i havent seen anyone else talk abt it but like... is anyone else having any issues with 7.9 trillion bot accounts following you?? like i have been followed by, no joke, 60 of them in the past week if i counted right. it's all "first name lastname three random numbers" and they just. keep. coming. no pun intended. but yeah this is getting ridiculous

I do have to chuckle at the bot accounts when they dm me going "Hey, I'm <insert fake name here> I'm very cute--"

And their profile icon is this.

Bitch, as far as I care. You a sleeping pyramid.

....Pyramid is cute though...maybe I should have clicked that suspicious link...

This is why I will block accounts that look like this. Sort out your profiles before you go around following others or they'll just think you're a bot account.

Alright, this is the last straw so if ur a bot account, READ THIS. I usually handle this privately and quietly but I’m OVER IT and it’s getting out of hand.

Heads up, if u are a BOT account and send me ANYTHING sexual or spam message OR ASK of any kind (ASKS ARE EXTREMELY ANNOYING SINCE TUMBLR SAYS ITS BROKE AND SHOWS ASKS IN INBOX NOW EVEN AFTER THEY R DELETED SO I DON’T KNOW HOW MANY ASKS I HAVE) you are inconveniencing me, u are harassing me, u are sending sexually harassing messages multiple times a day, YOU WILL BE REPORTED AND BLOCKED. I shouldn’t have to debate on turning off asks because bots won’t stop harassing me with the most vial disgusting messages. SO I WILL TURN OFF ALL MESSAGES IF I NEED TO, I don’t want to cause Then that ruins it for actual followers but if I have to, I will.

Tumblr is getting soo bad and lately it’s bots and AI. Has anyone else noticed there is now bot AI accounts making crappy basic posts using see like small blurry photo of like spice girls and they use all these tags but the accounts have no photo, no description, no banner.

Just blocked around 60 people, so I'm sorry if you're real and just a lurker who loves comics. If you look like this or similar, I'm blocking all of you.

Unless you add a bio or have profile pics other than pervy pictures of random women, I can't separate you from the bots.

It's not that hard to look like a real person and all I do is upload pictures, feel free to use them.
