after drawing the sparkly bider-man i wanted to make one for my AU... purely self-indulgent...
I doubt Peter would really take the time and expense to make a special pride suit he would only wear once or twice unless Johnny convinced him or smth so it's mostly hypothetical but still fun —
I was looking through my timeline trying to figure out when would make the most sense for this (which also included: has Johnny outed himself yet) and I ended up deciding 2014 makes the most sense because well, in 2012 he will be locked in a basement during June, and in 2013 he would be busy with Electro and finishing grad school, but 2014 is like... right after he and Flash get married so I can easily imagine Johnny being like "cmoooon let's dress up together, you just got gay-married" etc. and, well, peter does like to dress up... (otherwise he wouldn't be in spandex all the time 😂)
normally I avoid metallic or shiny spandex like the plague for suit designs cause I think it looks cheap but I made an exception for this 😂 it probably IS cheap...

posing for pictures... johnny's idea, naturally. in my timeline i think johnny outs himself in like 2011 or so after a very messy divorce (from lyja) but I'm not spending too much time on the F4 stuff in this aside from just having a general idea so if they appear in a fic I know what's going on 😅 anyway by 2014 johnny is def way more comfortable with being publicly gay, since the cat's long out of the bag, though he's still got a lot of issues... but he's good at pretending to be okay :)

I thought it would be fun if the lens frames were sparkly... normally I have his frames out of vulcanized black rubber (like car tire rubber) (...like might actually be carved from old tires) just cause I prefer the matte and slightly soft look compared to plastic... I figure something like sparkly firm silicone or sparkly plastic is probably pretty achievable for Peter to make. And the lenses would just be his normal bulletproof lenses but with an iridescent film on the outside to make them a little rainbowy...
and I think in 2014 irl holographic glitter spandex was like... something that existed that you could buy lol so i figure he can very carefully sew a holographic spider on.... so the spiders are like, that silvery white rainbow glitter kind of look
no webbing because there's a limit to how much labor and time peter would be willing to put into a flashy, kind of useless costume that he wouldn't be able to/want to wear very often... (and i wasn't a fan of how it looked)
bisexual fingers. there's a dirty joke in there somewhere.
it's difficult to come up with body-covering outfits that are suitable for summer weather as-is but the fact that he's wearing polyester spandex underneath really adds a layer of "i'm going to get heatstroke and die" to this outfit. lots of linen though. at least the armpits are athletic mesh.
also yeah the spidey shirt is a leotard with a snap crotch so. he's really just hoping that doesn't unroll under his clothes cause it would absolutely hang down very visibly from under his shirt if it were to fall. (maybe he can use his electrostatic sticking powers to just. hold it in place...)
he also can't roll down the waistband of his tights because it's more rigid than the rest of his costume on account of that's where he keeps all his spare web cartridges and it would suck if they all fell out LOL

i also drew this which is much more corny/embarrassing but i thought it was a cute idea — by necessity has to be after flash is public and transitioning etc… so 2016 at the earliest but i drew this more like 2017 or 2018, after she's been on hrt and stuff and is probably more confident
i don't think there's a worry of accidentally spotlighting her/outing her because, well, she probably doesn't pass in a lot of people's eyes… broad shoulders, sideburns, etc. but… peter thinks she's pretty ❤️
i was gonna draw more of the gang but then the list kept expanding like, oh should i include X, what about Y? and it was. too many people. so then i just decided to only draw flash and peter 😂
they should have stickers on their shirts though... like a polyamory sticker... or pins...

if we're talking younger KEL, he definitely pisses his pants mid-movie, but older KEL has matured (at least a bit) so he probably won't be affected

when you ask him if he'd fight for you, he'd say of course! but honestly he might just run off and leave you in the dust

might scoff when you try to flex about not being scared
she isn't affected at all, but she does get a bit embarrassed when you hug her arm

she'd ruffle your hair and hold you close though
"fight for you? i'd beat the shit out of anyone that tried to touch you." she squeezes you tighter, because she knows you'd do the same for her.
i cant decide if she isn't scared of it at all or is scared but doesn't show it,, so that's up to you

Hi, I'm Pridoo!
I'm a full time artist and teach graphic design in university. I study art majoring in film and television studies.
I'm an early 90's bby and hang out under the rainbow flag. 🏳️🌈 My pronouns are they/them. I'm also engaged to be married!
I'm way too into Star Wars and The Mandalorian considering that I know nothing about SW. Whoop! I'm really interested in visual storytelling like comics.
My hobbies include watching telly, crafts, playing video games and weekly DnD! Irl I actually like dark academia and goblincore, but I don't really make art around those subjects.
I work fast and use agile methods in my work, mainly because I struggle with depression. I have an assistant who colours my comics and supervises my work.
My username comes from the first page of the novel Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy by John Le Carré, and my pfp is from a painting by Hugo Simberg, named Garden of Death.
My dreams include getting about every academic degree level there is and having a greenhouse. I don't like pickled foods and the colour purple.

ok now YOU tell ME about critter :3 whats its sexual/romantic orientation? how long has it known Sil? whats its favorite color? who is it close to besides sil, if anyone? whats its favorite fish?
Oh- Oh dear, thats a lot of questions.
Its actually aro/ace. Prolly some kind of greyromantic or something like that... It is definetly not allo and it hardly has actually lasting feelings(Sil is literally the first and only exception to that). I usually just say its gay. Its also nearly exclusively into old men 👍If you're not in the 1000+ age range, you're too young.
How long it has known Sil really kinda just depends on the day, really. I don't tell the story in a chronoligical order, sometimes its at the very beginning - other times its 500 years in. Or more. I mean, even in my mind I just switch things around all the time.
But creachure is me and I've known him now since 641 days or 1 year and 9 months and 1 day. Since 12th of July 22 he's just got an insane chokehold on me and I am okay with that.
Favorite colors are red (duh), light blue and purple. I like the blue sky so much,,, and red + blue is purple. But the entire color spectrum is good, honestly. Including black, white and the entire grey scale.
Who it's close with is a good question.
It's definetly close to the Seer, I mean that is essentially their parent, their creator...
There is the moon sturgeon prince, his name is Azure. They're like friends but Azure is very mentally ill and is kind of an arse, honestly. If you know what he's been through its no wonder he is the way he is but thats only for me to know and you to find out.
There is Oswald too but Oswald tends to not be available that much - god of decay is busy rotting somewhere in his domain like he's lying in bed all day.
And then there is a bunch of unnamed ppl who are just based on my irl friends. They may never appear but they do exist.
And a bunch of funny pets... totally no horrors it made using parts of it's own body.

OK, here's one, (mostly because you write well and I want to stimulate more of it and apologies if you have done this at length already) How did you come to see yourself as a submissive and what role did online or irl d/s communities play in that?
That's very kind, thank you!
From a really young age, I was familiar with what submissive meant outside of D/s. I guess largely from a religious understanding of being a submissive woman or submissive wife, I didn't see submissive as a bad thing. Or more honestly, I saw it as a good thing.
I didn't exactly walk around thinking "I am submissive" when I was really young...it wasn't an intentional part of my identity or anything...but I was sensitive, quiet, shy, a people-pleaser, agreeable, accommodating, and so on. So if someone would have called me submissive I wouldn't have seen that as incorrect. I didn't really associate my understanding of submissive with being a sub, I thought subs were basically pain puppies I guess?
In general, I just had weird stereotypes of BDSM. There was a time in my life where I knew I was interested in spanking, but wouldn't have identified as into BDSM...because my stereotype of BDSM was people who wear all leather and get tied up with chains in dark basements and beaten severely with whips. Or like, severe breast bondage that leaves them all purple. And that sort of stuff just wasn't me so I thought BDSM wasn't me, either.
My interest was always more like...a married couple wearing ordinary clothing, doing a spanking in their cozy bedroom. I didn't realize that my stereotype of BDSM was just..a stereotype, and that BDSM was a much broader umbrella that could include any sort of sadomasochism, any sort of power play, any sort of bondage, etc.
How online D/s communities played into embracing submissive (in the BDSM sense) into my identity was through helping me open my eyes past those stereotypes.
Finding content where people identified as D/s while living really "ordinary" lives so nobody from the outside looking in would even know they weren't vanilla, as well as couples who weren't necessarily interested in the more "extreme" sadomasochism stuff, but were very interested in power play, made me realize that my sexuality actually did fit under the BDSM umbrella...and that D/s couples aren't just one type of person or type of relationship. It was also online communities that helped me to realize what 24/7 D/s could be. I had heard of dom and sub before, but I thought they were basically roles played in the bedroom, I wasn't familiar with lifestyle D/s until finding online communities. Prior to finding online communities, I knew things like I wanted my partner to be the head of the household, but I hadn't connected that interest with my sexuality or BDSM. So it helped me to shift my perspective and understand myself better...more holistically, I guess?
So yeah, I guess online communities helped educate me more on the variety of ways that D/s can look, and once I understood that, I pretty immediately realized that I was a sub and that CD and I were into BDSM. Over time, I came to realize that the core of my sexuality really is power exchange more than anything else. Maybe I could have eventually realized that on my own, but finding communities where others were connecting power exchange with BDSM definitely helped me understand myself sooner. I've largely answered based on myself but it also helped gain perspective on CD and his kinks as well. His experience basically mirrored mine.

For the Ministry Role Event:
1. Would you say you're more likely to be a Sibling of Sin or a Ghoul? Why?
I think I am more likely to be a Ghoul than a Sibling of Sin. I love music and am very interested in taking vocal lessons, learning how to play the drums, and learning how to play bass. The aesthetic of the Ghouls has always interested me. The masks are gorgeous, and I love the idea of having different appearances or abilities based on your “element.” On the other hand, being a Sibling of Sin and participating in rituals / ministry magic sounds cool.
2. Which Papa would you prefer to work with? Why? (Sister Imperator is included)
This is a tough one. Papa Emeritus III is my favorite, he seems funny, flirty and a little eccentric without being too overwhelming. On the other hand, Papa Emeritus IV is very friendly and kind of awkward, like me! Between the two of them I would most likely work with III. I would not like to work with Imperator.
3. Are you an introvert, ambivert or an extrovert? Tell us a bit more about it.
I consider myself an ambivert. I like hanging out with my friends, whether it’s irl or online. I also like having my alone time, and enjoy chilling in my room with my cats. I’ve noticed that sometimes hanging out refills my energy, and sometimes being around people drains it a lot.
4. What chore do you like the most/hate the least?
My favorite chore is probably picking up the trash. It’s one of the easiest things to do, although sometimes you find some nasty stuff. After you pick it up you just throw it out, unlike doing the dishes where you gotta clean it and your hands feel blegh. My least favorite chore is cleaning the litterbox. It doesn’t take long, but it stinks and it makes me feel gross.
5. Do you like to travel, or maybe you prefer to stay at home?
If I had the funds, I would travel so much! There are so many cool things to see in this world, but traveling takes time and money. I have time but not money lol. I do like staying at home, but that’s mainly so I can play games and be with my cats.
6. Freebie. You've got five sentences to tell us anything you want about you.
I am a very quiet person at first, but when you actually get to know me I am kinda chaotic! Somehow I always end up being the Mom friend of the group, even though I am a tiny feral goblin. I have ADHD, anxiety, depression, and some undiagnosed disorder causing chronic pain. My first Ghost song was Square Hammer, and Papa III was the first Papa I ever knew, but I became a Ghost fan during Papa IV’s era. I would love to work in the film industry, especially if I got to work with practical SFX.

You work for Papa Emeritus III and then for Papa Emeritus IV.
You do special effects for both the stage shows and music videos. So you have stuff to work on both tour and at the Ministry.
You have a really nice room at the Ministry, Terzo made sure there was also room for your cats there.
You get to travel all over the world and get paid at the same time! If you ever want to work in film inidustry then either Copia or Terzo would happily write you a glowing reference. You also get to help with all the music videos and chapter vidoes. Copia often says "maybe soon you can help with a concert film sì?"
The Ghouls ask for you to get a mask too, Terzo agrees, he knows you've always wanted one and there is a chance the crowd could see you. He gives it to you wrapped up with a purple ribbon around it.
You have your own space on tour where you can hang out, if Swiss sees you missing your cats he'll curl up next to you and purr when you stroke his head. Swiss and the rest of the Ghouls love hanging out with you, you are one of the pack.
Swiss has also declared you an apprentice Ghoul. He enjoys your chaotic energy and your enthusiasm for learning different instruments. So Swiss teaches you stuff about vocals and Mountain also sees you as an apprentice so is teaching you drums. The two of them are very proud of your progress.

Favourite OC.
Erlind Ebonsong, formerly and at least still in High Rock officially, known as Erlind Madieve, child of Lisende and Antoc Madieve, younger sibling to Coran and elder sibling to Alesinne and Wylin. Dragonborn, Companion, bard, relic hunter, and spellsword. I'm not entirely sure when I made them, but I love them dearly and absolutely both send them through a meat tenderizer and want the happiest ending for them.
2. Newest OC.
Nathari, Queen of the Reach, daughter of Jarl Igmund and his father-disapproved Reachfolk lover Esana. She's close behind Erlind on the favourite oc list, tbh, and is the one I made to satisfy my interest for messing with Skyrim's politics. She's got her fingers in a lot of pies despite only sticking within the Reach for the overwhelming most part. She's a little younger than Erlind chronologically, and was about seven when the Markarth Incident happened and her mother fled to the hills with her. (And Jarl Hrolfdir told Igmund that Esana and Nathari were killed by other Reachfolk 'as traitors' in the chaos.)
3. Oldest OC.
Vezha is the oldest out of my current TES OCs, I should specify. Both irl and chronologically, actually since he's the father of one of my others. I'm not sure when I made his original version, but he was afab and genderfluid at one point, with purple tattoos, and he was part of my previous set of story-based OCs. I don't think I ever landed on a questline for him to be the protag of, however. What I know for certain is that I liked the plot hook of his backstory notes, so I adapted him to fit into my current set and since then he's undergone some other changes as well. (For instance, he used to be Volgash's uncle and not her father, which I've kept in that because of his amnesia and context clues he thinks he's her uncle for a while.)
4. Meanest OC.
Larus. This picrew makes him look so dang young, but also if I recall my timeline correctly he is one of the younger ones in the batch. Raised in a bandit camp that really screwed up his perception of other people's worth to each other, then spent a bunch of years with a vampire den, then joined the Dark Brotherhood. He is a vampire, I just based this picrew off of his in-game preset that I haven't updated yet. He's an ass unless he wants something from you, and even then he'll still probably be an ass, just more of a subtle one.
5. Softest OC.
Okay, so this was a hard choice, considering Erlind's a devotee of Mara and makes a point of being kind to everybody that they can. However, I think this one has to go to Volgash, Vezha's daughter. She's the baby of the group, had the best childhood on a whole even considering her dad's amnesia, and until Plot Stuff starts happening at Sarthaal, she's sailing by nicely. Volgash is maybe not the nicest of my ocs, but niceties are fickle anyway and that role would change on a daily basis depending on if Larus or Janora or Nathari wanted something from someone.
6. Most Aloof/Standoffish OC.
So I think at this point I'm only missing Janora, but alas, here we get a double-Larus, with Nathari and Erlind coming up several paces behind for their own reasons. Larus was taught to believe as a kid that nobody has any worth except for how they can be useful to someone else, and that continues on into his adulthood even after the vampire den were...well, I haven't done much development of him, but at least the vampires were nicer about that.
7. Dumbest (Affectionate) OC.
This was a hard one, because a lot of my OCs are smart, and similarly they've all got elements of complete idiot, as most people do. However, I'm gonna give this to Erlind, because they're very, very, very emotionally oblivious. I don't call the romance in the fic a 'glacial slowburn' for nothing.
8. Smartest OC.
So...she may have gotten caught at Helgen, and whatever it was she did to make the Cyrodiil Thieves Guild send her to Skyrim, but Janora is very good at what she does. She can read people very well, which is only compounded by the excellent education she got before the events that caused her to join the Thieves Guild. She's extremely logical and pragmatic, which makes her a bit slow in action, but when she does something - for the most part - it's because she's thought it through first.
9. OC I would be best friends with.
So. We're going Erlind here because for one thing they're the one I know most about, but also they're the most of these OCs like me, and I think we'd enjoy rambling back and forth at each other and commiserating on having epic mothers and wonderful not-each-other best friends.

Ok you're like the only person I know who draws self-insert stuff, like, A LOT so I just gotta ask: How do you... draw yourself??? Ok that probs doesn't make sense but like... I wanna draw self-insert of myself and a fictional character but I really don't like how I look (and I hate drawing myself) so I end up hating what I draw. How do u manage to draw urself for self-inserts without hating how u look?
U don't gotta answer if u don't wanna but u seem rlly comfortable with, well, drawing urself and I legit don't know what to do here. I hope this made sense. Sorry if it doesn't....

I'm so sorry that you don't like how you look ;n; I also struggle with accepting my appearance, let alone learning how to love it. But I promise that self insert/shipping actually helps with that kind of thing over time -- writing your favorite character giving you constant love/validation also helps you see yourself the way that they see you. It obviously doesn't happen overnight, but it helps!
I have been drawing myself since I could pick up a pencil, and my S/I design has changed a lot over the years tbh! The way I drew myself when I was 9 is a lot different than how I drew myself at 15, and very different from how I draw myself now. Nothing has to be set in stone, you can change your design whenever and however you please. No rules!!
Do I always wear glasses IRL because my vision is piss poor? Absolutely. Do I always draw my glasses? No. It's not that I dislike my glasses - I love them, in fact, I feel more confident when I wear them - but sometimes I will draw myself with them and think "ah that looks like me :)" and other times I won't draw them at all and still think "hm yeah that's still me!" it really just depends on how I'm feeling during the day, or during the scene of the drawing. I gotta be in the Mood™.
As for my body, I didn't start drawing my round tummy until I was maybe in my late teens. I used to hate my freckles, but now I draw them so often and I write my F/Os loving them so much, I cannot imagine going without them.
You don't have to draw anything you wouldn't want to, especially since this is a newer experience for you. And you can add whatever the hell you want. I draw myself with purple eyes sometimes just because I feel like it. Does my S/I actually have purple eyes? No, they're brown, like mine. Sometimes I put little blue streaks in my hair, sometimes I'll draw myself in outfits that I don't actually own, but I wish that I did. Again, there are no rules, you can do whatever makes you feel comfortable!!
Your drawing of yourself never has to be exact, not unless if you want it to be. And it's kind of impossible to make an exact replica of yourself anyways. Our art styles are very different, and that includes how we perceive ourselves in a fictional setting. I will often write myself walking on my toes (i'm a preemie-baby and it's common for us to just. walk on our toes constantly instead of flat-footed like a normal person lmao) but I won't bother to draw it. Orrrr I draw my nails all painted and blue and pretty, but IRL they're actually bitten and torn and I feel more comfortable writing that little detail instead of showing it.
Like... I hate drawing my body sometimes, I will draw it and think "goddamn I really look like this? >:(" but then I gotta snap myself out of it and remind myself that it's my body, it's human and it's just as lovable as those fake photoshopped magazine covers. Society drills into us an impossible standard for beauty and it's so easy to compare ourselves to others, and even easier to spiral downhill w/ that mindset. And honestly if I'm feeling especially insecure, I'll draw a F/O cuddling my stomach and saying "wow my girlfriend is sooo gorgeous, what a knock-out" or something similar and it will feel a little easier. Like I rly don't have to stress about how I look because my F/Os love me just the way that I am, I wouldn't have to change anything for them!
But it took me a long time to start drawing that way. It takes a lot of patience w/ yourself. But! As for my hair + facial features, I don't hate those very much, I just like to make my features "fluffier" because it's my art style and when I look at it I think "ah, that's me! :)" and that's all there is to it.

OH WAIT one more thing -- it could possibly be more comfortable for you to start off in literally the simplest art style possible & take it slow. 👠 I actually really love fashion packs! I only ever had like 1 or 2 for MH, but they were always super cool and I love to dress up my dolls in different outfits. It’s actually why I’m getting into making my own doll clothes.
💘 My favorite doll line (not including the OGs, because that would be unfair) is the Dead Tired line! I love the pj looks and the bedroom sets, I think they were my favorite as a kid. Clawdeen’s bunk bed was one of my favorite sets for the line because the extra bed was perfect for little dolly sleepovers! I actually love the line so much that I’m in the process of designing a manster version of the Dead Tired line, including a bedroom set. I don’t know if I’ll make them IRL, but I think Deuce will definitely get an IRL outfit if I can ever get around to practicing my sewing.
🍫 I only have one Spectra doll, and I think she’s my absolute favorite version of her. It’s the Dot Dead Gorgeous one. There’s just something about her design that hits all of her key elements IMO, plus the ghost theming is on point. My least favorite Spectra doll is the Ghoul’s Getaway doll. Why? Just- Why??? The giant pink hibiscus flowers give the outfit an awkward silhouette. Her hair tries to be purple, but fails miserably. Her dress has a strange pattern that’s trying to go for a chain theme like the rest of her outfits, but it fails at that too. Then there’s the yellow. Not only is it not one of her theme colors, but it also looks absolutely atrocious on her. The whole look is just…no.

The Looks and Names of My Ovipets (pt. 1)
This part is going to be all of the Lupus's I've adopted. It will include a picture of them, their name, and possibly a small thing about them.

This part has 29 pets.
This is Hydrao. I wanted to name her Hydro but make it look more interesting, because she looks interesting.
Buggy is one of the first female Lupus that I got. I like the lighter pink with the dark blue.
Now we have Posey, named that because I thought she looked a bit like an Opossum.
This is Sandovan. She came with her name, and is one of my favorite pets.
This is Stella. I don't really have much to say about her, honestly.
Now Caremel on the other hand, she's a double pure, being pure white and pure bronze. Yes, I know her name is spelled weird, I feel like it adds to her charm though.
This is Gyaru. She was adopted to be a part of an experiment which I ended up dropping. She's named after a type of street fashion.
And this is Butter. I'm not the best with names and she looks like butter to me.
Zest was also adopted for the dropped experiment. I like the way her purple contrasts with her orange.
Splotch is yet another dropped experiment adopt. She's trans colors and I love her very much.
And another from the dropped experiment with Kaira. I just think she looks pretty, and I like how her wings and spine ridge match.
The experiment went on for a bit. This is Rora. I love the contrast of the purple and green, since those are my favorite colors.
Next is Traya, who I believe was also a part of the experiment.
And for the last female, we have the first female I adopted, Crumble. She's where my love for the hades set started.
And now we move on to the males, starting with Night. He looks so fluffy, and like he would smell nice.
Mushy is also a top pick of my pets. He has a perfect mushroom aesthetic.
And we're back to the experiment pets with Seaglitch. I love his mutations and his colors so much.
Another very soft looking pet in Haikuu. He's named partially after the volleyball anime, and partially after the type of poem. I love his colors. He is also from the dropped experiment.
This edgy dude is Vaya. His sharp blue eyes look so cool.
And now we have Alien. He was also from the experiment, because I loved his vibrant green, and the light yellow.
This is Clown. He is very, very vibrant and colorful. He was a part of the experiment. I love him a lot.
This is actually the most recent Lupus I adopted. His name is Jettsy. He's both soft and edgy, in both his mutations and his colors, and I love that.
And now we have Scott. That's really all there is to him.
Monarch is the exact opposite. He's fluffy, he has huge wings, and I love him.
This is Dragonfly. He is yet another pet from the Experiment. His bright orange and pink with the black is very Halloween which is my favorite holiday.
This is Viola. He's the last of the experiment pets. He's named after the purple seelie pet in Genshin Impact.
This is Jack. He's named that because he reminded me of some of my old irl pets, and one of them was a jack rustle, even though he doesn't look like one.
This very soft boy is a. Just a lower case a. He came with the name and I found it hilarious so I kept it.
And lastly, we have the very first pet I adopted. His name is Stel. Honestly I don't care about him very much, but he was were I started from and so I love him for that.

Guys I’ve ACTUALLY FULLY FIGURED OUT SYLVIE’S MYSTIC POWERS. (Took a lot of inspiration from things like She-ra and Nimona!) this will probably be a big ass text post so be warned :}
I will also probably be talking a little more about Usagi later in a different post! I’m just very excited about Sylvie right now.
So big mama hired these scientists to mutate people to make a new big flashy fighter for the nexus, so what’s more flashy than someone who can literally shapeshift?? (An ability I’ve been set on them having since their creation)
Don’t ask how they figured how to do this, but they gave Sylvie the ability to control the actual fibers of their being. The original idea was over their cells to give the ability to change how their body looks and acts at any given moment, but it went a little further than that all the way down to atoms (but only their own)
This also gave them the ability to teleport. How? They basically scatter themself and reform where they want. Usually it’s over very small distances because it is EXTREMELY taxing at first, but they practice regularly to get their stamina up. They like to call their ability ‘glitching’ because to them it feels like they suddenly go static and clip through reality. Sylvester being dramatic, decided to start making it look like they were actually glitching too. (Purple flashes, very blocky and obvious in the way they dissolve)
They really enjoy glitching, so while they can shape shift they usually don’t bother and haven’t mastered that ability so it’s pretty limited to shifting between full cat mutant versus human form like a cloaking broach. Their favorite form to take is mostly human with cat ears and tail. Says they “enjoy looking like an irl cat girl but make it gender neutral”. This made it so they didn’t technically need things like top surgery, but they wanted the scars and to waste big mamas money and time.
Both abilities use more physical energy than mystic energy, so if they haven’t been sleeping or taking care of themselves it becomes harder to do either thing. This also means they can chug 5 energy drinks and glitch around the entirety of New York before immediately passing out. They often use it to counteract their insomnia, and usually it works but sometimes they’re stuck being even more exhausted and still unable to sleep.
The ability to glitch really played into them having the upper hand over big mama in their dealings with her. She wants them and their flashy powers to do her bidding, especially because she kinda thinks she owns them. However that doesn’t really work when they can literally just poof out of existence and reappear somewhere outside of her very large grasp. So, she begrudgingly agrees to a lot of terms that benefit Sylvie more than her. Including very limited nexus appearances. (They do sometimes just want to fight someone, usually when in a bad mood, but otherwise avoid fighting in the nexus like the plague)
Overall I am very happy with their abilities and how they work with them as a character!

Reoccurring Fish dreams
warning for long post, mentions of fish death, animal abandonment/negect, ect. mostly within the setting of a dream, no real animals were harmed in the making of this post.
So IRL I haven't kept fish in years, the last fish I had was a betta in high school. but I grew up with aquariums, when I was a little kid my dad had a big freshwater aquarium, my aunt had a giant 50-gallon aquarium with a red ear slider turtle in it, for a while I had a good-sized aquarium with African dwarf frogs in it, and I had several bettas in tanks I now realize were much too small for them. Plus, some hermit crabs in a terrarium for a few years.
It was pretty abrupt going from always having fish and seeing my aunt's turtle on at least a weekly basis, to not having any, since I moved out of my childhood home at 19 after the last betta had died, and by then my aunt had rehomed her turtle. (my dad's tank was also long gone by that point, and had been since I was like 8)
As a result my brain still, to this day, is not used to not seeing and caring for aquariums and small mammals/pets on a daily or weekly basis, since for years I cared for my bettas, as well as various small pets ranging from the hermit crabs to helping my aunt with her rabbit (and the hamster that one time, and the guineapig, and the frogs before they died, and the turtle, and that time she had a snake for a few weeks before she found it a home) Nowadays it's just me and my cat (and my mom, we still live together because it's easier to help each other with our various disabilities that way).
It's really weird even more than half a decade removed from small animal/fish/amphibian care, and my brain is convinced that I'm forgetting a very important chore, hence the reoccurring dreams of fish tanks of various sizes with dead fish, starving fish, dirty water, larger tanks where an ecosystem has formed with new fish apparently born in there since I last checked and the fish eating each other, ect ect. Oh, and last night's dream really hit it home by having a side story where I was distracted from apparently just realizing that my home was filled with abandoned aquariums, to realize that I also had a rabbit just wandering around my apartment, which I had apparently adopted at some point and forgotten about, however apparently dream me is more of a slob then irl me, because the rabbit was completely fine and even refused the perfectly good lettuce I offered it, apparently full. I also apparently had a fenced in yard filled with plants and vegetables probably inspired by the small vegetable garden I'm growing irl, although the 'fence' is just a little garden fence less than a foot high and the whole garden is probably only 4x8 feet in size. the dream version was much bigger and included a gate in order to leave, as well as a nearby field of flowers and a river, neither of which actually exist near my house, so idk what that was about, however the yard was connected to the house/apartment via a door with a pet flap thing, so I guess that might answer the question of how the rabbit was still well fed despite me having forgotten about it's existence, apparently.
There were also moments where I apparently forgot what species the "rabbit" was supposed to be, as it shifted to be a chinchilla a couple times, as well as just being an amorphous small, furred mammal. I swear at one point it was purple, did my brain completely forget what rabbits were/looked like.
There was even a side plot of finding a random dog/puppy, and then walking it around my neighborhood (which at that point had completely ceased resembling where I live irl) asking if anyone knew who's dog it was. eventually I apparently brought the dog to the animal shelter, and specifically asked that if they couldn't find it's owner to let me know and I'd adopt it.
It was really long winded and weird, as those dreams often are. At this point I think the only way I can rid myself of these dreams is to get a small pet again or fish, since my brain is trying to remind me to care for pets I don't even have.

I had a dream where I think my friend and I went to like the ren fair and ran into an ex boyfriend of mine (who doesn't actually exist) and he was a piece of shit and I remembered (?) that I needed to get my stuff back from his apartment because I had left some things there including a pair of purple converse (in this dream I owned pink converse (which I actually have irl) as well as brown (?) and purple ones). I think I asked him if I could come over and he said yes and I brought my friend with me. he lived in this pretty nice looking duplex (?) that had a gravel driveway and was sort of isolated but not really. we went in there and iirc he was nice at first but he became extremely rude and kind of aggressive so I think I grabbed all of my missing stuff and ran out the door. my friend and I got back in my car and drove away and then I think I immediately remembered I had left my purple converse there and needed to retrieve them. I ended up sneaking back into his apartment alone because I knew he left his door unlocked and he was just peeing and the closet was super close the door so I just grabbed the shoes and left but he immediately noticed and I think started running after me
