia raises her brow at you.
“Mav and I had a bet. And I lost. He gets a year's worth of work coffee.”
“What was the bet?” Amelia and Bradley say in unison.
“Whether or not I would end up dating Bradley…” The words slowly fall from your mouth.
“We are official now…” Bradley points out to Amelia.
“Called it. But that means you bet against it?” Amelia frowns at the last bit.
“Woah woah, don’t get it twisted. I would date Bradley in a heartbeat…” You clarify. “I didn’t think he would want to date…. me.”
“Why?” They ask in unison again.
“Because sometimes I can’t get past what society has put into my head.” You sigh.
“Babe, You’re the most beautiful woman I have ever met.” He takes your hand and pulls you until you’re standing between his knees. “And I wouldn't change a thing about all these nice curves.” He rumbles into your ear, running his hands along your hips.
“Thanks sugar.” You tell him softly, pressing your lips quickly against his.
“No kissing in front of the children!” Amelia playfully whines, covering her eyes.
“Alright, alright! Help me make this look nice!” You giggle, taking a bunch of supplies out of your bag.
_______
“Amelia said (Y/N) came by earlier and dropped something off for you.” Penny tells Mav as they pull into the garage.
“Really? Thought she was stuck at work-” Mav takes two steps into the house and all he can see from the hall is MAV written in big red letters. He quickly walks over to the kitchen island and there’s a large brown box sitting on the counter that says
Lift me!
He shimmy’s the box up to reveal a very large bag of coffee that has a note taped to the top of it
Look in the box.
“That’s not even the good stuff…” Penny mumbles. Mav’s face breaks into the biggest smile when he remember what he told you a couple months back
“Too late. You owe me a year's worth of crappy work coffee if you two end up dating.”
He looks inside the box and there’s an envelope stuck to the top. He peels it off, flipping it over to open it and almost misses the very small writing along the flap
You win.
He opens it and pulls out a polaroid picture of you and Bradley kissing.
“It’s official.” He smiles triumphantly, turning the picture to show Penny.
“Hope she’s ready for this wild ride.” Penny shakes her head, giving Mav a big kiss on the cheek.

plus sized fem reader fic, you're broke and in need of a roommate, Jake gets on your nerves in both of your work places (gym and the bar), and though he's probably one of the hottest men you've ever had the pleasure of ogling, you don't necessarily want him living in your home for fear that you might end up murdering him and that damn smug grin on that damn perfect face..but you can't afford not to have him, so really, what do you honestly have to lose?
FLYGIRL , robert 'bob' floyd. currently only plotted as a stand alone, but could change.
fem!pilot!reader fic. you were two days in to your much needed and hard earned vacation when you got the call back to top gun, and rather than sit and twiddle your thumbs and listen to your parents berate you for your line of work, you immediately got the hell out of dodge and made your way down to southern cali, to an all too familiar base with a crew of pilots who you're much too familiar with, all except for one. you're quite intrigued by the shy, quiet man who seems to be the only one out of your group of aviators to have the tiniest shred of faith and confidence that your one and only dream in life is achievable.
speechless, billy hargrove part four.
the chronicles of Billy proposing with out proposing and wedding planning.
'Stupid Fantasy' Peter Hale x Werewolf Reader Fic.
not ready to give away the plot but this is tomorrow nights post, just saying. Don't quote me on the title im not sure if im keeping it

Let Us Go Then You And I
Robert 'Bob' Floyd x Fem!Reader
A/n: Short fluffy drabble with my soft boy, Bob. The fic is truly inspired by this song and I looped it until I finish writing this so my brain is kinda mush right now. I kinda had an callsign idea for reader but idk maybe I’ll use it in the future ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Reader is a bit dense and Bob is just a sweetheart💕
Wc: 1.3k
“C’mon, Bob! It’s gonna be fine.” You giggle in a hushed tone, tiptoeing through back alleys in the middle of the night.
“I don’t know, y/n…are you sure about this? What if we get caught? They won’t take this lightly…”
“It’s going to be okay, Bob. I promise. Plus, nobody ever checks this section of the field anyway.”
You look back to see Bob, queasy with his thumbs twirling to keep himself steady with his nerves. His eyes dart left and right, keeping a visual on his surroundings in case you get in trouble, or just his muscle memory activating in any sense of danger.
Through a short trek past warehouses and the airfield, you caught sight of your newly found secret spot. Both hidden and forgotten by most navy personnel.
You twist the knob to a fenced door, decorated with warning signs in bold, white letters and red backgrounds ‘KEEP OUT’. In short, that's an invitation to ‘come in’.
The knob turns free, unrestricted. You smile gleefully and swing the door wide open.
“After you.” You gestured, politely.
Bob’s mouth presses until they form into a squiggly line, looking like a lost puppy far away from home. Feet still planted on the spot.
You rolled your eyes and tugged him along your steps.
“Come along, big guy.”
He doesn’t register the dark, at first, only seeing slithers of outlines. This place is fully decked out with misplaced signs, stashes of decade-old equipment and a rusted hull that has seen long passes of days and nights. If the academy ever decided to make a haunted attraction, this would be the place.
You rustled to shadows, hands finding their way through the worn-out walls.
“I think I got it, hold on… And…jackpot!”
The place lit aglow which made Bob jump a few steps back. Much to his surprise, he did not expect to find a swimming pool in an airfield, let alone in the middle of nowhere.
The backlight from the pool illuminated the space
“How did you find this place? It’s amazing! But…how come no one else knows about this?”
“Well, I’m not a stealth pilot for nothing. This used to be one of the old training spots used for extensive underwater manoeuvres when pilots get ejected into a body of water. Now, it’s a free-for-all!” You grinned, blithely.
Bob’s quizzical face formed unnaturally from observing your bemused expression, eyebrows quirked in two arches. He did not like that smile. He did not like what followed after that smile. He learnt the meaning behind that smile fairly quickly, from the times that you and he had to be called to your superior’s office due to your recalcitrant shenanigans. Even back in Lemoore.
Before he could argue the pros and cons in his head, you were already halfway through taking off your jumpsuits, revealing a black tank top and matching panties. A heat of red imploded his face as he scrambles to put his focus on something other than your revealing skin.
You giggled at his solution to avert his gaze with one hand over his glasses, like a child trying to play hide and seek. You slap his hand away and he let out a small yelp, eyes drew wide to the size of the moon.
“Live and let live, Bobby!” You took a step back with arms open wide.
“Wait, wait, y/n!”
The Earth’s gravity took you in its embrace, plunging you deep into the aquatic territory. The chill engulfs the christening silence, muffling in a feigned planet. The water wallows in low cries but alone without being lonely. You break out of the surface, gasping for life.
“Jesus, y/n! Are you outta your mind?!” He hissed, clutching your clothes tightly in his chest.
“C’mon! The water’s…kinda crisp, but it’s perfectly fine. You’ll love it!”
Bob vehemently shook his head. “I-I-I don’t think that’s a good idea…”
You float aimlessly on the edge, between two states, neither here nor there. Staring above into the landscapes of the night, stars burn like fiery ashes. Appearing more and more at the corners of your eyes. It was a good night to be by the pool; the August fever sinks its teeth into the lamented cold that they can't have.
Body slips into the cyan glow once more, sinking deeper as the starry night in your field unsteadies and coils with every stroke, its colours share with the next, shades of beauty with entropy.
"Y/n...? Hey, y/n? This isn't funny anymore..."
You felt serene in these waters; freed with a fleeting comfort. Unlike the sky, where your awareness lies with the sound of growling engines. Here, you feel nothing, yet it still swallows you whole. Your eye wilt close to the prosaic notion, the water mutters in a deep note, accompanied by the soft thump echoing inside your head. It’s the closest you could feel peace in the palm of your hand.
Two firm grasp finds a hold of your face and desperation in his touch, lips trembling and latching onto yours in faints of hope. You ease into his pressure, letting him into your lungs with the sole heat of sharing a kiss. Granted, it felt a bit different from what you saw in the movies. But the intention with Bob is real, that spark from what they describe speaks truth. That the whole world would collide for you with just a single touch.
The surface of the water breaks open as you both emerge panting for air and sputtering out
“OH GOD, TALK TO ME! PLEASE TELL ME YOU’RE OKAY-“
"Well, I was until you—"
"I THOUGHT YOU-YOU LOST CONSCIOUSNESS AND DROWNED! YOU DIDN'T MOVE FOR TWO WHOLE MINUTES AND I PANICKED AND I-I— What was I suppose to tell your family...?"
In his clear blue, still shaken in the rippling tides. You softly shake your head.
"Bob, I don't understand... Why do you always tolerate me, or anything that I do? You could've just simply walked away instead of taking a beating from Cyclone for things that weren’t your fault!"
A huff of defeat escapes.
"Why?"
The moonlit motion reflects his anxiousness, taking a moment to recall the memories that you've been through together. Every instance he had gone through— the good, the bad, the ugly— he doesn't want you to be there alone. Something just doesn't sit right with him seeing you in a straight posture and getting words thrown at your face. That maybe one of those times, he won't ever see you again. It wasn't chivalry; he just felt you shouldn't take this on your own.
"I just don't wanna see you do this alone. I-I don't wanna lose you. I d-don't..." His voice trails off.
His words resonated with an ache within you. How long have you put your trust in him? The certainty that is incorporated into your every decision-making involves him. And without you noticing, your arms envelop themselves around his neck, captivating your lips onto his in the surrounding blue. Bubbles trickle out in the shape of you and him, caressing skins by inch and hair dancing in free flow.
The beauty of the kiss made your head spin, and the weight of it all could stop time, frozen in the shape of water with him in your arms. He returns with a touch to the crook of your neck and a tight grip around your waist, marvelling at this new buzzing feeling running through his brain. Eager, reassured thoughts that he'd never imagined a kiss would do to him, every part of you entangles with him. Your eyes flutter open with glistening eyes, taking him back ashore to the midsummer air. Bob pushed his glasses with a sheepish smile, and you do the same.
"Let's go home."
"Yeah."

Hey, girle I love your plus size x reader stuff but I do know some people who have the opposite issue! how do you think Bobert Floyd would be with his s/o being petite and struggling to gain muscle and weight ?
-em
hey em, i'm glad you enjoy my writing, but i don't recall specifying in any of my things that it was a plus size reader or not. either way, bob and any of the other pilots would love to help their significant other out in their struggles/hardships because any problems they have, they take in as their own and want to help you toward your goal. i dont think it would really matter to them if their significant other is plus sized, struggling to gain weight, disabled, or any other thing.
