Archibald's reference/concept art! Also included is the drawing of Kamsell referenced in Ikushima's note. Translation notes under the cut.
The note that says, "Sad✅" is one I feel really unsure about, in part because the handwriting and angling makes the middle character a little hard to make identify, and in part because there's just not really a lot of context to go off of. I ended up saying that it was a phonetic spelling in Japanese for the Chinese synonym of 鬱 (you can see this particular spelling listed as the "On" pronunciation), because all the other more obvious options (mainly the word "cow" or a word that meant something like, "ulp! [nervous exclamation]," didn't really make sense. That said, I don't think that sort of spelling is used very often (or even possibly at all), so there's a pretty decent chance I just misunderstood that one.
Related to that, I'm kind of going with the theory that since "Sad✅" definitely reads like a joke in English, that might have also been the intention in Japanese. That could explain the unusual spelling, the same way we might write something like, "I guess you could say it has a certain jen ay say kwah" and phonetically spell/misspell "je ne sais quoi" for comedic effect.
And as far as the checkmark goes, that came from the circle symbol at the end of the original Japanese caption. From what I can tell, circles can represent a few different things in Japanese: they can reference the actual word "circle"; they can mean something like a blank (e.g., it happened in the year 20XX, but where English puts Xs, Japanese puts Os); or they can mean "correct" in the same way a checkmark does in English. Circles are also sometimes shorthand for ロ, so it might have meant something related to that as well. I ended up going with the idea that it was a checkmark.
The "God of War" note was a little hard to make out for some reason, and I feel a little unsure of the exact meaning--mostly, I'm not sure whether they were saying that the God of War was Archibald/Kamsell, or whether it's more the person/bear that they're sitting on top of. I ended up just leaving it kind of vague, but there's probably some nuance I missed there. If I learn more when I translate the Kamsell page, I'll make an edit here.
"Strong brow and eyes" might also be translated as "prominent and intense brow and eyes." I used "strong" because it felt like a more natural way to express that concept in English, but I feel like it loses a little nuance in the process.
As an interesting note, "Archibald" in Japanese is something more like "Arch bolt," so there's a little bit of wordplay going on with it.

i’m just so annoyed about it because not only did he spoiled the fun we were having, but he’s also alienating his own fandom. a fandom that’s still recovering from the “i’m straight” image

Summary:
House Wolffort has successfully driven back Avlora and the Aesfrosti army, yet Roland is still troubled. Frederica finds him deep in thought and the two discuss support and strength.
Word Count: 1,501
read on ao3
Excerpt:
Roland can’t sleep.
He stares up at the ceiling of his room in Castle Wolffort. It’s not unfamiliar — several times as a child he’d spent the night in Serenoa’s home — but he’s used to this sight being by choice, not necessity.
Yet it’s not entirely by necessity, isn’t it? If the others had simply listened to him when the Scales were brought out, his view would be of…well, he’s not sure where Gustadolph would’ve put him, but the view would’ve undoubtedly been different.
And that’s why, instead of all the other reasons that have caused him difficulty in sleep as of late, he cannot rest tonight. After the vote, after his initial fears of the troubles their decision would bring, Roland had thought he was ready for the inevitable battle.
He’d been wrong.
It’s stupid, because they won. All things considered, the losses could have been far worse. They didn’t even have to use any of the fire traps. But it’s knowing what could have been: any one of his companions killed, him being captured after a long and bloody battle for naught, homes of civilians burned for nothing more than a desperate grasp at an advantage. All in his name. All because the world has determined he matters more than anything and anyone else.
Yet while it could have been worse, many still lost limbs or lives. The fact that even one drop of blood had been spilled in his name when it didn’t have to be hurts like a physical wound. No doubt his father or Frani wouldn’t have been bothered like this. As if Roland needs any more reminders that he’s not ready for — let alone worthy of — the throne, providing there’s even one left at the end of this for him to take. Providing he survives.
And what right does he have to be disturbed when Cordelia is still at Whiteholm?

Seward was already complaining about having to actually write things, and how much harder that is than just dictating to his phonograph with his little wax cylinders.
And now he's gotta write down this big long rant from Van Helsing about man-thought and man-brain and child-brain over and over?
That "And so I have written it" is definitely added because he's salty about it, especially because it's immediately followed by "and Mrs. Harker has written with her typewriter all since she brought the MS. to us."
Because you see, MINA knows shorthand. MINA can type a lot of stuff up with a typewriter, and quickly, too, because she's already transcribed everything.
Dr. Seward does it. Oh, he does it.
But if they weren't fighting a literal vampire, a devilish monster who killed the woman he loved and has set his mark upon one of his friends, I'm pretty sure he'd be like "Sure, Van Helsing." *omits giant rant about man brains and child brains and writes down Mina's conclusion only*
