I keep getting confused. Can you answer this ask by briefly describing your OCs? or you can link the post where you have done that. Also, how do you keep track of so many different OCs? I tried to do that and it did not go well. I kept getting everyone mixed up :(.

Hello there🧡✨

Ofc I can briefly describe them or at least try to make it brief😂

I think I once posted a short description of some of them, but I forgot to put it on the masterlist (grrr i really need to update that list😂)

Okay so I will start with Rainbow squad first.

Rainbow squad is a special force squad of the Coruscant Guards lead by Sergeant Strife under Thorn's command.

They do investigations, clear the lower levels of Coruscant, take care of terrorists and drug cartels, but they also help out guarding Senators or accompany Thorn's other squads as reinforcement.

They are a squad for any mission. Fox threw the squad randomly together.

The name 'rainbow squad' comes from Sticker, because he really wishes to see a real rainbow and the other’s didn’t care much about their squad name.

Now to the squad members:

Sergeant Strife:

Strife is a former arc trooper and operates under Thorn's direct command. He likes harmony and peace, but everyday he somehow finds himself in a strife, hence his name. But since he likes harmony so much he will try his best to solve anyones problem… with his bare hands. He won’t shy away punching anyone to the ground just to have some peace again. Strife is very caring of others, which makes him appear like the buir of his squad. He loves stars, likes to sew and crochet and is the only squad member who can cook okay.

Now Redd:

Redd is the sniper of the squad and an arc trooper. He loves red and will collect anything red he sees. He is also a kleptomaniac so better hide any jewelry if you are near him. Most often no one notices being robbed by him. Redd loves to flirt and embarrass himself at 79's. But despite his flirty nature he is very loyal to the one he decides to commit to. Redd had several traumatic experiences (being almost sexually assaulted and another time being tortured and whipped for informations). He doesn’t talk about and instead drowns his memories in alcohol.

Next is Cuyan:

Cuyan wasn’t a Corrie. He was part of the GAR, a normal trooper. He lost his whole battalion to an explosion caused by Separatists. Half of his body burned and it’s a miracle that he survived. But because of that he was sent into prison with the assumption that he sold critical informations to the separatists. He didn’t. Someone wanted to just get rid of him. He doesn’t know who and doesn’t know why. What he knows is that no one really cares about clones. Cuyan got bailed out by Fox who took him into the coruscant guards since they need more men. He is stubborn and closed his heart away from anyone. But his new squad started to grow on him anyway and he would do anything for them.

The second arc of the squad is Sticker:

He is Redd's batch mate and got his name for sticking to his brothers like a Sticker. He is very optimistic, clingy and energetic. But also a little naive, trusting, loyal and smart. He is the one liked by anyone. Not even anti-clone Senators want to harm him. There is barely anyone who hates him. He loves to create new weapons and finds creative solutions when his brothers don’t see any way out. Sticker also always has a holo of a tooka with him to show it to anyone looking sad. That tooka isn’t even his.

And the last member of rainbow squad, Stitch:

Stitch is a clone medic. He got his name because his face is covered by stitches, which he got during his time on Kamino. Stitch is very anxious since he got out of the tube and always fears the worst. But he is a very skilled medic and always tries to get better. He often forgets the time, ending up skipping sleep because he was fixating on his studies. Stitch is the one who gives anyone a little kiss or hug after any treatment.

Now the other three.

I will start with Kavi since he is an honorable member of rainbow squad.

Kavi is the right hand of a Senator from a wealthy planet. Like the clones he hasn’t rights and was born to serve his Senator. The only reason why the republic doesn’t see him as a slave is him getting paid. Though he doesn’t have much choice but to work as the right hand and do what he is told. Kavi got taught in many things such as combat, piloting, sewing, cooking, anything that would come in handy for his Senator. His biggest dream is to become a pilot. Kavi loves weird things, can be weird and chaotic himself but he is very loving and fights for justice while looking pretty in any dress or suit. And he is Strife’s boyfriend

Now Patcher.

Patcher was in a batch with Neyo, Bacara and Gree before he got put into medical training. He is the chief medic of the coruscant guards and one of the oldest clones. Patcher is the Ori'vod of the guard and the only one who can give Fox medical treatment. The chief medic is victim to several abuses and assaults. His whole body is covered by scars , and he lost one of his eyes, having it replaced by a cybernetic one. His colored his other eye red by himself to make himself look even more intimidating, so no one would dare to get close to him again. He fears of trusting, fears everyone except the vode. Which is why he stopped leaving the corrie headquarters. Patcher can be very rough but he is also very cary and he loves blue milk.

And then there is Fork my precious bby.

Fork is the lieutenant of the 107th attack battalion. He is Strife's batch mate and actually got promoted to commander, but he refuses to take the title since the previous commander was dear to him and he still hopes for him to return. Fork got his name because he loves forks. He would even eat soup with a fork. He got teased a lot for it but his batch mate always loved and accepted him for who he is, making himself accept his name. Fork has severe survivors guilt, believes that his batch mates died because of him, thinking he should have died instead. In his battalion he has no one he is close with since everyone mostly teases him, sees him as a 'freak', because he doesn’t talk. He only talks if he is either comfortable or if his job demands him to. Otherwise he will use his hands to communicate which is easier and more comfortable for him. Fork feels immensely, is very aware of others emotions and actions and all he wants is to save innocent people. Keep as many alive as possible. I could talk more about him but jfjdjdnnd this is getting very long😂😂

As for how i keep track of my ocs…

They live in my head. I forget a lot of stuff about them too but the core of them lives in my head. They all have some part of me in them which probably helps keeping up?

Strife has my need for harmony

Redd has my loyality

Cuyan my loneliness

Sticker my inner child

Stitch my anxieties

Kavi my weirdness and love for energy drinks

Patcher my trust issues

And fork the feeling of being an outcast and also the heaviness of emotions, making talking very difficult

I also smt make notes to remind myself about other details i assigned to them.

But most often everything is just very intuitive for me

People will come and go in life, and although it can be painful initially, it's usually for the best. That's a bit of a cliché thing to say, I suppose, but truly, we are just not meant to click or grow with everyone we meet.

Sometimes we outgrow people and realize that we are on completely different levels of maturity. Sometimes people are revealed to be different than we originally thought, and we realize that they aren't the type of person we want to keep around anymore. Sometimes we simply drift apart and realize that it's time to let go of a connection that is no longer there. Sometimes we have a dramatic falling out and realize that we can't stay in such stressful situations. Sometimes people don't click with us anymore, and we realize that we've become very different people with very different interests, thoughts, and opinions. Sometimes we don't even know we've lost a connection and realize that it happened after the fact, and we wait for answers from these people that will never come.

Whatever the reason, you will be ok without these people, in the end.

You will lead a happy and fulfilling life without them. You will form strong and mutual relationships without them. You will accomplish things that you never thought possible without them. You will move on and walk into a better, brighter future without them.

The only person you need in order to be happy is yourself.

Hi hello!! I’m so sorry this has taken me so long to actually answer—every time I begin trying to attempt a comprehensive list of tips I always second guess myself or think it isn’t coherent enough and end up deleting it 🫠🤦

First and foremost, knowing the platform you’re working on!

Back in the old days when I first started writing on here, I had no idea how tags worked (still struggle), no idea how to link things, how to structure a fanfic or any idea about layout (what font to use for a title, where to put the pairing so people know who you’re writing for, word count if you want to include that, etc.), and didn’t know how to put that ‘read more’ thing on, so I strongly advise being familiar with the platform you’re going to write on 😭

Secondly, spelling and grammar!

Some people don’t mind it as much, but being familiar when to use capitals, when to use commas, speech marks and quotation marks, how to end dialogue too in terms of where the punctuation goes! (Which still sometimes messes me up 🫢)

Proofreading too I think is very important! Again, it might bother some people more than others, but as a general rule, making the story simple to read so no one struggles with figuring out how to say the sentences in their head will benefit the coherency :)

Knowing what you’re writing!!

I went on a tangent about this a couple of days ago (I think?), but knowing who you want to write for, what type of story (smut, angst, or fluff as the general three), how you want to format your fics: do you want to write drabbles/headcanons/one-shots/multipart fics? A mixture of all of them? What suits you best?

As a side note: scheduling?

I think it’s important to know how much you’re capable of writing without risking burnout! Especially with fanfiction where I’m assuming you want to start because you enjoy it, to not lose the fun of it through feeling pressured to write as much as possible :)

Sometimes you might be able to write more often than others, and it’s good to be able to know what you need, whether that’s time away from writing or forcing your way through it—though it can take a while to figure out. :)

🍑 on writing smut..

1 - writing smut is an exploration not a reflection of who you are and it’s great way to delve into your sexuality/kinks in a safe manner. your writing should turn you on, just as much as your audience 😌 so, don’t force yourself to write about things that you don’t like - even if you think it might generate more notes and give you more interactions.

2 - if you’re stuck while writing a piece try focusing on the five senses - sight, smell, touch, sound, and taste. ask yourself some questions to help build the scene > ex: are the characters looking into each others eyes or a specific body part? what kind of cologne/perfume do they smell on their partners? are they warm to the touch? can they feel the goosebumps on their partner’s skin? are they vocal or quiet? did their breathing change? can they taste strawberry lip gloss or a lingering cigarette with just a kiss? etc.

3 - don’t get intimidated by inexperience (& I am using this description a little loosely, but it applies however you may take it). you can always draw inspiration from videos, gifs, audio clips, and reading other works + researching certain subjects/kinks is also super helpful!

4 - respect your boundaries/space as a writer - you don’t have to explain your reasoning for why you want to write about a certain kink or sexual act. in turn, the best way you can respect the boundaries of a reader is by tagging fics appropriately!

5 -not all smut has to include some type of penetration. you can deliver an equally steamy piece by merely focusing on foreplay.

6 - body parts are what they are & there is no reason to complicate what to call them in a fic lol keep it simple

7 - if you’re still insecure about writing a long and drawn out sex scene, try focusing on building the tension leading up to the moment! the few steamy paragraphs you end up writing will always hit different if you have some good tension 🫠

8 - don’t forget that every act is intimate - no matter how fluffy or dirty you write your smut piece and a good way to relay that is by describing the characters emotion in the moment - think about their inner thoughts towards their partner: what are they thinking? how are they feeling? are they happy, nervous, stupidly horny or angry? this is also a good way to enhance the smut without actually writing anything super descriptive regarding actions.

9 - note reactions; lashes fluttering, back arching, jaw twitching, lip biting, legs shaking…point out the responses to every touch, kiss, thrust��

10 - finally, you don’t have to force yourself to consistently write smutty pieces. It does get exhausting/boring writing about it all the time, and that’s okay! if you still want to write about intimacy but not focus on actual sex try thinking about other things like aftercare, domestic moments, or love confessions.

Gotta say! Honkai Story making me shed tears but life is sending me straight to the pits with even more tears! _:(´ཀ`」∠):_

I'm just now getting back into writing after years of not doing anything and i feel so rusty like i hate whatever i write and now there's this pressure i feel because nothing i write feels good enough lol i love your writing and I'm amazed that you can put out consistently long fics that are all amazing, do you have any advice??

I feel you!

Honestly, I used to write a long time ago and I took probably about, 6 years off? It took a while to get back into the swing of things but as soft as it sounds, I truly find that if I’m invested in what I’m writing - if I love the world, the characters or even a song that inspired an idea - I genuinely enjoy it.

Don’t worry about anyone else, don’t look at your word count, don’t worry about notes. I know every content creator craves validation (I will hands up admit this myself) but do it for you first. I’m sure whatever you produce will be amazing!

And honestly, I don’t know any writer that’s loved what they’ve written. I cringe over my own work all the time! I panic, I doubt myself, I worry things are too long or too short and I constantly compare myself to others.

You’re not alone trust me, and if you ever want someone to bounce ideas off of, drop me a wee message 🧡

Hiii!!!! I just have a random question. I started my own blog and I feel like my master list is not nearly full enough and it’s something I worry about. However, I know if I force it, it will be trash, since part of the reason I started it was to work on my writing skills. So I guess my question is, what gets your creativity flowing? Also do you ever make yourself write, or do you just let it come to you?

I mean, sometimes it is just easier to write than others? Personally it helps if I can fully envision the scene unfolding and have dialogue planned out beforehand, having music to listen to, knowing what mood is right? Most of the smut pieces on here I’ve written after having a nice meal, changed my sheets, washed my hair, and just generally gotten myself into a comfortable mood so that I’m ready and happy to write, so I think genuinely doing things for yourself can have a big influence on how you feel about creating fics :)

It can also feel stressful when first starting to write fanfiction and I think that’s a pretty normal experience! I think if you have a goal you’re eager to reach, going slow or even at a regular pace of not pumping fics out left right and centre can make it feel like you aren’t doing enough, which is not the case! I’d say most of the fics I write take a minimum of three days but that’s if I’m scrambling to finish something! For example Desk Pet took I think two weeks to write, and The Other Woman I think was closer to a month and a half—both of them written over the holidays when I wasn’t posting anything, so it’s perfectly okay to take your time and remember that you aren’t in any rush to do your best 🧡💛

That being said, I still do strongly recommend doing nice things for yourself—genuine self care can go a long way, and I’m not talking about the commercialised kind of having a twelve-step, rigorous skin care routine, or going on a ten mile run (though if that works for you, go for it!) More like if there’s a special kind of instant noodles you like, grab a pot! If there’s a cozy jumper/t-shirt you feel good and safe in, settle into that! Anything to make you feel happy I think will always be a step in the right direction 🧡💛
