Ponte da Mizarela par Bert Kaufmann Via Flickr : Ruivães - Vila Nova - Portugal Ponte da Mizarela (Bridge of Mizarela) is a medieval bridge that crosses the Rio Rabagão, between the civil parish of Ruivães (municipality of Vieira do Minho) and civil parish of Ferral (in the municipality of Montalegre), the Portuguese district of Braga. It was built in the Middle Ages and was reconstructed in the beginning of the 19th century. According to a local legend, it was built by the Devil himself. It is implemented in an escarpment, set in rocks with some altitude relative to the riverbed. It consists of a single arch with a span of 13 m (43 ft). (Wikipedia)

Onder grote belangstelling werd woensdagavond 17 april 2024 de BINTANGSBRUG In Beverwijk geopend. Een prachtige waardering voor de 63-jarige rhythm & blues band. Met het los trekken van een strik en wegtrekken van een rode lap stof onthulden Bintangsfrontman Frank Kraaijeveld en wethouder Ali Bal de zuil met de brugnaam aan het begin van de Bintangsbrug in de nieuwe groene woonwijk Binnenduin. De oudste rockband van Nederland heeft zijn roots in Beverwijk. De Bintangsbrug ligt op een steenworp afstand van de plek waar de Bintangs begin jaren zeventig vier jaar lang repeteerden. Het boerderijtje staat er niet meer, maar destijds zaten de Bintangs er bijna iedere dag. Na de onthulling gaf de huidige bezetting met Frank Kraaijeveld (zang, gitaar) Dagomar Jansen (zang, gitaar en mondharp), Burt van der Meij (drums) en Marco Nicola (gitaar, slide gitaar) een kort concert in een stampvolle tent naast de brug. Ruim 200 bezoekers genoten van bekende nummers. De Bintangs werd in 1961 in Beverwijk opgericht door Frank Kraaijeveld (basgitaar, zang) en Arti Kraaijeveld (gitaar, zang) en Mijne Fernhout (gitaar). Men speelde indorock maar ging al snel over tot een ruig soort rhythm & blues. De Bintangs kende zeer veel bezettingen, met Frank Kraaijeveld, op een paar jaar na, als constante factor. In 1967 bracht de band hun eerste lp uit: Blues on the Ceiling. Na hun eerste album hebben de Bintangs in totaal nog zo'n 23 albums uitgebracht, waaronder Genuine Bull (1975) die werden opgenomen in Engeland en Livetime (1983).
