Funny to think the reason why Floofty and Shelda hold so much animosity towards each other is all because of Floofty not understanding a social clue. Which, honestly, makes sense.

Anyways, thank you for giving me an excuse to post Triffany’s impression of the two. It cracks me up every time, and I’m glad I have a reason to post it now.

Can we just take a minute and acknowledge how terrifying Bugsnax are.

Like they might be the most disturbing video game antagonist I have ever seen. Like move over resident evil, get out of here Outlast, and shoo Silent Hill. Snaktooth island is the most disturbing place I have ever seen.

You wanna know why?

Because the Bugsnax don’t want to kill you, they want to take you and use your body, flesh, and soul to keep them alive.

Imagine all of your parts breaking off into tiny shapeshifting zombies that act all innocent to lure more people in. That’s even worse then death.

Plus they seem to have some knowledge so now we have an intelligent parasite. And the entire world is made of them, and only one island knows the truth.

Bugsnax are more terrifying then we can ever imagine!

Interview Lizbert! (Part Two)

Time to ask the doctor a few more questions.

"I've never really did a proper interview with you."

Оh? Right, right, I guess you need a few more testimonials for your campaign after all.... Honestly, there's nothing special about me. But if you really want to know more about me, I'll answer your questions.

“Who are you?”

Doctor Elizabert Megafig M.D.

“What is your medical specialty?”

Well, in school I focused on endocrinology. But the clinic where I worked was so small that I ended up practicing family medicine.

“Why come to Snaktooth Island?”

Come on, you know why!

[sighs] Eggabell said I didn't have to come, and that she'd come to see me as soon as possible, but I didn’t want to just stay behind.

“Thoughts on Bugsnax?”

They’re a perfectly balanced source of nutrition that, apart from slightly disturbing side effects, are for the most part harmless.

“Alright, Doctor, but how do they make you feel?”

They make me feel as if... for a while... nothing else in the world matters. And sometimes, that can be a good thing.

"What about my Bugsnax allergy?"

Wait, you're allergic to Bugsnax?! What have you been eating all this time?!

"For the most part, I've been eating sauce."

Okay, good. Not the healthiest diet in the long run, but Wiggle and Flooftix seem to be doing fine.

“But don't worry! I’m always hungry for a scoop, you know? G… get it?”

This isn’t a joke! Malnutrition can lead to muscle atrophy, slowed immune response, and even depression! Hmm… I should give you a check-up as soon as we get Egg home...

“Why did you leave town?”

We've talked about this before.

"Any word from Eggabell?"

Heh. I know all about Egg, but she's still a mystery to me... It's been that way since the very start.

"How did you guys meet?

I was working at my clinic in the middle of nowhere and thought I had nothing to do over the weekend... again. When Eggabell Batternugget literally kicked down my door and immediately passed out.

"Jeez, what happened to her?"

Her injuries were pretty serious. Broken bones, bruises all over her body, and much less blood than she should have had.

When she came to, she told me about her adventures: the collapse of the ruin that almost killed her, the treasure in the pyramids of Grumpgypt, everything! As soon as she could walk again, Egg tried to return to the ruins.

"So, what did you do?"

I couldn't stop her, so ... I decided to go with her. Just to make sure she would be okay. And one incredible adventure later, I quit my job and left town with the love of my life.

“That’s everything. Thanks for your time, Liz.”

Oh, we’re done already? Well... thanks for keeping me company.

Hey, uh, you know how to work the projector, don’t you? Here, take this. It's good to remember the good times now and then, and I think you'd like to see them.

Can you do the audio clip of Triffany when she describes Floofty as “smart as a whip and twice as painful”? On my first playthrough on the DLC, I chose Chandlo as the smartass answer but I don’t know how I missed out on that!

“Well, you know Floofty: they’re smart as a whip and twice as painful, haha! I feel like they expect more outta me than I can give, though…”

I love the strange little friendship between Triffany and Floofty. If memory serves me right, they don't seem to interact much outside of the end of Triffany's side quest and the "Major Celebration" story event. It's a real shame, because the dynamic between a quirky middle-aged lady and a cynical smartass has a lot of potential to be really fun.
